"It was the year 1939, they appeared all over the world without warning. We call them Neuroi. Nobody know where they came from or what they want, but the hell they brought drove us all from our countries. From our cities. They drove us from our homes.
Mankind came up with a new weapon to fight the Neuroi and began to stand and fight. The Striker Unit a device that hightens natural magical ability. The only thing capable of combating the Neuroi. This modern witches broom made individual flight possible, but only for a select few who possess the power. A call went out to witches across the world to lend their skills to the battle. This elite task force organized to fight the Neuroi was named the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, but these young women are known by another name simply called the Strike Witches, that is until one of the identical twin daughters of Dr. Miyafuji, a researcher renowned as the "Father of Striker Units," is revealed to be a boy. This is the story of those twins."
Several witches was flying through the air when one of them with black hair, one black eye, and a patch over her other eye lifted up her eye patch. One of her eyes appeared a purplish-pink.
"There it is," the black haired Fuso witch said. "Climb fifteen thousand at my two o'clock. In the clouds." she order.
"Yes Major," another witch with red hair and brown eyes said. "All Units engage the Neuroi. Formation Bravo." she order.
They started flying around for a little while until they got nearby the Neuroi.
"Strike witches attack now," the Karlsland witch said. The witches started attacking the Neuroi using their skills. Soon the core was revealed and the Karlsland witch turned to the Major.
"Finish it off," Karlsland witch said.
"Copy," the Major said before looking back to a Blond Gallian witch. "Perrine your with me." she order.
"Right," the Gallian witch now known as Perrine said.
They then flew off before the Major took down the Neuroi.
Strike Witches: The Miyafuji Twins
Chapter 1
Magical Twins
As the final school bell rang, signaling the end of another long day at Yokosuka 4th Girls-only Middle School, the PA system blared out, "School has ended for the day girls. Any students still on campus grounds should go home at this time." A wave of excitement rippled through the crowd of young girls as they began to disperse, some chattering away excitedly about their plans for the afternoon, others already hurrying toward the gates.
One group of girls, however, stood on the foot of the cliff all wearing a navy blue swimsuits with a white sailor-fukus with a navy blue tie and had on white shoes to go with the outfit. One of them, Michiko Yamakawa, called out, "Don't do it, Yoshika and Yoshimi! It's too scary!"
It panned to a pair of identical twin 'girls' with brown hair and brown eyes in their teens wearing the same outfit as that of the other girls on a tree branch on the cliff. This was Yoshika and 'Yoshimi' Miyafuji, but they weren't identical twins, nor was the second 'girl's' name actually 'Yoshimi'. Yoshiki is Yoshika's fraternal twin brother, and they looked so similar that a large number of people thought they were identical twin sisters. "Do you two want me to call the teacher?" Michiko asked, looking concerned.
The twins in question were, in fact, rescuing a black cat, which had climbed up the tree on the cliff and was now unable to come down. "No, we're okay!" Yoshika called out with her brother nodding as the twins crawled on the branch
'We can do this...' Yoshika and Yoshiki thought as the female twin tried to reach for the cat but she lost her grip and started to fall off, Michiko cover her face with both hands in despair thinking she lost one of her friends when leaves fall and she looked up to see that Yoshika is hanging on the branch with Yoshiki grabbing her arms, "I got you Yoshika!" Yoshiki shouted his voice sounds exactly like his sister's.
"T-thanks, Yoshiki!" she thanked him quietly that only Yoshika and Yoshiki could hear as Yoshiki nodded to his sister. "Yoshika! Yoshimi! That's enough! Get down here!" Michiko called to the twins as Yoshika and Yoshiki tried to get the former back on the branch.
When Yoshika got back on the branch the twins breath heavenly as Yoshika called back to Michiko, "Not yet just a little bit farther!" As she and Yoshiki still hugging the branch.
Yoshika and Yoshiki then got back up as the cat mewed before speaking, "Alright almost there."
"Be careful," Michiko whispered.
Yoshika and Yoshiki got closer to the cat Yoshiki got on his sister's back as she said, "Okay! You're going to be alright now!"
