Silver finished up the last round of pizzas for the night as he handed them to a couple of Crawl badniks, who paid Silver in yellow rings as they left the Pizza Hut, holding the pizza boxes under their shields as it was a clear sunny day. Silver jumped over the counter as he walked over to Shadow and Knuckles, who were still playing Sugar Rush, which was as addictive of a game as the sugars for which it was themed after.
"Isn't it a bit late to be still playing this game?" Silver asked, placing his hands on his hips.
Shadow ignored Silver as he ended up beating Knuckles, chuckling as he folded his arms. "I won again, Knux. You owe me fifteen dollars."
"Damn it." Knuckles growled as he pulled a couple of green dollar bills out of his butt, handing it to Shadow. Silver blinked, shaking his head as he headed downstairs and leaving, not wanting to know what was up.
"Looking at the stats, we're doing pretty all right," Dry Bowser yawned as he took a slice of bacon topped pizza and munched on it with such precision, squinting his beady eyes within his dark empty eye sockets as it was evening due to the yellow sky illuminating the orange sunset. "I never liked pizza that much."
"Then why are you eating it, DB?" Toadette remarked innocently while eying Dry Bowser oddly, placing her hands on her hips as she let out a squeaky fart.
"Because I need my jaw bones to move about occasionally, kid. It's to keep them in check." Dry Bowser explained while finishing up his slice of pizza. "...That and so I have an excuse to clean up my bones."
"Why would you gunk up your bones?" Silver questioned, for he placed some bits of cheese on a bunch of pizza dough.
"Are you deaf? I just told you." Dry Bowser sighed, rolling his eyes to himself. "I did that just to mess around."
"What did you have in mind?" Toadette asked as she began to lick the cheese on her fingers from the pizza while she tried to figure out if she could move Dry Bowser's bones without losing control.
"Nothing, I just like to have my body be active."
"That's a good reason." Silver chimed in.
It was later found out that the reason that Dry Bowser's bones needed junk within it was to allow them to get some moisture so they wouldn't dry up.
"...ya know what I always ask myself whenever I feel the need to think Silver?" Vector said as he turned to Silver, the two having pizza on the rooftop of the Pizza Hut, as it was a surprisingly warm night, despite the fact that it was raining intensely earlier on.
"What is it, Vex?" Silver responded as he turned his head to Vector, holding onto the half eaten pizza slice he was finishing up.
"...not that it should affect us going forward but do we really have a purpose to exist and just be around for whatever it is that we are here for?" Vector questioned while munched on his slice of salted pizza. "Let's be real, is there really any influence for us to do anything that could be out there?"
Vector went on as he continued to eat the pizza he had been given. Silver smiled happily at him then, saying something that would make him feel better.
"If we could, let's just go and have some fun, right? Maybe play some games, try to come up with some good music we love." Silver stated as he began enjoying his new pizza slice while Vector had his gloved crocodile hands full with the rest of his pizza.
The two animals laughed as long as Silver's hand rolled around to make use of his psychic, causing the pizzas to circle around in the air, and Vector's arm began to groove around on its own. Vector and Silver were able to enjoy getting up to go shower. While they had played games around the Pizza Hut over the last few hours, they realized that having each other as close friends were really good on levers deeper than they realized. Why were they the only ones remaining at the Pizza Hut is something that 1 shouldn't take for granted since they were there the longest.
