Rescue
There's a door leading out of the main part of the warehouse. Taylor keeps to the wall, edging alongside it as carefully and as quietly as she can. Her heart's in her mouth, and she doesn't know if this is more or less terrifying than going up against the Shredder.
It's definitely less terrifying than being kidnapped. Taylor knows exactly what April's going through right now, and her heart genuinely goes out to her.
Taylor peers through the glass window of the door. There's nobody there.
Where would they keep a prisoner in a place like this?
Carefully, Taylor opens the door, slips through and closes it again. She keeps to the shadows until she reaches another door that opens onto another large space - one with boxes shoved up against the walls. April's in the middle, hands tied above her head from a hook dangling from above.
Someone is watching her - with his back turned to Taylor.
Slowly, Taylor creeps up behind him, bracing herself. She glances behind her just once, but there's nobody there. April turns her head and sees Taylor; her eyes widen in shock. The Dragon sees it and turns around.
Taylor swings the bat and smashes it into his face. He falls down, and she hurries over to her friend.
"April! Are you OK?" She carefully moves the hook out from between April's bound wrists and undoes the gag.
"What are you doing here?" April gasps as soon as her mouth is free.
"Getting you out." The turtles should be here soon, if Donnie's been tracking her phone, but they need to get out of here now.
April's hands are zip-tied, and there's nothing to cut her free with.
The girls hurry out of the room and into the main part of the warehouse.
"We can get out the way they drove in," Taylor says. The door is one that slides up from the bottom, like a garage door would; Taylor gives the bat to April, fumbles briefly with the lock and throws the door upward.
There's a group of Dragons standing outside.