Yoshiki nodded as he started to say, "Now let's get you down from..." he was interrupted as the branch they're on started to break because the combined weight of Yoshika and Yoshiki, and the twins screamed.
The branch fell as Michiko shouted, "Yoshika! Yoshimi!" As it reveal that the twins' sailor-fukus was caught on the broken branch and Yoshika caught the cat as it meows "Yoshika! Yoshimi!" Michiko called out.
"That was close!" Yoshika said, "Great catch, Yoshika." Yoshiki said as both twins realized that they're stuck. "Someone help us!" the twins called out as they struggled. "Hang on, I'll get the teacher!" Michiko shouted.
A few minutes later, Yoshika and Yoshiki and their friend Michiko stood in front of their school with the twins having depressed looks.
"Did she yell at the both of you?" Michiko asked the twins.
"Well, what's wrong with trying to save a pour kitten's life!" Yoshika said comfortability as she turned to her identical brother, "Isn't that right, Yoshiki?" she asked as her brother nodded, "That's right, Yoshika." He said, meaning Michiko knows Yoshiki's true name and gender.
"I suppose that's why I like the both of you so much." Michiko said, "Both of you are always trying to do things if you have already grown up." She finished as the twins laughed as they scratched the back of their heads while they blushed.
Michiko saw someone coming up to them. "Grandpa!" she shouted as she waved.
"Hello! Michiko!" he called back he comes over in his watermelon wagon and pick the her and the twins up from Yokosuka 4th Girls-only Middle School as they rode over to town the twins and Michiko in the back talked as they talked it was reveal that the three were have been classmates and friends since childhood so meaning Michiko is one of the few people to know that Yoshika and Yoshiki are fraternal twins and are sister and brother and can tell them apart.
"That's amazing!" Michiko exclaimed.
Yoshika, and Yoshiki giggled and replied, "We know!"
When the watermelon wagon comes up to town, Michiko saw the Akagi a warship in the dock and talked about it
"Wow that ship is huge! It's got to be the battleship they said was coming!" Michiko exclaimed,
"Battleship?" the twins asked,
"Yeah!" Michiko answered them.
Yoshika and Yoshiki looked at it, "A ship that's made only for war." the twins said said as they turned around, "Don't like it." they added.
Michiko knows what's up, sit back down next to the twins, "Because of your father?" she asked the twins,
"Mmm hmmm," Yoshika and Yoshiki said as they nodded as they spoke again, "He left when we were six. It's been hard without him." the twins explained as it goes to a flashback.
Flashback
A six year old Yoshika and Yoshiki wearing different clothes with Yoshika wearing a blouse and Yoshiki wearing boy clothes stood in the shadow of their father, "Where are you going, Daddy?" the twins asked, "You said you would take us to our first day of school tomorrow." they continued.
It showed the twins' father Ichiro Miyafuji, "I'm sorry Yoshika and Yoshiki, but I've got important work to do. If I can succeed, we finally defeat the Neuroi, but." he said as he kneeled down to his twin children, "But when I'm finished, I'll never leave you two again." He finished.
It made the twins happy, "Really?! You've going to stay with us forever?" they asked.
Ichiro put out his pinky, "Yes, I promise."
He tuned to Yoshiki, "Yoshiki, you'll be the man of the house while I'm gone." he said as Yoshiki nodded as he and his sister put in a pinky promise with their father.
"Yoshika and Yoshiki know that you two got a great power inside the both of you just like your mother and grandmother, promise me that when you two grow up you'll use that power to protect everyone." Ichiro said.
Yoshika and Yoshiki nodded, "Okay, we'll promise." the twins said.
Present
Back in the present, Yoshika and Yoshiki talked again.
"That was the last time we saw our dad." the twins said as they had sadden faces. "What did come back was his death certificate and a bag of his personal effects three years later." the twins continued as Michiko looked away from Yoshika and Yoshiki, "They say his cause of death was classified military information so we never found out what happened. One thing we know for sure is that if it weren't for the war, our dad would be home with us now." The twins ended their explanation.
