Some days before Lucifer's arrival. A green envelope was left in front of the Hazbin Hotel, with the recipient of the letter being "Alastor, Overlord of Radio".

Vaggie noticed and took the letter inside.

"Alastor, there's a letter for you," said Vaggie.

"Oh, a letter, you say?" Alastor fixed his monocle and took the letter. It was an invitation and read:

"Greetings, oh Overlord of Radio. I, Vladelets, Overlord of Robotics, invite you to a Dinner Party to celebrate my ascension as Overlord and new member of the Vees. Press the button attached at the end of it letter to be teleported to the location of the party when it's 9 PM. You may bring one guest with you."

Along with the invitation, there was a large red button with the words "Press me to go to the place of meeting" over it.

The Doctor scanned it. "Looks like a Transmat to me." He thought.

"A new Overlord? Didn't hear anything about it," said Vaggie.

"A party? Sounds nice!" said Charlie.

"Why one of the Vees would want to make a dinner party?" Husk wondered.

"Indeed. In fact, we're going to find out, aren't we...Doctor?" said Alastor.

"You want me to go with you?" said the Doctor.

"Precisely! I thought it would be nice for you to meet my "colleagues"." said Alastor.

"Sounds fun. I'm in!" said the Doctor. "After all, I'm also technically a Lord. Of the "Time" type, though."

"Good, we have one hour to get prepared," said Alastor, fixing his bowtie.

An hour passed and the Doctor and Alastor were ready. The Doctor disguised himself as a Sinner via a modified Perception Filter.

The Radio Demon pressed the button and he and the Time Lord disappeared.

They materialised inside a large Victorian-looking mansion.

"Oh ho, quite the lovely place!" Alasor commented.

"It seems Vladelets wanted to do things in big." A deep female voice spoke with a soft Hispanic accent.

The two turned to the source of the noise. That grey skin, that white hair with black streaks tied into the shape of horns, that metallic noise made by her ballerina shoes...The Doctor recognised her, and it seemed the demoness did it too.

Other than her, there were two other Overlords:

The male one was slender and incredibly tall and had a spider-like appearance dark grey skin and lime-green eyes. He was wearing a black cloak covering all of his body, a large black top hat with a light grey patch at the front, along with a grey colored skull and a lime green and red striped feather on the right side along with a black spider emblem on the cloak.

The female one had a more humanoid appearance, she had pointy teeth, pale grey skin and pitch-black eyes. She was wearing a red dress that seemed to be from Alastor's period on Earth, or perhaps slightly older, along with a sun hat.

"Ah, Carmilla, Zestial, Rosie! You have come, too!" said Alastor.

"How could I ignore a chance to meet you, Alastor?" said Rosie, hugging the Radio Demon.

Zestial noticed the Time Lord. "It seems thou have brought a friend, Alastor."

"Oh right! Meet the Doctor, an acquaintance from the Hazbin Hotel, a charming and intelligent fellow," said Alastor. "Doctor, these are Carmilla Carmnie, Zestial and Rosie, respectively the Overlords of Weaponry, Journals and the Cannibals."

"Nice to meet you." the Doctor awkwardly waved at the three.

"The pleasure is ours, Physician," said Zestial.

"Quite the gentleman, I see!" said Rosie.

Carmilla remained silent, scrutinising the Doctor with her eyes.

"So..." said the Doctor, "Are there other Overlords?"

"Zeezi and the Vees arrived before us, and-"

Carmilla was interrupted by a loud zoom noise as something hit the Doctor in the head.

He quickly stood up and saw what hit him: A red-and-white shield with the letters "WB" on it.

A looney, pompous orchestral music started loudly playing, as rings manifested around the shield.

The shield opened and a bunny-like Sinner with grey fur and red eyes jumped outside from it. He was wearing a grey coat, black trousers and a dark green foulard.

Rosie clapped her hands. "Grand entrance as usual, Buster!"

"Thanks, Rosie." The bunny demon, Buster, munched a carrot. He pointed at the Doctor, "Who's the fella?"

"He is the Physician, an acquaintance of Alastor," said Zestial.

"Ah, what's up, Doc?" Buster handshook the Doctor, "The name's Buster, Overlord of Animation."

"Nice to meet you, Buster." said the Doctor, "So, have you guys explored this place? It's huge!"

