Shadow Cat Dance and Shadowy Creation
The entire battle was being used for Mei to show off her support items by using the speedy engine leg guy for a whole ten minutes, and after showing every supper gear she has on her, Mei steps off the ring and wipes the sweat off her face.
"That was fun, but I think I've shown off everything I wanted to." Mei said, starting to calm down.
"I suppose it's time for me to wrap this show up." Mei decided to leave even though she didn't win the match, not that she care about winning the tournament.
"Uh… Hatsume stepped out of bounds, so Iida advances to the next round." Midnight announced, but this match made her feel pity for Tenya, and it was weird that Mei didn't bother winning when she clearly had the advantage.
"I CAN'T BELIEVE I LET YOU TRICK ME!" Tenya screamed in rage at being a doll for her support gears.
"Sorry about that. I needed to use you to make a name for myself." Mei said with a soft chuckle.
"I looked like a fool!" Tenya exclaimed.
"Iida's so sincere, he trusted her motives. She probably made it sound like she was doing him a favor." Izuku worried for Tenya's pride and feeling pretty down.
"HAHAHA! The dude could've seen through that Mei chick!" Yang laughed.
"But you gotta admit! Those support gears she had on were so cool, it was like she's prepared for any kind of situation!" Ruby smiled widely at the gears.
"Except using them to her advantage to win, that would have made her gears stand out a little more." Blake pointed out.
"She's not the type of girl to likes to be in the spotlight unless there's something in it for her." Weiss stated.
"Man, she's such a straightforward girl. She'll do whatever it takes to reach her goal." Izuku commented as he wrote this down in his notebook.
But during the talk, Ochaco was all silence upon watching the match and decided to leave for the waiting room to give herself some privacy because she needs to do some thinking while the others don't notice her leaving.
But the only one who notice this is Blake feeling a bit worried for Ochaco.
"Blake, shouldn't you be going? Your match is coming up." Weiss reminded the cat-Faunus girl of her match.
"Right, better get ready." Blake nodded and leaves.
"If you all excuse me, I'm going to have a business talk with Mei." Weiss excused herself from the group.
"Weiss, in case you've forgotten… You don't have your family's money anymore." Yang pointed out, whispering so that nobody could hear them.
"Of course, I remember, you dolt! I'm talking about creating a new Schnee business here in this world and I believe Mei may help me with that." Weiss stated that she wants Mei's unique talent with support gear.
"If you want crazy girl to help you out in making money, then be my guest." Yang said sarcastically.
"Oh, how supportive of you." Weiss rolled her eyes before leaving.
"Hey Izuku, we should try making a strategy or two for your fight with Shoto." Ruby said which Izuku agrees.
(Later, Fifth Match)
The crowd started shouting loudly because the fifth match is about to start, and they cannot wait to see how this battle will turn out.
"We're gonna charge right along to the fifth match!" Present Mic announced.
"This kitty likes to be quiet, especially when it comes to reading as her hobby. But her actions speak louder than words! Give it up for Blake Belladonna of the Hero Course!" Present Mic introduced Blake.
"I'm ready, show me what you got." Blake said.
"Verus… Is there some kind of purpose for those things sticking out of the head whose body loves to dance. Also from the same Hero Course, Mina Ashido!" Present Mic shouted for Mina.
"This match is gonna be a piece cake." Mina grinned.
"Too bad you won't be the one eating that piece of cake." Blake commented.
"Damn, that was good! A little better than Yang!" Mina complimented.
"So Izuku, how do you think this match will go?" Yang asked.
"Well, knowing their powers, I say Blake would have the advantage with her combat skills and her Quirk allows her to dodge and misdirect her foes into a trap for her to make a quick attack. That means she would also be able to dodge Mina's Acid Quirk." Izuku explained with his smart.
"Mina mentioned something about loving to dance, maybe her fighting style is around dancing." Yang said.
"Even so, it's not gonna help her here." Weiss believed.
"Fifth match… Begin!"
Blake dashes forward to begin her attack, Mina saw this and quickly started skating away from the black hair cat girl and tries to strike first with a spin kick, but Blake jumps over that and goes down for a swipe kick to knock Mina off balance.
"Whoa!" Mina shocked and quickly throws her arms down to catch herself and flips back onto her feet.
But in that moment of recovery, Blake shows up right in front of the literal pink girl to kick her in the stomach, sending her a few feet away.
"(Damn! This girl doesn't waste any time!)" Mina thought groaned from the pain in her stomach.
She saw Blake coming at her again and trying to keep her away by throwing some acid towards her on the high and low level, but Blake saw them coming and uses her Shadow ability to dodge the acid and move around fast Mina the throw a punch to the face.
But Mina wouldn't go down that easily.
"Try avoiding me like this!" Mina threw one hand down to the ground and perform an upside-down spin kick that struck Blake pushing her back.
