Chapter 585: Dream: Linc's Dreams…
(Lewis Residence, Franklin avenue. Royal Woods Michigan.)
Michelle B. Lewis comes out from her bedroom, and she is speaking with her partner at the Music Studio. "Look, be sure they have finished the recording and then have them off on their way. We can't hold back the band for their recording album, since they got this concert happening in Great Lakes City two days from now." She then hangs up and she hears a knock on the door.
Michelle opens the door, and she smiles when she sees someone she knows Jesse Rosato. "Hey Jesse… and also to you as well, little Jordan." The 4 year old girl giggles. Michelle then calls out. "Lincoln, you're best friend is here."
Lincoln races down the stairs, and he smiles when he sees Jordan, and the two little kids go towards each other and hug it out. This adorable sight "awes" both Michelle and Jesse, though Jordan places a kiss onto the cheek of Lincoln and he giggles from this, they like each other.
Lincoln then asks. "Wanna go to the backyard and play?"
Jordan smiles and nods. "Sure!" Lincoln and Jordan hold hands and they head to the backyard, and the three pugs Sarah, Shawn and Steward go after them and play as well. The two mom's find this as the cutest thing they have ever seen, and they thought seeing baby Lincoln and Jordan playing was cute…. Never mind, that's still adorable.
Jesse then speaks. "Perhaps we should make them something good to eat?" Michelle nods and they both head to the kitchen, to make cookies. Then Jesse asks. "And where is your wife?"
"At work" replied Michelle. But in truth, Amanda is on patrol as Lady Ace. "She won't be back till later tonight, something about paper work. Leni is having a play date at her friend's house, and Luna is upstairs and with her best friend Sam."
Jesse nods, and then she sees the concerned look as Michelle looks out the window to see her son playing with his best friend, and then she asks. "Something wrong, Michelle?"
Michelle sighs and she explains. "Lincoln, he had this dream. A dream about some other girls, with his sisters and two grownups. No doubt, what he had was a memory from the past, a memory of the family he lost long ago." This surprises Jesse. Michelle nods. "Yeah, it seems like the time to tell him the truth is coming sooner than later. We didn't expect this to even happen."
Jesse Rosato goes over and helps calm down Michelle. "We could never quite understand what would come next for the little ones we're raising, but something like this is truly unexpected. But he is curious, and he might ask again. I think you will have to tell him along with the others, to break it down nice and slowly and then comfort him for when the heart breaking part comes. Be there for your little boy, he needs the mother he adopted, and his sisters and other mom."
Michelle thinks about this and she nods. "Yeah, you're right. Thanks for those words, I just… It will be hard for him, and there will be tears. But we gotta get through this and he needs to know the truth."
Jesse nods, and they look out the window and watch as Lincoln and Jordan continue to run around and play with each other. Michelle then chuckles and she asks. "I wonder when will the time come for Lincoln or Jordan to start crushing over each other."
Jesse also smirks. "I think my daughter has already developed that. She always wants to come by, visit and play with your son, and when she does come over and hugs and kisses his cheek. My husband and I can see that our little girl has a crush on your son, and I think it dates back to when they first met."
Michelle chuckles. "Oh man, Amanda will wanna hear this when she comes back home." The two women then proceed to make cookies for the kids.
Meanwhile, at the backyard. We see Little Lincoln and Jordan just running around, and being chased by the three Pugs. They then stop and lay down on the grass, and the Pugs also sit down around them and look around. Jordan then speaks. "You wanna go to the Park next time, Lincoln?"
Lincoln smiles hearing this. "That sounds like a fun idea; I can ask my mom's if it's alright." Then he recalls something and looks to his best friend. "I need to tell you this Jordan, I dreamt about my sister Leni and Lulu, and they were with these other three girls and these two grownups, but I don't know those other people. I told my mommy and my sisters, and my mommy and they said that they would tell me next time. Do you know what this might be?"
Jordan thinks about this. "I heard this from my mommy, she told me that sometimes when that happens, then it means it's a memory you forgot long ago. Sometimes our dreams are memories of something we forgot, and we might need to remember. I don't know what else is happening."
Lincoln is surprised and confused hearing this. "So, my mommy's would know what the dream was about?"
Jordan then scooches closer. "We might not know, Lincoln. They might tell you soon, we just don't know." She then stands up and holds Lincoln's hand and so they both share some laughs and look around the flower garden, with the pugs following them.
But this has Lincoln concerned and confused. 'When will they tell me about what my dreams are about? Are they really memories I forgot? Who were those other people?' Then Jordan kisses his cheek, and this makes him giggle and laugh and so Lincoln and Jordan continue to play together as the best of friends.
(Reality Break.)
Michelle Lewis wakes up, and she sees that she is in the living room, and the TV is off. She recalls, her kids are at sleepovers, and then she sees Amanda is snuggled up next to her on the couch, and this makes her smile and she kisses Amanda on the forehead.
Michelle then thinks about the dream she had. 'Dang, it's gonna be a painful thing for them, I know it will be very emotional, mostly for little Lincoln. Heh, he sure was a cute and curious little kid back then.'
A/N: Looks like little Lincoln is still curious about his dream, and only a matter of time before the others tell him the truth, and it's nice to see little Lincoln play with his best friend, Jordan. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
