Chapter 96
Rugal Uchiha Skidded to a stop only to bare his teeth at the sight in front of him. He found himself in the southernmost part of the village Hidden in the leaves after a long police chase. It was a well-maintained park with perfectly shaved grass, a few trees littered the area and a bush of flowers like red roses, white roses, violets, and sunflowers surrounded a very delicately sculpted stone in the center that meant a lot to many in Konoha.
Rash bared his teeth at the sight of the memorial stone being in two pieces, the bottom half still stood intact but the top half was on the ground.
The robust but very strong ninja affiliated with the sound village stood in front of the sacred stone impassively staring back at Rash.
"Do you know the history of this place?! You mongrel, here we come to respect the dead!" Rash bellowed his anger getting the better of him very early in the altercation. The Uchiha police officer threw his left arm to the side theatrically as he balled the other into a fist in fury.
"All those who sacrificed their lives for the village, put their lives on the line so that the next generation can live and strive for a better tomorrow." The Uchiha was whispering to himself now, he felt righteous emotions burning within him that ignited a will of fire that sought justice for the defacing of the memorial stone that also housed his dead father's name.
"You will never see the sun again, you will rot in prison for what you and your companions are doing!" Rash proclaimed broadly as he grabbed his left shoulder where the symbol of the Police force was located.
"Shut up and fight." The invading Shinobi said while grabbing the top half of the memorial stone located next to his right foot with his right hand, his muscles bulging were the only indication of the strain he felt. The sound ninja hurled it at Rash with great force and a heave of effort a moment later.
Rash scratched his scalp which had dandruff flying out of his hair, he slapped his right shoulder with his left hand and left shoulder with his right hand before glaring forward as he opened his arms wide.
The strategist of the Shisui's spread his legs apart to better his center of gravity just as the top half of the memorial stone collided with his form. Rash got pushed back while he dug his legs into the ground, using his leg muscles and chakra to slow the force behind the thrown object.
Rash gritted his teeth, he was not expecting a fat man to throw so hard but then again the same guy was sending civilians flying higher than an eagle could fly so casually that it should have clued him in.
Two trenches were being formed by Rash's ninja sandals as he slowly but surely slowed down the in lighter terms giant brick thrown at him. The policeman was for all intent and purpose kissing the memorial stone as he stopped it and held it in his arms proving his physical capabilities.
Rugal safely deposited the piece of the memorial stone that was almost as tall as him. Rash is short for a Uchiha but he still flexed their biggest muscle with the activation of his three tomoe Sharingan.
"I will enjoy every second you spend behind a one-way mirror." Rash leaped at his opponent with great force and velocity as he reared his left arm back, poising it ready to shoot forward.
"I am Jirōbō of the Sound Ninja Five, the wall that never budges." The sound ninja now identified by name proclaimed as he reared his right arm back. When he shot his forward, it was in response to the police officer doing the same.
Their fists colliding had two effects, one was Rugal Uchiha Aka Rash felt like he punched not a brick wall but a reinforced steel wall made of chakra conductive metal running said energy through it to strengthen it further. Oh, and the other? Well, he was sent blasting off from whence he came screaming unmanly like the whole way there.
Rugal landed on his back roughly while forming another trench on the ground that got deeper and deeper the further he was sent. When he finally stopped he felt sore all over but looking back at his opponent rewarded him with the man changing colors and sporting new features as black markings morphed around his body.
Jirōbōs body began undergoing a more dramatic change, his mohawk grew into a long spiky mane that reached his shoulders. His skin turned a brownish-reddish color, his irises became black eye sclerae with various warts all over his body especially on his face, and forehead.
"I hate transformers," Rash mumbled while bringing his sore left hand toward his thigh to scratch the area. He stood up slowly with a very obvious plan forming in his head.
"Don't try that manga bullshit again with the colliding punches that cave the ground below you, especially not with this guy." Finally standing up straight after digging himself out of the trench he created. Rugal did not waste a second and immediately went through handseals in record time before calling out a jutsu.

