Chapter 95
"I am sorry I did not tell you sooner Ino-Chan, I have to go now, stay home until I return. I will explain everything as soon as I can." Sakura watched Ino's father leave the room after those final instructions were given. To see the man alive and healthy reminded the pink-et of her father at home lying atop his blood, dead.
"Bye" Ino waved back with relief escaping her, Sakura knew she should be confused about her best friend's behavior but somehow she was just mellowed out. They just learned Naruto has the nine-tailed fox sealed within him and all she did the entire time was nod her head and hum.
"Are you not surprised Ino?" Sakura inquired in a very tired voice, the Haruno felt like she was under medication. Everything seemed so vividly real, Naruto had a tailed beast sealed within him, Sasuke killed her, her parents were murdered and she regurgitated herself a new body to return from the dead.
"What's wrong forehead?" Ino Yamanaka inquired of her best friend, Sakura sighed in exasperation and shook her head unwilling to say a word about what bothered her, so instead….
"Are you and Naruto still a couple?" The newly minted orphan questioned, which had Ino losing some of her cheer and apologetically smiling Sakura's way.
"No."
"For how long?"
"A month I guess."
"Why did you not say anything?"
"I was trying to cope with the situation on my own."
"Well, then I am doing the same now."
"I just need time to be alone." Sakura stood up, made her way to the door leading out of Ino's room, and grabbed the handle in a soft grip.
"Wait Forehead, where are you going?!" Ino abruptly stood from her bed and rushed to Sakura's side. "You can't just leave like that, what is going on?" The heiress asked the pink-haired girl.
Sakura twisted, pulled, and stepped out the door before closing it behind her, leaving Ino inside the house.
Sakura walked out of the Yamanaka household in a trance-like state, she was anywhere but with her body. Stepping foot out of the Mind Reader's clan grounds, Sakura found herself in the busy streets of Konoha and joined the crowd.

Her consciousness sat in her mindscape reading through the scroll of the snake clan that brought her back to life. She saw a script there, a very detailed fuinjutsu script, and that's all she could tell about it. Sakura was not savvy to fuinjutsu's inner workings so she only knew how to identify them.
The member of team 8 decided to draw it out when she got home, the thought of home had her reading the next sections of the scroll in anger and frustration.
"WHO ELSE COULD IT BE IF NOT FOR HIM!!" The entity known as INNER SAKURA bellowed with authority.
"THERE IS ONLY ONE RETORT!!" It continued to screech Sakura's ears out with what sounded like gibberish at first.
'Riyuchi Cave.' Sakura was a hell of confused and even more frustrated with the word that robbed her of her sleep now having something to do with her resurrection.
'Orochimaru could explain this to me.' She thought but was again disturbed.
"KILL THE UCHIHA THAT KILLED YOUR FAMILY!!" 'Kill Sasuke? Killed my family!!' At the thought that never surfaced, surfacing. Sakura suddenly found the most likely person to have killed her parents.
'He tried to wipe my whole family from the face of the earth.' Sakura began thinking slowly, forgetting the scroll she was reading and becoming deaf to the entity screaming at her. 'For a moment he did.' SHOCK.
'He killed me and THEN KILLED MY PARENTS!' Sakura stood up suddenly, too shocked by the revelation to stay seated.
"SASUKE-KUN!!!" The pink-haired Haruno and her inner self screamed as one in anger, causing the mindscape they inhabited to flash pink.

