"Found another world!" View shouted out as the audience looked at the spectre.
"Ooh, what's this one about?" Nora asked as the orb was a green and red colour.
"It's a sci fi themed one." View said. "But unlike the other ones, this one is a tad different."
"Sounds very interesting." Ozpin said.
"I wonder what we'll see." Pyrrha pondered.
"Well, don't just stand there!" Nora said, excited. "Throw that bad boy in!"
"Sure thing!" View said as he tossed the orb in and everyone watched the screen go up.
INVADER
ARC
A hand presses onto a screen of an alien ship which spun. The hand presses again which stops rotating and zooms in on a part of it and alien text appears. The hand presses that part of the ship with the control panel.
"Ooh! Pretty!" Nora said in awe.
"It does look interesting." Winter said.
"the design looks to be of an alien make." Ozpin said.
"Oh, now things are getting interesting!" Nora said with excitement.
The being presses some text and information is displayed. The Irken presses another button and the control panel turns red. The Irken scrolls through the text and stops to read a notice.
"What is this guy doing?" Sun asked.
"He looks to be looking up something," Kali said.
"I wish we knew what it was." Yang said. "I can't read a single thing there."
Ruby then leaned towards Penny. "Penny, can you understand that?" Ruby carefully whispers.
"I'm afraid I can not, friend Ruby." Penny answered. "It appears to be a form of text not known in Remnant."
A close-up of the big red eyes is shown as the control panel can be seen in the reflection.
"Wait, is that...what I think it is?" Weiss asked with her eyes widening.
"I think it might be..." Tai said.
"An ALIEN!" Nora and Ruby said with excitement.
"Huh, didn't think it would be so exciting," Coco said. "I mean we saw Jaune turn into aliens not that long ago"
"It doesn't mean it's not exciting to see some." Velvet said.
The scene then cuts to space. Many, thousands of alien ships are seen, big and small, all heading towards a single place where they could meet.
"Woah...that is...that is a lot of them" Yang said, amazed by the sheer mass of them.
"There's a whole army's worth" Ironwood gasped.
"That's about double the size Atlas has," Qrow said. "Maybe, it's a guess by this point"
"I'm more or less worried if these aliens are good or bad," Ren said.
"Welcome, brave Irken soldiers. Welcome to Conventia, the convention hall planet." An announcer said on a robot drone as all the ships were heading towards a purple planet with a metal ring around it.
"Conventia?" Glynda said with a raised brow.
"It looks to be the planet they're convening towards," Ozpin said.
"Please, proceed to the docking ring and take the complimentary teleporters to the planet's surface!" The announcer said as a ship approaches the docking ring as mechanical tubes stretch out and attach to it. Pink energy is sucked through the tubes and into the docking ring, where it's projected onto the planet's satellite.
On the planet, Monitors hover above a city, some displaying the Conventia Announcer while ships also fly over the city. "Be sure to visit the gift shop for all kinds of cheap, useless stuff!" The announcer said.
"Huh, very blunt" Qrow commented.
On the planet's surface, a beam of pink energy hits a hovering receptor, which causes little green aliens to materialize in its beam and walk in a certain direction.
"Man, they look really creepy," Sun said.
"They don't seem that bad," Ruby defended. "I think they're kinda cute."
Weiss raised a brow at this and was about to retort before sighing, knowing Ruby, there's no point in arguing.
"If you're here for The Great Assigning, please remember where you parked and proceed to the main convention hall." The announcer said as the aliens known as the Irkens walk towards the convention hall, with a big red alien at the top saying "Galactic conquest is here!"
"Well, that pretty much answers the question of whether or not they were good," Ghira said.
"And with a wide amount of them..." Kali said with a worry filled tone.
The Irkens were walking towards the main convention hall as A huge crowd of Irkens filled the entire convention hall. On the stage at the front of the convention hall is a disk-shaped metal pod. Electric currents charge between the ceiling and the pod while The Irkens stand on a platform curved around the back of the metal pod.
"Well that looks promising" Tai remarks.
"What is it?" Pyrrha wondered.
"Looks like we'll find out soon," Blake said.
"Now, wiggle your antennae in salute, because here they are!" The announcer announced dramatically "Your all-knowing, all-powerful leaders, the Almighty Tallest!"
"Tallest?" Ozpin whispers to himself.
"It sounds like they are the leaders of this species," Glynda said.
"Man, I bet they must be the smartest leaders ever." Ruby said.
"You'd think..." View said to himself.
Hatches on the pod unlock and it opens up, emitting smoke. The Irkens proceed to wiggle their antennae in salute. The top half of the pod begins to rise to the ceiling.
Small floating spheres emerge from the bottom half of the pod and rise above the audience. The metal spheres emit lasers in all directions. Two posts lower from the ceiling pod, which creates a holograph between them.
A hover disk detaches from the bottom of the ceiling pod. It lowers downwards, with Almighty Tallest Red and Purple standing on it. The Tallest wave and the disk emits lasers from the rim. The audience cheers.
"Man, they are pretty tall" Nora comments.
"I guess so." Ren said.
"Thank you! Thank you!" The Purple Tallest greeted.
"See, told you they'd love the lasers." Red nudged his fellow Tallest who looked annoyed.
"Everything is lasers with you!" Purple says as Red slightly glares. "I'm telling you, smoke machines are what the people really..." A laser beam suddenly hits Purple in the eye and he falls over, screaming in pain and the audience cheers in response.
"Ooh, that's gotta hurt!" Yang cringed at the sight.
"He should be blinded after that," Ren said.
"Maybe he'll be okay" Ruby suggested.
"I doubt it" Ilia said
"See?" Red smirked while Purple was still on the ground in pain as the platform then landed on the lower half of the pod.
"Welcome mighty Irken soldiers!" Red greeted in a loud and booming voice. "You are the finest examples of military training the Irken army has to offer!" Red spoke as Purple got back up and rubs his eye.
"Irken?" Ren mutters himself at the name of said species.
"Good for you." Red said in a slightly mocking tone. "Standing behind us, however, are the soldiers we've chosen for roles in one of the most crucial parts of operation "Impending Doom 2"." Red said as he gestured to the Irkens behind him.
"2?" Coco said.
"It looks like there was a first." Ironwood said.
"I wonder what happened to the first one," Velvet asks.
"Oh, you'll find out" View said.
The hologram behind them goes from a blank screen to that of a galactic map for them to conquer while the audience goes wild.
"That doesn't fill me with relief." Ironwood said, worried that these Irkens could potentially invade Remnant. They had to deal with Salem.
"Nah, I wouldn't be too worried, Jimmy" Qrow said. "These guys don't exactly seem to be the sharpest tools in the box.
"You in the audience just get to sit and watch." Red said.
