Prolouge

Chisaki was being defeated.

By a hormonal teenager no less. It was unacceptable.

True, the boy was strong. Somehow, he managed to withstand Eri's rewinding ability. The only possible explanation he had was that the boy was continuously destroying his body while Eri reversed it.

It was something he admitted was both stupid and brave. He was impressed.

However, he couldn't be defeated. He had a goal. He refused to be defeated.

With a lot of panting and crawling, he made his way towards the boy, who was currently dealing with the energy Eri was releasing.

One step.

Another.

Just a few more.

Almost…

There…!

He grabbed one of the legs of the boy tightly and channelled his own power. Instantly, the boy's cells began to dismantle. But the cells were immediately being revived by Eri's quirk. The boy was barely aware of what was happening as he was in immense pain.

The child that was on his back, however, was very much aware of what Overhaul was doing.

She was very much familiar with it.

Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku screamed as he felt his body torning apart.

"I will destroy you boy!" Overhaul threatened with a very weak voice.

"No!" Eri screamed at the top of her lungs. "I won't let you hurt anyone else!"

So she did the only thing she knew.

She poured as much energy as she could muster.

Overhaul's eyes widened at the amount of power she was releasing.

"You fool!" He yelled. "You'll kill us all!"

"I won't…!" She yelled back.

But she made a mistake.

So did Overhaul.

…Izuku as well.

They exploded.

Then…

Nighteye watched in fearful fascination as a multi-colored sphere, the size of a softball, levitating at the place where Izuku once stood.

It was quite obvious to him.

One For All.

And then, there was nothing but void.

It is eight past ten and her son is still asleep. He never sleeps too late. Not even during the holidays. She decides to wake him up.

Usually she would knock on his door before entering his room. But she twists the knob and pushes the door open.

Izuku is sleeping soundly, the All Might theme blanket covering his whole body.

She proceeds to move the curtains and opens the window. Then, she walks next to Izuku's bed.

"Izuku, dear," she speaks in an intentionally high-pitched, but melodic tune. "It's getting late. You have school, don't you?"

"Eri…" she hears a muffled voice. "Calm… down… I will save… you…"

Inko sighed. Her son was dreaming of being a hero. Again.

"Wake up," she gently taps on a bump on what she supposed to be his shoulder.

Then, she curls an eyebrow.

That felt ridiculously easy to move with a small touch. Is he not eating enough? No, she serves him food herself. There is no way he can get so skinny overnight.

So she does the most obvious thing.

She lifts the blanket.

Then she looks at… Izuku?

And finally, she screams.
