Chapter 32
"You want to start jogging?" Naruto asked confused and a little surprised at the revelation. Ino giggled at the surprise in his voice as she kicked her legs up and down on her rising sit.
Ino had taken Naruto to a park and convinced him to push her on the swings, many younger kids were looking at the two ninjas in awe, they could tell they were ninjas from their forehead protectors. The kids around the two genins age and a bit older watched on in jealousy. The boys because they thought Ino was hot and should be theirs. The girls because they thought Naruto was hot and should be theirs.
"I've been jogging for the past month Naruto-Kun." Ino informed him when she was on his level again.
"Ohh." Naruto simply said as he pushed her up again.
"Did you think these thighs you like so much now, were a miracle from the sixth path? Mama had to work for these babies?" Ino teased when she returned to the lower grounds and Naruto grinned stopping her swing while bending a little to whisper in her ears.
"Can I bite when we're doing it?" Naruto asked and Ino blushed red misreading his words.
"W-when we d-do it?" She repeated and Naruto nodded biting her ear like he always did even back in the academy.
"Go-Goldie-K-Kun!" Ino blushed so hard that their young audience in the distance saw it.
"We ugh can't do it yet, Goldie I am not ready." Ino admitted her words were a stuttering mess and Naruto got confused.
"But you said we should jog together, what are you not ready for?" Naruto asked. Ino was happy he couldn't see her face blush for a whole new reason.
"Ah nothing, nothing!!" Ino scrambled to her feet and walked away from Naruto cursing the day she had 'the talk'. With her parents when they thought she and Naruto were a couple.
'The birds and bees took my innocence.' Ino cried inwardly and when Naruto abruptly brought his face in front of her she almost jumped.
"Hey, you okay Sunshine?" Naruto questioned his girlfriend who he noticed was being awfully suspicious.
"Let's go sit down next to the lake." Ino told him as she practically ran to said lake. Naruto only laughed and ran after her.

"Is that not Naruto and Ino?" Amy stopped walking as she and the rest of the gang which was made up of Amy, Shikamaru, Choji, Sakura, Kiba, and Shino stopped on their track to see what Amy was pointing at
Down below Ino was sitting on the edge of the wooden platform on the lake splashing her feet in the water. Laying with his head on her lap as he spoke animatedly was the blonde enigma himself Naruto Uzumaki.
"They are so cute!" Amy squealed feeling happy for her friend. Ino laughed so many times just in the few seconds of watching them interact that Amy could only imagine the conversation they were having.
Sakura saw the scene and always thought the same thought. Why couldn't she have that as well? well her prayers would be answered today
"Yosh!" Sakura jumped at the voice it was definitely loud. "Pink-haired lady please be my wife!" The voice screamed again not a second later enticing Sakura to look to the source, so when she found it she was kinda surprised by the person's well, everything.
"Yosh I will strive to win your heart beautiful lady! If I can not do that I will do 5 thousand pushups if I cannot do that I will do 10 thousand sit-ups and if I cannot do that..." A boy with shiny black hair, round eyes, prominent lower eyelashes with very thick eyebrows ranted on.
"The failures are always the loudest." Neji said in a conniving tone and the boy who spoke before frowned.
His hair was in a bowl-cut style; he wore a green jumpsuit, orange leg warmers, and a red forehead protector worn as a belt. He has bandages around his forearms up to his fingers.
"Neji-San, you once told me that a loser cannot change his fate!" The bowl-cut boy boasted with a 'nice guy smile'. "And yet your cousin has proven you wrong, her flames of youth burn bright and one day I will defeat you my rival!!" The centipede eyebrow boy said with optimistic enthusiasm and a big smile that he somehow always knew where to position to make it sparkle. Sakura had to avert her eyes and so did most of her friends next to her due to the brightness, Shino was prepared.
"That's the spirit, Lee! Let your flames burn with the power of YOUTH!" Another older version of Lee said even louder with a voice boasting with passion and optimism.
"Guy Sensei I found my future wife!" Lee shouted with all his youth and Sakura heard some snickers behind her the most prominent was Kiba.
"Uhm Excuse me." Sakura tried.
"Your youth is even more refined than mine Lee, it knows with a great woman anything is possible!!" The older version said ignoring Sakura and crying manly tears for his younger version.
"Excuse me." Sakura was already tired of trying but these creatures because they couldn't be humans were bringing too many eyes on her. The Konoha public liked a good scoop it was a close-knit community if you removed all the ninjas around.
"Gai-Sensei!" The boy cried out and Sakura saw Hinata's cousin Neji and a female she remembered from a year ahead of them in the academy grimace.
"Lee!" The Older man said and that was when something peculiar happened.
The waves crashed on the orange-tinted shores of a beach. The sunset in the background was great its gaze compelling you, it couldn't be ignored but how do you enjoy such beauty when something so disturbing was happening in front of it?
