In this story as implied in the Prologue, all the Spanish territories were under British before Olympus broke free of colonial rule.

So, all of the south of U.S.A is Zeus's New Greece. Except, present-day Florida and Mexican regions are part of Poseidon's Atlantis and The Central America and the northern regions of present-day South America like French Guinea was under Hades's Nether World. It was famous as the Underworld due to its sheer number of criminals. Together their kingdoms were called Olympus. British territories still exist in Northern USA.

January, 1700s, Florida,

Look, Percy Jackson didn't want to be a Pirate or a Royal's son. Being a Pirate or a Heir is dangerous but being both is even more so, because most of the time, it gets you killed in painful, nasty ways. My advice is to close this story and stop reading immediately. Another reason for doing that is the story may or may not be good. Still, I envy you for thinking this is just a fanfiction. Don't say, I didn't warn you. Until half year ago, Percy was a 15 year-old living in Everglades City, Florida. Florida was ruled by Poseidon but it was never given any importance.

"Hey, Valdez!" said Percy as he slumped into a seat of a table, "You got any important rumour that could potentially change our world? This time it should be believable." "Um Percy, you know that this a bar right?" a 16-year old Leo replied, "You are not 16 yet." "Don't worry, I am not going to drink anything," Percy said as he took a sip of Leo's drink. "Rumours have it that the English are going to attack Olympus soon by starting with here, Florida," Leo said, "But don't worry, amigos, I will overwhelm them with my charm."

Percy saw a man wearing a large cloak hiding his face staring at him from another table. He turned his attention to Leo. Leo was extremely useful, he knew every talk of most of the America. "That would be because your charm is scary," replied Percy, "But it makes sense since Florida is under King Poseidon but disconnected from Atlantis."

"That is not the only reason. The first British Colony in America was Virginia but the first British Colony existing in Olympus was Florida," Zoe Calypso* spoke up, "They are trying to reclaim. And of course, your reasoning is correct too. It will take time for Atlantis's main forces to reach Florida. British are harmfully clever." "But still New Greece will help Atlantis, right?" Percy asked.

Leo shook his head, "Let's put it like this. After the Golden Chain events which led to the distribution of territories between Olympus among the Royal Three** brothers, their relationship has been bazooka-ed." Percy and Zoe Calypso were silently trying to understand what kind of English Leo was speaking.

"I mean that when King Poseidon and King Hades taught the High King a lesson and forced their younger brother to be a better ruler, Zeus thought that they weren't grateful and jealous of himself. Hades was surprised when he learnt that Zeus thought so lowly of them and has been keeping a grudge against King Zeus from years. This shook apart their relationship which also caused the division of territories between them. And of course, King Zeus took the most fertile areas. Poseidon who is on par with Zeus's drama, enraged that King Zeus wanted to split the brothers, took Florida from Zeus," Leo continued explaining. "Percy! Percy! Where are you?" Percy heard Grover yell from afar. "See you later, guys!" Percy said as he jumped out of his, almost tripped on air and sneakily ran outside.

Grover was calling him and Percy couldn't let him know where he was. Grover was Percy's best friend and lived with him and his mother, Sally. Grover had met Percy under bad circumstances and they had bonded quickly. So he sneaked from the other side and crossed onto the next street to reach behind Grover. He almost ran towards him before he saw what was happening.

A noble sitting in a carriage was insulting Grover, "Hey! Why are you yelling so loudly. Guess we will have to just shup up your mouth forever." It was a girl's voice. She said something to the guard riding on the horse. "Yes Duchess Bobofit." Percy almost rolled up laughing at her name until he saw the guard get down and pull out a sword. Grover fell on his back in fear. Percy was going to run towards him before someone held his shoulder back.

Percy turned to the man from earlier wearing a large cloak hiding his forehead and eyes. The man shushed and moved towards the carriage. "What are you doing?" the man asked the guard in a calm voice. The guard replied scornfully, "Uh huh. And who are you supposed to be?" In response, the man lowered his hood allowing the guard to properly see his face. The guard stepped back and sheathed his sword, "We are so sorry, Duke Brunner. We were just joking, sir. We will get out of here as as fast as we can."

Before carriage went away, Mr. Brunner gave the Duchess one last glare as if telling her to be under her limits. Percy stepped out. "Are you okay, man?" The duke asked Grover. Grover nodded and Percy thanked him. "So, you are a noble. You must live in big estates. I wish I could live in a house like yours," Percy told him. At that, Mr. Brunner just winked.

