I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise.
Chapter 58
"You disappoint me Sakura-Chan, I had higher hopes for you than the mediocre show you put on today." Sakura stiffened and looked to her window to find Orochimaru not behind the glass but in front of it. Sakura growled and stood up abruptly.
"You said the chakra was enough to win, it finished before the match ended." Sakura was smart enough to not scream her lungs out in anger and awaken her sleeping parents but inside she was fuming.
"I said the chakra was good to last you the match yes, what I did not say is that you should place the whole arena in a genjutsu." Orochimaru ignored Sakura's tantrum and instead looked around her room. It looked too pink, Orochimaru looked at the poster on the wall and shook his head.
"Why do you bother with Sasuke-Kun uhm? You my girl are above us all, the next evolution. You hold more in you than any Uchiha could dream." Orochimaru sighed feeling even more saddened by the prospect of it not being him born in that body.
"BUT I lost!" Sakura caught her outburst and balled her fists looking down. "Naruto passed, Sasuke passed and Hinata passed. All their matches were assured wins while I lost to a bum like Shikamaru." Sakura began sobbing in frustration. Orochimaru even played with the idea of a 'hug' but a second later he chuckled while the girl cried.
"They passed because they fought to their strengths, you instead fought with borrowed strength and wasted it. Only your stupidity is to blame here…. Kukuku." Orochimaru was a jerk, Sakura decided While wiping her tears with her balled fists and glaring up at the Sanin.
"Much better, you have a fire in you my girl but this." Orochimaru threw a Kunai that landed squarely on the forehead of the Sasuke Uchiha portrait. "This will not do." The Sanin did not care for the look of horror to cross the pink-haired girl's eyes, he instead concentrated fire chakra through the translucent wire attached to the Kunai and let it ignite.
"Wait!" Sakura screamed out but she was not fast enough to save the poster that ignited after the flames reached it. Her mind reminded her with Orochimaru's chakra coursing through her she could have gotten there with plenty of time to spare. Sakura dropped to her knees and stared up at the burning poster in defeat.
"Why would you do that?" The Haruno asked in horror. Orochimaru walked up behind her and placed a hand on her shoulder, the other bent at a 90-degree angle behind his back.
"It is for your good my girl. You have to understand that it is the situation that makes the man, not the man who makes the situation." Orochimaru lectured so much like his former sensei.
"When a man assumes he has created a situation it becomes an event, an act, a play, A LIE……Let us assume a situation came where Sasuke-Kun was on the verge of death, is there anything you could offer him, like medical attention, or even better, could you have prevented it?" Sakura stopped crying and listened to the Sanin's words. His questions bounced around in her head with both answers coming back No.
Sakura found herself agreeing with Sasuke's views of her. Was she truly useless? She was given power yet she still lost to Lazy Shikamaru Nara who barely passed the academy year. Their classes dead last beat her who came 4th place in the whole academy.
"I am useless." Sakura said out loud dropping her head in resigned sadness.
"Oh that my girl you are…. Kukuku." Again Sakura would point out Orochimaru was a jerk now slash Asshole.
"Yet you hold the most potential in the whole elemental nations to surpass all who have come before you….. I Orochimaru of the Sanin can make that a reality, all you have to do is drink my blood." Sakura abruptly stood up and ran for the door in a panic. drink blood? Heck no she was doing that.
"It was a joke." Orochimaru said casually causing Sakura who had her hands on the doorknob stops in her tracks and look at Orochimaru who simply smiled at her dangerously.
"How will you make me stronger." Sakura asked and she got a response she could not make out a meaning for.
"Kukukukuku."
"Sakura baby! Is something wrong I heard Shouting! ARE YOU BURNING SOMETHING IN THE HOUSE!!!" Sakura covered her ears with her hands at the loud shout courtesy of her mother's screeching.
"You have to.." Sakura stopped talking and looked around her room finding nobody in there by the name of Snake Sanin. She was about to tell him to leave but it seems like he already took his leave.
"Sakura, open this Damn door or else." Mebuki demanded of course angry at the thought of someone playing with fire in her house.
