Kneesocks stepped out of the shower, knowing today was her first day at Casper High. After making sure her hair was dry enough, she brushed it as Scanty walked in.
"It's all yours," Kneesocks said, not usually bothered by her sister's actions.
Scanty undressed and started the shower. Kneesocks soon headed for their room, slipping on her namesakes, and putting on her suit. However, her mind went back to the boy they spoke to yesterday.
"Danny...why does that boy feel so different compared to most humans?" She asked.
Try as she might, that boy was just too mysterious. And that was meeting for the first time. There must be more about that boy that was too much to ignore.
"Sister?"
Kneesocks looked up, seeing Scaty walk into the room, a towel wrapped around her.
"Sorry, Sister. I got lost in thought." Kneesocks said, throwing some panties at her, along with a suit.
"Lost in thought? When are you lost in thought?" Scanty asked, getting dressed.
"That boy. I can't shake how different he is compared to the others." Kneesocks said, walking around their room.
"How so?" Scanty asked, buttoning up her suit.
Kneesocks was very unsure. But she did know that Danny went to Casper High. There should be a good chance she could find some answers there.
"For now, sister. Let us get ready for our new school." Kneesocks said, deciding to place the idea on hold for now.
Scanty looked confused but understood her sister's reason. She didn't understand why Kneesocks was so focused on the boy, but she decided to find out later.
Casper High,
Taking up their human disguises once more, Scanty and Kneesocks found Casper High, surprised at how small it was compared to Daten High.
"This is a school?" Scanty asked, frowning.
"Deal with it, Shelly. Not all schools are like Daten High." Kneesocks said.
Scanty groans before both sisters enter the school. Despite being smaller, the hallways at least looked the same. It didn't take them long to find the principal offices and get their classes. As they went to find their lockers, they heard something close by.
"Guess what time it is, Fenton?"
"Time for you to get to class before you're kicked off the team?"
Scanty and Kneesocks watch as they see Danny scoffing at the sight of a larger one with blonde hair. The larger boy even glared at the boy for his remark.
"Oh yeah?" He said, grabbing Danny before stuffing him in a locker.
"HA!" Dash laughs, closing it before heading off to class.
Kneesocks didn't like that. It was clear that Danny had put up with him many times and that boy didn't stop. She walked up to the locker and unlocked it. Danny blinked when he saw Kelly opening the locker.
"Are you okay?" She asked, helping him out.
"Yeah. Thanks." Danny said, seeing Shelly step up.
"Oh, right! You girls are coming here now. I completely forgot." Danny said, remembering their meeting yesterday.
"What that's moron deal?" Scanty asked.
"Dash? He's been like that. He part of a group known as the A-Listers. They, in short, run this school. Though it's more of an excuse to pick on people that not part of their group." Danny said.
"And the teachers don't stop them?" Kneesocks asked.
"HA! Like the teachers care about us lesser students! In their eyes, the A-Listers are perfect students. No matter how much trouble they get in, they are let off with a warning. Every. Single. Time." Danny told them.
Now that didn't sound right to them. Scanty and Kneesocks are different from most demons. They care very much about the rules and want order on Earth. It made them the oddballs of their kind, but it was how they were.
The bell rang and Danny knew what that meant.
"Great. We're late. And I'm going to get detention again." Danny groans.
Scanty and Kneesocks looked at each other. Maybe they could help him out.
"Come on and follow our lead," Kneesocks said, pushing Danny down the hall/
"Huh? But..." He started.
"Trust us, it's time this school remember some of the rules they have to follow," Scanty added.
Class,
Mr. Lancer looks at the clock, seeing that three of his students were late. Through, he expected better from Mr. Fenton. He heard the door and saw the three students enter.
"Mr. Fenton, you're late. Detention." He said.
"Mr. Lancer, I..." Danny wanted to say before Kneesocks spoke up.
"Danny was helping us get to class." She said.
"Yeah, we got lost. Cut him some slack." Scanty added.
"Is that true, Mr. Fenton?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"Um, yes?" Danny said, unsure.
"Plus, he had a reason for being late. Other than helping us." Scanty said.
"What do you mean?" Mr. Lancer asked.
"Before coming here, we noticed that boy there, stuffing Danny into a locker because he didn't like how he was treating him," Kneesocks said, pointing to Dash.
"Mr. Baxter?" Mr. Lancer asked, confused.
"Indeed, the handbook of school rules says, bullying is not welcome among students. All means of mistreatment must be stopped by a teacher. NO MATTER who they are." Scanty said, confusing everyone.
"There's a handbook?" Tucker asked.
"And why do you roll your R's" Sam added.
"Ms...?
"Daemon." The sisters said.
"Ms. Deamons, even if that is true, Mr. Baxter scored the winning point in last night's game. Therefore he's..." Mr. Lancer said.
"Desevre detention no matter what his reason is." The sisters said, cutting him off.
"What?"
"Bullying is a crime. Crime is not welcome among your students. If it's not dealt with, then it could ruin your school to great lengths." Scanty said.
"In other words, Danny has solid reasons why he was late, and we have a solid reason to believe that "Mr. Baxter" was the reason for his lateness," Kneesocks added.
"And if you think being paid to look the other way is going to make things better, it's not. Bullying is not welcome in any school and you know it." Scanty said.
"Plus, think about what would happen if this kind of treatment got out?" Kneesocks added.
"It would ruin the school forever and you will be dealing with tons of upset parents and lawsuits that you'll never be able to pay off," Scanty said, crossing her arms.
"So, do your job right and you're avoid all that. Got that?" Kneesocks added.
Mr. Lancer looked shocked. He didn't think about what would happen if this did get out to people outside of Amity Park. And he didn't think that there would be parents that would sue the school for the mistreatment. Taking a breath, he knew what he had to do.
"Very well. Mr. Fenton. You don't have detention anymore." He said, tearing the slip.
Everyone was completely shocked. They were even more shocked when Mr. Lancer turned to Dash.
"However, Mr. Baxter I better see you for detention for bullying Mr. Fenton." He said.
"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted.
"But Mr. Lancer! I score the winning point of last night's game." Dash tried to say.
"Even so, stuffing a student inside the locker to make them late is a very bad example to set." Mr. Lancer said.
Scanty and Kneesocks smiled at each other and secretly high-fived each other. Danny just turned to look at them before sighing.
"Thanks." He said.
Kneesocks was surprised. They were never thanked for their actions. She felt her face warm up, almost losing her disguise. Luckily, she was able to hold it.
"Y-You're welcome." She said, shyly.
Mr. Lancer had the three take their seats. Kneesocks could feel her heart beating in her chest. She was thanked for her actions. It felt nice. Something that never even Corset did. What is with that boy? And why did she feel so happy?
And done. I've been in a bit of a mess yesterday. I was trying to update and write a new story at the same time. I even did a bit of this before I called it a night. I do hope everyone changes their clocks too. It's Daylight Saving Time now.
Well, Kneesocks is finding herself drawn to Danny for some reason, and is even more drawn after being thanked for her help. And Scanty and Kneesocks pointed out the things that could happen if the teachers keep ignoring the bullying in the school. Now, I'll try to make the next chapter cover Jazz meeting the Daemon Sisters in their human disguise. And after that, I'll have everyone meet them in their demon forms. Hopefully, things will go smoothly next time.