Dan Uchiha stopped in front of the Konoha Hospital, he had a bad feeling in his gut as he looked up the length of the building. The invader had entered a second ago and left a golden spider net to block out the front entrance.
Dan did not bother with the abomination in front of him, instead, he ran to the other side of the building and entered by opening the double doors slowly. He found himself in a wing of the hospital that was spacious, Dan heard screams of horror coming from above him on the second floor.
The Officer dashed forward, a sign hanging from the ceiling showed him he had to take a left to find the staircase and he followed it without a thought. The Uchiha Jōnin found what he was looking for not long after and began running up its steps.
Before Dan could kick the door blocking his entrance to the second level of the hospital, the door was abruptly swung open with a screaming woman running out while frantically trying to get something off her.
As a police officer, it was Dan's responsibility to help and protect the citizens of the leaf so he grabbed the woman by her wrist to stop her from running down the stairs in such a manner and maybe breaking her neck if she were to slip.
"What is wrong ma'am?" Dan asked the black-haired civilian nurse with brown hair in a bob style.
"SPIDERS!! SPIDERS EVERYWHERE!!"" She screamed with Dan's arm moving like a viper to grab a small spider sticking out of the woman's hair, crushing it between his thumb and index finger. The woman slapped the spider on her right arm about to take a bite out of her and squashed it.
"Thank you officer-San." She said, Dan nodded and instructed her to slowly make her way down the stairs. He also informed her that the emergency wing of the hospital was free of any arachnids.
Dan of the Kawarimi, opened the door next to him when the woman ran down the stairs and finally stepped inside the second floor of the hospital. It was filled with spider webs and many tiny spiders that crawled on the walls and ceilings.
The Officer dressed in his full uniform did not so much as blink at the two dead bodies on the floor, it was an old man and a young man with the same hair color with froth marks on their mouths and cheeks.
Dan approached the dead bodies that were in purple-like color and closed their lifeless eyes in a show of respect.
The Uchiha stood straight and went through handseals in a second before spewing out a torrent of flames from his mouth that traversed the corridor while burning down every spider in the vicinity, as well as the webs they made.
The Uchiha turned to the right and kicked the door next to him open before his flames ended. He found himself in a patient room, rushing toward the bed in the middle he flipped it over with a grunt and heard a scream of terror come from under it.
"Aghhhhhh!!" There was a crash in the distance coming from where the bed landed with Dan having to lean his head to the side just as a scalpel was thrown at him by an auburn-haired teenage girl he had met before in the hospital.
"Calm down young one." The monotone Uchiha voiced out to the girl about to scramble on her hands and knees to a corner. The medic-nin stopped her movements and looked back to Dan while paying attention to his uniform which had her release a breath of relief.
"I was not scared." The girl asserted but Dan was not the person to tell that because he did not care for the observation.
"Evacuate using the emergency entrance." The officer told the medic in training as he made to leave the room. The young girl tried grabbing his left arm but reflex had him moving it away.
"What do you want." Dan asked.
"I can help!!" The medic ninja exclaimed.
"No, this is an ongoing police chase." The refusal was curt and blunt which had the failed Genin frowning as she looked down in thought.
"But….." she began and got cut off.
"No buts, get a move on." Dan finished and dashed out of the room heading toward the third floor at his fastest speed leaving the girl behind.

Amy huffed out in annoyance at the policeman who declined her aid. She didn't think she was so useless that he would deny her help without a second thought.
"I'm going to help anyway, I will just stay out of his way." The auburn-haired girl nodded at the perfectly stupid idea and rushed out of the patient room following Dan.

Shikaku Nara is a genius strategist, and his talents are known far and wide by many, He once stood on the same pedestal as Minato Namikaze and Orochimaru of the Sanin in terms of intelligence and foresight. The title he held today as Jōnin commander of the leaf Shinobi forces was bestowed to him by the late fourth Hokage himself, meaning the man acknowledged that the Nara's intelligence outweighed his laziness.