"Oh come on baby, you can't just cut a man like that when he's about to relea….mmmmmhmmh." Sakura blushed red, she did not have to hear the ending of that sentence because she already knew too much for her brain not to finish the sentence.
"GET AWAY FROM MY DOOR!" Sakura screeched back and a second later she heard her parents scrambling away from her room with her dad complaining about getting his ears pulled by his wife.
'Damn you Inooooooo…." Sakura thought. Her best friend of course had filled her in on the wonders of the birds and bees.

Hinata did not know what the whole Hyūga clan was planning but she did not care, everybody, there was tense and excited about something she was not privy to. Toneri who had arrived at the village on the day before the exams with his father was an honored guest of her Clan. Hinata was nowhere to be found on said day, and because Naruto came looking for her at some point they assumed she was not with him.
Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki are distant relatives. The boy Toneri is being groomed to take over the creed of the Ōtsutsuki clan like how Hinata is being groomed to take over the creed of the Hyūga clan.
Hinata didn't pay attention, her mind throughout the journey home with Kō and Toneri after she and Naruto were found was on how her body felt weird and that she wanted to run back to Naruto and have him continue.
When they reached the main Hyūga house they were formally introduced by the elders. Hinata had to act as professionally as a whiteboard to get through that ceremony. Toneri asked her a lot of questions about herself and Naruto, at every chance he would try to twist her views on the blonde but again, Hinata was thinking of other things, at that point, she was making escape plans.
"Byakugan princess?" Hinata mumbled the name tasting it on her tongue and hating it. The Byakugan is not what makes Hinata Hyūga who she is. Hinata did not have the dojutsu until recently, and to start calling her Byakugan princess felt insulting to the blind girl.
The blind sweetheart giggle when she found who she was heading to. Naruto was sitting in the middle of the road. The blonde had his legs crossed and his hands folded looking straight ahead.
'I won't sneak out through the front door Naruto-Kun.' Hinata giggled at the thought of her just walking out through the compound entrance. She would be thrown back inside in a heartbeat. Hinata quickly covered up her laugh and began tiptoeing toward the Uzumaki from behind.
"Mmh, I wonder where she is. I miss her, you know." Naruto mumbled just hard enough for Hinata Hyūga to hear and she stopped in her tracks at his words. It was already past 9 pm people were sleeping and like Hinata told him earlier, she would sneak out to sleep at his place, he decided to wait on the road leading to the Hyūga estate.
"If Toneri touches so much as a hair in her beautiful head I'll skin him alive." Naruto growled unaware of the presence behind him, hands folded and eyes squinting in concentration. The Uzumaki was a ball of excitement and nerves for tonight's sleepover with Hinata but he was also suspicious of the white-haired boy.
"If the teme with a pole up his ass can see how special she is then, of course, some noble teme with a brick in his ass will notice too." Naruto held his chin in thought, then he smirked, they wouldn't get a chance to steal her.
"Tstststs….I'm a sucker for her bro." Naruto found that he would do anything for the blind Hyūga girl even stop his dealings if she were to ask.
"She has me like, really good too, I can't even think straight when she's around." Hinata stood there and began poking her fingers behind the seated blonde who was facing the direction of the Hyūga compound while she listened to him talk to himself about her.
"I just love her so much… damn….Hinata Hyūga.." Naruto sighed out Hinata's name and he seemed to relax from the act. He repositioned himself placing both hands on the dirt road to support his weight while he leaned back and bent his head to look to the sky, folding his left leg over his right.
"Hime…." Naruto said in surprise seeing Hinata standing behind him before he blushed red because of the blush on Hinata's face that told him she heard everything. Hinata had heard enough, she could not help but smirk down at him after she regained her composure, the blush was not leaving anytime soon.
Hinata walked around the blonde and stood in front of him, his eyes followed her the entire time. She bent her knees in a squat motion and got to his level before she outstretched her hands toward him.
Naruto was quick to bring his face into her touch. The Jinchuriki of the nine-tailed fox disappeared from the elemental nations and found himself in Hinata ville but blushed the entire time she caressed his cheeks.
