~Yuna

~June 8th, 2575

I could hardly put into words about how terrible I feel about everything that has happened. My own flesh and blood nearly killed me, I put myself and both Yin and Luce in great danger, and my dad is suffering the most thanks to my lack of judgement.

How could a Pokémon be capable of something so horrendous and monstrous? And what's worse he looks almost exactly like me. Let's just say the events made me question if I made the right choice and I was starting to regret my evolution. Of course Yin tried to provide me some comfort but I still cried quietly at night about it. I told my boyfriend as much I felt like I could share and he was being very understanding. I'm glad I had someone like him in my corner.

I felt like I needed some closure from another member of the family. Not just to feel like I made the right choice about myself, but to feel like I still belong and I'm not a disappointment or something or I don't know...

I slipped on a hoodie and walked down the hall to head out to my grandparents. When I heard my dad groaning in pain from where my parents slept. I peeked through the small crack behind the door and listened in on him and mum.

"Agggh!!!"

"I'm sorry dear. I know it hurts but just a little bit longer."

She was spraying some Burn Heal onto his back and it looks like it stung a great deal. He was trying to be strong I could tell but it was proving difficult.

"Urk I know! Agh! Arceus at least I don't have to be working right now. Agh!"

"Okay one more spray and then I'll rub in some crushed herbs to exfoliate the damaged skin."

"Why bother darling? I'm probably going to have a permanent scar on my back after I'm fully healed."

"Because I care about you getting better and taking care of your skin! When you're in pain I feel your pain! And I want to do everything to make sure you are no longer in pain!"

My mum yelled a little over emotionally at him but I could not blame her. After what happened she has every right to be worrying about all of us. My father held his down in defeat and he let her finish applying the healing herbs on his burn scar.

The rest of dad's limbs were all covered with heavy bandages and my mum changed it for him everyday since the fire. She had to apply crushed herbs onto his back because it had severely damaged his skin and left a mark.

He sighed in relief after she finished applying it and let her wrap the bandages around his back and shoulders. As if she had done it a hundred times over before.

"There. You're all set now honey."

"Thank you baby."

My father replied as he put his button up shirt back on over the bandages. She absentmindedly put her paw on his back as if she was still worried about him. Of course he noticed and he turned to face her in concern.

"Darling?"

"Yes? Silver?"

My dad smiled warmly at her and cupped her face gently in his paw.

"I'm going to be alright."

"I know. I just...I was so scared about you...and our kids putting themselves in danger...I never wanted them to repeat our mistakes...I just want my babies to always be safe...But I can't coddle them because as someone who experienced it with my own family...I know it's miserable...I want them to be happy and let them learn from their own mistakes...but I'm their mother I can't help but worry..."

"We can guide them but not interfere to the point where it's overwhelming. I admit though I do worry myself. I worry if we raised our kids well and if our past won't come back to hurt them. Especially after what happened to Yuna because of that son of a bitch."

My father let out a guttural growl at the mere mention of him and clenched one of his paws into a tight fist. My mother wiped away her unshed tears and placed a paw on his face. He was lost in a infuriated trance until he heard the sound of her voice in concern.

"Honey?"

My mother looked at him knowingly, the emotions seeming to flip between them in mere seconds. His anger melted away and he started shaking as if he had been keeping something bottled away inside for too long.

"I was terrified."

I froze as my dad put his paws on his face and started sobbing.

"Eve, I was so scared for our everyone's safety! Yuna running for her life, and both Yin and Luce getting hurt because of him!! We nearly lost Yuna in the process and to make matters worse he tried to kill you and Vivi next because he wanted to!!! Ryu told me according to the fire department they found a large amount of traces of gasoline right outside our front door, so the two of you could not escape...That's why he was fucking there that day, he was scoping out our home and wanted to make sure you two died!!!!"

My father turned to my mother his eyes dripping wet with tears and she could barely hold back tears herself.

"I NEARLY LOST MY ENTIRE FAMILY IN JUST ONE NIGHT! IT FELT LIKE MY HEART WAS GETTING CRUSHED OVER AND OVER AGAIN!! THAT I COULDN'T KEEP MY FAMILY SAFE AND I DESERVE THIS...And yet...you tried to save me even when I told you to take Vivi and save yourselves...Even though it's crazy to say I'm glad you stayed because I would have died...without ever seeing my loved ones again...Arceus I'm not making any sense... I never want it to happen again...I thought I lost all of you..."

"Silver babe. Look at me."

My mother cupped dad's face and forced him to look at her.

"You are reckless but you have the biggest heart out of all of us. You did your best to get us all to safety and you saved our lives. I say you care so much that you would always do what is best for us. Best for the kids. Best for me. You don't deserve what happened and I wouldn't want anything like this to happen again either. I was scared too. But deep down I knew we would all get through it because we have you."

My father continued to tear up and it was breaking my mum's heart to see him like this.

"Arceus you love us so much baby. You will always do whatever it takes to get us out of harms way. That's what I love so much about you. And so do the kids. I'm sure they know it. That you let us know you love us everyday. And they love you too and we all will continue to love each other forever."

"I- *sniff* *sob* *sniff* I-I love you so much Eve."

"I love you too my Silver."

They embraced each other tightly not letting go and sitting there in each other's company for about 5 minutes before they pulled apart. She wiped away the tears out of his eyes and they nuzzled each other cheek to cheek and let out a quiet growl of affection.

It only took one glance, and in seconds they started kissing each other passionately. I left feeling a slight warmth in my chest and so they can have some privacy.
