(Two weeks passed since her therapy session with Dr. Lindstrom and it was a raining mess outside. It was late around ten, her and Fin was in her office discussing a case. They had finally closed the Maggie case and it had taken a toll on her.)

Fin: Hey how you feeling Liv?

Olivia: Exhausted, but happy that Maggie was reunited with her parents.

(She leaned back and grabbed hold of the compass around her neck.)

Fin: (looks at her) What's with the necklace? I noticed it a few months ago, but I've seen you do that almost everyday.

Olivia: It was a gift.

Fin: (arch his eyebrow) Your holding out on me Captain.

Olivia: (chuckle) Elliot gave it to me.

Fin: Ohhhh, how nice. So how is things between you two?

Olivia: Well he's been under for six months so.. We might have had a moment that night he picked up Noah, but like I told him, I was ready.

Fin: And now?

Olivia: I'm considering it. You know I asked him what was the purpose of the compass.

Fin: And what he say?

Olivia: To lead me to happiness.

Fin: So have you found it?

Olivia: I think I have, and I'm going to try like hell to find out.

Fin: Well just know I'm here and I got you back.

Olivia: (smiles) Thanks Fin! I can always count on you to have my back.

Fin: Yeah, it was Elliot who was too busy watching your back side.

Olivia: (laughs) God you are never going to let that go huh.

Fin: Nope, beside it's fun teasing him about it.

Olivia: I still can't believe you said that out loud.

(She sits and her mind wonders to Elliot.)

Fin: You miss him?

Olivia: I do, I haven't heard from him and it worries me not knowing.

Fin: I'm sure he's fine Liv, you know Elliot.

Olivia: Yeah, but he can be reckless at times.

Fin: Only when it comes to you.

(At that moment her phone rings.)

Olivia: Whatever! Hello!

Ayanna: Captain Benson?

Olivia: Yes, this is she.

Ayanna: (voice breaks) Hi, this is Sergeant Bell from OCCU, you're the only contact for Elliot Stabler in case of emergencies.

Olivia: (heart race) What's going on?

Ayanna: Elliot was shot multiple times during his undercover operation.

Olivia: Oh my god! Where?

(She tells her the hospital.)

Fin: Liv what is it?

Olivia: I'm on my way.

(Olivia hangs up and grabs her purse and keys.)

Fin: Liv what's going on?

Olivia: (voice breaks) Elliot been shot.

Fin: I'll drive.

(He takes her keys and they race towards the elevators. As they wait to get to the main floor, tears escape and she wipes them.)

Olivia: God dammit Elliot.

Fin: He's going to be alright.

Olivia: She said he was shot multiple times Fin.

(They get off and run to her SUV and Fin drives to the hospital. Olivia is sitting in the passenger seat fidgeting with her fingers. The tears won't stop falling and her chest feels like it will explode. They pull up to the hospital and she jumps out before it comes to a complete stop. They walk in and she ask where he is as Ayanna was walking towards them. Olivia face was flushed and tears stained, as she follow her.)

Ayanna: Captain Benson?

Olivia: Sergeant Bell, any updates?

Ayanna: No, we been waiting for an hour.

Olivia: What happened?

Ayanna: He was shot trying to save two teenage girls. He managed to step in front of the bullets before they were hurt.

Olivia: (wipe her face) Oh god! Are the girls ok?

Ayanna: Yeah, thanks to Elliot.

(They make it to the OR floor and she sees the rest of his squad there. She stands off to the side as she wait for a doctor.)

Olivia: I don't want him going under anymore.

Ayanna: That's really not up to you.

Olivia: I out rank him and you, so I think it is up to me.

Ayanna: But he is my detective.

Olivia: Yeah, but he's...

(Fin sees an argument about to start and goes to stand in front of Liv.)

Fin: Liv, now is not the time.

Olivia: (takes a breath) Your right, I'm sorry Sergeant Bell.

Ayanna: I get it trust me.

Olivia: Has his kids and mother been contacted?

Ayanna: Yeah, they are on the way.

Olivia: Bernie is going to have a fit.

(They sit and wait for a few more minutes, until Olivia gets fed up.)

Olivia: (gets up) I can't do this.

Fin: Liv?

Olivia: I need to know what's going on.

Fin: Liv?

Olivia: Don't Fin ok.

(She walks off and bust through the double doors. As she disappears, Ayanna turns to Fin with an expression on her face.)

Ayanna: She is just as stubborn as he is.

Fin: Hey, I've worked with them both and let me tell you, this is just minimal. Those two kept our old Captain on his toes, but they have always had each others back.

Ayanna: Well I hope they confess they feelings sooner rather than later.

Fin: Agreed.

(They were just talking when they heard footsteps and voices. Fin looks over and sees his kids and mother with scared looks on their faces. Just as they made their way over, Olivia came through the doors.)

Kathleen: Olivia?

Olivia: Kathleen hey sweetie.

(She throws herself into the older woman's arms.)

Maureen: Is dad going to be ok?

Dickie: The nurses wouldn't tell us anything.

Lizzie: What happened?

Eli: Is it bad?

Bernie: Where my son?

Olivia: (exhaled) Your father is in surgery right now. He's been shot multiple times and they are doing everything they can to remove the bullets. He lost a lot of blood but he is stable just needed some extra blood, that's why I was back for so long.

Bernie: I told him I had a bad feeling about this.

(Olivia hugs his kids and made sure that they knew that their father was going to be ok. She called Lucy to let her know what was going on, and she was to stay with Noah. Two hours passed and everyone was losing their minds and prayed he pulls through.)