The Nara clan head knew he failed Namikaze one too many times but he did not like to live in the past, in his own words those were troublesome times. He would rather work mildly hard for a better future.
"Troublesome." The Jōnin commander sounded out so much like his son would.
"I would use something more deserving, like FUCK." Asuma Sarutobi commented on Shikaku's right, with Guy, Kakashi, and Yamato all agreeing inwardly. They stood in front of the red barrier that had a whole police station hostage with Fugaku nowhere in sight, they would assume he was inside the building.
"Kakashi-San." Shikaku began but Kakashi raised his arms and shook his head.
"I would not know where to start." Kakashi was being honest, it was common sense that a student of a master anything should at least become a master of anything themselves but fuinjutsu had so many branches to study, and master Kakashi never once saw his dead sensei working with barrier seals.
"Anybody?" The Nara continued unbothered, his son would be speaking of how troublesome things were but the older man did not.
Getting negative results from his fellow Jōnins, Shikaku Nara looked up at the sky above. The clouds were getting thick and gaining a darker tint to them, It would be raining soon, a disadvantage if they were to fight a group of earth-style or water-style users.
"Should we try and negotiate with the invaders?" Guy asked having been serious lately due to understanding the Shinobi world was going through a very troubling phase thanks to his youth senses alone.
"We do not negotiate with terrorists Guy-San." Shikaku asserted as he went deep in thought, that the leaf village did not negotiate with terrorists. They were a proud village, no other nation was as proud as the fire nation, which housed the biggest and strongest village In the elemental nations, Konohagaru no Sato.
Anybody who stepped foot in Konoha and did something to terrorize its people died. It was a well-kept tradition that started way back when Madara became its first missing ninja and attacked it a few years later. Only to die by Hashirama Senju, a man willing to kill his best friend to protect not a village but the Will behind it.
The invaders were located inside their little sections of the barrier, looking like they were loitering in front of the police station.
The female had a flute to her mouth, Shikaku deduced she played a horrible tune because many Uchiha were blocking their ears with one thing or another and expressing discomfort.
The other two appeared to be twins to the Nara, one drew on the sand and the other had his hands folded, looking grumpy as he faced their way. The whole time the twin mumbled things Shikaku could not hear or make out because from where he stood the red barrier was blurry and had patterns going up it like flames.
Shikaku performed a hand seal that had his shadow moving left and stretching forward at great speed across the sand and toward a building. Reaching the bakery located across the street, the Nara had his shadow go up its length until it was on the rooftop, a cry was heard a moment later.
"Meow!!!!" A gray cat jumped into view of the Jōnins who looked toward the rooftop. The feline's shadow was connected to Shikaku's own, the Nara clan head did not so much as twitch his interwoven fingers as he controlled the screaming cat.
The cat landed with another confused meow, dashed past all the Jōnin's feet in a scramble, and toward the red barrier that seemed to be made up of red flames. The Sound ninja facing them looked on in shock as the cat ran into the barrier and got burned to ashes by a fire that was the color of blood.
"Somebody get me Jiraiya-Sama." Shikaku turned back to his fellow Jōnins and looked them straight in the eyes. None batted an eyebrow at the act of violence before them, they had all killed many humans before, so there was no way the act of using an animal to gain intelligence would shake any of them.
"I will go." Yamato 'Senju' said calmly before disappearing in a wood-style Shuushine that made it look like he splintered into many wood splinters.
"Now we wait for them to make a move if they have any." The Nara clan head said as he folded his arms and stared at the barrier with squinted eyes of concentration.

There was wide mess panic on the 6th floor of the hospital as nurses, visitors and patients did their best to squat the spiders crawling everywhere including on them. Four bodies lay on the floor with multiple spider bites, two were already dead. An elderly woman, a little child, a male shinobi nurse, and a female civilian nurse were in hiding nursing their spider bites.