"You should have tried harder!" Purple loudly interjected to the crowd.
"Huh, it kind of reminds me of Ozpin's speech he gave to us," Ruby said.
"I can kind of see the resemblance." Yang said.
"These superior ones-" Red gestured to the Irkens behind him.
"-Not quite as superior as us of course!" Purple cutted in.
"Pffff... Duh!" Red scoffed. "These less superior than us but still quite superior soldiers will each be assigned to an enemy planet!"
Blake groaned at this. "It's almost like hearing Adam all other again"
The Tallest then turned to the superior soldiers and addressed them directly. "There, you will blend in with the hideous native inhabitants..." Purple informed.
"...All while gathering crucial information, assessing the planet's weaknesses, making it vulnerable to our big... spaceship... gang!" Red finished as Purple gave him an odd look.
"Man, he doesn't know what the word armada means?" Tai said, astounded.
"Make me wonder how they even conquered anything," Yang said.
"I hear that." Coco said in agreement.
"I admit, despite their...personality, they are clear to be effective in assigning their troops a task" Ironwood stated.
"Don't know if it'll be good for the planet they'll be invading." Qrow said.
"Someone should stop them, right?" Terra asked.
"Maybe that's where Jaune comes in?" Ruby guessed.
"Of course he does!" Nora encouraged. "Fearless Leader can take down every single one of those guys with one hand behind his back!" Nora boasted.
"The armada?" Purple corrected. "Now, let the assigning begin!" Purple yelled out to the crowd who were silent at this.
"Whooooo!" an Irken in the back of the audience cheered.
"Huh, seems familiar to me." Yang said as she recounted a time where a random student cheered in class once.
"Me too," Ruby said in agreement.
Purple slightly glares at the lack of a response. "Step forward, Invader Larb." Purple said, slightly less thrilled.
Invader Larb was shocked and quickly ran up to the Tallest, going up a ramp and facing his leaders.
"Ah! You seem to have grown since last you stood before us, soldier!" Red said, impressed.
"You've been assigned to the planet Blorch," Purple informed as The holograph behind them shows a picture of Invader Larb being attacked by giant rats. "home of the slaughtering rat people!"
"Oh damn." Sun said, shocked at the sight of the large rats.
"They took the time to draw that?" Winter said, astounded.
"Poor little guy" Ruby said with sympathy.
"Why would you draw that?!" Larb terfully asks in fear.
"However, because of your increased height, we have decided to give you the planet Vort, home of the universe's most comfortable couch." Red informed as the image changed to Invader Larb relaxing on a large couch.
"There's a planet for that?" Pyrrha asks.
"Apparently so." Kali said.
"Yeeeeeees!" Larb pumped his fist up in excitement. He takes his assignment sheet from Purple and runs back to his spot with joy.
"Next, Invader Spleen!" Purple calls out.
Invader Spleen walks up to them. Red and Purple looked down to the Invader. "Ooooooh!" They said, impressed at the sheer size of Spleen's massive head.
"Damn! That head is massive!" Qrow remarks.
"I know." Yang said in agreement. "It's almost as big as Weiss's ego"
"Ye-HEY!" Weiss glares at her teammate.
Meanwhile back in space, A random ship was flying towards the docking station, while flying sporadically.
"Looks like someone is late" Coco comments.
"Move it, move it! Invader coming! Move it! Argh, move it! Get out of the way!" The Invader inside the ship screamed as he managed to get in between two docked larger ships.
"That voice...it sounds familiar." Ruby said.
"Yeah, I feel like I can tell you it is without all the screaming" Yang added.
Saphron and Terra both look at each other at this as they both knew who could scream like that.
Back at the Great Assigning, the last Invader was just about to be called up.
"And last... INVADER SKOODGE!" Purple yelled out as the Skoodge walked up to the Tallest who were less than impressed.
"Oh, now that's just sad." Red said in a disappointed tone.
"COULD YOU GET ANY SHORTER?!" Purple loudly exclaims to the short, fat Invader with a stained shirt walks up.
Invader Skoodge looks at the Tallest with a sad look at their words.
"Aw come on," Ruby said. "It's not his fault"
"What a bunch of jerks?" Nora pouted.
"You will be assigned to Blorch, home of the slaughtering rat people. Thank you." Red quickly said as an image of him surrounded by rats appeared on screen and tears swell up in Skoodge's eyes.
"Awe little guy" Ruby said with sympathy.
"Ruby, they plan on conquering other worlds" Weiss pointed out.
"Still, I can't help but feel bad for that one." Ruby said.
"Get out of the way!" The Late invader screamed as he pushed through the crowd to get to the assigning area. "Move it, move it! Get out of my way! Move! You're in my way!"
"Huh, it's the late guy," Sun said.
"Indeed." Ren said. "Though hearing him now..." Ren said as he squinted. "I think...wait...is it?"
"Thus concludes the great assigning!" Red said in a booming voice as the audience cheers. "Help yourselves to some nachos, and we'll see you at the equipment station." Red said.
"Yes, gorge yourselves... you MOOCHES!" Purple slightly insulted the crowd.
"No, no, no! Wait!" The latecomer yelled out as he reached the front of the crowd and waved his hand up, gaining everyone's attention.
"That voice!" Red exclaimed in shock.
Team JNPR and RWBY's eyes widened alongside as they knew who it was now.
"No way!" Yang exclaimed.
"It is" Weiss gasped.
The Latecomer then crawls onto the pod.
"No!" Red exclaimed in terror.
"It can't be!" Purple said in horror.
The last Invader rears his head up at his leaders. "Arc!" The Tallest said at the same time as the audience gasped in shock and terror.
"JAUNE!" Jaune's friends and family exclaimed while the adults started on in shock.
"Huh, didn't expect that." Qrow simply said.
"Jaune's an alien!?" Nora exclaimed. "That is so cool!"
"Nora, did you forget that Jaune is most likely going to invade and conquer a world!?" Weiss reminds.
"Oh yeah...I kinda forgot." Nora admitted.
"Man, I know he doesn't look it, but I think I can tell that's him," Yaang said.
"I agree too," Blake said.
"I can't believe Jaune is one of these Invaders" Saphron said.
"Neither can I," Pyrrha said.
Arc walked up to where Invader Skoodge was and breathed heavily. "Sorry I'm late, my Tallest." Arc apologized as Invader Skoodge slowly backed away from Arc. "I couldn't find my invitation. You're lucky I made it at all."
"You weren't invited at all." Red Tallest said, annoyed.
"Weren't you banished to Foodcourtia?" Purple asked. "Shouldn't you be... frying something?"
"Oh, I quit when I found out about this." Arc casually said.
"You quit being banished?" Purple said, astounded.