"I SAID EX-CUUUZZZ ME!!!" Sakura shrieked and the illusion broke, it completely disappeared. The onlookers cursed their curiosity because they saw something even more disturbing, some even throwing up their breakfast at the scene.
Without the sunset, that scene was disturbing enough that Guy knew it could possibly traumatize that's why he used an unbreakable Genjutsu in the first place.
The genjutsu is from Iwa the only elemental nation with great beaches and shores. The sunset scene is what Iwa is known for. The beautiful scene is used for their ninja when under strenuous physical and mental fatigue casting the genjutsu on themselves reminds them of home and what they were fighting for.
"Yosh! Guy-Sensei! The sunset!" Lee realized, but Guy who cast the jutsu was wide-eyed, mouth agape, and looking like behind Lee's shoulder was the Shinigami himself but it was just the pink-haired Sakura.
"Get off the little boy bro." Everybody turned to see Naruto and Ino walking up to them side by side they were bare feet but Ino had both their shinobi sandals in her arms.
"Oh, it's your kid?" Sakura heard Kiba groan at the follow-up, Shikamaru was the one who suggested the park so he had already moved on to a shady area made himself comfortable and began cloud-watching, Choji was right behind him.
"What are you guys doing here Sakura?" Ino asked hidden at Naruto's side to not see the scene while they walked up to their group.
"The pink-haired girl stopped the ultimate genjutsu." Tenten gaped at the prospect. Neji couldn't lie he was impressed, he never broke out of that illusion no matter how hard he tried.
"What team do you belong young lady." Tenten did a double take her sensei was talking in a calm voice he sounded serious he never sounds serious, even Neji has never heard it.
"Me?" Sakura asked dumbfounded and the Jonin-Sensei of team 9 nodded.
"Can you please stop what your doing first?" Sakura asked. The area was eerily quiet now since the onlookers had up and left. Guy and Lee hadn't let go yet. Naruto was laughing at the whole ordeal with Ino only peeking from behind him to see if it was safe before going back under the blonde's mane.
"Yes, mmmhnhn" Guy coughed into his hand and pushed Lee away slowly, Guy found it weird too because, without the sunset, nothing is compelling you to think it's a manly scene. It is awkward and lacks youth.
"I'm in team 8 with Kurenai-Sensei those are my teammates Kiba and Shino" Sakura replied to the earlier question while pointing at said two teammates she was confused as to the sudden seriousness on the Jonin's face.
Guy is a tall and well-muscled man. He has fair skin a strong jawline, a somewhat large nose, and black hair. He has shiny hair in a bowl-style haircut and thick eyebrows. He wears a green jumpsuit, orange-striped leg warmers, and the standard Konoha flak jacket, which was left unzipped. His red forehead protector is worn around his waist like a belt.
"I see, thank you." Guy said very seriously before going deep in thought for a split second and it seemed he thought enough as he looked over to Rock Lee.
"Lee! Let your flames of youth burn along with your friends!" Guy cried out once more seeming to return to his old ways and Tenten seemed to want to cry at that. She had seemed to find her perfect sensei there for a second.
"Yosh Guy-Sensei!." Lee shouted back before he and Guy did the 'Nice guy pose' at each other and dropped a single tear in their respective right eye. 'Ping' was what everybody heard when they smiled at each other.
"This is so weird." Ino said with her head sticking out behind Naruto's shoulders.
"I have important business to handle now, I will see you tomorrow at 3 am sharp Lee!" Guy said making everybody except Neji and Tenten gap at the scheduled time. Guy then walked one step before he dashed off. You would only know he was there due to the dust he left in his wake.
"If it isn't doctor fate himself, you here to preach?" Naruto began, never seeming to mind starting something he might not be able to finish but whether he could finish it or not was up to him.
"Uzumaki." Neji said simply whether it was in greeting or not was up to debate.
"Let us go join Shikamaru and Choji in the shade we can all catch up." Amy suggested the civilian girl still felt part of the gang since she had two best friends there, Sakura and Ino although she and Sakura had a rivalry for Sasuke now Amy thought it might end soon as she checked out Neji.
"Do you guys want to join?" Amy asked team 9 and Lee beamed nodding vigorously with a big smile. Tenten shrugged not minding and Neji simply turned around and left.
"Don't mind him." Tenten told them and they shrugged unbothered they were used to it from a certain Uchiha.

"Hokage-Sama." At the call, Hiruzen Sarutobi looked up from his paperwork to see one of his most hardworking and trustworthy Shinobi.
"Ahh Kakashi-Kun, I remember summoning you 3 hours ago." The third Hokage told the silver-haired man. He has spiky silver hair oriented to his left side, dark grey eyes, and typically has a relaxed and lazy expression.