"Let the hunt begin." Kabuto whispered in a wicked voice while also going through handseals unnoticed by the spectators around him. They were too busy basking in the social environment the stadium had become, topics flying around like a Whirlpool of events.
'Naruto Uzumaki.' The bold spy thought with his smile widening to sport sharp edges at the ends. The blonde was entertaining, the bold young man had never been so sure of anything before.
'He is much more interesting than Danzō-Sama and Orochimaru-Sama.' Kabuto took a good percentage of his chakra and performed a genjutsu on anyone with no knowledge of how to dispel a genjutsu.
On Kabuto's left was Kimimaru of the Kaguya Clan, the last of his people and the most gifted of the extinct clan. Kimimaru was born with the rare bloodline limit of the Kaguya clan that allows him to control his bones on a molecular level.
On Kabuto's right sat Guren of the crystal release bloodline limit. She was Orochimaru's very first child soldier and the one he had placed his hopes on to become his next vessel.
Kabuto found Orochimaru to be like a spoiled child who wanted anything that shone bright. Guren shone like that once, when she was the most interesting thing her lord knew. When Kimimaru showed up she was discarded tactically with loyalties deep-seated.
Kimimaru too suffered the same fate when their lord gained knowledge of the hidden power of the Sharingan thanks to danzō Shimura. Orochimaru's interest moved away from Kimimaru who was also showing signs of a terminal disease to the Uchiha prodigy, Itachi Uchiha.
Itachi without his knowledge had gained and lost Orochimaru's interest in his potential which was then aimed at the youngest Uchiha heir who had it for a day before the Snake Sanin found himself something that looked and felt like gold in his words.
"Sakura Haruno, I feel sorry for you." Kabuto Yakushi whispered as he slumped on his seat looking to have fallen for his genjutsu.
'Lord Orochimaru is a very evil man.' The spy thought of his master.

Kimimaru was quick to react, stabbing the closest person to him who just so happened to be someone able to dispel a simple E-rank sleep spell illusion. Blood sprayed onto the white-haired boy when a bone he extracted from his knuckles pierced the man through the neck.
Forcing his hand to the side, to slice the man's throat and free his arm. Kimimaru danced like a professional ballerina as he twisted his axes to cut down two civilians' heads clean off just as they were dozing off.
Quickly, Kimimaru moved left, killing anyone in arms reach. A female Chūnin from Konoha jumped in his path hoping to stop him and avenge those he killed. The Chūnin went through handseals before placing her hands on the ground.
Her head dropped to the floor with a thud a moment later, her eyes vacant but still expressing resolve. She died before she knew it, Kimimaru hopped onto her headless shoulders and jumped high just as a Chūnin squad of three rushed him.
"You will pay for that!" A young Chūnin with blonde curly spiking hair exclaimed in anger while also throwing Kimimaru with three Shurikens.
Kimimaru was hit in the chest by two Shurikens and the last landed on his temple. The invading ninja fell from the sky and landed on a dead body looking to be dead himself.
A second Chūnin jumped in quickly, this one a female looking to be in her late teens with long black hair and seductive squinted eyes. She went through handseals and performed a C-Rank genjutsu on her opponent as she exclaimed.
"You will die for what you did! Dream me again jutsu." She created a genjutsu targeted at Kimimaru's struggling form. The Illusion had the bloodline limit user seeing his master Orochimaru, unbeknown to the one who cast the genjutsu it was all the motivation he needed to be extra brutal with the leaf ninjas that betrayed his master.
The Female Ninja continued to approach Kimimaru as her two male teammates did the same. Each with a sharp object in hand ready to pierce the invader. They converged as one all aiming for vital organs but a different sound echoed in the arena, not at all like the sound of metal piercing flesh.
Each member of the Konoha Chūnin squad watched in morbid horror as their kunai broke on contact with the white-haired boy's skin before he turned them all into human pincushions.
Multiple bones grew out of the Kaguya clan member like a spike ball of death, piercing the ones looming above him. Kimimaru made sure they each had a hole right between their eyes so that when he stood, they fell.
There was a shower of blood on Kimimaru's person, bathing him in blood for the second time that day. He did not mind, in the back of his mind the bloodier he became the more rewarding he would feel.
The bone-release user leaped toward the Genin that ran at him in a straight line.