Somewhere else nearby someone was looking at the twins and Michiko through binoculars.
"So those are the twin girls?" a male voice said, not knowing that Yoshiki is a boy.
"Yes, Yoshika and Yoshimi Miyafuji." A woman voice came in also, not knowing Yoshiki's true name and gender as it reveals two Fusoans.
"They certainly don't look like they have anything special." the man with fuso military cap, white shirt and brown short hair said,
"Their academics are average, their athletic is average, the only place they seem to be excel at is cooking?" The woman was looking at the information of the twins and got confused at the last part.
"Do you really believe they're our leading candidates?" the man asked as he put down the binoculars he was looking though, "Major Sakamoto, what we do now huh?" he asked.
It showed the Major now with the last name Sakamoto tuned to the man, "Wait and see." she said.
Back to the wagon things were going smoothly until a dog shows up in front of the wagon, making Michiko's grandfather to swerve to get out of the way as the twins and Michiko cry out.
"Michiko!" Yoshika and Yoshiki shouted as they reached out to her, as Michiko fell out of the wagon and the wagon crashed.
Sakamoto saw this turns to the man, "Hijikata!" she shouted.
The man now with the last name Hijikata shifts the jeep into drive as they drive to the crash.
At the crash Yoshika and Yoshiki landed face first on the ground they sat up and rubbed their butts as Michiko's grandfather's voice shouted, "Michiko!"
The twins heard it as they ran over to a hill to see Michiko lying on the ground holding her chest.
"Michiko wake up!" Michiko's grandfather's voice shouted again, "Oh no!" The twins cried as they ran down the hill to Michiko and he grandfather, "Michiko no!" Yoshika and Yoshiki shouted.
They tuned their friend over to show that Michiko had blood on her sailor-fuku, Michiko opened her eyes as she mourned, "Yoshika Yoshiki? Please, it hurts so much!" she said with tears in her eyes.
"Don't try to talk!" The twins say to her as Yoshika rips Michiko's sailor-fuku and the twins hold their hands over Michiko as blue light came out of their hands and the twins closed their eyes as they grew Mameshiba ears on their heads and Mameshiba tails as the blue light grew bigger.
Sakamoto and Hijikata drove up in their jeep up to the crash and ran over the hill as they looked.
"What's that?" Hijikata asked.
"A healing spell." Sakamoto answered as Hijikata turns to her, "One of the most powerful." Sakamoto continued as it panned to the twins' healing spell. "They're having trouble controlling it." Sakamoto also said
The twins breathing heavenly. 'Our power!' The twins thought as they began to faint when Sakamoto put each of her hands on each twins' shoulder.
"Calm down, Miyafujis!" she ordered as Yoshika and Yoshiki looked back at her, "Concentrate!" Sakamoto ordered the twins again.
Yoshika and Yoshiki turned around and concentrated, "Relax and breathe into it!" Sakamoto ordered, "Let the spell do the work you're in control of the magic!" she finished as the twins do that.
'We are in control!' Yoshika and Yoshiki thought as the spell finished and the twins fainted.
Miyafuji Clinic
Later, at the Miyafuji Clinic home of Yoshika and Yoshiki, the twins woke up.
"Michiko!" they shouted.
The twins then heard a voice, "She's going to be fine."
The twins look over and see their mother and grandmother.
"Mom?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked as it showed that they are using the same magic as the twins are using on Michiko and also have Mameshiba ears on their heads, "We closed the wound and there won't be any scaring." Sayaka the twins' mother said.
"Well, that's good news." Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
"Apparently, you two still haven't figured out how to control your powers. Remember, your feelings mustn't control the both of you." Yoshiko the twins' grandmother said as it made the twins look down in disappointment.
When the healing on Michiko the Mameshiba ears on Sayaka and Yoshiko heads are gone as Yoshiko turn to her grandchildren.