"I have come to check the rumours about the English attacking Olympus starting with the its most outstretched area," said Mr. Brunner, "I believe the rumours are true. Our spies in Britain also think so. Why don't you come with me at my temporary estate?" Percy was going to agree but Grover spoke up, "That will not be necessary, sir! We will be on our way! Mrs. Jackson is calling Percy for dinner." "I suppose," Mr. Brunner nodded solemnly. But Percy wasn't going to allow that.

"We will come with you," Percy contradicted Grover. Mr. Brunner's eyes lit up. Percy dragged Grover with him. The estate was in the corner of the coast of the city. It had a good view of the Gulf from there. They also had dinner there which made Percy feel guilty. After about an hour, Mr. Brunner checked his watch. Watches were a new thing and only the rich possessed it. "You should go," Mr. Brunner's voice broke Percy out of his trance.

Percy and Grover reached home very late. They knocked at the door of their house. They lived in a decent house on rent. Sally worked as a vegetable vendor in the city. At first, they lived in an extremely short hut until Percy was 7 but when Grover came, both of them started helping Sally. It increased her salary.

They got enough money to live in a decent house. Sally could also afford sending Percy and Grover to local classes held in a house few blocks away. They joined a year late so everyone in his class finished the school at 14 whereas they finished at 15. Percy had been enjoying his time after the end of school for the last month. He was a troubled kid in school and was happy once school had ended. Grover was the quite and shy type who could be bullied easily. But he could easily tell if someone was lying. That is why Percy had to be careful of him.

But right now, nobody was answering the door. Grover started biting his nails. Percy tried to push open the door but it didn't work. It was bolted and locked but from outside and the latch was open. They walked around the house to find an open entrance and they found an open window. They saw the pot with food still being made with fire but it was disbalanced. All the tools were scrambled. The house was a mess. Percy quickly thought of the wood still burning and stopped it. "They left in a hurry," said Percy. Both of them knew what happened.

Grover nodded and pointed towards the open window, "Especially, because of that. They latched the door and broke the latch but didn't notice the open window." After a moment of silence, Percy spoke up, "It's my fault. If we had returned earlier. This wouldn't have happened." "Percy don't blame yourself. What if she just hastily left to get something and is returning soon," Grover said. "I want to believe that but with the condition of that door, I am not so sure," replied Percy.

"It's also my fault," Grover said, "If I hadn't yelled that loudly. Duke Brunner would have never come to help, saving us time and we wouldn't even have a chance to go to his house." "Or if, I hadn't gone to the bar," confessed Percy. Grover was shocked. Percy continued, "But it was because I wanted to meet Leo Valdez and he happened to be sitting there. Nobody checks if you are 16. Besides that, I am about to 16 in August." "You are not lying. So, I guess it is your fault. But that doesn't change the fact that I bring misfortune to those near me," responded Grover. Percy retorted, "What does that mean?"

"Nothing," Grover told him, "Leave it. Let's think about who could have done this." "That would be a waste of time," said Percy, "Wait! What if we ask the nearby houses if anyone saw anything?" "That is a good idea," said Grover. They climbed out of the window and ran towards the nearest houses.

They found out that they had only seen a carriage go. The nearest house had also heard things fall but no screams, probably, because she was attacked from behind. "So a royal must have done this," said Grover, "They sure knew when to strike. We were outside and there were no witnesses. But why would they even do this?" Percy thought about it a moment. Grover spoke up, "We should revisit all our time away from the house."

"We did see a duchess in a carriage and they were not exactly happy seeing you," Percy replied. Grover said, "Yes, but, I only had been away from the house for less than 10 minutes." Percy thought how he had seen the duke watching him keenly, helping him and then offering them dinner at that house. Percy's eyes widened. "Wait!" Percy explained, "Mr. Brunner kept us away from our house until he was sure that the deed had been done. He definitely played a part in this." Grover thought about it and said, "He did check his watch before letting us go." "Come with me," said Percy. "Where are we going?" Grover asked. Percy replied, "We are going to confront that duke about this and make him tell us where mom is." Grover hesitated for some reason but went along with him.

