Silver, Sonic, Rotor, and Vector were all eating fresh hot pepperoni pizza in Vector's office, the Pizza Hut closed for the night. Now usually a pair of hedgehogs hanging out with a walrus and a crocodile would be an unusual sight, but given what this story was, not exactly.

"Hey Vector, just out of curiosity but how come you rarely come out of your office?" Rotor asked as he finished up his fifth slice of pizza, sipping some soda.

Vector eyed Rotor suspiciously with his left eye as he bit into his tenth pizza slice. "What do you mean, Rotor?"

Rotor shrugged. "Let's not get callous. Me, Silver, and Sonic always work out here. How come you're mostly in the office?"

Vector rubbed his long nose with his right hand. "Rotor, my man, I have to keep this Pizza Hut up and running. I may not be behind the kitchen all the time, but I do keep its foundation standing."

Sonic chuckled as he took another slice of pizza. "You just want to play around with your money."

Silver, Sonic, and Rotor all laughed as Vector growled, dropping his slice of pizza on the paper plate, quite angry understandably. Notably the mammals stopped chuckling as the reptile was annoyed enough to give them an oven punishment right in the office.

"This pizza tastes so good!" Toadette chimed as she ate through the slices of pizza she ordered, burping in happiness. "And they feel so yummy in my tummy!"

"Oh how rich I would be if I had a dollar for every time someone said that," Silver joked as he was spinning around some pizza dough behind the counter.

Vector suddenly emerged from 1 of the ovens with dollar signs in his eyes. "Did someone say-"

"Vex no." Silver responded as he wagged a finger at his crocodile employer. "You know what it does to you."

"...Yeah you're right." Vector sighed, opening up a nearby oven that had bizarre vibrant colors in it, chucking Silver in there as he placed his hands on his hips. "Another satisfied job done!"

Toadette let out a huge fart that lifted her off her seat as she was aghast at what happened. "Oh my! Not only is this pizza really doing a number on me, but why did you do that to him!?"

"Oh relax, he'll be fine." Vector scoffed as he rested his arms on the counter. "Besides it was time for him to deliver another pizza."

Silver groaned as he found himself in the burning Crisis City, seeing flames spouting all around the destroyed buildings as a couple of cardboard boxes with pizza in them fell on top of him. He looked up to see Dry Bowser relaxing by a fire tornado.

"Let me guess, you're not the person who requested these pizzas." Silver dully noted while he pinched his nose briefly.

Dry Bowser chucked one of his more fragile bones behind him into the fire sprawling tornado as he nodded. "You would be correct, psychic boy."
