Nexus240: Indeed. He'll always be the best Ranger there ever was.

Zekken182: Sorry, While I did see the film, I ultimately didn't enjoy it as much. Plus, I'm not doing trailers anymore.

ZonZus: Yeah, it'll definitely be an emotional ending to say the least.

Gamelover41592: No problem. Good suggestion.

Reader: Yep. I may do a few more DBZA chapters.

Omni warrior: Sorry, I haven't played Tekken before.

Luffy L Deathwalker: That does sound like a good suggestion.

StrongGuy159: Good suggestions. I may do a few.

Ben Turner1: Glad you enjoyed it. My main goal for the story is to have the Spider-Man storyline finished.

Ultrasonic215: If I were to do Forever Red, I would have it be different characters be the other Red Rangers. Except for Aurico.

Guest: That it will.

Soulverse2022: I would love to do God of War and Ragnarok. But I may save it for the sequel.

Warmachine324: Thanks. I might do a chapter based on the Arkham series one day.

Batthan the Dark Knight: I would love to do some based on Batman in honor of Kevin Conroy's passing.

VirusChris: I may do a few more other chapters. I might do Sonic, not sure. As for Clone Wars, I'm Finished with that for the moment.

ElectricDragonSemblanceHunter: I'm only doing the main story.

Maximum Rhapsody: It's possible. I don't plan on doing complete reactions to Venom or Shazam unfortunately. Not sure about there being more girls.

Draco711: I will do more to take my time and to take breaks now and then. While I do like the DLC, I'd purely focus on the main story. I'm sorry to say that Broly might not happen. I appreciate the offer, but at the moment, I prefer using my own content for the time being. I will let you know if I change my mind.

ENDDRAGON369: I can see what you mean.

SPARTAN-626: I wouldn't mind a chapter based on RvB, Jaune as Wash is a good idea.

PF115: You'll find out soon enough.

NAJ P. Jackson: Actually, I already showed in other chapters that I already had Whitley as Harry. Probably, but I felt it was too obvious.

Dragon Bone Z: I can understand if you don't like it as much. I just wanted this story line to be finished. I haven't seen either of those things unfortunately.

MichaelMyers1234: As said before, I wouldn't mind doing a God of War story.

Ultra Instinct Jaune Arc: That would be awesome. Haven't played Final Fantasy 7 yet.

QrowxBar: Hopefully, I won't take too long. Just so long as I remember to take breaks and be sure to keep a steady work pace. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the film yet.

Pharamine: Glad to be back.

Ibragimovruslan553: While I would agree it would make a good reaction, I have stated before that I won't be covering the DLC or side quests.

Infanteglenn7: That is something I have yet to watch.

DCCSG2: If I were to do another Moon Knight chapter, I would have that exact match up of the characters.

Omarnosian10: Yeah, I could see Harriet as Sable as well.

Nineandahalftails: I don't think I'll be doing anymore Doctor Who for the time being.

BL4Z3: I might save that idea for the sequel.

The screen opened up on the aftermath of the previous events that occurred, with Jaune having just dealt with an ambush from corrupted civilians, courtesy of Adam Taurus. Now equipped in his Spider-Man suit, Jaune was currently perched on top of the FEAST building as he made a call to Blake.

The phone answered as he heard Blake's voice. "Captain Belladonna." Blake greeted.

"I finally got your evidence. Head to the F.E.A.S.T. center in Chinatown." Spider-Man informed.

"What am I going to find?" Blake asked.

"A lot of creepy and crazy stuff." Yang answered.

"A nice lady named Glynda Arc..." Jaune said. "And some really weird stuff hidden in Taurus's office. But listen, he's got another attack planned."

"Where?" Blake asked. "When?"

"Still working on that," Jaune admitted. "But I think he's going to use something called "Devil's Breath."

"Sounds...destructive." Blake said, sounding worried by the name alone. "What is it?"