"Indeed. It was expected if Zeezi was invited, too," said Carmilla. "We searched up the place partly, there are rooms for all of us, guests included."

"Vladelets wanted us to rest here for the party, it seems," said Zestial.

"Let's go the others, I wanna meet the other Overlords!" said the Doctor.

Zestial led the way to the dining room.

Four Overlords were already there: the Vees and Zeezi, a large female dinosaur Sinner with pink skin and colourful neon green hair and wearing a biker-esque attire.

"Ah, there you are, Carmi-" Vox's eyes widened as he noticed Alastor. "YOU?!"

"Hello, Vox," said Alastor, with an incredibly annoyed tone. "How nice to see you again. Did you miss me?"

"Oh, fuck off, you old-timey prick!" said Vox.

"Enough, you two," Carmilla said with a stern tone. "You will not fight here."

"Oh, no, I wouldn't 'fight' him, I was more of beating him to a pulp!" said Alastor.

"Bring it on, bitch! Or are you scared it might end up like 7 years ago-"

A tentacle started strangling Vox.

"Alastor, enough!" the Doctor intervened, "There's no reason to fight."

"...Very well." Alastor freed the TV demon.

"Are you okay?" the Doctor helped Vox stand.

"I think...Who are you?" Vox asked.

"Wait...You're the guy that was with the Princess when she fucked up my studio!" said Valentino.

"A bowtie and a purple frock coat? You dress like an old man!" Velvette commented.

"I am an old man." the Doctor thought.

"He's the one that blew up the Voyeur..." Vox thought.

"So? Where's the birthday boy?" the Doctor asked, "Vladelets, the new member of your group, the Vees!"

"As if we know. Vladelets told us jackshit about this 'Dinner Party'." said Velvette, checking her phone.

"We know as much as you do," said Vox.

"Looks like we have to wait." Buster munched his carrot. "Let's keep exploring this place."

The Doctor was rather fascinated and curious of the Overlords of Hell. So different from one another, they were supposed to be a group of ruthless Sinners that enslaved millions of souls, and he didn't trust some of them (especially Valentino, due to what he saw doing at Angel) but as for the rest...They seemed rather civil, especially to him.

"Doctor." Carmilla put her large hand on the Doctor's shoulder. "Can I talk to you in private?"

"Oh, erm, sure." said the Doctor, as he and Carmilla went into one of the rooms, where nobody could hear them.

"It was you who distracted that Angel 5 months ago, wasn't it?" Carmilla asked.

"Quite straightforward." said the Doctor, "Yes, it was me."

"...Why? You may have died." Carmilla asked, not exactly used to seeing a random stranger showing kindness in Hell, let alone towards an Overlord.

"So? I'm used to it." said the Doctor, "Not that you cared for your safety either. Those two girls are quite lucky to have you as their mother."

Carmilla looked away. "...I'd say I'm lucky to have them. I'd do everything to protect them."

"Oh yes, I know the feeling." said the Doctor, immediately thinking about his granddaughter. "Unfortunately, all of my family is dead, so when I saw you and your daughters, I didn't want to feel you like I did. Maybe that's why I saved you."

"...That's very kind of you." Carmilla kept her cold and collected facade, but she was touched by the Time Lord's comment.

"Say, what do you think of the Princess' Hazbin Hotel?" the Doctor asked.

"Simple nonsense." said Carmilla, "As if someone here in Hell would want to better themselves. It's pure naivety."

"I don't think it's nonsense. I've met people here in Hell that could get redeemed." said the Doctor, "Like you."

Carmilla raised an eyebrow. "Me, an Overlord? Getting redeemed?"

"Yes, you showed virtue." said the Doctor. "In that fateful moment, you stood in front of those Exorcists to protect your daughters, despite your thought that you would end up dead, but it was worth the try. 'Good is good in the final hour, without hope, without witness, without reward. Virtue is only virtue in extremis."

Carmilla was impressed, a slight blush appeared on her face. "...What a profound thought. Let's go back to the others, they might start to get suspicious."

The two returned to the other Overlords.

"Where have you been, Carmilla? Wanted to have a quickie with the new guy?" said Valentino.

"Don't be ridiculous." Carmilla couldn't care less about the moth Sinner. "Any news about Vladelets?"

"Nope, nothin' changed," said Zeezi.

The lights went down and a new Sinner appeared. He had a feline-like appearance, with grey fur and green eyes. He was wearing a dark green lab coat, with black boots and a red scarf.