"Can...someone really do that?" Ruby asks.
"I never seen anyone say otherwise kiddo" Qrow said.
"The Assigning is over, Arc!" Red sternly said, much to Arc's disappointed.
"But you can't have an invasion without me! I was in operation "Impending Doom 1". Don't you remember?" Arc asked.
"Oh, yes... We remember..." Purple Tallest said with sarcasm as he and Red remembered the day.
"It can't have been that bad, right?" Ruby asks.
The screen flashbacked to planet Irk. Sirens are going off, and several explosions occur all around the planet as a large robot is wreaking havoc all over the planet. In the cockpit of the battle mech, Arc pulls levers while laughing maniacally.
"He attacked his own base!" Ironwood said, astounded.
"I don't believe it." Winter gasps. "This version must be insane."
"That or it is a whole level of dense," Qrow said.
"Not even Jaune is capable of that." Weiss said. "But this version..."
"But sir, we're still on our own planet!" The Irken Operator exclaimed.
"Silence! Twist those knobs! Twist those knobs! You! Pull some levers! Pull some levers!" Arc demanded madly as the mech continued its rampage.
"Man, it sounds like Nora was the leader," Yang whispers.
The Tallest were watching from their tower as Arc continued to laugh like a madman as he blew up most of the planet as The flashback ends and Arc attempts to smile innocently.
"I put the fires out." Arc said.
"You made them worse!" Red scolded.
"Worse... or better?" Arc asked, with a sly grin.
"That is a good point." Nora said with a thoughtful look on her face.
"No it's not!" Weiss interjected.
"Guh..." Purple groans. "Besides, no Invader has ever been so... very small." Purple said. "You're very small, Arc. You're a tiny... thing." Purple said as Arc just blinks.
"Man, these guys seem a bit prejudiced against their own kind" Sun said.
"Yeah you could say that they're very...Tallest!" Yang punned and caused more groans.
"Good pun, sweetie!" Tai encouraged me.
"How?" Qrow asked.
"BUT... Invader's blood marches through my veins like giant RADIOACTIVE ROBO-PANTS!" Arc exclaimed loudly. "The pants command me!.. DO NOT IGNORE MY VEINS!"
"Wow this version of Jaune is a little..." Coco tried to find the right word to say.
"Unhinged?" Blake suggested.
"I think he's pretty funny," Nora smiled.
"I'd prefer it if he didn't scream every few seconds," Weiss said.
"I find it charming," Nora said.
"Of course you do." Weiss mutters.
Purple and Red just stare at Arc with awkward looks. "As a show of... gratitude for your service in the past... eh... Here's a sandwich." Red said as he pulled a sandwich out of his belt and handed it to Arc.
"That's it, just a sandwich?" Ruby said.
"Despite what he did on his own planet, he's lucky he's not imprisoned or something" Blake said.
"I guess it depends on the sandwich." Yang shrugged.
"But..." Arc tries to say.
"Thanks for coming, everybody!" Purple yells out as Arc protests. "Goodnight!"
"WAIT!" Arc yells out.
"What? You got your sandwich!" Purple says.
"My Tallest, an opportunity to prove I truly can be an Invader is all that I ask!" Arc pleaded. "Gimme!"
Red stares at Arc for a moment, before getting an idea. "Hold on, I've got a plan." Red whispers to Purple and goes to Arc. "We see now that you are truly deserving."
"What are they doing?" Ruby asks.
"Don't know yet, sis" Yang said.
"I don't think it's gonna be good for Arc." Coco said.
"Yes. Yes, I am." Arc said with a smile.
"Very modest." Ren comments.
Red stares at him for a moment. "You will be sent to a planet so mysterious, no one has even heard of it!"
"Right! And those who have heard of it... dare not speak its name!" Purple Tallest said in a grave tone.
"What's its name?" Arc asked.
"Oh, I dare not speak it!" Purple quickly said.
"Heh...funny" Ruby chuckled.
"Really? You laugh at that. but not one of mine" Yang said annoyed.
"Where is it?" Arc asked with a little scepticism in his tone.
"Um..." Red mutters as he looks at Purple for an answer but has nothing. He then went to the galaxy board and searched for a planet very far away. "Uh... Uh... Um... Right there!" Red said as he pointed to a slip of paper taped with an image of a planet with a question mark to the side of the board.
"Really?" Tai said with a raised brow. "No way is the kid going to fall for that."
"Ooh! A secret mission!" Arc said with excitement.
"Nevermind then." Tai said.
"You don't think the planet Jaune is gonna invade is ours, right?" Ruby asked with a hopeful tone.
"I really hope not," Glynda said.
"Happy now?" Red asked annoyed.
"Yes." Arc said in a quiet tone and an evil smirk.
"That was creepy" Sun slightly shivered at Jaune's tone and look.
"That's something I don't like seeing" Saphron said.
"Invaders, Report to the equipment hall!" Red ordered as he got back to the centre. "Oh, and remember, Lasers!" Red quietly said the last part.
A laser suddenly hits Purple in the eye. "Ahhhhhh!" Purple screams in pain as he drops to the ground.
"Ooh! Dick move!" Coco cringed.
"The universe will be ours for the taking!" Red announces as everyone cheers in response. "It's only a matter of time before all the races of the Universe serve... the IRKEN EMPIRE!" Red said as the screen shifts to the note before it changes to space and it keeps zooming in on the planet they were sending Arc to.
"I'll have them serve me the curly fries." Purple added as The word "Curly fries" zooms in until the planet is visible, then it is zoomed in until it gets to the roof of a single house where a boy was listening in on a satellite as he heard everything much to his horror.
"Oh boy," Qrow remarks as he takes a swing of his flask.
"It appears it is our world that Mr Arc is coming to." Ozpin said.
"Well that's not good," Nora said.
"Indeed." Pyrrha agreed in a worried tone.
This boy was Mercury, and he was excited and terrified. "They're coming!" Mercury gasped.
"Mercury?" Yang said.
"Oh great" Coco mutters as she rolls her eyes. "This guy."
He removes the headphones and runs off the roof of his house and proceeds to slide down a pipe.
"Pretty impressive" Glynda commented.
Inside the house, Mercury's sister, Emerald was currently checking the fridge for something but couldn't find the thing she wanted.
"Mercury drank the last soda. He will pay!" Emerald said with anger as she clenched her fists.
"So these two are brother sisters in this world" Ruby asks.
"Apparently so." Pyrrha said.
"They almost act like it from when I see them," Blake said.
Mercury, meanwhile, was still sliding down the rest of the pipe and swung through the window, where he fell into a sink filled with water, Emerald noticing his splash..
"They're coming!" Mercury cried out with wide eyes.
Mercury jumps out of the sink and runs to his father, Professor Watts and tries to get his attention.