"Mulan where are you going!" The male nurse asked the female nurse who tied a belt she took from him around her arm and tried to head for the stairs in a mad dash. The male nurse had dark green hair cut in a high fade and was light-skinned.
Mulan did not answer, she continued running, it is understandable that she is afraid to die, she pushed a little boy in a wheelchair out of her way making said boy fall to his sides without any indication of pain.
The female nurse grabbed the webs blocking her exit and pulled but found them to be unable to budge. She pulled a few more times with all her might, and when she found them not budging she let go, only for her hands to not come loose.
Panic gripped her heart when she heard laughter behind her, she turned her head to look to the source in fear only to get pierced in the cranium by a golden arrow that took her head off her shoulders and pierced it onto a wall he shoulders spraying blood like a fountain.
Mulan's body collapsed under its weight, it only fell to its knees because her stuck hands had her corps hanging on. Slowly small spiders of different breeds and colors approached the dead corps.
The male nurse looked away from the scene in sadness, Mulan was a very close friend of his and Kabuto, and he was sure the now bold Genin/Medic nin would be saddened by the news.
"Ouuu oouuu… up here." He froze at the call coming from above, he and Mulan were hiding behind a surgical table, he should have known her running out would have given away their location. He slowly looked up with fear gripping him like he had a leash around his neck.
The nurse was met with the sharp point of a golden arrow a millimeters from his left eye. The man terrorizing the hospital stood on the metal surgical table with a very wide and sinister grin on his face.
The arrow pierced the nurse's left eye and drilled through his head just as a flame jutsu burned down the webs blocking the stairway and a police officer ran inside.

Dan threw a Kunai at the six-armed sound ninja and went through hand seals. His target cackled as he dodged the Kunai but Dan was not done, with a spike of his chakra the Kunai fell where he stood as he appeared in front of the sound ninja.
The sound ninja's eyes widened in shock, but having six arms had its advantages. He crossed two arms above his chest and tanked a powerful right hook that had him skidding back a few feet.
"Fire style: phénix flame juts!" Dan stopped
In his tracks, a little boy was located behind the sound ninja, on the tiled floor unmoving but expressing panic. The policeman grimaced when the sound ninja looked at the boy as well. He formed a lance with golden goo from his mouth and lanced it at the boy In record time, Dan thought the man had no remorse.
Dan took a deep breath and used almost half his chakra to substitute with the thrown weapon. The Kawarimi as an E-rank technique only meant one thing, it was low chakra cost. The technique was meant to aid in exchanging places with inanimate objects it also helped that you could picture the object accurately.
The lance found itself where Dan once was now facing the sound ninja and fast approaching. Dan hugged the little boy tightly and made for the staircase now heading down.
"MOTHERFUCKER!!!! SHIT!!" Dan would take that as an affirmative that his gamble worked. The stunt cost him a lot of chakra because the object he switched places with was fast-moving and seemed to weigh in the kilos.
"Woah so much blood." The kid in his arms let curiosity kill his fears as he looked over Dan's shoulder to see that the sound ninja was pierced by the golden lance and lost an arm in the process.
"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!!! IF MY NAME IS NOT Kidōmaru OF THE SOUND NINJA FIVE!!!!" Dan took it as another affirmative that he now had the now-named sound ninja's attention.
"hey mister, mister police-San, the bad man is coming." Dan sighed and sped up. The child did not understand his life was in danger or the fact he was a nuisance to Dan at the moment.
"Put your head down kid." Dan's boring voice sounded out, and its stern tone had the little kid………..Dan's eyes widened when he ran past the auburn-haired girl from earlier, their eyes met and he saw the surprise in her eyes as well. The Officer slid to a stop, ran back toward her, and placed her under his arms now dashing madly down the stairs.
It was a procedure to ensure civilians' safety quickly and efficiently, having the Sound ninja chase after him gave him extra time to get the two rascals in his arms to safety and return to help any other left behind. For now, they would have to work on the spiders on their own.