Guren left countless lifeless bodies behind her as she killed civilian fathers, mothers, and children alike. Her bloodline limit aided her in piercing them all with a barrage of sharpened pink crystals.
She jumped high with four sharpened pink crystals coming out of her long-sleeved kimono shirt. Guren twisted in mid-air while releasing her weapons to pierce a group of academy children, she landed serenely with a squat and made a sudden movement.
Guren jumped over a horizontal katana slice from an enraged Itachi Uchiha who had just landed before her, she smirked.
"Even I underestimated your reaction time Uchiha-San," Guren said when she landed next to the slumped body of an elderly woman that leaked blood in small quantities. The blue-haired invader licked the trail of blood originating from a deep gash Itachi managed to land under her right eye from his initial attack.
Spying the other side of the stadium, Guren found that Kimimaru was halted by some Genin of Konoha. She wholeheartedly believed they would not last a minute, the crystal release user refrained from looking at Kabuto's 'Sleeping' form to not arouse suspicions.
Guren coiled her muscles when Itachi twitched, she found his form on her a second later. Tantō glimmering in the evening sky ready to cut down on whoever stood before it's decent.
Guren did the smart thing and moved back, did a twirl to the left, and tried to counter the Uchiha with a crude crystal sword forming around her left arm. She stood in shock when she heard the sound of blade shattering, looking down she stared at the infamous three-tomoe Sharingan.
The Itachi she was about to counter vanished into the air, revealing it to be an illusion he had managed to place her in.
'If not for my armor of crystal he would have finished me already.' The crystal release user thought with a little fear sipping into her psyche.
Guren tried to lean back when the young Jōnin made a move, already inside her guard and with greater reaction time. Itachi caught Guren by the hair and pulled her forward as he came toward her with a shattered Tantō ready to pierce.
Guren just then realized why the Uchiha prodigy was feared, the way he fought. He fought like a man on a mission, there were no wasted movements, He wanted her dead or neutralized as quickly as possible.
There was another distinct sound of blade shattering when Itachi's weapon made contact with Guren's right eye socket but did not pierce it due to her protective crystal outer shell made using transparent crystals.
"I am the worst match for you Uchiha boy! No matter what you do you won't be able to pierce me!!…." Guren received a jumping roundhouse kick to the jaw at the end of her speech. It had her biting her tongue and drawing blood, showing Itachi still had ways to hurt her.
Without the use of hand seals, Itachi's body began to disperse into many crows that flew at Guren with great speed like arrows shot from a bow. The crystal release user quickly formed a hoopla hoop type of construct with her crystals that she took hold of and used to slice the crows converging on her.
Itachi was not letting any information linger too long on his consciousness as he fought, Guren deduced this with a bit of awe at the prodigious display of combat. As a born Shinobi, Itachi Uchiha shows his adaptiveness in many forms of the Shinobi art in seconds.
Guren sliced a crow in half but was not ready for the shuriken that seemed to come out of its form to slice her shoulders but not penetrate her skin. The invader gritted her teeth already feeling frustrated with her opponent being too quick to react to and counter, she was on the defensive ever since the Uchiha made the first move.
Guren concentrated on her crystal release armor with her chakra to heighten its density with but a thought a second before the hope of the Uchiha clan attacked her with a Kunai laced in chakra to sharpen it.
The plan was going well, With Fugaku captured and Itachi now fighting her the third Hokage was left without a guarding detail. The chaos caused around Konoha using tactical gorilla tactics with the aid of Orochimaru-Sama's many tunnels and secret entrances around Konoha.
Guren had hoped she would be able to kill Itachi on her own accord but he was clearly showing her she was not in his league. She would have to stall until Kimimaru handled the Genin who lasted a full two minutes already.
She ducked under a reverse roundhouse kick but got grazed by a crow that tried to pierce her head. Her durability was her advantage against the prodigious Uchiha.