"Nothing good I imagine." Blake said.

"At least now, they have the evidence against him." Velvet said with hope.

"They still need to find Adam." Coco pointed out.

"And hopefully before he causes anymore damage." Ren added.

"A substance created by Schneecorp. Probably a bio weapon of some kind." Spider-Man informed. "I have a folder full of info on it. I'm holding onto it for now. I'll send copies as soon as I can."

This was more than enough for Blake. "Okay, we'll check his office. If the evidence stands up, I'll put out an APB." Blake assured as the call went off.

Just as that call ended, Jaune decided to call Pyrrha to let her know what he discovered. "Pyr, hey. Just checking in." Jaune greeted in a rather fond tone.

"Jaune, hey," Pyrrha said in a quiet tone. "Can I call you back?"

"I think you'll want to hear this." Jaune insisted, but heard the tone of voice she was using. "Wait, why are you whispering?" Jaune asked.

"Just...in the middle of something." Pyrrha said, making Jaune all the more curious. "How about we catch up over dinner?" Pyrrha suggested. "My place?"

Ironwood hummed in thought. "Hmm, sounds like she may be doing some of her own investigating." Ironwood observed.

"Hopefully, she's not in too much trouble." Qrow said. "She's still a normal human. She's prone to more damage."

"Hey, don't underestimate our girl!" Nora said in support of her teammate and friend.

Pyrrha smiled. "Thank you, Nora."

"Oh, sure." Jaune eagerly said. "I'll even cook."

"Cool. See ya." Pyrrha said as she was about to hang up.

"Wait!" Jaune quickly said. "Remember how you told me about Taurus's 'corrupting' touch? I think I just saw it in action."

"How?" Pyrrha asked.

"Some perfectly nice homeless people just jumped me. Thing is, they had glowing eyes and I remembered Blake telling me something similar about the guard who released Shocker." Spider-Man explained.

"So Shocker *was* working for Taurus? It's all connected." Pyrrha said, shocked and stunned by all of this information.

"But where did he even get this power?" Blake wondered. "He couldn't have been born with it."

"There's more. But I guess we'll talk about it at dinner?"

"Yeah. See ya." Pyrrha said as the call went off.

"Dinner. Hm. What should I cook?" Jaune asked himself as he leaped off of the building and began web swinging throughout the city.

"Sounds like a perfect date~!" Nora said in a sing-song tone towards Pyrrha.

Pyrrha blushed at this, but couldn't stop herself from smiling at the thought. Perhaps this could be a good chance for their relationship to be rekindled in this world. It could give her inspiration for what to do when she goes back to Beacon.

But as he swung throughout his city, Jaune was getting another call. This time, from his mentor, Ozpin. "Oh, hi. Doctor. How are you?" Jaune greeted.

"Arc! EXCITING news! Come by the lab!" Ozpin said, rather excitedly.

"Uh, like, now?" Jaune asked.

"Yes, now!?" Pyrrha exclaimed within her mind that her date would be put on hold.

"This is my defining moment! Can't wait to show you..." Ozpin said with much enthusiasm in his tone.

"Heh," Qrow chuckled. "I haven't seen Oz excited this much in a long time."

Ironwood smiled in agreement. "Indeed." Ironwood said as he looked at his old friend. "You do seem a bit more excitable in this."

Ozpin merely shrugged. "I have my moments now and then."

"Cool. Um, I've got dinner plans. Can I come by later?" Jaune asked as he was hoping to cook for Pyrrha.

"Dinner can wait. You *need* to see this. Jaune." Ozpin insisted.

Pyrrha groaned as she folded her arms in frustration at this.

"I apologize Miss Nikos." Ozpin said. "I didn't mean to hinder you and Mr. Arc's relationship."

"Uh... okay." Jaune said, giving in to his quest. "Be right there." Jaune said as the call turned off and he headed towards their lab. "Wonder if this means I have a job again. Guess I can stop by. Just for a minute." Jaune said to himself.

