Memories Of Her-Ch 8
Hotch was talking to Dave when his cell rang, he looked around to make sure that Penelope was no where around before saying, "what did you find?", JJ said, "well we followed Savannah to her home and I stayed and watched her while Spence went around looking to see what he could find".
She continued by saying, "I watched her drug one bowl of what looked like maybe stew or soup and then disappear downstairs so that's when I made my way back to where Reid was and that's when we saw it, saw him".
Hotch looked at Dave and then said, "him, him who?", JJ said, "it's Morgan, she's got Derek, she's had him here this whole time", Dave looked at Hotch and said, "Aaron, what did they find?", Hotch said, "Morgan, they found Morgan, he's not dead, Savannah's had him here this entire time".
JJ said, "right now isn't a good time for Penelope to get upset so maybe we better not tell her just yet?", Hotch said, "let's get him out of there and to the hospital first and then we'll tell her", Dave nodded his head yes as JJ said, "good idea", she then sent him the address and after finding out the others were on the way she ended the call and got back to Reid.
When she got back to her husband she said, "what's happened?", Reid said, "he ate the food she gave him it's like he's different, I think that drug that you saw her slip into the food was some kind of mind controling drug", JJ said, "that's what I think too, especially since she went to all the trouble of making us think that he was dead all this time".
Reid said, "are the others on the way?", she said, "yeah, they'll be here in a few minutes and don't worry they weren't going to tell Penelope until after we get him out of here and get him to the hospital, we can't take any chances with her or the baby, not right now, not until we're sure that he's away from her and safe".
They sat and watched Savannah spend time with Derek, they watched as she reached out to touch his face and they watch him pull back and then Reid said, "we need to get him out of there", JJ opened her mouth to agree with him when the rest of the team arrived and quietly made their way toward the worried couple.
Hotch said, "how is he, is he alright?", JJ said, "well she just drugged him again with what we won't know until we can get him out of here and to the hospital", Dave said, "don't worry we've got an ambulance on the way but don't worry we told them to park up the street and that we would notify them when we were ready for them".
JJ said, "what about the locals?", Hotch said, "I called and talked to the locals on the way here, they should be here any second", he had barely got that sentence out of his mouth when they pulled up and made their way toward the agents quietly as to not let Savannah know that they were there.
Reid looked up and said, "we need to get him out and the sooner the better", Hotch nodded his head and said, "alright, Reid, you, JJ and Em enter from the back in case she tries to run and Dave, me and the others will go in from the front and be careful because Savannah is pregnant, we don't want to hurt her or that baby", everybody nodded their heads yes as they headed in separate directions so that they could get the rescue of their dear friend started.