Dan also had the opportunity to see that the young man he had been chasing had gone through a transformation that had him looking even more spider-like. The wound from his missing limb was closed off by golden webbing meaning the young invader now only sported five arms, three on the right side and 2 on the left side.
Black markings spread across his entire body in twisted, entwining lines, until it started morphing his body.
Kidōmaru's skin became dark red, he gained yellow irides with dark black sclerae, elongated canine teeth, and fingernails. His hair becomes longer and turned grey, In addition to this. Kidōmaru gained horns on his forehead, shoulders, and elbows, and his mouth became wider.
His forehead protector fell off his head and an eye was revealed to be hidden behind it. The eye opened in anger and seemed to zoom in on Dan as the wall-crawler crawled on the adjacent white wall toward the Officer at great speed while chewing on golden silk.
Dant turned around to face the incoming barrage of sharp weapons with his three tomoe Sharingan active. He began weaving through the barrage with prediction abilities to escape the golden webbing Kidomaru shot out of his mouth in the form of sharp needles.
Dan faced back forward and ran when the barrage stopped with Kidōmaru having to take catch his breath. Dan turned and ran down another flight of stairs on the wall he passed he found the weapons deeply embedded inside the white walls of the hospital with the others shattering a window.
"He will pay….." Kidōmaru whispered still practically fuming in anger. The transformed young invader jumped through a broken window to find himself outside the hospital. He began crawling up its vertical surface on his hands and feet at great speed heading toward the rooftops.

'Something must have happened back at headquarters, backup should have been here by now.' Rugal thought while making a beeline for the right, his opponent was an earth-style user which meant the longer their altercation lasted the more unrecognizable the surrounding area would become.
Rash had given up on preserving the memorial stone after being sent through the lower half. Now its pieces lay everywhere in different shapes and sizes that held more than ten names or none at all.
The robust sound ninja leaped up and came down performing a two-armed haymaker aimed at the muscular Uchiha Officer. Rash leaped back and away from the blow that raised a plum of dust and cratered the ground below.
In his landing, he threw three Shurikens into the dust screen just as the sound ninja came running out of it. The Shurikens bounced harmlessly off the orange-skinned invader as he rushed forward, his steps leaving indentations on the ground.
He was slow, Rash figured this out a while back as he dodged a right hook, a left hook, a grab, and finally another haymaker by weaving to the left before delivering a devastating punch to the Jirōbō'sr rib that hurt him more than it did the invader who barely registered the blow as he twisted with his left arm outstretched ready to bash the back of his fist against the officer's face.
Rash moved with the blow, his Sharingan predicted the action and his body reacted to it. The muscular Uchiha grabbed the offending arm while leaping back, consequently dragging the sound ninja with him and making him lose balance.
"You so fat!!!" Rash exclaimed with effort as he now spun the big man by the arm twice before throwing him away. Rash jumped after the man and reached him while still in mid-air with both legs outstretched, he landed a double dropkick to the man's chest and sent him further away.
When the invader landed, he crumbled into rocks, Rugal's eyes widened before he received a devastating punch to the back of the head. The blow had Rash blacking out as he flew far and away limply, he fell on his sides, twisting and turning, damaging his uniform in the process and when his momentum stopped, he lay there unmoving.
The sound ninja smirked, finally showing emotions on his stoic, robust face. The Officer did not move from where he lay, there was no sound in the field they battled in as the sound ninja approached Rugal's still body.
"Weakling who are you calling fat." The robust invader spat out physically, revealing his saliva was mixed with blood. Reaching the unmoving body of the police officer Jirōbō raised it by the crook of its neck and reared his arm down while squatting before throwing up with all his might as he jumped a little in effort.
Rugal's body was launched up with great force that transformed into great velocity, the limp body broke the sound barrier in its ascension and reached higher than an eagle could fly in a matter of minutes only to knock its head against said eagle.
"W-wha-What…" Rugal awoke with a start, a second later he held the side of his head when he felt a lot of pain in the area. He realized quickly the area was wet and warm meaning he was bleeding, On his left he spotted an eagle flying away in a hurry.