"I understand the youthful impulse to help everyone." Yoshiko said as Sayaka also turns to Yoshika and Yoshiki, "But if you two don't learn how to direct these energies we possess the both of you will overextend and end up paying with your life." Yoshiko explained as she walks up to the twins
"We're sorry, we just want-" Yoshika and Yoshiki said and turned the their grandmother, "We want learn how to save peoples lives like you two! We know that we can do it, " the twins said as they looked at their hand and put out their pinkies, "Besides..."
Yoshika and Yoshiki said as it flashback to when the twins pinky promise with their father.
"We made a promise." The twins said.
Sakamoto's voice called out, "Don't lose heart!" she said.
"Yeah." Yoshika and Yoshiki said as the looked to their right and gasped to see Sakamoto is there.
"Your natural talent is incredible once you two learn how to use it there's no way you two won't develop into great witches!" she said with a fist.
This makes the twins confused "Wait witches?" they asked as they got mad a Sakamoto.
"And just who are you anyway?" Yoshika and Yoshiki also asked.
"Oh I'm so sorry I forgot to introduce myself, I am a member of a elite squad the 501st Joint Fighter Wing also know as the Strike Witches, Major Mio Sakamoto." Sakamoto now with the fist name Mio explained.
"Ah, oh hello." the twins said.
"She is the one who carried you two and Michiko back here to the clinic Yoshika and Yoshiki." Sayaka explains to them.
"Carried?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked.
"We've been searching across the globe with witches with great magical potential an a possible future with us, I was able to witness both your powers firsthand, they are focused and very powerful." Mio said as both twins blushed and bowed.
"Thank you!" the twins said as they laughed.
But Mio realized what Sayaka said and turned to Yoshiki, "Say Yoshimi, why did your mother call you Yoshiki if you're a girl?" she asked him as it gave him, Yoshika, Sayaka, and Yoshiko a confused look as Yoshiki spook up.
"Major Sakamoto, I'm actually a boy." the male twin explained as it gave Mio a confused look.
"But you look exactly like your sister right down to your clothes." she explained when Yoshiki spoke up.
"Not everywhere." he said, pointing to his crouch as Mio touched his crotch. She feels something wrong... about what she touched, until she realized, "Y-you're guy!?" Mio shocked, as Yoshiki nodded.
"But the name and you attending a Girls-only Middle School?" Mio asked as Sayaka spoke up "When we figure out we were having twins I wanted to name them Yoshika and Yoshimi if they were both girls but since Yoshiki was born a boy my husband and I decide on a boy's name instead. When it was time for them to attend middle school, my mother and I were determined to have them both attend the Yokosuka Fourth Girls-only Middle School. Thus, I retained the name Yoshimi for Yoshiki and explained the situation to the school administration, who approved his attendance alongside his sister and to make people think he's a girl I sent a letter leader of our nation to give our permission to change Yoshiki's name and gender." she explains as Mio nodding.
'Wow, a boy that has magic that's a first, but it can work.' Mio thought.
"Now say we put power of yours to work for us fighting against the Neuroi." Mio said as Yoshika and Yoshiki smiled.
"All right!" the twins said, but the twins realized what Mio said, "Huh?!" they said.
"Hold on?" Sayaka asked.
"Are you trying to get my grandchildren into the military?" Yoshiko asked.
"Military?" the twins asked as they got mad, "We don't want to! Thank you, but we plan to taking over this clinic when we graduate." Yoshika and Yoshiki exclaimed.
"Well, taking over this clinic is certainly a noble idea, but there are people who are more in need of your power than you two ever see at this place." Mio said as it gave the twins a shocked look. "I never expected the both you to say yes to my offer without thinking about it, however I just know somehow the both of you be coming with me in the end." Mio said.
The twins gasped, "And just what makes you so sure about that?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked.
"Intuition." Mio said as it changed the twins' look. "Those with gifts such as yours are always led to their powers needed the most." Mio explained.
After saying that she will keep Yoshiki's true name and gender a secret, Mio stood in the front door of the clinic.
"Okay, you can find me at the port." she said as she closed the door. "Hijikata!" she called out, "Yes ma'am!" he said.