"This dance is dedicated to your defeat!" Mina started shaking her hips.
"Mina managed to push herself up from Blake's attack and now going to make this a dance battle!" Present Mic commented.
"You got this, Blake!" Izuku cheered.
"Kick her pink ass!" Yang shouted with excitement.
"Bust the move!" Tsuyu cheered for Mina.
Blake smile thinking this fight is going to be an interesting one as she gets into her battle stance and gesture her hand at Mina to come at her, and Mina did with her acid sliding and tries to throw a punch only to be caught and move her to the side.
But Mina quickly twists her body around for a spin kick that Blake barely dodges with her Semblance and jumps back.
"You won't get away from me!" Mina charged after her opponent.
Mina throws in a few punches that Blake blocks with her arms and caught her leg, but Mina quickly uses her other leg to kick Blake right in the face to knock her away and does some breakdancing with a little of her acid in the mix to do some more damage.
And the acid is also making small melting holes on Blake's clothes much to Minoru's delight.
"Oh no, she got Blake!" Ruby shocked.
"But not for long." Weiss said.
"Better finish this… NOW!" Mina jumped at Blake with a double flying kick to knock her closer to the edge of the ring and to push her over it too.
But just when it seems like her kick made a connect, Blake suddenly vanishes causing the pink girl to gasp in horror upon in that instant realization that she has been played.
"Gotcha!" Blake grabbed hold onto Mina's body on the side.
She started running for the edge of the ring as Mina pointlessly tries to break free and the Faunus of Remnant threw Mina right off the ring and crashes onto the ground.
"Owie…" Min exclaimed.
"Ashido is out of bounds! The winner is Blake Belladonna!" Midnight announced as the crowd cheers loudly for Blake.
"Oh snap! Looks like Blake pulled a vanishing act on Ashido to carry and throw her away for the win!" Present Mic surprised.
"It was smart of her to use the moment where Mina would be vulnerable in the air." Aizawa commented.
"Oh yeah, I knew Blake wouldn't lose!" Yang smirked.
"Amazing! Mina may have lost, but she definitely shows to be more capable in strength of power and movements than I thought. Come to think of it, she did place 9th in the Quirk Assessment Test. So, she can definitely hold her own in a fight though her combat skills are not enough for Blake given who much experience and skills she has under her kitty belt." Izuku mumbled about the fight.
"I see you're trying to size up the girls, one of them catching your eyes?" Yang asked teasing.
"Huh, no! I didn't mean in a weird romantic thing like that!" Izuku gasped blushing.
"NOOOO?!" Minoru screamed, catching his classmates by surprise.
"I was hoping Mina's acid would melt more of Blake's clothes to see what she's wearing under the gym uniform! But those little holes aren't enough!" Minoru complained.
"You fucking perv." Kyoka rolled her eyes.
"Momo's fight is next, right?" Weiss asked.
"Yeah, she's going to be fighting Tokoyami in the next match." Hanta mentioned.
"Good, there is a quick talk I need to have with her." Weiss said as she hurries away.
"I wonder what's all that about?" Ruby asked curiously.
"Maybe it's about some rich girls' stuff, just leave her be." Kyoka shrugged.
"I don't care what those bitches are talking about, if it doesn't involve fighting or rock music like yours then I'm not." Katsuki stated.
"I think you need a swear jar." Ruby said.
"(Okay, that's the second time he mentions me. I somehow feel weird about this.)" Kyoka thought blushed a little.
(With Mt. Lady)
"Now, let's not let this hot streak cool. Time to move on to the sixth match!" Present Mic announced.
Mt. lady is seen watching the big TV screen outside of the arena being curious about some of the kids in the festival and hoping to see more of that Midoriya kid soon.
"We're not here to watch TV!" Kamui Wood yelled at the female heroine.
(Back in the Arena)
"Offense and defense in one! The dark samurai and his darker shadow! From the Hero Course, Fumikage Tokoyami!" Present Mic introduced Fumikage who stood silent and serious.
"Verus the great creator! She was admitted because of recommendations, and I think we can all see why. Also, from Class 1-A, Momo Yaoyorozu!" Present Mic introduced the second student.
"How do you think this will end? Any clues?" Mashirao asked Izuku.
"Momo can lots of things with her Quirk, so maybe she'll win." Yang guessed.
"I don't think it's that simple." Blake said.
"Blake is right, timing is going to be the key thing here." Izuku stated.
"Oh, how so?" Mashirao asked curiously.
Momo is looking at Fumikage with a sharp glance and readying herself for the battle while doing some quick thinking.
"(Present Mic's description of Tokoyami was accurate. With Dark Shadow, he's skilled at both attacking and defending. He can also call upon the creature instantaneously, so there's little doubt he'll start the match with preemptive strike.)" Momo thought guessed of what her opponent's first move will be.