'I wonder what it is doing down here?' Rash thought in bewilderment, he tried to reach out for the ground so he could push himself up but he did not touch land. Instead, his body found a new position to fall back to earth now head first.
"AAAGHHHHHHHHHHAGHHHHHHHHH AAAGHHHHHHH!!!!" Rugal got the answer to what he always wanted to know, why do people scream when facing great heights? It was funny really, just earlier today he was annoyed at a civilian screaming in his face. Now he felt like he could use the face to scream at, like bro do you know what he is going through?
"Aghhhhhh AGGHHFHHHHGHH!!! FuuuuuuuCKKKKKKKAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!! SHIIIIIIIIIITTTTT!" The wind blowing around him was strong so Rugal's now random bouts of cursing were unheard even by whoever might be listening from what he now realizes is very great heights.
He was scared, Rugal did not know how he would survive the fall. There was nothing he could do, he was a fire-style user, and fire did not make people fly. His second affinity was water but he never gave it a try, saying the style was feminine in nature.
The ground was fast approaching, and the momentum Rugal built falling had the wind around him press his body together like it was being pressed through a tight space. Rugal did not know if it was the wind in his eyes or the fear in his heart that had him dropping tears.
Rash accepted that he would have to be scrapped off the ground come tomorrow just as his skull met……..nothing. Instead, He felt like he was under a mother's protective hold when he was swept from the sky.
There was turbulence and a lot of turning going on, even under that 'mother's protection. Rugal still got scrapes and cuts on his person before finding his face between two soft things.
'I am not dead?' Rugal thought as he opened his eyes and looked up only to meet red irises connected to a beautiful face that raised an eyebrow. Rash scratched his stomach and let his eyes gloss over in happiness at getting what he wished for the whole way down from higher than an eagle can fly.
"AaaaAggghhhhhh!!!!! AGHHHHHH!!!!!" Rash
Screamed in Kurenai Yui's face like a looney, he needed to vent out his stress. Rash from that day on was scared of heights seeing he got traumatized by it.
"Calm down Uchiha-San." Kurenai calmed him and Rash thought what would she know about what he has been through? Rugal heaved twice exaggeratedly and took in a deep breath before screaming again.

The captured police officers were acting weirdly inside the barrier, no sound passed through but Kakashi figured it was due to the tune the female invader played. There were random civilians in the area looking on from the sidelines, giving the barrier a wide breath.
Kakashi Hatake paid close attention to the three officers stepping out of the police station. It was Fugaku Uchiha, Shisui Uchiha, and Izumi Uchiha, they all seemed fine but as soon as they stepped out they blocked their ears in one way or another.
"Kakashi-San." The former Anbu captain nodded at Shikaku Nara and moved forward, approaching the barrier in a walk. On the other side of the barrier, Shisui approached as well when they were both standing in front of the barrier they began to speak in codes.
Kakashi made hand signals with Shisui doing the same, the Hatake with gravity-defying hair asked for a report and Shisui responded by saying it was dire but Shisui signaled that Fugaku had a plan.
When Kakashi made to return to the Nara and report what he learned there was a big explosion that went off in the distance very close to the Hokage tower. Guy was instructed to go investigate and he quickly dashed in that direction.
Approaching Shikaku Nara and Asuma Satutobi, Kakashi regaled to the two his findings. He looked to the civilians watching from the sidelines and grimaced inwardly, the police force were the ones to evacuate civilians during times of unrest. With them unavailable to enforce order, the people of Konoha were free to do as they pleased which included satisfying their curiosity by coming to the front lines.
"We need to do something about them." Kakashi voiced to the two Jōnin's next to him. Asuma looked at the people Kakashi stared at and sighed as he lit a cigarette and blew out a puff of smoke.
"I'm on it." The former member of the fire lord's guardians said while turning around to walk toward the civilians who didn't run away at the sight of him approaching them.