Kakashi wears Konoha's standard infantry clothing a flak jacket, dark blue pants, and a long-sleeve shirt. He also wears fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand and is seen with a chain necklace underneath.
"Sorry Hokage-Sama a black cat ran off with an elderly's groceries I had to pursue it but once I returned it she said she would need help unpacking." Hiruzen sighed and rubbed his temple why were all his ninjas so full of personality?
"Kakashi, tell me what do you think of Naruto? I believe you read the reports." Hiruzen inquired and Kakashi shook his head in the negative.
"Personality-wise what do you observe of our little Namikaze?" Hiruzen tried a more direct approach, he wanted to build into it so they were on the same page when he asked this question.
"He is an okay kid I guess." Kakashi said but noticed his answer did not satisfy the aged Hokage so he tried again actually putting effort to build a profile in his mind of the blonde, not noticing or too lost in his own sorrows to remember it was his father figure's son.
"Naruto-Kun is driven, the way he behaves you can tell he has big goals and ambitions I would say maybe to one day become Hokage." Kakashi nodded at his words with the third Hokage nodding as well. It's the same conclusion he came to.
"Mmh The boy seems to wear his heart on his sleeves, and has a fascinating sense of humor." Kakashi finished giving the third an eye smile fingers twitching to reach for his orange book.
"I had come to the same conclusion Kakashi my boy but this morning Naruto-Kun made me wonder otherwise." The aged man admitted with a little frown grazing his wrinkled face.
"Did something happen?" Kakashi asked standing a little straighter and wondering about the details. The orange book was still in his mind but pushed lower in the interest list.
"Naruto-Kun threatened to quit the program and leave the leaf, going so far as removing his forehead protector in my proximity." Hiruzen still couldn't understand, what was wrong he didn't know why Naruto would show such hostility towards him. Kakashi's eyes widened at that.
"He did that?" Kakashi wondered out loud. He too immediately understood the backlash such a decision would cause in Konoha which only had one Jinchuriki.
"Yes Kakashi, young Naruto does not know his importance in the village. He has shown me today that I, his Hokage, and Konoha his village can be cast away in a heartbeat if he feels it's mistreating him." Kakashi would have gapped if he had not been such a composed individual.
"Do you think it is time to tell him about his burden?" Kakashi spoke up and Hiruzen looking even older nodded.
"I will have Jiraiya tell him about it, my former student should be here in a month," Hiruzen explained and Hatake nodded,
"You want me to keep an eye on him." Kakashi deduced and the Kage smiled like a grandfather, Kakashi groaned.

"How did the meeting go Gatō-Sama?" Gatō walking out of the Kazekage's office looked at the taller Rasen and just continued walking.
Gatō couldn't understand the Kazekage, the village was obviously economically stunted. Vendors all sold the same products so income was shared by many people. The ninjas roamed the streets depressed, they even spotted one looking for a side job at a bakery.
The Kazekage had denied Gatō's business proposals, he said a military village could not have a civilian buying out lands in it. Gatō knew Rasa was enticed by the offer. Gatō sold him the dream of a better Suna like a star but the man still refused.
'Maybe he's waiting for the village to crumble, to see he just chased away a solution." Gatō wondered as he walked out of the building and marched along with his escort and men. He never noticed the ghostly pale woman watching him from a distance with a silver-haired boy in a white kimono.
"Kimimaru-Kun, tail Gatō-San and see what his business in Suna is." The snake-like woman told her subordinate who seemed no older than 16 or 17.
"Hai, may I inquire why you are interested in this particular man my lord?" The 'woman' laughed that laugh that scared Gatō out of his high ground.
"A ninja does not work for free Kimimaru-Kun, A village does not eat for free either and most importantly my research comes with quite the fee. A businessman like Gatō will do well to have on my side." The woman explained and her young aide nodded at the explanation in understanding.
"I will not fail you Orochimaru-Sama." The boy said in a whisper before walking off to tail the group heading off in the distance.
"Mmh, this body will reject me soon, I wonder how young Itachi's eyes have improved." The 'woman' mused walking off in a different direction as 'she' licked her lips in anticipation.
AN
OROCHIMARU IS A MAN!!! I'm not gender-bending a soul in this franchise that would just be cruel to any male it's done to even Orochi the creep.
The plot is building the rookies had their day off and we saw some interaction with team Guy...somebody managed to break the unbreakable illusion and Guy is in shock what does it mean for our resident Haruno who did the did the deed and in the process traumatized many onlookers.
Gatō still needs to complete his mission but Suna seems to have found a solution to their troubles already with Rasa the 4th Kazekage dismissing Gatō's deal.
Next chapter! Shisui's undercover mission for Naruto takes priority and Naruto begins learning the Shuushine no jutsu the shisui way!