"(I also have to think about the advice Weiss gave me moments before I came out here.)" Momo thought looked over to Weiss who is staring back at her.
"(I'll have to be fast on both my Creation Quirk and my speed to give myself a chance in this fight.)" Momo thought gritted her teeth a little.
"(Easy Momo, you need to keep yourself calm and be ready for anything.)" Momo thought took a deep breath.
"Sixth match… Begin!" Present Mic declared the start of the match.
That's when Momo quickly ready herself the instant this match started by Present Mic.
"Go, Dark Shadow!" Fumikage shouted.
"I've got her!" Dark Shadow came out of Fumikage and charged straight at Momo.
"(Shield!)" Momo thought quickly started forming a shield from her right arm.
Momo was able to react fast enough to make a fully shield right when Dark Shadow was right on top of her and bounce back from the shield sending it up in the air.
"Now, what I do next is…" Momo started to think back on her little talk with Weiss earlier.
(Moments Ago, Before the Match)
Momo is seen leaving the waiting room and about to make her way to the fighting stage to face off at Tokoyami.
"Momo, can I have a moment?" Weiss asked, walking up to Momo at a small fast pace.
"Weiss, did you come here to wish me good luck?" Momo asked.
"Yes, but I'm also here to give you an advice that you should keep in mind very much." Weiss answered.
"Like what?" Momo asked.
"I know we've only known each other for a short time, but I can already guess that your first move is going to create a defense item against Fumikage's Dark Shadow. Am I right?" Weiss asked.
"Yes, I know that he can summon his Quirk instantly and it's not going to be easy going around that kind of power giving Tokoyami the long-range advantage to protect the user while attacking at the same time." Momo nodded.
"Well then, don't overthink it." Weiss said, confusing Momo.
"I fear that you're going to overthink about how Fumikage has the advantage over you and how you're gonna try and beat him. I'm saying you should focus on one thing, beating Fumikage and that's it." Weiss advised.
"Really? Just like that?" Momo asked surprise.
"Yes, and you should also do this as well. When the first move is made, charge in with no hesitation or anything." Weiss said.
"You should be also to use your Quirk while moving at the same time, right?" Weiss asked before walking away.
"Good luck with your battle!" Weiss said.
Momo looks on at Weiss thinking about what she just said.
(Present)
"(When the first move is made…)" Momo thought looked up at Dark Shadow then at Fumikage.
"(Charge in!)" Momo thought sprinted toward Fumikage the fastest her legs could go.
"She's coming for me!" Fumikage gasped.
"Looks like the Making Queen is going on the offense." Yang commented.
"Good, it looks like my advice worked." Weiss said as she moves in and sit with her team.
"You gave her some advice?" Blake asked.
"Just something I thought she needed to hear. That girl can think too many things at once with that big mind of hers, like she's trying to make herself perfect." Weiss disappointed in such a silly idea.
"Kinda like how you used to be?" Ruby asked giggling, earning a glare from the snow princess.
Dark Shadow quickly turns around to go defend his user from the ponytail girl with one handed claw swing at her, but Momo was able to defend herself from that attack even though it knocks her down onto the ground.
But that's what exactly she was hoping for as she slides a little closer to Fumikage and swing both arms holding a long iron staff that she swings to his legs causing the bird-headed boy to fall with his back against the ground.
"Would you look at that! Yayorozu was able to use Dark Shadow's might to get in closer to Tokoyami knock him down." Present Mic said.
"I got you now!" Momo quickly stands back up and prepares to knock him unconscious.
"I don't think so!" Dark Shadow charged at Momo again and knocks her away from Fumikage with a strong blow on the shield again.
"Oh no, you don't!" Momo created a chain rope to wrap around the dark creature to keep him restrain, but he broke free from the chain.
Dark Shadow tries to grab Momo with both of his large hands though the girl was able to dodge and moves to the side, but what she didn't expect was Fumikage coming in with a punch to the face.
"Sorry, but this round goes to the darkness." Fumikage said before getting a kick to the stomach, but it didn't matter because Dark Shadow grabs Momo in his hands, lifting her up from the ground and then throwing her away to crash outside of the ring.
"Yayorozu is out of bounds! The winner is Fumikage Tokoyami!" Midnight announced.
"And that's it for the sixth match! Momo was showing dedication of winning by heading into the danger zone, but it was Tokoyami to win in the end!" Present Mic commented.
"I lost… I tried giving everything I got, and I still lost." Momo shocked.
"You may have lost, but you still did great, Momo." Weiss smiled and clapped her hands.
KO a new chapter is done and hope you all enjoy it!
The two battles were awesome! Mina tried to outdance Blake, but the Remnant black cat show that she can dance her way to victory, and it looks like Momo was able to last longer against Fumikage and Dark Shadow than in the anime with a little help from Weiss but still lose in the end.
