I don't own Naruto or any of its characters, I'm just a fan I enjoyed the anime but I love the fanfics even more, they made me fall for the whole franchise.
Chapter 65
Sasuke sighed for the tenth time wondering where Kakashi Hatake was, the man said 6 am sharp, Sasuke showed up at 5:30 am on the dot it was now going to 9 am and he was getting annoyed.
Sasuke rubbed his temple still unable to get the nightmare he had last night out of his mind. It felt so vivid, watching Itachi slaughter their whole clan and parents saying he did it for power and that one day Sasuke would understand and seek that same power before his Sharingan took a completely different shape.
'What was that?' Sasuke wondered, the Uchiha genin was located in front of the Konohagaru entrance leaning against the gates. In the last 3 hours, he stood there he already spotted 4 kids holding what looked like mini Naruto's throwing plastic Kunai, walking 5 steps, or shooting flames from its hand.
The shock of the action figurine died away about two hours ago and now Sasuke just wondered if the blonde Uzumaki was more talented than him. Sasuke never really gave fuinjutsu any real thought before, he thought it only sealed things or created barriers but after Naruto and Hinata left their home last night Sasuke's father was quick to tell Itachi to inform him when the final product of the Talk Anywhere You Are tag was released.
"If the Uchiha police had their own pocket dimension with multiple connections where people could send complaints and report accidents it would make it easier for officers on duty to react to emergencies." Sasuke mumbled Fugaku's words, the man was so excited by the prospect of being able to respond faster to crimes and help more people Sasuke felt sad.
"Ah, I hope I didn't keep you waiting long." Sasuke's head swerved to the left and found Kakashi Hatake signing some documents at the entrance booth while his face was buried in a book.
"It's been 3 hours." Sasuke told the older man who blinked and made a show of being shocked. Sasuke did not like being taken for somebody's plaything but this was Hatake Kakashi he had to behave himself.
"Ma ma. Aren't you the stickler for time, live a little." Kakashi told the young boy while he sent Izumo a two-finger salute and approached Sasuke Uchiha, his apprentice for the month.
"I am living." Sasuke grumbled in a whisper. Kakashi heard him but didn't really care for the response and simply looked the boy up and down.
"Honestly my first impression of you, you are boring." Sasuke felt a metaphorical spike strike his heart, Sasuke wasn't boring, he did fun things too like practicing his Shuriken Jutsu, sometimes he practiced his interceptor fist katas, and other times he practiced his ninjutsu.
Sasuke kept his mouth shut and didn't respond, his mind telling him everything he just listed was work-related and in most people's humble opinions boring.
"Let's head out then, first stop rice country." Kakashi informed the member of team 7 who nodded not minding the fact he would be seeing a new place and maybe escaping this cliché weather he found at home.
The two Sharingan wielders walked out of the village a second later. Sasuke had his bag on his back and Kakashi seemed to only carry his pouch and orange book.

Shisui knew he was supposed to be moving quickly to deliver a message to Danzo Shimura to return to Konoha but he did not like the guy very much and so planned on delaying the inevitable for as long as he could.
"Hahahaha Sunagakure is very hot I'd rather not stay there either." Shisui said laughing, the Uchiha had found company in the form of traveling civilians who carried a carriage on their shoulders. The one Shisui spoke to was Odama who he found quite funny.
"Yeah man, and it's all because of this gaki that keeps sending us around like we work for him." Odama grumbled and received a slap behind his head courtesy of his best friend Rasen Origami.
"What did the boss say?" Rasen asked Odama who rubbed his head with a pout while Shisui snickered at his predicament.
"We should show the boy the utmost respect." Odama replied in a grumble not liking that he was being slapped around by his best friend. Odama now noticed that power changed Rasen, the guy use to be fun but now he even quit drinking and smoking, where was the fun in that?
"Just shut up already Odama head, it would be so nice to see you shivering so much you can't make words." Mango said from behind Rasen, Danko who walked opposite him snickered.
