The reason why people that belong to different sides of the world never interact is a simple one but complicated.
The sides of the Earth North, South, East, West, and Center are things that stand next to each other but never see each other.
A person that can see the Spirits of Dead Humans, Hollows, and Soul Reapers belongs to the East side of the Earth.
A person that can see Dragons, Witches, and Sorcerers belongs to the West side of the Earth.
These two people can spend their entire lives living in the same town or city and neither of them will ever be able to see or interact with what the other can.
Their abilities are being kept apart by the fact that the West and East are separate parts of the Earth.
For example, a Hollow and a Soul Reaper can fight one another while they are on Earth but the Humans who are the ones that belong to the Center of the Earth or the planet itself will never see or hear them.
No matter how much power the two beings unleash, unless they destroy their surroundings or attack the Humans themselves, no one on earth will ever know that they were there.
This same thing applies to every other being.
So returning to the humans that can interact with the west and the human that can interact with the East, while they are using their abilities or interacting with their specific sides, they will never see or hear each other.
This is the reason why the Adventurers have become a threat to everyone as their existence threatens the balance.
Beings that would have normally never come into contact with each other are now becoming aware of each other.
It is unknown what the Adventurers want or what their leader is planning, but they must be kept under surveillance or eliminated before they become a bigger threat.

The sound of the bell ringing announces the end of another school day and Kazuma finds himself looking at his teacher's face.
"Yeah, so I have a new member, and he's not always or maybe never going to be in the club so does he still count?" he asks his teacher who briefly looks past him and stares at Masaki.
"That's what you wanted to ask me, Honesty Masaky why are you hanging around him?" his teacher asks Masaki as stops pretending that she can't see her.
"Waite you can see her?" Kazuma says to his teacher.
"You can see me?" Masaki asks the woman.
"Of course, I can, honestly the fact that no one in this school has pointed at you, stared in your direction, or talked to you is beyond me." she says to Masaki.
"Waite, hold on this is too much for me, how do you know her name," Kazua asks his teacher.
"Oh we use to be classmates and friends before she died." his teacher answers him.
"Since when can you see spirits?" Masaki begins to ask his teacher.
"I think it started when those strange creatures flooded the town before they were killed by the elephants." his teacher answers Masaki.
Kazuma watches as his teacher lifts her hand and stares at her palm as a stream of blue water begins to flow from it.
"I call it Driying Waters, the more a monster drinks the thirstier it gets and so they have no choice but to drink even more," she says to them as she lowers her hand and makes the blue water vanish.
"Kazuma, don't let the Soul Reapers know about your powers, anyone that has a T.V or the Internet has seen them kill people that they don't like for no other reason than they weren't one of them." his teacher says to him.
She pauses for a moment before she looks at Masaki who has an eyebrow raised and looks at her with an intense look in her eyes.
"One out of every thousand is an exception, not the norm." his teacher says to Masaki before she turns on the laptop that's on her desk.
"So whose the lucky guy or girl that you have your eye on?" His teacher asks him.
"Uryū Ishida." Kaazuma answers her.
"Really? well can't say I'm surprised considering that he's come to see you once, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, fine I'll count him as a member but he has to do at least one activity once."
Kazuma looks past his teacher and looks at the screen and finds that she's looking at the security cameras that are scattered everywhere.
"They ease people's memories, sometimes entire families vanish and no one remembers them, and they're the lucky ones."
"I've seen the monsters, not the ones that people claim have the white masks, I've never been able to see them."
"the monsters that I can see are the ones that gave me my powers, and it's because of them that my eyes were able to see the soul reapers, through anything that has glass." his teacher says to him as she points at the screen in front of her.
"You need a better place to have your meetings." Uryū says as he walks into the room while pulling Shiki inside.
'I found this one outside listening to your conversation" he says to everyone as he throws Shiki toward Kazuma.
Kanae appears next to Uryū before the warm expression that she normally would have hardened as she looks at everyone inside the room.
"Good everyone is here, I have decided to train all of you, while it may be true that your abilities belong to different sides of the world, the fact that all of you have managed to find each other means that fate has decided that all of you need one another." Kanae says to everyone.
"Pass." Kazuma hears his teacher say to Kanae.
'I heard your conversation, you know just as well as I do, that if Masaki, Kazuma, and my son have found you so will they, it's time that you get stronger." Kanae says to her.
"How we can't even see each other's powers unless we use something like this." Kazuma hears his teacher say to Kanae as she pulls what looks like a thin piece of plastic wrap from her pocket.
"Normally no one can see the water, but if my hands are covered, I can show it to people that can see spirits, and before you ask I've never met anyone else like me." his teacher says to everyone before they can ask her anything.
"Listen I don't want to." Shiki says to everyone but his eyes widen as Kanae walks towards him.
"If you leave now, then this opportunity will never open up to you again, believe me, you're going to have to be stronger, not because of what we will fight, but because of what you will," Kanae says to Shiki who doesn't say anything.