Naruto knew he had a weakness called Hinata Hyūga, if anybody wanted to harm him they would target Hinata but he would never be stupid enough to let her go. Hinata smiled at the emotions she felt from him and Naruto's heart beat faster in his chest, he wondered how she had so much power over him.
Naruto watched his princess break the distance between them before bending his head down with her hands and kissing him on his forehead once, twice, thrice, four times, five times, and then six times. When she backed away and smiled at him again Naruto looked back and asked for another round.
The affections in each of those kisses were too much for Naruto to not want another taste. Hinata giggled with a pink stain on her cheeks and gave him another round.
"Forehead," Naruto said and received a kiss there. "Left Cheek, right cheek." Hinata gave more kisses in the spots named giggling the whole time.
"Nose, between my brows and uhm uhm uhm." Naruto now out of ideas on where he wanted the last kiss to go had a welcomed surprise by the last landing on his lips and lasting longer than the rest, he blushed again.
"Are you happy now?" Hinata asked sweetly, able to feel so much love coming from her blonde lover she felt high and intoxicated by it. Naruto gave a big grin nodding vigorously with Hinata's hands still on his now very red cheeks. Naruto took Hinata's hands when she stood up and hoisted himself up with her support.
"Let's go home Hinata-Chan!" Naruto exclaimed taking the Hyuga heiress's hand and giving it a chastened kiss before hooking their index fingers like the seal of reconciliation and walking towards the blonde boy's apartment each basking in the other's company.
"Thank you for the best 6 years of my life Naruto-Kun." Hinata told the blond repositioning their hands to intertwine fully. Naruto couldn't help but smile now understanding why he got six kisses on his forehead.
"Too many more years to come" Naruto casually toasted with Hinata nodding and leaning into his shoulders.
"I love you."

"I am sorry my boy, it saddens me that the Byakugan princess has already found love." An old man draped in clothing similar to the angry teenager with shaggy white hair next to him spoke. He has long white hair and a full beard that reaches until his diaphragm, it was white.
"He is a Jinchuriki, he is nothing more than a weapon of war and destruction. The Byakugan princess needs to be informed of this." Toneri said turning his head to the other man with them on the rooftop. The Hyūga elder who happens to be Hinata's grandfather sighed disappointedly at the heiress.
"It is an S-Class secret in the village, the boy himself does not know about the beast inside him." The Hyūga elder explained to the hot-headed teen who did not care for his excuses.
"I did not know of this development, I was under the impression they were 'just friends'." The elder explained, with his eyes still trained on the two genin's backs with his active dojutsu.
"If the Byakugan princess has already found a mate then we have to start searching for other candidates." Toneri's father spoke and the look he received from his son told him that was the wrong thing to say. The boy's chakra that spiked and wore him like a cloak for a second had the Hyūga elder salivating at the thought of that power becoming part of the main family.
"With due respect, young Toneri's reaction is understandable. Hinata is a princess of the Hyūga clan, she is a direct descendent of Hamura's blood. Her abilities with our dojutsu were only ever heard of in our ancestor Hamura Ōtsutsuki himself." The old man hid his smirk well when he saw he had the young boy's attention and some of his trust by being on his side.
"Exactly my point, a girl like Hinata Hyūga does not need to stain herself with filth like Naruto Uzumaki." Toneri said a bit calmer before he turned around and jumped from rooftop to rooftop following the two love birds from a distance while using a special skill to hide his presence from all sensors.
"You have a fine boy." The Hyūga elder commented now trying to sweeten the old man. The old man author San has not named yet sighed and grimaced.

"They caught on to me quicker than I expected them to." Orochimaru smirked and kept walking down the streets of Konoha. It was quite nostalgic, he remembered all the people he met, how they conversed, and how they interacted before he got to know them intimately in his dungeons.
'Good times.' Orochimaru thought with a smirk, he knew who was following him, one Ibiki, Anko, and Gekkō. Orochimaru wondered if they thought they could catch him alive and interrogate him, that would be hilarious enough for a good five-second laugh.
"Oh well." Orochimaru stopped in his tracks and turned around still in the disguise of the sound genin's sensei.