"I'm hoping he does." Saphron said.

After a few minutes of Web-Swinging, Jaune made his way to the laboratory. He entered through the roof. After getting changed into his lab coat, Jaune entered past the door and saw his mentor from afar as he was working on something.

"Hey Doctor!" Jaune greeted

"Hello Jaune." Ozpin greeted in response. "I'll be just a minute."

Jaune looked around the room and saw there was a large amount of new boxes and equipment."Wow, look at all this new stuff." Jaune said in awe. "We really need to get better about organizing our workspace..." Jaune said. "Where did you get all this equipment?" Jaune asked as he looked at one of the boxes that held the logo "A.I.M."

"Woah." Ruby said in awe. "That is a lot of stuff."

Weiss nodded in agreement with her partner. "It sure is."

"AIM?" Ironwood repeated. "I don't think I've heard of that organization before."

"Hopefully, they're not corrupt." Winter said, not noticing View's slightly anxious look.

"Called in every last favor. Took out a few loans. It's like we're starting over once again. But this time's going to be different." Ozpin said with both optimism and confidence.

Jaune nodded as he looked over at a work table with a prosthetic arm on it. Jaune walked over and inspected it to see it's been improved. "You've been busy." Jaune commented, amazed by the progress Ozpin's been making.

"Just getting started." Ozpin said with confidence. "You know, until now we've been looking at prosthetics from the wrong perspective. Why restore people to what they were... when we can make them *better*?" Ozpin suggested.

Ironwood looked down at his robot hand. "Sometimes, it's better to try and restore them to what they used to be rather than make them something they're not."

"It's clear my counterpart does not see that yet, James." Ozpin said.

"Okay. I think that should do it..." Ozpin said as he placed the finishing touches on his project, prompting Ozpin to walk over to the table where Jaune was at with a controller in his hands. He turned to his student. "You ready?" Ozpin asked with an excited smile as Jaune nodded in response.

Ozpin flipped the switch on the controller, causing the prosthetic arm to slowly lift itself up, much to Jaune and Ozpin's amazement as they smiled at this as the arm raised its hand in the air.

The arm then reached over to a nearby coffee mug to grab it. But the arm began twitching in place before it could pick it up as Ozpin was struggling to maintain control, looking to be in pain while doing so.

"Is...Professor Ozpin alright?" Ruby asked with concern.

"Yeah, he does look in pain." Sun said in agreement.

"Maybe he hasn't had rest?" Velvet suggested.

Jaune turned over to his mentor with a look of worry on his face. "Everything okay...?" Jaune asked as Ozpin continued to struggle to maintain control over the arm, which had managed to grab the cup.

But Ozpin couldn't maintain control as the arm let go of the coffee mug, dropping it to the ground as it shattered to pieces.

Ozpin hissed in frustration. "DAMMIT!" Ozpin yelled. "This is all your fault, Jacques, you son of a-!" Ozpin yelled down as he threw the controller to the floor. Ozpin breathed deeply as he placed his hands on the table to catch his breath.

The audience were quite surprised to see this outburst coming from Ozpin of all people. He always seemed so calm and composed.

"Woah, I haven't seen Ozpin like that...ever." Yang said.

"I don't think anyone has." Coco said.

"I will admit, when I was younger, I was a tad bit emotional."

"Damn, I would've liked to have seen that." Qrow said.

"Trust me my friend, you wouldn't." Ozpin said in a serious tone.

"Well. I know who you're NOT voting for in the next election." Jaune awkwardly joked in an attempt to lighten things up. This prompted Ozpin to look up at his student as Jaune quickly apologized. "Sorry. I have a habit of making bad jokes in, uh, tense situations."

"Yeah, probably not the best time." Coco said.

"Still, at least he's trying to help." Nora said in defense of her leader.