"Salutations, fellow Overlords." He spoke with a Slavic accent, "I am Vladelets, Overlord of Robotics. I welcome all of you to my party."

"Ah, there you are, Vlad," said Vox. "Where have you been?"

"Setting up a few things, I apologise for being late," said Vladelets. He noticed the Doctor. "It appears you have brought a guest."

"Indeed!" said Alastor, "this is the Doctor, an acquaintance of mine."

"How do you do?" the Doctor offered a handshake.

"The pleasure is mine, Doctor," said Vladelets. "Now, let's commence with the dining, shall we?"

"Finally, I was starvin'!" said Zeezi.

He left, followed by the others.

"This place seems off," said the Doctor. "Doubt he prepared all of this by himself."

"Indeed. The mansion is desolated," said Zestial.

"Perhaps he uses his robots to take care of the mansion." said Carmilla. "Although you're right, something's sketchy about this mansion."

The group arrived at the Dining Hall, where they began to feast.

There were plates of several types, like fruit, vegetable and meat (with Rosie and Alastor's joy), there was enough variety to satisfy everyone's tastes.

The Doctor found odd how all of this seemed more like a reunion between friends rather than the most feared Sinners of Hell.

Although, as he said before, there were some Overlords that could become good if they wish, like Carmilla.

Rosie was quite the sweet lady, but the Time Lord was as suspicious of her as he was with Alastor.

Zestial seemed like a polite gentleman, by the way he speaks, the Doctor presumed he was from 1600s England. He wondered how he manged to defend his status as Overlord for such a long time.

Zeezi and Buster were cool people, too. The former was a fun gal while the latter was laid-back.

As for the Vees...That was a different story. They were the Overlords that have the least chance to get redeem, especially Valentino. Velvette acted like a spoiled teenage brat, always on her phone while Vox seemed polite, but that gets thrown out of the window whenever Alastor is nearby.

After the dinner, Vladelets said they were free to wander in the mansion as they please and not leave it because "they were in for a surprise".

What a surprise they had.

While Vox was having a walk through the corridor, he found the impaled body of Vladelets by an angelic weapon.

After letting out a "what the fuck?!" out of shock, he went to call the others, who reunited around the body.

"Oh poor thing..." Rosie commented.

"I wonder who did it," Carmilla commented. "He was murdered with an angelic weapon."

As the Doctor inspected the corpse, he found something in Vladelets' hand.

It was a note that read:

"Sovereign Overlords of Hell, I challenge you all: Solve the murder of Vladelets, or all of you will perish. All the exits have been locked and your powers nullified, you can only use your intellect."

"It seems we're under hostage." said Carmilla.

"Mayhaps it is the surprise Vladelets talked us about." said Vladelets.

Vox checked closely. "Nope, completely dead."

"So, what's the plan? Playing detectives and find out who's the wanker that killed him?" Velvette asked.

"Precisely!" said the Doctor. "The only way to find the culprit is...Collaboration! It'll be fun!"

"The Physician is not wrong. We must collaborate to not meet another damned fate." said Zestial.

"That's the spirit! Let's meet up in the main hall in two hours, let the investigation begin!" said the Doctor.

So, everyone got divided into groups to investigate the mansions for clues and/or possible exits.

The Doctor's group, composed by Alastor, Rosie, Carmilla and Zestial, investigated the chambers.

The Doctor, Alastor and Rosie went to Vladelets's room. It wasn't that decorated like the others.

"We could find something interesting here." said the Doctor.

"I agree, let's begin, shall we?" said Alastor.

They almost put upside-down the room to find clues, and only found documents, lots of documents.

However, those documents were off. They belonged to several governments of the Earth, including Her Majesty's Government.

And those British documents were signed by a man the Doctor knows very well...Harold Saxon.

"Have you found something, dear?" Rosie asked.

"Just...Governative documents." said the Doctor. "What are they doing in Hell?"

"Perhaps he died carrying those, maybe Vladelets worked for a Government back in his time!" said Alastor.

"Maybe..." said the Doctor. "But I don't trust him. And neither I trust this place, it feels like something's wrong."

"What do you mean?" Rosie asked.

"When we arrived here, I felt like...Some sort of, electric static." the Doctor explained. "Unless...Hold on. Hold on."

The Doctor approached one of the windows and threw a candy outside: It vanished the moment it touched the window.