"Watts." Ironwood gritted his teeth.
"I wouldn't worry about him," View said. "He's not evil in this."
"But he is a mad scientist, right?" Qrow asked.
"I suppose." View shrugged.
"Dad! They're coming!" Mercury screamed as he pulled on his lab coat. "I heard them! I actually heard them! I was up on the roof, and I heard this transmission that was coming through!"
"Shtshtshtsht! Not now son!" Watts hushed as he was deeply focused on something. "I'm making..." Watts said as sparks of electricity fly off as Watts showed off what he made. "TOAST!" Watt called out in triumph as he held out a piece of toast.
"Hmm, reminds me of father" Penny smiled.
With no help from his father, Mercury runs to his sister, Emerald in the hopes that she would listen. "Em, they're coming! They really are!"
"Who's coming, Merc?" Emerald asked, annoyed.
"I don't know..." Mercury said as he stares off in the distance.
The screen then fades back to the Irkens where the Invaders gather around the Tallest and Purple puts a robot on the ground before them.
"What are they doing now?" Pyrrha asked.
"You'll see." View said.
"This is your Standard Issue Information Retrieval Unit, also known as a SIR." Purple informed. "It will assist you in gathering valuable knowledge during your mission."
"It's also a thermos!" Red added.
"Neat feature" Velvet said.
Purple picks up the SIR. "Who wants this one?" Purple yells out as he holds the robot in one hand.
"I do!" An Invader calls out.
Purple throws it and it hits the Invader.
"Ow!" The Invader said in pain. "Thank you..."
"Ouch" Yang winced.
"That one almost sounded like Jaune," Ruby said.
"Everyone else, line up and take a robot!" Red said.
The invaders line up. Out of the wall, a long mechanical tentacle that serves as a conveyor belt emerges as several SIR units slide down. The first Invader in line, Larb, steps up. A SIR detaches from the wire and unfolds, on its feet and ready for action.
"Interesting design" Penny commented. "Though I'm do not approve of them being slaves"
"Don't worry, Penny." Ruby said. "I think you're better."
Penny smiled at her friend in response.
"SIR! Go warm up my ship's engines." Larb orders.
"Yes master, I obey!" The SIR said as he and the Invader walked away.
"Finally!" Arc said with excitement as he ran up to the conveyor. "A robot slave of my own!" Arc said as he reached his arms out.
Red and Purple look at Arc for a few moments before an idea pops up in their heads.
"Um, eh, we have a "top-secret" model for you, Arc." Red lied.
"Top secret" Ruby pondered.
"With them saying it, I don't imagine it'll be anything good" Ren said.
Red waves his hand over and a trashcan emerges. Red searches through the discarded parts as Purple hovers in front of him so Arc couldn't see what they were doing. Purple pulls out a couple of screws and other useless stuff from his pocket. Red attaches some eyes to a head as Purple dumps the junk in as a brain for the new robot.
Purple makes a howling kind of whistle noise and tosses the hunk of junk in front of Arc and It lies there, inactive.
"Is that it?" Sun asks.
"It appears so." Ghira said.
"So they're giving him that crappy little thing?" Ilia said.
"It looks kind of... not good." Arc said.
"Yes!" Purple quickly said. "Well, that's what the enemy will think!" Purple says as Red nodded in agreement. "Get it?"
"You'd have to be a complete moron to buy that-" Weiss says.
"I see! Very good! It even fooled me!" Arc said. "I am honored to be trusted with such advanced technology." The Irken said with respect.
"Nevermind" Weiss said.
"Hey, go easy on him." Saphron defend her brother. "He's just...a bit naive."
The Tallest giggle to themselves in amusement. Suddenly, the robot activates with red glowing eyes and runs up to Arc. "GIR, reporting for duty!" GIR saluted.
"It actually works?" Glynda asks, amazed that the little robot actually does function.
"Apparently so." Winter said.
"Did he say GIR?" Pyrrha asked.
"I think he did." Ren said.
"What does the G stand for?" Velvet asks.
"GIR? What does the 'G' stand for?" Arc asked
GIRs eyes turn blue. "I don't know!" GIR admitted, making a silly face.
Arc stands there dumbfounded as GIR then begins to hit himself in the head repeatedly.
"Wheeeeee hoo hoo hoo! Wheeeeeeee hoo hoo hoo!" GIR cried out madly.
"Uh...well he's...quite something." Sun said.
"He's insane," Weiss bluntly said.
"I like him!" Nora smiled at the insane robot.
"Um, is it supposed to be stupid?" Arc asked.
"It's not stupid. It's advanced!" Purple insisted.
GIR proceeds to bounce on his head repeatedly, as the Tallest continue to snicker.
"Very advanced." Blake comments dryly.
The screen then changed to space where all of the Irken ships started to leave Conventia. Arc's Cruiser separates from the rest and heads for the planet.
"It looks like he'll be far away from them," Winter said.
"Poor Jaune" Nora pouted.
"Okay, GIR! Our mission begins now! Let us reign some doom down upon the filthy heads of our doomed enemies!" Arc said in the most sinister tone he could muster up.
"I'm gonna sing the doom song now!" GIR suddenly said and began to sing. "Doom doom doom doom doom, doom doom do DOOM, DOOM doom do-doom, DOOM do-doom doom doooom, doom doom dooom, do-do-DOOM!"
GIR continues to sing the doom song as the cruiser zooms off in search of the planet to conquer, no matter how long it would take...
"Man that sure would get on my nerves." Qrow said.
"It is catchy though" Nora said.
"I wonder how long it'll take to get there," Velvet pondered.
"It can't be that long," Coco said.
6 MONTHS LATER
"Oh wow," Ruby said.
"The planet must've been very far away" Nora said.
"That it was" Ren said.
"I wonder how Arc dealt with it." Coco said.
We then see a weak-looking Arc lying back on his chair with his mouth hanging open and drool dripping while GIR was still singing the doom song.
"Doom doom doom doom doom, doom doom do DOOM, DOOM" GIR sang.
"He's still doing that!?" Yang said, amazed that the little robot was still singing.
"No one could sing for that amount of time!" Weiss exclaimed.
"Well he is a robot," Ozpin pointed out. "He can't exactly run out of breath"
"GIR... Would you please stop singing?" Arc pleaded weakly as GIR continued singing. GIR continues singing, pissing off Arc as he gets up and prepares to strangle GIR but is interrupted by the computer.
"Proximity warning! Planet ahead." The computer informed me as Arc turned to the panel that showed the planet's name.
"Oh no..." Tai said as he read the screen.
"This isn't gonna be good," Ghira said.
"GIR, we're here! We're finally here!" Arc said with excitement.