"Shhhh!" Everybody sighed including Shisui who had quickly learned Rasen was a teacher's pet from the rest of the entourage. Their boss was sleeping, and honestly, Shisui did not want to speak to any form of authority for a while.
"Well here is my turn." Shisui informed the gang, Rasen seemed happy to have Shisui gone because the Uchiha was making controlling the rest of the 'hood rats' very difficult with his antics.
"We will be coming back to Konoha in a month to watch the finals, maybe you can show us around." Danko told the Jōnin who grinned at the idea and gave the man to suggest it a thumbs up.
"Just ask any random ninja for Shisui Uchiha of the body flicker and they will point you in my direction." Shisui boasted before rubbing under his nose with his index finger. "I am kind of a living legend in Konoha." Shisui exaggerated but honestly, he was quite revered in the elemental nations.
"Woah!" Odama gapped when Shisui's image began wavering before fading away like an illusion. "So fucking cool." Odama said in awe before looking at Rasen with a smirk. "I think I might have found a soon-to-be new best friend." The dummy of the Gatō squad said with a wink and got slapped again.

"You revealed yourself to Konoha." Rasa growled out looking at Orochimaru with menacing eyes. The Sanin had returned to Suna earlier that day after escaping Konoha the 2 days before.
Rasa has auburn hair, and dark eyes and usually has a very stern look on his face. He wore a simple black jacket and pants with mesh armor underneath. He carried a small canister strapped to his hip and he has two creases around his mouth.
Over his normal attire, Rasa wore the standard attire of the Kazekage which consisted of a loose-fitting green kimono with a white collar and the signature hat with the kanji for wind on it.
"Don't worry Rasa-San, they don't suspect your involvement." Orochimaru said casually looking quite relaxed in a foreign village with its strongest Ninja facing him with a prominent frown on his face.
"Why were you trying to steal a client from Sunagakure?" Rasa asked with a stern tone, Orochimaru made a face like a kid getting caught stealing from the cookie jar before he chuckled.
"Why do you ask? If I am not mistaken, you declined Gatō's offer." Orochimaru answered unbothered by the killing intent that now made its presence known.
"Do you know what makes life boring Rasa-San?" Orochimaru asked but didn't give the Kazekage a chance to reply. "Life becomes boring when people stick to old rules/decisions that do nothing but leave them rooted in one place even when they know the results would be disastrous." Rasa frowned feeling like he was being insulted by the Sanin's words.
"Let's take you, for example, a rich man walks into your village and offers you a peaceful solution to your village's problems and you decline him. Instead, you accept my offer, which involves bloodshed, betrayal, and death kukukuk" Orochimaru chuckled when he saw the look of anger that crossed Rasa's visage.
"That is the history of the elemental nations, the history of Shinobi but most of all the stupidity of you Kages, it is as though that hat diminishes your intelligence by 10 folds every time you put it on." Rasa abruptly stood up from his sit and glared at the snake Sanin who did not budge only smiling up at him.
"Do not make me kill you traitorous snake of Konoha." Rasa warned getting dark rings around his eyes meaning he was calling upon his gold dust.
"My my, you Kages hate honesty, My stupid sensei is the same way." Orochimaru became serious at that moment and stood up as well standing taller than Rasa and locking gazes with the shorter man with his yellow slit eyes.
"We have a common enemy, for now, I will call friends of mine to help accelerate Konoha's downfall but do know something little man. I am Orochimaru of the legendary Sanins, I had already killed more people than I can count before you stopped wearing diapers, don't let that ugly hat make you believe otherwise. Crossing me is not wise in any sense of the word, let's work together nicely now okay little Kazekage." Orochimaru smiled dangerously at the Kazekage of Sunagakure while releasing his own killing intent that had many of the man's hidden ninjas rushing into the office not recognizing Orochimaru due to his disguise as a pale-skinned slender woman.
"Kazekage-Sama we……"
"Shut up and leave." Rasa commanded his ninjas and they gulped before nodding or bowing and backpedaling out of the office.