Ozpin instead just chuckles to himself. "It was a good joke, Arc." Ozpin said. "Just a bit of an overreaction on my part."

"No... don't worry." Jaune assured. "Why don't you take a break. I'll clean this up and get us ready for another test." Jaune suggested, with Ozpin nodding in response as he walked over to collect himself. Jaune kneeled down on the floor to collect the broken pieces but asked his mentor something while he was there. "So uh... hope you don't mind me asking, but... it seems like you and Jacques have a bit of a history..."

"We were lab partners in college, became friends," Ozpin said with a small fond tone. "decided to start a business." Ozpin recalled as he leaned back on a table. "We both had visions of... changing the world— just in different ways."

"Them? Friends?" Ironwood said in disbelief.

"It is very hard to believe that would be." Glynda said

"I'll say." Qrow said in agreement.

"Wait, you were at Schneecorp when it started?" Jaune said, standing up in surprise at this news.

Ozpin just put his hands up. "I'm half the reason it's called Schneecorp. In grad school everyone called us "The OJ's" Ozpin said as he sighed while sitting down. "Add "corp" to the first name and, well...it is a catchy name."

"I do not love that name." Yang said.

"I can't say I could ever imagine a world where you and Jacques would ever work together." Ironwood said.

"Well, why'd you leave?" Jaune asked.

"Jacques became more and more obsessed with genetics. He started a project I considered unethical, and there was this..." Ozpin said before stopping himself, a look of brief sadness appeared on his face. "Anyway, lawyers got involved. I chose to leave in exchange for a settlement. But that money didn't last very long. I've relied on grants ever since." Ozpin said. He placed a hand on his head. "If this project doesn't work..."

Ozpin recognized that look before. Even if he had different lifetimes to live, he always knew what a face like that meant. Which led him to think what caused the rift between him and Jacques and what more there could have been there.

"Don't worry. It'll work." Jaune assured. "Let me just fix this up..." Jaune offered.

Ozpin nodded and stood up. "I'll brew some fresh coffee." Ozpin said as he went over to brew some while Jaune began working on the adjustments.

"Be sure to run a diagnostic on the control unit." Ozpin advised. "Could be a short."

Jaune nodded as he went to work over on the controller. He looked over the device to adjust the voltage as well as other things. After a few minutes of adjusting and fixing, Jaune was able to get the controller working once more.

Jaune walked over to where Ozpin was ready to hand over the control over to him. "Oh...Why don't you do the honors this time?" Ozpin offered. He walked over to the side as he held in arm for a brief moment before grabbing the coffee.

Ozpin walked over back to Jaune as he began testing the arm. The arm slowly moved itself as it carefully grabbed the coffee mug and slowly lifted it up towards Jaune and Ozpin.

Jaune laughed in excitement at this. "Ha! I think we did it!"

Penny smiled at this. "They got it working again!"

"That's great." Ruby said in agreement.

"Hopefully, they'll get to keep both their jobs." Pyrrha said.

Ozpin smiled at this. "Next step, neural interface."

"That's a lot of work for you to do by yourself. Sure you can handle it?" Jaune asked.

"Apparently not, judging by today's debacle." Ozpin said, with a hint of annoyance at himself.

"He shouldn't be too hard on himself." Kali said.

"Because I still haven't found another job..." Jaune quickly said.

"My funds are still..."

"I know. It's okay, don't worry. I'll figure it out." Jaune said in a positive tone. "What's a few bucks when you're trying to change the world, right?" Jaune smiled.

"That's our Jaune!" Nora said with a wide smile. "Always loyal."

Ren smiled and nodded in agreement. "That he is."

"Indeed." Pyrrha said with her own smile.

Ozpin smiled at his pupil's optimism. "To changing the world..." Ozpin said as he raised his mug to Jaune. Jaune used the controller to use the robot arm to tap the mugs together as the two scientists smiled.