GIR gives Arc a hand motion indicating that he is not done singing the song. "Doom, doom, doom, the end! Ooh, WHASSAT?" GIR asks as he notices the planet they were nearing towards.
"At least the little whackjob stopped singing, there's a plus" Qrow said.
"Really?" Glynda said with a raised brow.
"Hey, I'd go nuts if I had to hear that song over and over." Qrow said.
"He's lucky he didn't have hear jaune sing that damn camp song when we were kids" Saphron mutters.
"Planet Remnant! This must be the place. Okay, first off we have to set up a base of operations." Arc said as he ship lowers down to the planet below.
"Heehee." GIR giggled.
"Focus, GIR!" Arc snapped. "This is where your advanced information gathering skills come in handy!"
"Sure, he's advanced alright" Coco chuckled.
"Advancedly stupid that is." Weiss remarks.
"Hey! Leave the poor robot alone." Nora defended. "I think he's funny"
GIR's eyes turn red and he salutes Arc. "Yes, my master!" GIR responded. his eyes then turn blue again as he rushes to the window.
"Seems to have a one track mind" Ironwood said.
"Better than having no mind like your tin cans, Jimmy" Qrow remarks, earning the Ire of Winter and Ironwood.
The Cruiser flies closer to the surface of Remnant through clouds. "You have to observe what these... Remnantenoids are considered to be... normal. Then, based on your observations, we make our disguises... and our home." Arc informed.
"I'll give him this, he's at least dedicated and smart enough to fill out a plan," Winter said.
"I wonder how long it'll take for him to conquer the planet" Tai said with a hint of worry.
"Well, considering he thought GIR was a top secret advanced robot, I wouldn't worry too much" Yang said.
The ship veers downward even closer to the surface of Remnant. As they fly by, the control panel shows many objects such as cars and squirrels. The ship passes over a number of many houses.
"Here! We build here!" Arc yells out as The ship abruptly stops over a gap between two houses and lowers down into it.
As the ship lands, it creates a great cloud of dust which seeps out into the street. Arc's shadowy figure walks out of the dust and looks around. "Ooh, that was easy!" Arc said.
"Couldn't the military have tracked it, like Mercury did?" Yang asked.
"You'll soon learn that this version of humans is quite...dense" View answered, making the audience confused.
"GIR! Get out here!" Arc orders. GIR jumps out of the ship and hits onto the craft on the way down, causing him to fall on his face.
"Hurry, GIR! What did you learn?" Arc demanded as GIR got up.
"I saw a squirrel." Gir stupidly said.
Arc gives GIR a puzzled look at his answer.
"It was doin' like this..." GIR then began to imitate the squirrel to Arc.
"What is he?" Tai asked.
"Insane." Winter answered.
"What can you expect?" Qrow asked. "His mind is literally made from junk."
"Concentrate, GIR! It is time for disguises!" Arc said intensely.
"I wanna be a mongoose." GIR mentions.
"Aw, come on, be a sloth!" Nora suggested.
"Shhh! We have to be quiet!" Arc whispers to his robot slave.
GIR's eyes turn red as he salutes Arc. Arc then creeps over to the Cruiser and glances around for anyone in sight. He turns to his pod which shift's in place to prepare for it's disguise feature.
Two poles emerge from the ship which creates a hologram in between them that displays an image of Arc. The computer sorts through possible disguises, starting with a tall skinny man.
"Hmm, interesting." Ozpin hummed.
"I wonder what he'll look like?" Ruby pondered.
"Too ugly!" Arc insulted as it shifted to a slightly larger man.
"Rude." Velvet frowned.
"Too stinky!" Arc loudly added.
"Mean" Nora added.
The next disguise is basically Arc wearing contact lenses and a toupee. "That one looks good!"
"What?" Weiss said with an annoyed look on her face. "That barely qualifies as a disguise."
"I mean, who's dumb enough to fall for that?" Yang asked.
"I don't know," Ruby smirked. "we were fooled by Blake though."
"Ruby, I have a bow that covers my features," Blake whispers out. "Jaune has green skin, he's going to stick out more than me"
"Oh." Ruby said. "Good point."
Arc selects that disguise to use against the humans. Two pod shells from the ship close on Arc making it into one pod. Light then pours out of the pod as Arc screams. "Guh! Why does it hurt!?" Arc yelled in pain.
The two shells open up, revealing Arc in his disguised form, leaving GIR completely surprised.
"Master? Where did you go? Where are you?" GIR said as he looked around in worry.
Arc waves his arms in front of the drone. "I'm right here, GIR! It's me!" Arc said with pride. "And keep it down, do you wanna wake up the whole planet?" Arc quickly snapped.
"I dooo." The robot moron nodded.
"What an idiot..." Weiss groaned.
"I think he's rather funny," Ruby smiled.
"I do too." Pyrrha admitted.
"Really?" Ren asks.
"Well, I do admit he is a little...odd, but he seems to be a very nice robot."
"Indeed!" Penny said in agreement. She herself rather liked GIR, thinking he was quite very fun to be around.
"Okay, for you, I'm thinking maybe a dog." Arc suggested as he turned back to the screen to pick out a disguise.
"YES!" Ruby cheered.
"Ugh..." Blake groaned.
"Can I be a mongoose dog?" GIR asks but Arc ignored him.
"There's no such thing," Glynda sighed.
"And believe us, Bart has checked." Ozpin said while drinking his coffee.
The disguise program goes through several breeds of dogs before Arc selects one.
"Today, we become... the enemy!" Arc announces as he places GIR between the closing pods and they immediately shut in on him. Light begins to pour out of the crevice where the two panels meet.
The pods open to reveal a poorly disguised GIR. His dog suit looks nothing like the one Arc chose and it's green.
"You've got to be kidding me," Weiss groans.
"Who is gonna fall for that?" Ilia asked.
"It does look a little convincing," Nora said.
"Yes, if you were blind" Weiss remarks.
"Ingenious!" Arc cried out with pride. "Now, all we need is a home. Let's see." Arc then pulls out a capsule, which unfolds as an electronic pad complete with pen and Arc begins to doodle on it.
Arc begins to draw a simple house with some other things attached to it. "Some windows, a couple of little animal things in front. There!"
"Oh, I am interested to see how this goes" Penny said.
"I am too." Ironwood said as he was interested in the device.
Arc closes the electronic pad into a capsule which transforms into a drill. He sticks the capsule into the ground and it begins to burrow below.
"GIR! Hide!" Arc orders as he ran from the spot, with GIR following him as he made squeaking sounds each time he moved and GIR ran onto the street while Arc hid behind a fire hydrant.
"AND BE QUIET!" Arc yelled out loud. "We can't afford to make a sound!"
"Great job there." Blake remarks dryly.