Ibiki was the first to appear, followed quickly by the swordsman Gekkō and finally Anko the snake Sanin's former student. They all had a look of wariness in their eyes, as though they suspected the man in front of them to be very dangerous.
"Oh my, oh my. Here I am feeling nostalgic and the most disappointing nostalgia shows up kukukuk. how are you Anko-Chan." Orochimaru mocked what he considered a failure. Anko gritted her teeth getting confirmation of who the person in front of her was.
"What is a snake like you doing back in Konoha?" Ibiki asked, his intimidating aura not the least bit affecting Orochimaru. Ibiki's intimidating aura did affect Anko though, stopping her from attacking blindly.
"The weakest Jonin in the hidden leaf village, still acting strong I see." Orochimaru chuckled at the end of his jab at Ibiki Morino who for all his bravado was the weakest Jōnin in the hidden leaf village, his scars were proof of his blunders.
"He is as I have heard (cough cough)…An asshole indeed." Gekkō Hayate said drawing his blade, he wanted one of his fiancé's famous tea. The quicker they were done with the traitor in front of them the quicker they could all clock out for the night.
"A team of defected specimens. A loser, a failure, and a defective dog. Sensei must see you all as dispensable canon fodder to have you all served up for me…. kukukKuKUUKUKUKUKUK!!!!" Orochimaru laughed in pure malice, tarring the skin of the face he wore as a disguise in half from the mouth.
"I won't kill you Anko-Chan, even a failed experiment can lead to new discoveries. Aren't you the lucky little girl?" Orochimaru sidestepped when Gekkō attacked his sword held in both hands pointed forward ready to pierce the Sanin.
"I don't like being disturbed." Orochimaru said seriously his eyes speaking of a very quick but gruesome death. The Snake Sanin's right hand extended and turned to strike behind him like a viper and his aim rang through.
Gekkō Hayate spat out crimson and looked at the hand piercing his stomach. He did not expect the Snake to be so fluid in his motions. When the man dodged Hayate turned around to attack him from behind but the Sanin not even facing him had already countered.
"There is a difference in power here that you all don't want to acknowledge." Orochimaru twisted his hand inside Hayate's stomach before pulling out the arm causing Hayate to step back and place his hands on the wound, his blade falling from his grasp.
"That is why you are lower than the animals that know when to run." Orochimaru flicked his bloody hand to smack Hayate in his right cheek. Sending the man flying away from the power behind the slap, twisting diagonally like a top.
"Boom." Orochimaru said casually with a smile on his face, even making the motion of an explosion with his bloody hand that returned to his side faster than a slingshot.
Anko's eyes widened when Hayate's stomach exploded from the inside out courtesy of the explosive tag Orochimaru buried in his gut. The man landed on the floor the explosion not killing him instantly.
Ibiki could only grit his teeth when Hayate began clawing at his stomach, legs kicking and head moving around in a panic before he ceased moving suddenly and stopped all movements.
"Killing you really won't hurt Konoha's ninja force." Orochimaru smiled, his yellow eyes looking straight into Ibiki's black ones. Orochimaru's killing intent smacked Ibiki and Anko in the face a second later like a thrown table and they understood they had no chance. They could either try to stall him and wait for backup or retreat.
"Anko, retreat and get back up, I will stall him." Ibiki instructed making Anko look at him like he was the stupidest man she has ever met. Ibiki took the look like a champ and narrowed his eyes at her making Anko scoff.
"Your not that intimidating when that freak is around." Anko asserted with a glare of her own which had Orochimaru chuckling. He decided to watch and see what path his failed experiment would choose.
"I am your commanding officer in this mission, my orders are law." Ibiki said now looking utterly serious. Anko growled before turning around and performing a Shuushine to cover more ground faster.
"Well, well, well it's just me and a dead man." Orochimaru moved and Ibiki moved to clash in the middle.

"You called Hokage-Sama." Itachi Uchiha appeared suddenly in the Hokage's office giving the man residing inside the room a respectful bow before standing straight.
Hiruzen looked up from his paperwork and smiled At Itachi Uchiha, the old man removed his reading glasses and took out his pipe lighting it up and taking a healthy drag. Itachi simply waited patiently for the old man to do his ritual calming exercise before getting to business.
