"SON PLEASE WAKE UP!! SONN!!!"

I was startled awake and was relieved to see my father kneeling beside me.

"Oh thank Arceus!"

He held me tightly and I turned to see Ryu hugging his daughter Luce beside us. It took me a few seconds to remember where we were and realized Yuna was not here with us.

"DAD! HE TOOK YUNA!"

"Who did?!"

"That UMBREON we saw a couple of weeks ago. He attacked her and when we came to help her he knocked us out and he must have taken her with him!! Who knows what he's doing to her!!! Please get her back dad!"

"Damn it!"

My father helped me up and turned to Ryu pleadingly. I turned to him as well, nearly close to sobbing, if my dad had not been holding me.

"If I use my aura now I might be able to find a trace of where he might have gone and we can follow it."

"Do anything Ryu! When I find him, he will pay for taking Yuna away from us!!!"

"Let's find him then old buddy."

Ryu's eyes glowed an angry blue and red as I felt a powerful wave of aura emanating from his body. He pointed in the direction leading away from the city and even Luce turned to see it as well.

"Yuna we're coming for you."

My eyes slowly readjusted and my head ached as if I had been asleep for a long time. I looked out the window and was surprised to see very little light and nothing but trees as far I could see from the floor. I tried to get up and I saw my legs and wrists we're bound. No matter how much I tried to get loose I was tightly bound.

"Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey little bitch."

I flinched fearfully as Umbreon knelt down mere inches away from me and mockingly booped my nose.

"You ain't going nowhere. Instead we're going to play a little game."

"What game?"

"It's called the "burn to a fiery death to devastate daddy until the end of his days game."

"No...Noooooo-umph!"

He tied a blindfold around my mouth tuning out the sounds of my screams.

"And the best part is you win the game as long as you don't scream."

He said before lighting a match and setting the doorway on fire.

"I won't get to see you perish but I know the unheard cries will be nothing but sweet deaf music to my ears."

I screamed as loud as I possibly could as he walked out without a care in the world. Laughing as I sobbed quietly and yelled to myself.

I fought to sit up and I kept falling as I tried to back away from the flames. I felt the edge of the fire get closer with every passing minute and coughed as the smoke began to rise.

"Mmmrph!! Koff! Koff!"

I rolled against the wall and managed to sit up against the window wanting the last thing I see to be nature itself and accepting my fate.

"YUNA!!!"

My ears rose as I heard the voice of my dad. I tried to shout back in response but I could hardly utter out a whisper at best. To my relief he appeared in the doorway and placed down a blanket to pass through the flames to get to me.

"Yuna!"

"Mmph!"

He picked me up and ran with me to the safety of the trees outside. He set me down in the grass and worked fast to unbound me. Once he freed me and I could speak again, I flung my arms around him and sobbed loudly into his chest.

"DADDDDDYYYYYYYY! I WAS SO SCARED!!!! I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO DIE!!!"

"Shhh Shh I know Yuna...I thought I had lost you... Shh Shh it's okay baby...daddy's here..."

I sobbed as my father held me closely, trembling slightly but reassuring me I was safe now.

"YUNNNAAAA!"

I sniffed and turned to see Yin running towards us with Uncle Ryu and Luce behind them. Yin tackled us both into a hug crying loudly as he held us close.

"Oh Arceus I was so scared for you Yuna!!! Are you okay sister?!"

"I'm not Yin...but I'm happy you two are both here..."

Yin sobbed and I sobbed as I hugged both him and my father.

"I'll take you guys home. And make sure the monster that did this is caught! I guarantee it."

Ryu dropped Luce back at their house before taking the three of us back home. Only when we got there we all gasped in horror to see our apartment complex on fire. Dad burst outside looking for mother and Vivi and we followed closely after them. And when he didn't see them he ran into the burning apartment to get them out.

"DAD!"

"STAY OUTSIDE AND DON'T FOLLOW US! JUST STAY HERE AND FOCUS ON KEEPING EACH OTHER SAFE!"

"But Ryu?!"

"LISTEN TO ME AND STAY HERE PLEASE!"

"Yes sir. But hurry please!"

Ryu nodded before taking off after dad into the fiery apartment while me and Yin stayed on the sidewalk never once letting go of each other's paws.

"EVE!!!! VIVI!"

I kicked open the door of our apartment and I flinched slightly as a wave of inferno bursted out through the doorway. I sucked a quick breath before running through the door, screaming for my wife and daughter.

"EVE! VIVI! WHERE ARE YOU?!"

"SILVER!"

"EVE!"

I pulled open the downstairs closet to find my wife and daughter huddled close together fearfully underneath the small safety of her Protect.

"ARE YOU TWO OKAY?!"

"YES LET'S GO!"

Eve disarmed her attack and I picked up Vivi, and we headed out together. We only made it about 5 feet before the piece of the roof collapsed and I tossed Vivi away as it fell on me and started burning me.

"AUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH! PUT IT OUT! IT HURTS!!!"

"SILVER!"

"NO EVE! DON'T SAVE ME! Aauuuggghhhhh! GET VIVI OUT OF HERE! AAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"I AM NOT LEAVING YOU BEHIND!"

Eve used her ribbons and pulled against the fallen roof with all her might even though it was burning her as well.

"LEAVE ME EVE! AHHHHHHHH!!"

"SILVER!!!"

Ryu bursted through the doorway and helped Eve pull the roof off me. I couldn't walk because of the burns so Ryu picked me up and Eve picked up Vivi as we all ran out of the building together.

The last thing I remember is getting outside and my kids screaming my name before I passed out from the pain and the smoke.
