Chapter 4: Twincool! Protect UMA and Siri!

Okinawa... just not ours.
Meta-wise, I could tell we were very far from home the moment I laid my eyes on three characters from the Precure Franchise. On a more 'ground-based' level, I would say that the telling sign was the lack of power levels. A detail that was quite damning evidence for the case of 'this is not just the future'.
Kuroto looked absolutely furious, but- "I remind you that if you allow any troublesome ideas get out of that mind of yours, any chance we may have to go back to our families will get closer to nothing. Behave, or I will punch you unconscious again."
Growling, the boy took to move away from the rest of the group as we all had moved out of the woods and to the nearest benches. I turned back to the other girls, expecting Hikaru and Lala to be hogging on poor Mika-
"Is it true that your sister is an alien~!?" The loud pinkette was currently giving me a flashing giddy look.
I blinked, taking a moment to study the situation. I turned to Mika, she had an awkward look on her face, and then I looked at Lala as she gave me a 'she is not bad' kind of glance. Also, I saw Fuwa playing with both Siri and UMA as we were talking about things.
Still...
"That's a bit reductive but... yeah?"
"That's so twincool~!" She squeaked, shaking in excitement. "Oh, tell me more!"
"Well, I could but... what does 'twincool' mean?"
Hikaru froze, I saw Lala's eyes widening as she shook her head but- it was too late.
Suddenly reaching for my hands and squeezing in hers, Hikaru gave me a super-serious look.
"Twincool is the core of our determination- no, of our imagination! You see, Shingo-kun, we that believe into the oddest things need to stick together, hence why my father told me: 'if you find reason of joy in your search for the mystery, then you shall say Twincool!' Do you get it now? I can sense it, a true believer!"
...
Okay, I want to say she is being a bit too weird but... I could sense it!
"I think I do... so... Twincool?"
"Twincool!"
I grinned at the strangely infectious excitement. "Twincool!"
"TWINCOOL!" "TWINCOOL!"
Okay, I have to admit this is growing on me very fast~.
Lala sighed loudly at the sight, while Mika giggled together with Fuwa while... the two Star Drops approached. It was easier to discern who was UMA and who was Siri, the former 'older' than the latter.
After that brief interaction with Hikaru, I turned to the two Stardrops and focused on Siri.
"So, Siri... why did you take us here?" I asked calmly, trying to make sense on the reason motivating this dimensional shift.
After all, from what I could remember, the Star Drops in this 'movie' could only shift within their core dimension- this was a complete improvement to their known feats! What truly unnerved me, however, was the fact that I could not read their stats. It was an odd detail, but one that worried me a lot considering they were living beings and I couldn't 'read their power'.
It was as if the Game didn't recognize them as such for some reason - or perhaps it was their limbo-like status as 'proto-stars' that made them appear as 'world elements' rather than outright individuals.
Still, Siri screeched softly for a moment, floating closer to me and... headbutting against my forehead. It didn't hurt, but it was sudden enough to make me pull back the very moment it crashed onto me. I frowned and-
Sorry... Papa.
I blinked. "P-Papa?"
"Heh? What? Did you just-"
"I can hear Siri now," I pointed out and everyone approached the scene. "Still... why?"
Mean... people... hunting... sister... me.
"You two were being hunted?" I guessed, getting everyone to tense up at this development.
Yes... hunt... scary... split... find... help... found... you... Mika-mama... Kuroto-papa.
...
"Did you just call Kuroto 'papa' too?"
"That ain't happening!" The half-demon exclaimed loudly as he marched up to my side. "I am no one's dad. Especially that thing!"
Siri deflated almost instantly, and I sighed.
"Siri, don't listen to Kuroto. Right now he is feeling cranky since he got beaten up by me, and we are stranded."
"T-That's not-"
"I will smack you unconscious again if I have to," I warned the white-haired boy. "And trust me, I will do that if it means you don't do anything stupid."
As I finished saying this, I took notice of the confused looks coming from Hikaru and Lala.
"Aren't you two friends-lun?" The bluette asked and I shook my head.
