Warning! This is a non-Canon arc/movie. Do not try to keep track of numbers because things are not going to matter in the main storyline!

Tokyo, Azabu Juban. It was a lovely morning.

Yawning, a young girl is bolting around to get herself ready and pretty for school, a bright smile plastered all over her face as she knew today was going to be important.

Their science teacher had told them that they would have had a special lesson due to recent news of a unique phenomenon in the sky: a rain of stars!

It sounded so cool, and yet he didn't tell them much to not spoil the lesson so... Kayama Mika had a very good reason to turn up early for school. After saying bye to her mother before leaving, the girl happily bolted up to the Tsukino family's home to get her best friend at ready.

Tsukino Shingo was... yawning. A lot. Even more than she was before she was done getting prepared for the day. The boy was always tired, but she couldn't fault him due to his secret identity as a hero. It was so amazing to be friend with a real hero, but it was so weird to also feel worried about their safety all the time despite how strong he was.

"Morning, Shin-kun!"

The young blonde frowned a bit. "Morning, and that's a new nickname," He pointed out and the girl beamed. "So, what got you in a good mood, Mika-chan?"

"Today's lesson for Science. Can you believe it? A rain of stars! That sounds so awesome!"

The squeaky factor doubled within the topic, and the boy snorted. "Mika, it's not going to be anything special. Probably two stars passing by and then, once that's over, we will forget about it."

"Mou, Shin-kun's saying that because he has been doing a lot of cool stuff all the time," The girl argued flatly, then grinned. "Still, I think we should plan out a picnic with the others. I bet Lili-chan would be fine with it."

"Momo for sure. I will try to be there but... if there's stuff happening in the streets-"

"Don't even think about that!" Mika huffed, arms brought crossed to her chest. "You have to swear to me you'll be there."

Shingo snorted. "Fine. But-"

"No buts, you promised!"

The boy could only grumble, while Mika was happily taking charge of the walk to school with how giddy her pace was. The little brunette fixed her bag as they crossed the gates and walked up to their classroom.

Momohara Momoko, Momo-chan, was already sitting by her desk and chatting giddily with Lilim. The two girls paused to greet them as they all took their seats and enjoyed a relatively calm day at school...

Until it was Science time!

While Mika was more interested in making dolls that looking up at the stars, there was always something fascinating about the worlds beyond Earth. Her Grandpa had told her that there's definitely a lot of unseen for them humans, but Mika was more curious of the beautiful places than other people or creatures.

And as their sensei prepared a projector and got the few slides he was able to get from his scientist friend, the kids were soon mesmerized by what some of the most powerful telescopes in Tokyo had found: stars, so many of them- small, but it looked like a herd of tiny golden-colored fragments that zoomed into space.

"These, my dear students, are not mere stars, but 'Star Drops'. The new label comes from a recent research made on the sight a few weeks ago, and as these will soon pass close to our planets, it is fair to say that those are not big meteors that can cause damage. Those are droplets of a dying planet that are seemingly being moved around by an unknown force that may lead to new discoveries in the future."

Mika's eyes were fixed on the fragments. These Star Drops looked so cute! It almost felt like they were alive and, within her own unique gaze, she could tell their glow was different that other stars. It was... magical!

She could already tell, as everyone appeared just as amazed as she was, that the picnic was going to be...

Super cool!

"You want me to skip on the picnic?"

Ikari Yui gave me a sheepish look as she turned around while still sitting on her swivel chair. She had called for me to check on my little headquarters as Moon Knight as she had something important to tell me, for her to then drop on my lap that I may be forced on a hours-long patrol due to this phenomenon was... well, I wasn't that happy.

"Y-You know I am not trying to force you to miss it, but we can't ignore how wrong this 'star rain' is," Yui argued quietly. "While right now I can't say if it will be a passing thing or it may be the forewarning for something big, I can say one thing: the 'Star Drops' are... these are alive."

I frowned. "Alive? As if there's life in them or-"

"They are alive. The Drops are living entities."

That actually sounded very important.

"Do you think that these will try to plant on the planet like it happened with Metalia?" I asked, and Yui gave me a strange look.

"Maybe?" She asked back, unsure on the point. "Look, I am not saying it will go bad, but if these Drops will start to drain on the planet's energy to become planets altogether... this could be a problem."

"A big problem," I agreed quietly, looking away. "Still, I promised Mika I wouldn't skip on the picnic and, since we are playing on a lot of unknowns, I think I will go for a light patrol, then go at the picnic- one that you are also invited too."

"M-Me? But I am... busy."

I frowned. "With what?"

"...Homework."

"Liar, you already did the entire month's homework yesterday," I rebuked, causing Yui to blush a bit at being called out on such a silly thing. "Come on, being holed up in a place all day long is not the same as making friends. Didn't you tell me you wanted to give that a try?"

Biting her lower lip, the brunette looked unsure between pouting or scowling. She just resigned herself and nodded.

"F-Fine, but it better have some good cake- I like Nutella."

"Will try to get one baked for the picnic. Don't skip it or I will be really annoyed, Yui."

I soon left her to her chores, aware that I had my own to handle between regular patrolling, keeping an eye on my sister now that she could enjoy a break from the troubles of Season 1, and doing my own homework.

All in all, however, I didn't feel like something was going to happen with the star rain. I just have this gut feeling that... everything will be fine.