"Stealth doesn't seem to be a skill for Jaune," Ren stated.
"Considering he screams every word, that's obvious." Coco said.
The capsule digs deeper and deeper into the ground before it stops. It unfolds into a fan shape and shoots mechanical tentacles in all directions. The tentacles reach above ground and lift the ship up into the air.
"What's happening?" Ruby asks.
"It looks like he's moving in," Tai said as he continued to watch.
The hole the capsule made then shot out a couch out of it and landed on the ground as four poles shot up from the ground that interlock to form a box.
The tentacles that lifted the ship form a wire frame of the interior of the house. The four poles shootout beams of light that fill in the gaps between the poles. The beams of light then become solid walls, forming a house with two panels coming out of the top of the house which close over the ship which forms the roof.
A satellite formed from the side of the roof as a few large tentacles shoot out of the left and the right of the house and latch on to the houses near them. They bored into the walls of the neighboring homes.
"Such advanced technology!" Ironwood gasped.
"Oobleck would have a field day with this" yang mutters as she cautioned to stare at the screen.
In one house, a man sits in an armchair drinking a beer and watching television until he notices the hole, many smaller tentacles swarm into the house.
Below Arc's house, a lab full of Irken computers and technology forms. While back at the surface, lights on Arc's house flicker on as wooden fences sprout around the house, with gnomes, puffer fish, and a flamingo sprout in Arc's lawn.
The lights in the other houses turn on as they wake up from the disturbance as well as car alarms going off. Some of Arc's new neighbors look outside to see what is going on.
"Good job, kid" Qrow remarks. "Might as well be wearing a t-shirt saying I am a human on it"
"That...could have gone better." Ruby said.
"He could've moved to a different spot with fewer people," Velvet suggested.
"I doubt that would have been better," Ren said.
Arc grabs GIR by the leash and drags him along towards the house, while whistling as if nothing happened. GIR gets up and starts skipping ahead of Arc as they walk to their new house.
When they get to the door, it flies open and the two robots that resemble parents came to greet them. "Welcome home, son!" They said at the same time.
"Robot parents?" Ruby asks.
"Guess they're there to make the illusion more real" Pyrrha said.
"And there's no issue there." Ren comments.
Arc looks back for a brief moment and heads inside his new home along with GIR. "Wooooo! Step one went smoothly!" Arc sighs with relief.
"Is he joking?" Weiss deadpanned.
"We all know he's not," Glynda said.
He and GIR then walk past the living room where a picture of a green monkey hangs. They walk into the kitchen over to the trash can. GIR steps on the pedal that opens it and Arc climbs inside.
An elevator takes him down to the underground portion of his house, which looked to be purely of Irken design. "The Tallest were wise to choose me." Arc said with pride.
"I feel kind of bad for him," Ruby said. "He really wants to impress them but they clearly don't care"
"Well, at least he'll prove them wrong when he conquers the world!" Nora said with pride for her leader.
"Uh, Nora..." Pyrrha tried to say.
"We'll explain it later." Ren assured.
"This planet won't know what hit it after I've learned its weaknesses... D'OH," Arc hisses in pain as he scratches his eyes. "These lenses are all scratchy!"
"Kinda like wearing eye contacts" Glynda said as she once wore contacts.
The elevator then drops him onto a chair facing a computer. Arc proceeds to type with the keyboard. "Now, to find the best possible way of "learning" about this sad, filthy little planet." Arc snarled. "The more we know, the sooner we can conquer this spinning ball of... filthy, er-er-er, dirt!" Arc hissed in disgust.
Arc's computer displays an image of the "Skool" building which Arc will be attending.
"Looks like he's going to school," Velvet said.
"Why is it spelled wrong?" Weiss asked with an annoyed look. "That's not how it spelled.
"Of course you'd be annoyed by something so minor" Yang rolled her eyes.
The scene then cuts to the classroom of the "Skool"
The teacher, Ms. Bitters stands at the front and Arc stands next to her. "Class, I would like to introduce the newest, hopeless appendage to the student body."
"Ergh...creepy lady" Nora shuddered.
"His name is... Arc." The teacher introduces. "Arc, if you have something to say, say it now, because after this moment, I don't wanna hear another sound from you!" Bitters snarls as she moved like an insect speed towards the student in a threatening way.
"Yeah, Nora was right, that lady is creepy as hell." Coco comments.
"Man, And here I'd thought Goodwitch was scary" Yang remarks.
"What was that, Miss Xiao Long!?" Glynda snapped.
"NOTHING!" Yang quickly said.
"Hello, friends. I am a perfectly normal human worm baby." Arc introduces himself. "You have nothing, absolutely nothing to fear from me."
"Eh, I've heard kids say weirder" Qrow shrugged.
"Like what?" Tai asked.
"Well, mainly from that bomber girl from Arc's team" Qrow said.
As Arc talks, his classmates look bored and uninterested except for Mercury who points and stares with his mouth agape.
"Well, at least there's someone who's not buying it," Weiss said.
"Don't think that's gonna be good for Jaune though," Velvet said, worried.
"Just pay no attention to me and we'll get along just fine." Arc finishes.
"Take your seat now, Arc." Bitters instructed as Arc walked with his arms out to an empty desk in the front. "Today's lecture is about outer space... and how it will eventually implode in on itself!"
"Man, she is brutal" Coco comments.
"I'd hate to be in her class," Ruby said.
Arc then stands on his desk with both arms up.
"Yes, Arc?" Bitters asks.
"In the event of, say, a full-scale alien invasion, how prepared do you think this planet's defenses would be? Tell me!" Arc asks in a demanding tone.
Bitters raises an eye at this. "As I was saying, the universe is just doomed. Doomed, doomed, dooooomed!" She draws as a bug crawls across her face and continues to say "doomed" over and over.
"Well she's as nuts as most the people in this world" Ilia said.
"I'll say." Sun said.
She kept going on and on while Mercury stared at Arc from his spot. "Okay, am I the only one here who sees the alien sitting in class?" Mercury asks as the class looks around for an alien.
"It's not just you kid." Qrow said. "All those other kids are just dumb."
"That's not very nice, Uncle Qrow" Ruby frowned.
"Doesn't mean he's wrong" Coco mutters.
"There!" Mercury said as he pointed at Arc. "Right there!" Mercury said as Arc began to sweat. "That is no kid! He's an alien! An alien! One of the monsters I've been talking about! He's here to conquer Remnant!" Mercury ranted.
Arc nervously moves his finger towards a self-destruct button on his sleeve until a kid leans on Arc's chair.
"Aw, not this again. You're crazy!" The girl is insulted as Arc relaxes and the self-destruct button disappears.
"Was he really willing to blow everyone up!?" Pyrrha exclaims in shock.