Moments later, Jaune was finishing up things in his lab as he suddenly got a notification on his phone. "Missed call from Pyrrha." Jaune said to himself. "Doctor. I need to go, but I'll be back later."

"Don't worry, the work will still be here when you get back." Ozpin said as Jaune went to exit out of the lab.

Once Jaune got out of the building and into his Spider-Man suit, he swung himself onto the roof of the building so that he could hear Pyrrha. "Hey sorry I missed your call. We still on for dinner?" Jaune asked.

"Dinner? Oh, yeah. I was calling you about something else but yeah, we should talk over dinner." Pyrrha said.

"Offer still stands for me to come over and cook..." Jaune offered.

"Oh really. Well. I like to take risks." Pyrrha said, amused. "I already have some stuff from the store. Can't wait to see what you come up with."

"Swinging over now. Prepare to be amazed." Jaune said with a smirk under his mask as he swung over to Pyrrha's apartment as she giggled over his enthusiasm.

"Sounds like Date Night is back on track." Nora grinned while Yang and Velvet grumbled to themselves.

Pyrrha was quite happy to see where this goes herself, but she was also curious to discover what her counterpart was up to when she was being quiet in the last conversation she had with Jaune.

After swinging his way through the city, Jaune made his way to Pyrrha's apartment. He knocked on the door and it opened to show Pyrrha with a smile on her face.

"Jaune." Pyrrha said with eagerness as she hurried him in. "You're not gonna believe what happened. So, you know that address you gave me? I went there."

"Pyrrha..." Jaune said in a worried tone.

"Oh, he sounds so worried." Saphron smiled, reminded of her and Terra.

"He does have a right to be." Glynda said. "Pyrrha couldn't be caught by the Demons."

"She was only trying to help." Ruby defended.

"Still, she could've told him." Tai said.

"I know, I know. But wait." Pyrrha said as she grabbed a small coin-like object from her couch.

"What is this?" The blonde vigilante asked.

"Just listen." Pyrrha said as she began to explain her story.

EARLIER IN THE DAY

The screen then changed to a biker workshop where numerous biker gang members were hanging around. Unaware that Pyrrha Nikos was also here. "This is the address Jaune found... Men are all carrying firearms, what is this place?" Pyrrha thought to herself as she was crouched down to hide from the bikers.

"At least they're not Demons." Ruby said optimistically

"Yeah, but they're still carrying guns that can kill." Ilia pointed out.

"So long that Pyrrha doesn't attract their attention." Sun said.

Pyrrha looked ahead to an office just near her. "That office... might be something inside that connects this to Taurus... need to get back there." Pyrrha said as she started to get nearer, hiding behind some barrels.

Suddenly, the sound of crashing could be heard as one of the Bikers near her moved from his spot to investigate. "Huh? What was that? What dumbass can't put their shit away?" The Biker exclaims in annoyance. "Bet it was Happy..."

"Hmm, that might work to her advantage." Blake muttered to herself.

Pyrrha moved closer up as she got the idea to cause another distraction to create an opening. She pushed a crate full of tools onto the ground, causing the biker to to turn his head and move to where the disturbance was, giving Pyrrha an opportunity to to move closer towards the office.

"Very smart, Miss Nikos." Glynda complimented.

"Indeed." Ozpin said in agreement.

She got close enough to overhear a nearby conversation office.

"Adam Taurus is really paying the boss?" One Biker asked.

"Yeah. We build this war beast for Taurus; Taurus finances the boss' new venture. Win win." The other said.

"Need to get into that office..." Pyrrha mutters to herself. As she continued to carefully navigate herself through the room, she noticed that large vehicle engine parts and other material were being made into something. "What are they building? Is this all for Taurus?" Pyrrha pondered as she continued to remain out of sight.

"What is it they're building?" Ruby asked.

"Nothing good." Sun said.

"With the materials they're gathering, it must be a means of transporting more Demons around." Ren theorized.