"Of course...Of course!"

"Of course what?" Rosie asked.

"I think I know where we are exactly." said the Doctor. "Let's anticipate the meeting, let's go!"

Everyone went to the Main Hall.

"Why are we here already?" Velvette asked, "Weren't we supposed to have the meeting in two hours?"

"We had some important news to share, Velvette," said Alastor. "But first, have you all found any clues?"

"Zestial and I investigated our rooms, in case someone was spying on us. We found nothing," said Carmilla.

"There aren't any entrances either," said Vox. "How the fuck did we get here in the first place?"

"That's the question. How did we get here?" said the Doctor. "We all received that letter with the button that teleported us here, right? It's like they wanted to hide something..."

"Besides, I've never seen something as big as this place in the city," said Zeezi.

"I think I know where we are." said the Doctor. "It's a TARDIS! We're in a TARDIS!"

The Overlords looked perplexed at the Doctor, except Alastor.

"A what?" Carmilla raised an eyebrow.

"To put it mildly, it's a place that is bigger on the inside," said Alastor.

"Precisely!" said the Doctor, "We're in an impossibly big place, where if you throw something out the window it disappears, all owned by Vlade-Oh." Of course! I'm an idiot!

"What now?" said Velvette.

"You see, "Vladelets" is a Russian word. It means various things, like 'owner' or... Master."

Someone clapped their hands. "Bravo, Doctor!"

Everyone turned around. It was a man with brown hair, brown eyes and a round face, wearing Vladelets's outfit.

"Vladelets?" said Vox.

"Indeed. Or rather, that was my disguise. I am the Master, the Overlord of Hell." said the Master.

"You're still very humble, I see." said the Doctor. "How's with the drums? Did they cure it and kick you out of Gallifrey?"

"...It was a mutual agreement." the Master clarified.

"Ahem." said Alastor, "Not to interrupt you but, could you kindly explain who this gentleman is, Doctor?"

"That man is the Master, archenemy and childhood friend. Basically me, but evil." said the Doctor.

"Oh, please, I'm far better than you." said the Master.

"So much that your plans are ruined the instant I step in." the Doctor snarked. "So, what's the plan, then? You can't kill someone already dead."

"The plan is...I'll set you free."

Everyone was confused.

"..That's it?" Buster asked.

"Yeah. You beat it, I'll give you that. You can leave...If you survive this!"

Gas appeared in the room, and the Master disappeared.

Zestial acted quickly and isolated the gas inside thick spider webs.

"That should hold them for enough time for us to depart." He said.

"Is there a way we can leave this "TARDIS", Doctor?" Carmilla asked.

"We could look for the entrance, but it's probably well hidden, unless..." said the Doctor. "No, I have an idea!"

"That bein'?" Zeezi asked.

"If I manage to reverse the polarity of the Transmat, I can send us all back from where we were teleported!" said the Doctor. "I need the button from the invitation."

"I think I still have ours." Alastor handed the button to the Time Lord.

"One should be enough." the Doctor used the sonic screwdriver on the button. "Well, folks, it's been nice knowing you all!"

The Doctor pressed the button, and him and the Overlords disappeared.

The Doctor and Alastor materialised back at the Hotel.

"Oh, you're back!" Charlie noticed the two. "How did it went?"

"Well-"

"Oh nothing much, we simply chatted, that's all." Alastor interrupted.

"Yeah." said the Doctor.

"Now then, Doctor, may I talk to you in private?" Alastor left, followed by the Doctor.

They went to the balcony.

"So, Doctor, about this "Master" fellow..." said Alastor, "Do you think he will...Bother us, in the future?"

"Probably." said the Doctor. "I don't know where, but we must be prepared. The Master is stubborn and ambitious, whatever he wants to do, he won't give up."

"Quite the tough guy, I see." said Alastor. "I'll be on alert in case the Master returns." He left.

"I wonder what he's up to..." the Doctor thought.

Meanwhile, the Vees were teleported back to their tower.

"Finally, that shit is over." said Velvette.

"Really? I thought you liked my show." A voice spoke.

"Really, was that corny murder mystery really that necessary, Master?" said Vox.

"I needed it to properly analyse who our opponents are." the Master stepped out of the shadow. "And now that the Doctor is there too, it'll be fun. We can begin the preparation of our plan."

-To Be Continued-