"It's a good thing he didn't," Kali sighs.
"What about his horrible green head!?" Mercury asks.
"Insolent fool boy!" The hidden Irken snarls. "It's a skin condition." Arc said calmly as his eyes darted.
"And he's got no ears!" Mercury shouted as he got up to one kid's face. "Is that part of your "skin condition", Arc? No ears?"
Arc looked embarrassed at this. "Yes."
The students look angrily at Mercury . "Man, Mercury . You think that just 'because someone looks different, you can call them an alien?"
"What a jerk," Nora jokingly said.
"I know right, he needs to learn to be more sensitive," Yang joined in.
Weiss groans in response.
"I guess Old Kid's an alien too, huh?" One of the kids pointed to a kid behind who, who looked old for his age while retaining his height.
"How's it goin'?" Old kid greeted me.
"How the hell...?" Sun mutters as he was confused by that kid and how he can be old and young at the same time.
"Professor Port?" Ruby thought to herself.
Mercury then walks over to the chalkboard. "Okay, see this is us-" Mercury said as he points to a drawing of a human and a drawing of Arc. "-Now over here, over here is Arc." Mercury uses a pointer to point to the sketch of Arc. "See the difference? Anyone? Anyone? Questions?" Mercury asked in an erratic way.
"Yeah, what's wrong with you? All you talk about is aliens and ghosts and seeing Bigfoot in your garage!" A kid said.
"He was using the belt sander..." Mercury mutters.
"But why?" Ruby asked.
"One of life's many questions" View simply said.
"Yeah, he's always saying stuff." Arc chuckled. "I remember that one time, whoo!"
"Hey! You just got here!" Mercury pointed out. "Don't let him trick you! I know what I'm talking about, and there it is... sitting right there!"
"Well, he does look... pretty weird." A random kid said as Arc looked nervous, while the word weird passed by Arc.
"Oh boy..." Qrow said.
"Things aren't going well for him" Saphron said, worried.
"Yeah! And he is sitting!" Another kid added as the word Sitting passes by Arc.
"Ya see? Actual proof that all the things I've been saying are actually right!" Mercury says with excitement. "Finally, a way to prove that I'm, that I'm..."
"...That I'm crazy!" Arc said, mocking Mercury.
"Okay, now that makes sense!" The girl said in "realisation"
"Man, we almost believed him!" Another kid said.
"Kids." Qrow shrugged. "One track mind"
"Hey, give us some credit, Qrow," Yang said in defence. "We're not that dumb"
"No, but the one I've met are," Qrow said.
"At least he got away with it." Pyrrha said.
"Except for Mercury." Blake pointed out.
Black bars appear above and below Mercury and Arc's faces as the two stare at each other.
"Doom, doom, doom. Go home now!" Bitters finish.
The bell rings and students rush out of the Skool. Some students climb out of the windows to escape.
"That quick?" Sun said.
"Man, I wish school classes were that quick" Nora pouted.
"I don't think I'd like to be in the same room as that teacher," Ren said.
Arc pauses for a moment and then proceeds to slowly walk down the steps. The doors open behind him and Mercury appears.
"Arc." Mercury called out, gaining the alien's attention. "Maybe your cruddy little disguise worked on everyone else, but I'll get them to see the truth."
"No one will believe you." Arc said in a hushed tone.
"They'll believe if I bring you to them without your disguise!" Mercury said as he slides down the side railings of the steps and lands in front of Arc.
"And how is he gonna do that?" Velvet asks.
"It's ture" Coco said in agreement with her partner. "He's still a kid."
He then pulls out a pair of advanced handcuffs. "I ordered this from one of my U.F.O. zines." Mercury said as he opened the handcuffs.
"Oh, it's pretty. What is it?" Arc asked, intrigued by such a device.
"Alien sleep cuffs, guaranteed to render all alien life forms unconscious." Mercury informed, eager to use them on Arc.
"How do you know it works if you never found an alien before?" Arc asked.
"Huh, that's a really good question." Ruby said.
Mercury was quiet for a few seconds before answering. "I'm gonna find out right now!" Mercury yells like a madman as he leaps at Arc who just jumps just in time and lands on top of Whitley. Arc begins to run as Mercury chases after him.
"Run Jaune! Run!" Nora cried out.
"Don't let that creepy kid get you" Saphron joined in.
"Creepy?" Terra asks.
"Well, it's that look in his eyes" Saphron pointed out.
"I can see it." Ilia said.
Arc runs into a girl and continues while the girl tries to pick up her work until Mercury knocks into her, pushing her to the ground while chasing after Arc.
"Leave me alone! I just wanna go home and be all normal!" Arc screams as he jumps through an open window of an open car door while Mercury chases after him.
"Heh, reminds me of you, Rubes" Yang jokes.
"Not funny, Yang" Ruby pouted. "I am way past normal"
"Not from what I've seen" Weiss mutters.
Arc then runs out into the street, while knocking into a crossing guard. The crossing guard spins around and accidentally hits Mercury with his stop sign. Arc smiles and runs into an alleyway.
"Oh, hard hit!" Sun winced.
Arc jumps up onto a pair of pants hanging on a clothesline and proceeds to slide down the clothesline, knocking off all the other clothes. Mercury suddenly appears at the other end of the alleyway in front of Arc. Arc lets go of the pants and hits a box of oranges, knocking Mercury over.
"Where'd he come from!" Yang exclaims.
"He's determined, I'll give him that," Blake said.
Arc goes into the street and is almost hit by a car. The car stops and honks at Arc, but Arc climbs to the top of the car and runs on the cars behind the one he was on.
He hops from car to car while Mercury follows him while on the sidewalk. Arc then climbs to the top of an ice cream truck. Out of the speakers of the ice cream truck is a strange, hypnotizing voice.
"You lakh ice cream. You lakh ice cream. You have it. You cannot reseest ice cream." The voice said as Mercury laughs maniacally at Arc. "To reseest is 'opeless. Your exeestence is meaningless without ice cream." The voice continues as Arc notices the skool buses passing by.
"Huh, I don't think I'd want to go near that ruck." Yang said as she was creeped out.
"Me too," Ruby said in agreement.
Arc then jumps from the ice cream truck to the skool bus. Mercury ran onto the street and then quickly climbed the skool bus. Arc backs up as Mercury approaches him while the kids watch.
Arc backs away from Mercury until he is left hanging by the edge of the bus. "They might even name your autopsy video after MEEE!" Mercury says like a mad man.
"Geez, Merc" Coco said, shocked by his sheer mad look.
"I get trying to protect your planet but this might be going a tad too far." Sun said.
"I think he wants to gain recognition for finding him," Pyrrha suggested.