When they reached Mr. Brunner's house, the guards didn't let them enter. They insisted that Mr. Brunner has gone somewhere. Percy was not going to allow that. He turned and and ran towards the door but it was bolted. The guard caught him and threw him outside. "I am sure that's what Mr. Brunner meant when he said their gates were open anytime for them. Ironic, don't you think?" Percy grumbled as they walked along the South-Western coast of Florida.

They went to a higher altitude. They could see the Sea south of Florida and north of Cuba. Both were under Atlantis. The sea between Cuba and South America led to Caribbean. Both the exits from the Gulf were under control of King Poseidon. Then Percy thought that actually most of Gulf was accessible to Poseidon. Percy blinked at what he saw. He could see Cuba from Florida which was impossible because they were in Everglades City which is not even the most southern point of Florida.. Then, it disappeared. "So who is going to the market tomorrow?" asked Grover. "Depends on who continues the investigation," replied Percy. Grover answered first, "I will take upon the investigation." After a moment, Percy reluctantly agreed, "Sure." Then they went to sleep.

That night Percy had a vivid dream. It was storming on the beach, and two beautiful animals, a white horse and a golden eagle, were trying to kill each other at the edge of the surf. The eagle swooped down and slashed the horse's muzzle with its huge talons. The horse reared up and kicked at the eagles wings. As they fought, the ground rumbled, and a monstrous voice chuckled somewhere beneath the earth, goading the animals to fight harder.

Percy ran toward them, knowing he had to stop them from killing each other, but he was running in slow motion. He knew he would be too late. Percy saw the eagle dive down, its beak aimed at the horse's wide eyes, and he screamed, No! Percy woke with a start because of a knock.

He opened the door and saw a man, "Um...I was asking if you are no longer putting a stall in market. Because, I really need that space for my stall. I mean it is a very good place to put up a stall so, I was hoping..." I told him that it was not true and woke Grover up. "Well we have earn someway or the another. Let's talk to him," said Grover.

Grover walked up to the man and said, "See...I am sorry, man. We have to earn someway right. So...we are going to set up our stall back. We were just um... a little late." The man nodded and walked away. Then Grover said, "Percy! Why didn't you go to the market. If only people could be as polite as that man. Other people would have already taken the place."

"Well it's not my fault that we were up till midnight yesterday. Beside it is only 9. We are less than 4 hours late. And why do you always get so shy talking to anyone except me." shrugged Percy. "Percy! Four hours! Come on, I will help you," said Grover.

They were managing the stall in the market by 11 in the morning. People hushed through the market buying things. A burly man came-up to him. He was wearing a white vest and a black coat. "Give me all your vegetables," the man said. "What?" Percy managed to say. "I am doing you a favor, kid," the man told them again. Percy was going to tell him that he was 15 but just quietly packed the vegetables and spices when Grover calculated. "That would be 100 drachmas***," Grover told him.

"What is he going to do with all that?" asked Grover. Percy thought that probably seeing kids in stalls instead of an adult made him do this. "Well atleast today's stock is sold," reasoned Percy, "I think it will last for today and tomorrow if we only spend on food." Grover nodded. They were on their way to home when they saw Mr. Brunner in the same cloak as yesterday. They followed him all the way to the south-western coast of the city.

"Why does it seem that the Duke is a rebel?" said Percy. Grover thought about it for a moment and said, "Well that is a good thing. He could help your mom." That increased Percy's suspicion. Not on Mr. Brunner, on Grover Underwood. He always seemed to be thinking before speaking a lot nowadays. Which he always did because he was mostly shy, but this time him thinking more was related to hesitation. His hesitation was increasing very much. He hesitated as if he was trying to hide something and not reveal it.

They saw the duke sneakily entering a ship. Percy admired it for a moment. It had 5 masts each with billowing sails that could propel the ship forward and it had a dolphin figure head****. The ship was of a decent size. Percy thought it was a Pirate ship. But why would a duke go in a pirate ship unless...he wanted to catch them. Especially, if he was undercover. He told Grover, "We should go and let the duke complete his undercover mi..." He saw Grover was stunned and looking at someone behind them. He turned and saw a big burly man attack him.

*Yes I made them one character

Royal Three** is this story's version of Big Three.

100 drachmas*** I think, are equivalent to present day 25 dollars

(SPOILERS) Dolphins**** are associated with Dionysus

I want to adapt TLT, SOM and TTC in this. Let's see if I am able to do that. Yes the titans are the English because I can't show Kronos alive again.