Inside the clinic, Yoshika and Yoshiki sticks out their tongues.
"What's her deal? Really?" the twins asked.
Later, with Yoshika and Yoshiki in their bed, the twins can't sleep. 'They need our power?' Yoshika and Yoshiki thought, 'But if we do what she wants, we be part of that awful war.' as they pull up the sheet, 'Not in a million years!' The twins thought some more.
The next morning, the mailman came, "Mailman!" he said.
"Coming!" Yoshika and Yoshiki called as they stood out of the clinic holding brooms and the female twin holding the mail as the mailman rode off.
"Thank you very much, mister!" the twins called out. Yoshika and Yoshiki tried to look for a return address, but they saw something that made them scream, and Yoshika and Yoshiki ran back inside of the clinic.
"Ah mom, grandma!" they yelled.
The letter said it addressed to the twins oddly, though it uses Yoshiki's true name and not his female name, Yoshimi. Only one person left knows Yoshiki's true name and gender.
"How did we get a letter from dad?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked, "Dose this mean he really didn't die, huh?" they also asked as Yoshiko turns to them.
"Try to calm down." she said to them as Sayaka opens the letter, "It appears to be sent from Britannia." She said as Yoshika, Yoshiki, and Yoshiko look at her, "Why is it just showing up now?" Yoshiko asked as Sayaka took out the contents of the letter and showed it to the twins as it showed a photo as the twins held it.
It was a photo of the twins' father.
"Daddy!" Yoshika and Yoshiki said as there appears to be another photo behind it. "There's another one." They said as they looked at it and made them gasped at it.
It showed that it has the twins' father and other people. One of them is Mio Sakamoto in front of a pair of leg-wear exoskeletons.
"Isn't that?" Sayaka asked.
"It's that woman Major Sakamoto!" Yoshiko exclaimed as the twins got a determined look.
"Somehow the major knew our daddy." Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
In town, Yoshika and Yoshiki are heading to port there. Mio is waiting for them, "So you're both here!" she said as the twins ran up to her as they caught their breath. "See I told both of you that you two would choose to change your minds." she said as the twins breathed more, "I'm glad that the both of you would put your powers to work." Mio finished as the twins stopped breathing.
"No we-" Yoshika and Yoshiki tried to explain but Mio stops them.
"Don't worry it will be all be taken care of I'll see to it that the two of you be enlistment in school class are my top priority." Mio said as she turned to Yoshiki, "And don't worry, Yoshiki, I've kept my promise that I'll keep your true name and gender a secret." she finished as the twins looked at each other and looked back at Mio.
"Eh, hold on, you see, we didn't come up here so you can sign us up." Yoshika and Yoshiki explained as Mio laughed at the twins' explanation.
Latter Yoshika, Yoshiki, and Mio walked up to the Akagi as the twins explained the letter, "A letter from Dr. Miyafuji?" Mio asked.
"That's right! We wanted to know how well you knew our dad." the twins said.
Mio turned around, "Well I do own him my life." she said as she walked up to the twins, "Your father's research is the reason I'm in the position I'm in now." Mio explained.
"Well then, do you know if our daddy is still alive?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked.
"I'm sorry, I don't know. But I will look into it." Mio said as she tried to place her hand on each twins' shoulder.
"You have to take us along with you to Britannia! We need to find out what happened to our dad, please!" Yoshika and Yoshiki demanded as.
Mio a long stare the twins as her mouth elongated then Mio smiled as she slapped the twins which hurt their shoulders. "Glad to hear it! Now then, the ship leaves tomorrow!" Mio said.
Yoshika and Yoshiki looked at her, and the twins got excited, "Thank you so much!" They said.
"Okay, now about your enlistment papers?" Mio said.
"Forget it! We would never help you with your war." the twins said as they turned around and crossed their arms as they blushed
Mio laughed at this. "Settle down, okay?" she asked Yoshika and Yoshiki.
The next day, the Akagi left port.
As it leaves port Michiko, Sayaka, and Yoshiko with the first one waving.