Pyrrha continued to make her way through the room, pulling off the same trick as she did before on another goon, distracting him as she sneaked past him. "Easy does it..." Pyrrha mused, walking by very large tires. "What kind of vehicle needs tires this big?" Pyrrha asked herself as she walked past them. She found that there were a lot more guys than she expected close by. Luckily for the red head, there was a nearby generator she could use to distract the Bikers.

"They look almost military." Weiss observed.

"Yeah, do you think they could be stealing from Sable?" Yang asked.

"Maybe." Blake said. "But I doubt she would let stuff like this go unnoticed."

After carefully sneaking past the bikers, she moved towards the generator, turning it on and making a sound that caused the biker in front of her to turn and investigate while she quickly moved where she was and made her way towards a large vehicle in construction where the Biker was.

"What is this? Some kind of military hardware?" Pyrrha wondered as she looked ahead to see the office from before. "There's the office...need to move careful through here..." Pyrrha said quietly as she slowly moved past the Bikers who either didn't notice her or were too distracted with their work.

She moved past a couple of barrels with the word Alchemax on them, piping Pyrrha's curiosity. "Those barrels seem important..." Pyrrha mused as she moved towards them to investigate. "What's in these?"

She then overheard a conversation near her, causing her to look up.

"Boss come on – Taurus'll never notice..." A Biker seemingly pleaded, before being suddenly tossed out through the window and into the room and his gun slid away from him.

"Woah!" Sun exclaimed.

"He must've pissed off his boss real bad." Qrow said.

Walking out of the room was a large, muscled man clad in a biker outfit. But what was most notable about him was his albino skin, red eyes and sharp teeth. This man had a fearsome reputation, one Pyrrha knew too well.

"Banesaw." Pyrrha gasped quietly.

Weiss' eyes widened at the sight of the man she fought with on the train a while ago. "Him again?" Weiss said in surprise.

Winter turned to her sister with a curious look. "You know him?" Winter asked.

"Um, in a sense." Weiss sheepishly admitted. Not wanting to let slip that she had lost a fight against Banesaw.

"So I gather he must be the one in charge of this operation." Ironwood observed.

"It would seem so." Tai said.

Blake and Ilia looked at Banesaw and noticed he looked considerably different than in their world.

"You're right, Rick- won't notice cause it won't be there." Banesaw snarls as he grabs Rick by the shoulder as he groans in pain and slams him back onto the ground.

Rick quickly crawled over to his gun. "God dammit. I said I'll fix it!" Rick angrily exclaims as he aimed his gun at Banesaw. Banesaw just grabbed the gun in Rick's hand, crushing it as Rick yelled out in pain.

The audience winced in response at the henchman's hand being crushed like that.

"You got some stones, Rick." Banesaw chuckled as he directed the gun right at his own forehead. Let's see if they break."

"What the heck is he doing?" Sun exclaims. "Is he crazy!?"

"By all accounts, yeah." Coco said.

Seeing no other option out of this, Rick fired the gun, causing Pyrrha to gasp in shock. A bullet fell to the ground, dented as Banesaw stood, unharmed as Rick fell to the ground.

"It...did nothing to him." Terra gasped.

"He's like he's invincible or something." Nora said, still shocked over what she saw.

"Technically, he is." View said, gaining the attention of the audience. "In this universe, Banesaw's skin is highly durable, almost nothing can hurt him."

"Well, that's a bitch if I ever heard one." Qrow remarked.

"Such a disappointment." Banesaw shook his head as he beat Rick with his own gun. Then to finish it off, landed a powerful stomp to the head as Pyrrha looked away in horror.

The Audience winced and flinched at the death of the man, even Saphron shielding her son's eyes once more to avoid the sight of the man's death.

"Damn..." Qrow said as he shook his head. "That was brutal."

Banesaw crushes the gun like it was paper and tossed it aside. "And now I need a new welder." Banesaw mutters as he goes to fix a bike while his men move the body.

