Just as before, we got something going down and it ain't gonna be too good with the whole Liam ordeal. Lynn Jr. needs to figure this out, because this ain't just about the game! I wanna say thanks to "Marvelomac1010" for the concept to this chapter and many more to come. Enjoy reading this guys.

Chapter 527: The Big Baseball Game…

(March 2. Royal Woods Baseball Stadium.)

The baseball game is about to commence. The Royal Woods Middle School Kangaroos vs the Hazeltucky Hockers. We see the crowds of families watching this and even Liam's memaw is here with their pig Virginia. The Loud's and Lewis' also attend this game and cheer.

Amanda snaps some photos of this event. Lincoln whistles and cheers for Liam. Then he looks to Tabby and asks. "Tabby. You doing okay? Is something wrong?" he can see it in her eyes and same with Jordan.

Tabby then replies. "Linc… guys. Last week Liam sprained his throwing arm." That one makes Lincoln and Jordan wide eyed in shock and Tabby nods. "It's all true mates. I tried to tell him to take a break from the game, but he said he doesn't want to let the team down."

This makes Lincoln super concerned about this and something tells him it has something to do with Lynn Loud Jr. 'Did Lynn push Liam too far during training? Why does she not notice this?'

Meanwhile we see Lynn going towards her team at the benches and she sees Liam and she's concerned about letting him out there and play since she knows that he was not honest with her and Annabelle about something else wrong. Lynn goes towards Liam, and then speaks. "Liam. Sit this one out, we can let Paula…"

Liam stands up and he drinks his water and then he wipes his mouth and has a look of determination. "No need. I got this. We're gonna win this one ya'll!" the others feel motivated hearing this but it doesn't make Lynn and Annabelle happy. They watch as Liam heads into the game and with Lynn Jr. following to keep an eye on him and what will happen.

(Later.)

The game is still going and Liam has been doing an amazing job as the pitcher. His throws are hard and strong and the opposing team can't even get a good hit. Liam even helped when catching the ball and he throwing it to the others. But something is wrong, and they tend to see him rubbing his throwing arm, and this doesn't look good to the eyes of Lynn Loud Jr. she knows something is wrong.

Lynn keeps an eye out on Liam. She does see Lincoln doing some sign language about Liam. Lynn responds back and the translation of her sign language is….

"I don't know what to do! I want Liam to sit this out but he doesn't want to and I know that something happened to him. But he won't tell me!"

Then she sees Lincoln doing more sign language which the rest of the family notice and never knew he could do this. Lynn understood what his sign language is and she is shocked.

'He sprained his throwing arm last week?! What the heck Liam? Why didn't he even tell us? He can't play this game or…'

But it's too late and as Liam winds up for the pitch, his arm gives up and he's in pain. He does throw but it misses and bounces around all over the place and thus everyone takes cover from the incoming ricocheting baseball. Amanda Bright sees the ball and she catches it.

Lynn then yells. "I'm calling a time out!" so they take a break from this and Lynn drags Liam to the benches and the rest of the team gathers around to see what's going on. "Liam Honnicutt. You can't continue playing."

But then Liam protests. "No. I can do this. My arm is fine. Just need to pop back the bone and…" but he winces in pain and that makes them all gasp. Liam's arm is hurt and dislocated.

Lynn looks sternly at Liam. "And that's where I draw the line." She then takes his glove. "Liam, you are benched from the game. No ifs and no buts, do I make myself clear?"

Liam thinks of something to say. But now he sees there isn't anything he can do and he looks to his arm. "Alright. Alright Lynn. I'll stay here, and I am sorry for not being honest with ya. I just, didn't wanna screw this up and have the team lose." The others feel bad for him.

Lynn sighs. "It's not just about the game, Liam. We're a team, and I am not gonna let one of my team mates push themselves to the point of getting hurt." Lynn then looks to Annabelle. "You're going to have to be the pitcher for the rest of the game." Annabelle nods and she has her baseball glove and they head off to finish this game.

Pretty soon, the game continues and everyone watches as Annabelle C. McCann shows that she has an amazing throw and she manages to get three strikes done and then Lynn takes her shine as batter against the opposing pitcher.

They see Hazeltucky is now nervous and as soon as the ball is thrown. Lynn locks onto it and she swings her bat and the ball flies off at great speed outside of the park and the announcer yells. "A Home run! The Kangaroos win it!" Lynn cheers and runs around the bases and then she goes to her team and hugs them all.

Lynn then sees Liam go towards her. "Lynn. Sorry for not telling you about my arm. I sprained it when I was doing my own practices and kinda went too hard and pushed myself. I should've told y'all the truth."

Lynn goes over and she sees the cast on Liam's arm. "Hey. I did the right call because I am not letting my team push themselves and get hurt. But you did help us get the scores and beat the other side. Thanks for starting this game and helping us Cow Pie kid… also, I'm gonna have to cut you from other baseball games until the arm is patched up. Got it?"

Liam nods. "Got it Lynn." Then Tabby comes over and checks on Liam.

Lynn then speaks to Tabby. "Keep an eye on him, Tabby. Make sure he doesn't sprain himself again."

Tabby nods. "I'll keep a real close eye on him mate. Don't worry."

Everyone cheers and are happy that their team won. Lincoln and the others are glad seeing Lynn changed and being a responsible sports player and they look forward to seeing her doing this again and possibly whatever else in the far future.

A/N: Lynn made the right call and ensured her pitcher wasn't going to get seriously hurt. She truly has changed and I made some changes to make this a little bit different. I do hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter everyone.