"Congratulations on the great work you have done with your genin. They all showed great potential in the exams." Hiruzen praised the youngest Jonin in his ninja force. Itachi nodded in gratitude at the praise accepting it as a team effort because his genin were very independent on how to seek strength as well as team players.
"Sasuke's actions during the preliminary rounds were questionable, but the strategy used was sound." Hiruzen said, and Itachi nodded in agreement. His disappointment was clear for the old Kage to see.
"Do not feel bad, Itachi-Kun, he is still young. Sasuke-Kun still has plenty of time to grow." Itachi nodded at that assessment and hoped it was true, and because it was his little brother he held hope that it was true.
"Now for your other two students." Hiruzen began and Itachi sensed quite a lot of Interest coming from his Hokage. The prodigy of the Uchiha clan put it to the side, Naruto was their village Jinchuriki, of course, the Hokage would be interested in his growth.
"How would you describe Naruto-Kun's relationship with your female genin." Hiruzen's question confused Itachi. The hope of the Uchiha clan thought the old man would question him about their progress, not something as personal as their relationship.
"She is his best friend Hokage-Sama." Itachi revealed in simple terms making Hiruzen hum in thought at the revelation.
"The Yamanaka heiress?" Hiruzen asked.
"His girlfriend Hokage-Sama." Itachi answered simply once more.
"They seemed very close in the exams." The Satrutobi ventured which had Itachi nodding.
"They have been friends for six years Hokage-Sama." Itachi's replies were all short and to the point. Hiruzen liked that because it gave him more insight into the situation.
"What about……" Hiruzen didn't get to finish his question because Anko Mitarashi barged into his office through the door in a frenzy and said one word that had Hiruzen throwing everything he was doing earlier in a heartbeat.
"Orochimaru." Hiruzen stood up abruptly and asked where the Sanin was. Anko quickly told him the coordinates and the street name. Hiruzen born and bred in Konoha knew exactly where that was and he was quick to give orders.
"Itachi, with me. Anko go inform the Jōnin commander and have him send back up." Hiruzen was out the window a second later followed quickly by Itachi.
The two highly skilled Shinobi moved with great speed from rooftop to rooftop, able to leap over 5 rooftops at a time with their chakra-boosted jumps.
"Your orders Hokage-Sama." Itachi was back in full Anbu mode with an aura of seriousness and malice exuding from his form.
"Attack with prejudice." Hiruzen replied seriously. Itachi nodded and picked up speed, pacing his aged Kage and moving ahead to confront the very powerful Sanin. A second later Itachi saw an earth wall in the middle of the road.
Itachi landed and looked around, finding no Ibiki Morino or Orochimaru, he did see Gekkō Hayate's dead corps. There were already civilians outside their houses on porches or peeking through windows.
"Some foreign ninja crushed a Jōnin of Konoha between those two slabs of bricks." A civilian with brown hair and green eyes helpfully told Itachi from the safety of his room by creaking it a little open for his mouth to come out.
Itachi looked at said slabs and approached them. He went pulsed his chakra twice and a second later their slabs fell apart with a cat-like coffin landing on the floor before it opened revealing a bloody Ibiki Morino breathing hard, with an eye missing from his left socket.
"Oh shit he alive!." The man at the window exclaimed in shock before adding. "The other guy still alive?" Itachi shook his head at the stupid question. A second later the Hokage landed and laid eyes on Ibiki's unconscious form before his eyes traveled to his dead Shinobi.
"Orochimaru." He growled…

Y'all know me, I don't like living a day unfinished. Before having time skips but don't worry since I have free rein to fuck with Canon now that the preliminary rounds have ended I can finally do just that...
Orochimaru is a very dangerous individual, Canon turned him into a laughing stock at some point in Shippuden after hyping him up so much in the original series. Here Orochimaru is every bit as savage, blood thirsty, dangerous and deadly.
What are the Hyūga elders planning. Why does it seem like Tonery might want something with Hinata and what was that power he released for a second that had Hinata's grandfather salivating at the mouth...