"Must be nice." Orochimaru mocked with a smile sitting back down. "Can we talk business now?" Orochimaru asked, his mood returning to what it was at the beginning of their meeting.
'After Konoha is destroyed I am coming after you snake.' Rasa thought with conviction before sitting back down and getting back to the first order of business which was how to breach Konoha's defenses during the 5 Kage summit/Chunin exam finals.

Whistling a shanty tune as he moved around the corridors of the Leaf Village Hospital, Kabuto found himself at home in this building. He remembered how he use to come here almost every day as a child with his caretaker and learn so much from her until the leaf village took her away from him.
Kabuto readjusted his spectacles and killed the emotions of anger and hurt about to blossom in his 'crystal clear' psyche. The spy/Medi-Nin had nightmares of the day he killed his mother in everything but blood without his knowledge because of Danzo Shimura. Kabuto knew he has not dreamt in a long time and waking up in cold sweats was not something he remembered doing before but last night was a first.
"Hello, Mulan-Chan." Kabuto greeted a fellow medic-nin who wore the standard medic uniform and had brown hair cut in a bowl style.
"Hey there handsome, you are slippery you know that?" The woman Mulan asked going to stand in front of Kabuto, giving him lust-filled gazes as she began touching him in random places sensually.
"We got word that you tried your hands on a Chunin vest again but quit when you were put against Sunagakure's Jinchuriki." Mulan teased with her hands now getting very close to Kabuto's private area. Kabuto sighed removing her hand from his person and giving her a friendly smile, the spy did not find the woman in front of him the least bit attractive, he would go so far as to call her the ugliest woman he has ever slept with.
"Bad circumstances I guess, I heard you had a demon in your custody." Kabuto revealed with a fake frown of anger and disgust which the nurse in front of him copied.
"You wouldn't believe what happened, the boy was brought here bleeding like a fausseté from the head, we were all hoping he would die but his bitch went throwing her weight around the hospital forcing people to help him." Kabuto nodded with a smile and moved forward finding himself very close to the girl before he brought his hand around her back and grabbed her ass and squeezed.
"Oh my, you naughty boy…." Mulan moaned out sensually and moved in to kiss Kabuto but he instead moved his head to her side and whispered more lies to the woman.
"I would like that yes." Mulan said none the wiser which had Kabuto smirking. In his position he spotted auburn hair and platinum blonde, he remembered the latter and has seen the former around quite often in the hospital recently.
"Ino Yamanaka." Kabuto whispered with a smirk before he got his balls squeezed hard and he almost squeaked in shock. He looked down at Mulan who was glaring at him and he sighed pushing away from her.
"I will contact you later today." He lied again with a straight face and left the angry civilian medic in the hallway they had found themselves in. Kabuto made his way down the hallway and turned the corner following the two girls he saw.

"Where are we going?" Ino asked one of her closest friends Amy, who came to her place very early in the morning once again because she started to work early and returned home late due to learning, cleaning, and observing how things are done in a hospital and because she couldn't just wait for her off day.
"Last night a lot of weird things happened like we found a lot of people just laying on the streets of Konoha, on porches or alleyways unconscious and having Nightmares." Amy began which gained Ino's attention because she realized she too fell asleep in the family garden and had a nightmare where Naruto was an idiot who did nothing but annoy people and shout out that he would become Hokage but never did anything to reach that goal. Ino shivered at the thought before she got sad because in that dream she gave the blonde no chance and yet Hinata fainted every time he spoke to her with a smile on her face and a blush.
"We-we also found Hinata's grandfather brutally murdered, his left arm was found 4 blocks away from his body that was stabbed like a thousand times or something we are still waiting for the autopsy." Amy continued explaining not knowing Ino had already left the premises as she thought about her dream and how she and Sakura mistreated Naruto while chasing after Sasuke who did not seem any different from how he is in real life except for the fact he did not have a crush on Hinata though he and her ex did butt heads a lot in the dream.
"Wait, who died?" Ino asked after her busy mind found the time to register Amy's words.
"Hinata's grandfather." Amy said annoyed that her friend was not listening to her.
