The Substitution Ninja
Prologue
Naruto usually slept through the academy but for some reason he had a feeling he shouldn't sleep he thought maybe it was important, maybe it'd help him with the clone technique, he could never get it down he always used too much chakra. Despite popular belief he was remarkably smart for his age he was almost as smart as ShikamaruNara who was his best friend, Iruka Yumino was giving a lecture on how ninja's always needed to be on guard, after that day he told shikamaru how if they wanted to be a good shinobi they needed to listen to Iruka, Shikamaruresponded that he didn't actually sleep because he was too tired to fall asleep, Naruto sweatdropped, but decided he would pay attention after that he was told about all types of shinobi techniques, otherwise known as Jutsu, he had what he thought was a sensing Jutsu and he went into the library and looked for sensing Jutsu he found something known as mind's eye of the kagura (it's a cannon Jutsu that Karin used to find Danzo in the 5 kage summit) and he realized it would allow him use Shunshin (body flicker) he learned about Kenjutsu or swordplay it is far better than taijutsu he learned about sealing Jutsu which was in his opinion the strongest type Jutsu after all he could do almost anything with it be flying teleporting channeling ninjutsu or even hide items he thought it'd work great with substitution so he wouldn't need to channel the jutsu He liked genjutsu but his chakra control was to bad to do it Irukahad mentioned how you could only use it when you get attacked which he wanted to find a way to use it without being hit because he thought it would be amazing to teleport with an E rank technique that cost so little chakra a normal gennin could use it almost a thousand times and he had the chakra levels of multiple kage he had so much chakra that almost every senser ninja could sense him but thought he was like background noise and so he was virtually invisible because of this Iruka couldn't actually sense him he just knew the closest semi safe spot from his time as a prankster Naruto had been too excited to graduate to remember to make a seal that made the clone Jutsu he had failed the academy, Mizuki approached from behind and told him about a special test to graduate where if he stole the scroll of sealing which Naruto thought was a dumb name cause it wasn't a sealing scroll but once Naruto had gotten it and hid he learned the technique shadow clone Jutsu after which both Mizuki and Iruka arrived Iruka yelled at Naruto asking why he stole the scroll Naruto was confused because MIZUKI had told him to steal it he told that to IRUKA Mizuki asked do you know why everyone in the village hates you Naruto Naruto was confused and asked why Iruka yelled that it was against the law and Mizuki shouted because you are the NINE TAILED FOX Naruto was shocked but knew that if he was the Third Hokage wouldn't of treated him so nicely so he assumed that the NINE TAILED FOX was most likely just sealed in him Naruto said no i'm not and easily defeated Mizuki and Iruka gave him his headband.