"Goodbye Yoshika and Yoshimi!" Michiko called out. "Good luck! Bye!" Michiko called out again.
On the ship the twins waving back "Michiko we'll miss you so much take care, okay?" Yoshika and Yoshiki called out.
"Stay safe dears, and be so write!" Yoshiko called out.
"Yoshika and Yoshiki." Sayaka said as waving goodbye.
That made the twins sad, "Mama. Grandma." Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
The twins break into tears, "We'll be back!" they called out.
At sunset, the twins looked back at their home on the railing, which is now on the horizon as Mio comes up to them
"So enjoying both of your time on the Akagi?" she asked them.
Yoshika and Yoshiki turned around.
"Oh um yes!" they said nervously as they smiled, "It's very comfortable." Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
Mio looks happy, "Good for you two. But you'll only find that when you'll abroad this ship." she said as the twins gasped.
"I'm sure you heard what Britannia's like nowadays? The Neuroi have taken over the whole continent it's the frontline in our battle against them. Britannia used to be so beautiful." she said as she looked to the sea the back to the twins, "Are the both of you only interested in going there so the two of you can find your father?" Mio asked Yoshika and Yoshiki.
The twins looked down, "Not just that there a lot of people in Britannia need help right?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked.
"Yes, far too many." Mio answered.
"And we," the twins said as they looked at Mio, "Should protect them. If anybody is wounded or sick, we need to use these powers of our to help them survive the best we can." Yoshika and Yoshiki said, "We made a promise to our dad!" they finished.
The twins walked up to Mio.
"Major Sakamoto tell us anything we can do to help cleaning, laundry, we don't care what it is." Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
"That's the way!" Mio said as she slapped the twins again, which hurt their shoulders again, "Good kids." she said as she laughed.
As the days went by Yoshika and Yoshiki doing housework on the Akagi.
The laundry was large that both twins struggled to carry a single load.
They made food in the kitchen which is the easiest as the twins taste it and the two was satisfy with the food they make. Later the twins change but both got embarrass when Mio walked up to them.
"Excuse me!" she said as she closed the curtain as she laughed. When one of the solders says they're cute twin girls Yoshiki playing along decides to flirt with them much of his sister's embarrassment.
Later on the deck, the twins mopped it as they made a race of it as the two laughed. But while they mop the deck, Mio called on the intercom.
"Um check? 1,2. Miyafujis, are you on deck? wait for me there. I have something I want to show you two. " she ordered.
That gave the twins a confused look, "Show us?" they asked.
Under the deck Mio ran up a similar pair of leg-wear exoskeletons, with a wing placed at launching pod and jump in to wear it as she grow Doberman ears on her head and a Doberman tail and a Type 99-2 Model 2 Kai came out and grabbed it.
Back on the deck, an elevator began moving up as Mio came up as the twins gasped.
"Major Sakamoto now commencing flight training alpha!" she called as she glowed white, as a propeller manifested from thin air and spins faster, and a giant magic circle appeared. Mio then launched from launching pod flying over Yoshika and Yoshiki. Mio did some tricks as it gave the twins excitement. Mio flew around the fleet.
She then flew past the twins, "So cool!" Yoshika and Yoshiki called out.
Mio landed back to flight, and the twins ran towards her with amazement faces.
"Major Sakamoto!" Yoshika and Yoshiki shouted in enthusiasm.
"What do you two think?" Mio asked she looked she was interested in the twins' response.
"That was so amazing! You were flying around so fast all over the sky! It was like you were a bird!" Yoshika and Yoshiki replied with amusement expression as they ran around in a small circle.
Mio laughed, "A bird, huh? But birds not nearly as fast as we are. We're part of 501st we're the Strike Witches." She said.
"The Strike Witches..." The twins are stunned.
"And our magic broom is right here." Said the Major in a calm voice and turned back to the pair of leg-wear exoskeletons.
"You're looking at the Striker Unit, the invention of.." she paused and turned to Yoshika and Yoshiki, "None other than Dr. Miyafuji." she finished.
