SUMMARY:
Kensi and Deeks are having a movie night at his apartment, he tells her something before she leaves. What does Deeks tell her and what will happen?
CHAPTER 27: Boy or Girl...
APRIL...
THE DOCTOR'S OFFICE...
Kensi checked in and waited to be called for her turn, today was the day to find out if the baby was a boy or a girl.
"Hey, you were the one that wanted six scoops of ice cream with lettece and chocolate syrup. Who has six scoops of ice cream?" Deeks said as him and Kensi sat down with her hand on her abdomen.
"I was hungry and I am eating for two." Kensi shot back. "And that's why the baby is kicking up a storm. You made him so hyper." Deeks told her. "What makes you think this baby is a boy? What if this baby is a girl?" Kensi asked and Deeks shrugged.
"I don't know. Either way when he or she is old enough I will teach him or her to surf." Deeks told her.
"Kensi Blye." The nurse called.
Kensi and Deeks got up to follow the nurse.
THE EXAIM ROOM...
It was not long after Kensi and Deeks were shown their way into the exaim room, that the doctor came in.
Now Kensi lay on the bed as the doctor did the ultrasound.
"Would you to know the sex?" The doctor asked. "Yes." Kensi and Deeks said at the same time.
After a few minutes the baby moving around the doctor finally was able to find out.
"Okay...it looks like you are having a boy." The doctor announced.
"Wow, that's our baby, Kensi." Deeks said as he looked at the screen in a amazement, before looking at Kensi who had tears in her eyes. "We're having a boy." Kensi replied.
THE BULLPEN...
1000 AM...
Kensi and Deeks had an 8:30 appointment to see the doctor and had already told Hetty they would possibly be late for work.
"Well, look who decided to show up for work, G.?" Sam said spotting Kensi and Deeks.
"We an appointment this morning and found out that..." Kenis began. "We're having a boy!" Deeks announced.
"Oh boy, I bet he turns out like his father." Sam joked. "Do you have a name for him yet?" Callen asked.
"Dominic Micheal Deeks." Kensi told them.
"After Agent Dominic Vail and Agent Mike Ranko, I assume." Hetty said coming into the bullpen.
"Yes, after Dom and Mike." Kensi said.
After a few more minutes of talking Kensi and Deeks sat down, getting to work on the paperwork. Waiting for the whistle to come they had another case.