The bus starts moving again and drives off as Arc and Mercury struggles. Arc then loses his grip from the bus and he flies through the air and lands on top of a metal fence while making a painful noise.
"Ha! See ya, Mercury!" Arc insulted as the bus drove off. "Pitiful human!"
Suddenly, a dog jumps out of the bushes behind the fence and bites down on Arc's head, pulling him down as Arc screams.
"Huh, guess Arc is all bark and no bite, eh! eh!" Yang punned, gaining groans.
"When will it end" Weiss groans.
"Never." Ruby mutters.
The skool bus passes by and Mercury jumps off onto the other side of the fence. He looked into the bushes for Arc but couldn't find him. But he doesn't notice that Arc is crawling out of the bushes down below. He is in pain but unnoticed.
"Probably the only time he'll be quiet" Glynda said.
"When his life's on the line, sure," Winter added.
Arc looks up and sees that Mercury is still on the top of the fence looking for Arc in the bushes. Arc then pushes Mercury into the bushes as the dog begins to attack him next.
Arc stands on the fence as a communicator attached to his Pak and proceeds to contact his robot. "GIR! Help me! There isn't much time!" Arc orders.
"Yes, sir!" GIR responded.
Almost instantly, GIR arrives on his dog disguise while using his jetpack as Arc hops down from the fence.
"Woah, that was quick!" Sun said.
"Probably faster then Ruby!" Nora exclaims.
"Hey!" Ruby cried out.
"Get me out of here now, GIR! Now!" Arc orders.
"Okey dokey!" GIR happily responds as he flies underneath Arc and gets him into the air. "Hey, wait a minute! what the? Ahhhhhh!" Arc grips GIR by the ears as they fly off while Arc screams.
Mercury crawls out of the bushes looking disheveled and angry. He smiles as he noticed he can follow the smoke trail GIR's made.
"Well, that is not good for Mr Arc."
"There's no way he'll even catch up in time," Ghira said.
"Not from what we've seen," Tai said.
Arc screams as he and GIR rocket towards the house. They smack into the door and fall to the ground. They get up and Arc looks badly beaten and has a twig in his wig. "Good work, GIR..." Arc said woozly and GIR looked happy with his progress.
"Good GIR!" Nora smiled.
"He is quite helpful." Ren said.
"And yet still insane" Weiss added.
"I'm fine with that." Nora said.
"I expected no less," Blake said.
"There you are." Mercury 's voice sounded out as Arc and GIR turned to see Mercury emerging from the smoke trail and looking incredibly tense.
"Man, that kid is really determined to get Jaune," Yang said.
"Hasn't he got a life?" Coco said.
"Nope." View shook his head.
"Quick! Get in the house, GIR! Hurry!" Arc ordered as he rushed himself and GIR inside as the Roboparents greeted them.
"Welcome home, son!" The decoy parents say at the same time as The door shuts behind them and Mercury runs up and pounds on it.
"Your little tricks won't fool me, Arc! I know where you live now!" Mercury yells as he gets near the window. while Arc was still by the door.
"Oh, your friend's at the window!" GIR pointed out.
"Friend is a very strong word," Blake says.
"It's not like there's gonna be Besties" Ruby said. "Like me and Weiss!" Ruby as she went to hug Weiss.
"What have I told you about hugging me?" Weiss angrily said.
"You can't hide forever!" Mercury yells out as he gets his cuffs out. "And if you can, then I'll wait forever!"
As Mercury was yelling, Lasers began to pop out of the pupils of one of the lawn gnomes. The aiming system zooms in Mercury's cuffs.
"I've been preparing for this all my life!" Mercury shouted.
"Depends on how long you have left of it if you stay there." Ilia remarks.
The Gnome then fired a laser bolt from the lawn gnome and disintegrated the cuffs.
"Okay... I'm going to go home now and prepare some more!" Mercury said in a slightly intimidated tone as GIR takes off his disguise. "But I'll be back, and from here to the ends of the Remnant, Arc—" Mercury continued on while Arc spoke with GIR.
"I feel good about how today went." Arc smiles as he pulls out a twig from his wig.
"At least someone's happy," Ozpin said.
"I have a feeling that won't be the end of him," Pyrrha said.
"I believe so too, Pyrrha," Ren said in agreement.
The screen then changes to the Tallest ship cruising through space. Inside the ship, Red and Purple were relaxing while the crew were currently receiving a message.
"Incoming transmissions from... Remnant." The Irken said while trying to pronounce its name while the name appeared on screen.
"What is... Remnant?" Purple Tallest asked while Red sips on a soda.
"That don't even know the planet Jaune went to?" Saphron said.
"I guess they wanted to quickly forget about him." Terra said.
"Boy, are they gonna be surprised" Nora grinned.
The large view screen then displays Arc with a confident grin. "Invader Arc reporting, sirs. The mission goes well." Arc said while GIR poked his head from the side.
Red drops his soda in shock while Purple stares with his mouth agape.
"But surely you expected that from me." Arc said with pride in his tone.
Red spit the remainder of his drink. "Arc... You're alive!?" Red Tallest said in shock and some sadness.
"That's right, bitches!" Nora cried out.
"Language!" Glynda snapped.
"Yes. So very alive." Arc said while GIR waved. "And full of goo. Mission gooo!" Arc said intensely.
"Don't be surprised if I take care of the humans before the armada even gets here!" Arc said. He then gave a salute to the Tallest. "Well, I've much work to do, so: Invader Arc, signing off!"
GIR then falls down from whatever he was on and falls right on top of Arc.
"Oh, my spine!" Arc groaned in pain as the transmission faded away.
Red and Purple glance at each other in disbelief and worry as heir troubles would surely begin at this point. Then the screen goes to black.
"So, thoughts" View asked as the screen turned itself off.
"I liked it," Nora smiled.
"It's a tad more darker than the stuff we've seen before" Ruby pointed out. "But I liked it well enough."
"I thought it tended to be ridiculous." Weiss said. "But it has its moments."
"Do you guys think Jaune will ever conquer the world in this dimension?" Yang asks.
"I doubt it," Ironwood said.
"Never don't an Arc's determination" Saphron said.
"Or his density" Weiss mutters.
"Heard that." Saphron said, making Weiss bolt up in response.
Thanks for reading this chapter of Worlds of Arc
I didn't think I'd get to do anything related on Halloween after being gone a while but I decided to do a chapter from an old favorite of mine. Sorry for those who wanted a second Halloween Heist, but I didn't have the time to do so and thought this was good enough.
And please no one ask me to do more of this. This was just a one off for Halloween. I'm not going to be more of these for a long while. Sorry.
Anyways, thanks for reading this chapter, it might be a while before the next one, but it'll be a good one. Thanks and Happy Halloween!