"More like he is my B-Tier villain-"
"I am your archnemesis!" Kuroto growled and I frowned at him.
"Name one time you actually had me defeated?"
He opened his mouth and he shut it. "T-That's not a requirement-"
"But you still lost soudly just recently," I rebuked and turned back to the girls. "Still, he is a bit of a 'pseudo-rival'. His dad owns a baddish organization and he works for him."
"I... don't think I get it."
"Shin-kun and I are friends," Mika tried to help. "Kuroto-kun is a dummy."
Kuroto opened his mouth and... he scoffed and looked away. "I am not dumb."
This calmed things down but-
"Still, if Siri is not exaggerating, it means that there are folks after the Star Drops," I pointed out, turning to the two Precures. "Girls, we need your group fully united for those that are still hunting UMA and Siri."
Hikaru and Lala shared a look and nodded as they guided us to where the other Precures were located. From what I remembered of this movie, two of their friends had come here in Okinawa to enjoy a school trip and their fifth member was 'playing tag' with a police dog-girl.
Rushing out of the park and towards the near town, we were suddenly stopping at the sight of people falling down unconscious before our own eyes. Mika almost tripped on herself as she dropped on her knees, holding her chest.
"W-What is going on?" Hikaru asked in shock as we all went to check on the girl but-
"Oh... so there are some strong humans here too," A new voice hummed from the side and we all turned to see six humanoids standing on top of... nothing? No, the starship dropped out of its invisible camouflage as the group appeared. "I guess this isn't going to be a simple job, heh... robo-butt?"
I blinked, my eyes scanning rapidly at each of those potential troublemakers.
Alien Hunter - Gyro III Lv. 25
Alien Hunter - Burn Lv. 25
Alien Hunter - Dive Lv. 25
Alien Hunter - Hydro Lv. 25
Alien Hunter - Chop Lv. 25
The first five were supposedly those foes from the movie and they were 'weak sauce' after all-
So... who is the sixth guy?! And why do I hear the SAM boss fight theme?!
Combat Retriever Garrun
LV. 60
HP: 90000/90000
"Bzzt! Scanning threat!" Garrun muttered, the robotic humanoid focusing first on the girls. "Imaginarium sources detected! Bzzt, scanning!" Then it turned to look at Kuroto and I... and took a fighty stance. "Warning! Detected Unfamiliar source of energy from the young males. Caution is advised!"
"It doesn't matter, we shall take care of these brats before- uh?"
Right as the fire-type Alien Hunter readied his companions for the fight, quite an interruption came in the form of a small starship appearing between us and the hostile ship.
"Alien Hunters, this is Agent Mary Ann of the Starry Sky Police! You are strictly forbidden to operate on Earth!" Despite the warning having no effects of the threat, it created a distraction for three figures to join up with Hikaru and Lala: the rest of the Precures had joined up and they all transformed fast.
I had expected them to waste a few minutes in it, but I was surprised when they were instantly transformed and-
They looked ready to fight as they each took to brawl against each of the Alien Hunters. Mary Ann had her ship landed and rushed to check on the Star Drops, Mika and Fuwa. With most of the opponents claimed by the magical girls, the unusual robotic boss turned to us.
"Bzzt! I shall dispose of the two anomalies at once, then assist my companions in retrieving the precious treasures."
"Like hell you are! I am taking the tin can," Kuroto growled, darkness oozing from his body, and I sighed as I switched to my Moon Knight form.
"We both are. This is a tough guy."
"If you say so," He grinned. "Once again, collaborating to face some idiot that can see the true value of our alliance.."
"More like two good papas protecting our baby star," I hummed much to his brief chagrin, and I glanced over my shoulder to see Mika following the space police girl with Fuwa and the two Star Drops. "Let's get over with it fast."
Kuroto chuckled at my serious words, then bolted after Garrun, with me trailing fast behind him.
This did sound like a tough fight truth be told but... I wasn't alone in facing this robotic bastard!
AN
The battle for the Star Drops has thus began!