"That is horrible, Hinata won't take that well." Ino assumed but Amy knew the real answer and was always ready to spill the beans.
"She didn't care." Ino looked at Amy weirdly and Amy shook her head with both hands raised. "Don't look at me like that, I told her myself, she said it would settle in with time before storming off." Ino nodded unable to understand why Hinata would react that way but she continued following Amy who was leading the way.
A few moments later they reached a door and Amy smiled sweetly at Ino, the Yamanaka heiress did not understand why her friend looked at her like that.
"Naruto-Kun was hospitalized last night, I was curious so I snuck into the lab and checked his autopsy," Amy grimaced at the thought of what she saw and decided she didn't want to worry her friend.
"I thought you might want to see him." Ino was wide-eyed with horror in her expression, she was about to rush into the room but a nuisance made himself known.
"Ino Yamanaka funny running into you here." Ino and Amy both looked behind them and saw Kabuto approaching with a small friendly smile.
"Do I know you?" Ino asked genuinely lost to who stood in front of her and Amy. Kabuto got flashbacks of the first phase of the Chunin exams and how every Konoha rookie turned him into the exam's laughing stock including the platinum blonde girl who dismissed him like a peasant and apparently threw the memory they shared in a trash bin somewhere.
"I am Kabuto Yakushi, we met in the first phase of the Chunin exams." Kabuto explained Kindly, going so far as to take out one of his ninja cards.
"Oh, it is you." Ino said losing the little interest she had in who she thought was a stranger. Kabuto inwardly sighed and thought any more interactions with Genins will make him age faster.
"Kabuto Yakushi." Kabuto and his company looked behind them and saw Guy standing at the end of the hallway. "We need your help with a student of mine." Guy said seriously and Kabuto shrugged moving away from the two young ladies.
"Duty calls, bye-bye." The master spy said in a friendly manner while waving behind him at the two girls before turning the corner when Guy indicated he should take the lead and the taijutsu specialist followed a second later, still looking very serious.
"Do you want to see him?" Amy asked her best friend.
"There is something you need to know Amy." Ino began, her eyes already tearing up at the thought before she quenched it and resolved herself. Naruto was hurt and by how Amy didn't want to explain to her the extent of his injuries she figured it was bad.
"Nevermind, I will be right back." Ino told her friend before creaking the door open slowly to see if Naruto was already awake and sure enough he was. The problem was that he was not alone Hinata was there as well sleeping on the hospital bed while Naruto simply sat on the bed and stared at her lovingly before he poked her nose occasionally and snickered when the Hyūga heiress would wrinkle her nose and try to swat away a bug.
"It is I cinnamon roll, I have come to take my revenge ahhhhhhh yum yum yum.." Naruto whispered before attacking, play-biting Hinata, which had the girl abruptly waking up in a fit of laughter as Naruto began tickling her as well. Ino closed the door shut and turned back to Amy.
"He is still asleep, how about you tell me about those injuries." Ino suggested with a fake smile. Amy looked at her weirdly but nodded nonetheless and they moved away from the room. Ino looked back to the room her golden boy was in before looking away and wiping away her tears.
'Please look out for him Hinata.'

The story continues, I apologize for the late update but I wasn't feeling well and my health is my biggest muse lol I jest...
The plot continues, Shisui is moving to the fire capital I will try to have a full chapter showing his interaction with Danzo and maybe have him meet the fire lord. We all know Shimura does not sit ideally still so I will come up with some evil plot he was probably working in the capital without his own knowledge, hahaha I'm sure he would be surprised too.
Gatō and his entourage are slowly making their way to Wave country where they will catch a boat that is now under Naruto's names to make their way to the technological power house that is snow country.
Orochimaru really is an asshole but at least he is an honest one, I will choose an honest asshole above a lying good guy anyday.
Kabuto is being summoned with false pretenses since Konoha already knows he made contact with Orochimaru during the 2nd phase of the exams due to Naruto's big mouth... where is Karin and what happened to the red haired find out next time on a different telling...