Many leaf nin, from Genin to Chūnin located in the audience viewing section jumped onto the arena floor that had staged the Chūnin exams finals with roars of anger and whales of revenge. On said field, many foreign ninjas sporting the sound village headband came out of hidden passages and quickly went about killing any civilians in sight.
quickly chaos began when an explosion awoke some civilian spectators, Orochimaru could only imagine their shocks, one moment you were having a good time, the next you blinked and it was all-out war.
'Chaos smelles just like blood.' Orochimaru theorized every time he dreamt of this day and it seemed to be true. The Sanin was so happy about the fact the fifth Mizukage requested for the kage's guarding details to be hidden under obscurity.
'Hold it a little longer.' Orochimaru thought with such giddiness and excitement at his old age it just seemed too surreal. The Sanin spied on Hiruzen unable to do anything but watch as his beloved civilians got slaughtered like the lambs they were.
'What makes them so special that we Shinobi have to die for their safety, what makes them so much more precious a life than that of a ninja.' Orochimaru wanted to cause chaos in the world, watch it burn to ashes, and when the chaos ended would it be rebuilt with only the strong.
'I am so close to achieving immortality.' The Snake Sanin was anything but a stupid man, he knew the dangers of the world he dreamt of, Shinobi was a very creative bunch. Full of imagination, Orochimaru wouldn't doubt with time he would fall for their rebellious tendencies.
'The thought of becoming another casualty in a mess I started sounds like the kind of thing people laugh at for generations to come.' The Sanin would not have that, the thought of dying before he could see that world of chaos he dreams of and its results was the driving force for his research on immortality.
The Kages were agitated, Rasa did well to provoke panic amongst the kages to cause chaos and confusion. The Fourth Kazekage threw many scenarios in the wind for his fellow leaders to eat up and dish back as demands toward Sarutobi.
Orochimaru watched Naruto Uzumaki move toward the giant glass barrier in the Kage viewing section and look down toward the chaos below. The Hyūga heiress was fast asleep, Orochimaru played with the thought of killing her just to see what the blonde's reaction would be seeing as he was so open about his feelings for her.
"Naruto-Kun." Hiruzen's call made Orochimaru blink, he wondered what the old man was plotting with that cool facade he put on his visage.
"About that Chūnin Vest and a demonstration on the Talk Anywhere You Are tags." Orochimaru frowned when all the kages seemed to watch Hiruzen like fools when he pulled a wrinkled smile.
"I hereby announce Naruto Uzumaki, a newly minted Chūnin of Konohagaru no Sato." The Sanin's eyes widened behind his hood in absolute shock and confusion, this was not the reaction he wanted from his former Sensei.!
"Nice!" The blonde fist pumped before remembering something. "What about Hinata-Chan." The fifth Mizukage snickered for some odd reason that seemed almost melancholic and filled with hidden emotions. Which had Orochimaru wondering who the man behind the Mizukage hat could be.
"She more than deserves it." The Fifth Mizukage said with a serious tone and with most kages except Rasa agreeing with a nod. The blonde got serious when two Chūnin vests were handed to him and he pulled out a slick-looking Taya in the color Orange, his personal one for use.
"How do you want to do this?" The blonde asked the gathered Kages, he did not seem too happy with the idea of working with Hiruzen but here he was doing it to give his tags greater credibility.
'He wants to use it in the defense of the leaf village.' The Sanin now felt incredulous and very unpleased. 'Don't mess this up for me Uzumaki.'

Orochimaru watched the Hyūga heiress squeak in shock at the sound of multiple explosions sounding out. Her face immediately turned blue in horror at what she felt, the blonde was by her side quickly with both their vests in hand.

Orochumaru has a plan unlike in canon because Fugaku Uchiha was a candidate for the position of fourth Hokage like he was once along with Minato Namikaze.
Orochimaru had to get him out of the way to properly concentrate on the rest of his targets and at the same time enjoy every second of it. First was the sealing of the police station, Second came the chaos. without the police there to handle the civilian populace they would be left dying to the wolves like lambs.
Having fought during the second and third Shinobi wars, Orochimaru knew that planning was a Shinobi's first tool. Execution was the second and surviving the enemy's plan was the last.
Battles between Kage level Shinobi were a different ball game to the instinctual ones Lower ranking Shinobi did. An S-rank Shinobi's every move is planned well ahead of time of execution.

Guren is fighting Itachi Uchiha, the hope of the Uchiha clan. A very very very deadly individual when pissed or fucked with. She is learning quickly why Orochimaru instructed her to fight the genius Uchiha with the aids of Kabuto and Kimimaru who is on the side of the stadium fighting against a group of Genin, who could they be.
Sakura is going through hard times, as she mindlessly treks down the streets of Konohagaru no Sato.