That gave the twins a surprised look, "Our dad invented these?!" they asked.
"The invention of the Striker Unit made it possible for us to finally fight back against the Neuroi. Without your father's invention, the world would be completely destroyed by now. The entire human race owes Dr. Miyafuji, a great deep deft of gratitude." Mio spoke proudly to Yoshika and Yoshiki.
That gave the twins a happy face, "Our father, " they said.
"Want to try it on?" Mio asked suddenly. "Your father was the one who invented it after all. It's not going to bite the two of you." she finished.
Yoshika and Yoshiki walked up to the Striker Unit and touched it, "We'll think we'll pass on it." they said.
"I see." Mio said.
"Now we understand the work of our dad was doing but…" the twins paused briefly, and with a stern face and confident voice, tuned to Mio and said, "We'll won't help with war."
Mio can't blame Yoshika and Yoshiki's choice.
501st base
Meanwhile somewhere else at the base of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing a long orange haired girl in a red swimsuit and a long black haired girl in twin tails in a white and black swimsuit was laying down on white lawn chairs enjoying the sun. Somewhere else nearby in the sky was a shoulder-length grey-haired young girl and a long white haired young girl who flew down to base and landed as the orange haired Liberion witch waved to them.
"Hey! Welcome back!" She called back.
Perrine holding a umbrella walked up to the two, "As usually the two of you have complete disregard for regulation. Where on standby alert and here you are wearing next to nothing." she said.
Then the Liberon witch spoke up, "Grow up the Lieutenant Colonel gave us permission," said the orange haired woman. "Besides operations says we won't see another Neuroi until 08:00 or maybe, maybe you're frustrated cause I'm so attempting." she said as she smiles.
Then the Romagna witch spoke up, "Yeah or maybe you're mad because no one wants to see you like that." she said.
Perrine got mad, "That's totally not true!" she yelled as she looks away from them, "And besides Major Sakamoto is going to be back any minute now. I'll be certain to put in my report how much time the two of you spent laying around doing absolutely nothing." she said.
The Liberon witch lie back down on the chair, "Ahhh, you're so tragic." she said.
Then the Romagna witch spoke up, "Yeah especially in the chest," she taunted.
"You just shut your mouth! It's not like you have anything to brag about either!" Perrine said.
Then a siren goes off as the two witches sat up.
"Neuroi?!" The Liberon witch said.
"It can't be, it's much too soon!" Perrine said.
The Akagi
Back on the Akagi, the twins are looking for the base.
"We still can't see it!" Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
Mio explained, "Britannia is still about half a day away at least, patience Miyafujis." she said as the twins turned to her.
"But we already been on this ship for over a month." Yoshika and Yoshiki said.
Mio kept her cool, "Once we arrive at Britannia, we'll go to your dad's address and then after that..." she started to say until she saw something that makes the twins confused as Mio took her katana and ran a few steps forward, pushing the twins out her way.
"What is it?" Yoshika and Yoshiki asked as Mio lifted her eye patch and saw a strange aircraft in the distance.
"Neuroi." she whispered as she turned around, "Stations!" Mio shouted the battleship siren goes off, "Twelve o'clock, distance 4000!" she yelled.
That made the twins confused as a escorting destroyer started to fire its cannons into the sky as the strange aircraft now known as a Neuroi shot a beam that cut that destroyer in half destroying it.
"Contacts conformed! This is not a drill!" Mio continued to shout.
The twins staring at it like they see a ghost, as the strange aircraft was still firing beams, this time in rapid succession. All the escort ships were firing, but couldn't even scratch it.
"So that's the Neuroi...?" Yoshika and Yoshiki suddenly said with disbelief and started to tremble in fear as Mio grabbed them.
"Miyafujis, it's too dangerous for you two be up here now! Get below deck to the sickbay!" she ordered the twins.
"We're afraid!" Yoshika and Yoshiki suddenly spoke with a crying voice as they running like hell.
Inside the ship, the twins crawled on the wall.
When the twins get to the sickbay, they cowered in fear, "Where is our dad?" they asked.