Getting a hold of herself, Pyrrha then moved towards the office. Can't turn back now... need to get into that office." She thought as she managed to slip by Banesaw and his men and entered the office. "Made it..." Pyrrha whispered as she noticed Blueprints on a nearby table. She used her camera to take a photo of it. "Blueprints... APC. This is what they're building for Taurus. But why does he need an armored vehicle?" Pyrrha wondered to herself.

"Whatever it is, I can't imagine people won't get caught in the crossfire." Ren said.

"At least she found something on him." Nora said.

Pyrrha then moved towards the desk in search of more evidence. She saw some small, blinking objects and picked them up. "GPS trackers... what is Banesaw using these for?"

"Alright boys!" Banesaw's voice called out to the rest of his men. "Time to move. Get the gear from my office."

"Time to go." Pyrrha said as she headed towards the exit and out of the biker shop.

"Good thing too." Velvet breathed a sigh of relief.

The screen changed back to Jaune and Pyrrha in the apartment as Jaune was working on the food while Pyrrha was looking over at her laptop.

"Okay... I want to say don't ever do that again, but since I know you're going to anyway, here..." Jaune said as he tosses her one of his Web-Bombs, which she catches. "Take a few of those next time."

"Nice." Pyrrha said, impressed as she looked up to Jaune. "Thanks."

"You know Banesaw is crazy and pretty much invincible, right?" Jaune asked rhetorically.

"Empathizes the crazy especially." Coco said after seeing what she just saw.

"Everybody has their weakness." Pyrrha said as she turned back to her laptop. "Mine is... whatever you're cooking right now." Pyrrha said as she turned to Jaune, smiling. "Smells amazing."

"The chicken curry. Uh, Just needs to simmer." Jaune said.

"No dumplings, I hope." Pyrrha said as Jaune gave her an incredulous look and walked over to her.

"You are never go on to let me live that one down, are you?" Jaune asked.

"Nope." Pyrrha shook her head before laughing.

"The "great dumpling catastrophe." Jaune recalled as he sat down next to Pyrrha.

"I still can't believe they evacuated the entire building." Pyrrha said as she got herself a drink.

Weiss sighed. "Who could be foolish enough to cause a fire like that?" Weiss asked until she noticed Ruby's pointed stare.

"Maybe we should ask your cake butler?" Ruby asked with a slightly annoyed look, causing Weiss to pout and turn away from her partner.

"I know and in January, too. Your neighbors hated me." Jaune said, putting emphasis on the word.

Pyrrha nodded. "Yeah. They were...pretty happy when we broke up." Pyrrha said, leaving an air of awkwardness in the room.

"Oof, way to kill the mood." Qrow said.

Pyrrha groaned as she placed her hands to her face. "Why did you have to bring that up? It was going so well."

"There's still a chance." Nora said in an optimistic tone.

"Yeah..." Jaune said, sounding both sad and disappointed.

Pyrrha notices this and quickly changes the subject. "So, Let's talk about what you found in Taurus's office." Pyrrha said as she placed her drink down and went back to her laptop.

"Well. Taurus clearly has issues with Jacques Schnee." Jaune said as he looked over the file he grabbed.

"Yeah, but... but why?" Pyrrha pondered.

Jaune sighed. "I don't know yet. But his next move looks like it involves Devil's Breath. Whatever that is."

"Hopefully, Jaune and Pyrrha can stop whatever it is." Ruby said.

"They still need to find him first." Weiss reminded her partner.

"Yeah." Pyrrha said as she looked over the file with Jaune. "I'll dig into it." Pyrrha said as she went back to work, but not before an idea formed in her head. "So I was thinking... what if we teamed up?"

Jaune gave her a confused look "You want to be my sidekick? Like, uh... Spider-girl?" Jaune asked as Pyrrha gave him a look. "Spider-Woman..." Jaune corrected himself.

"I mean, she would need to get bit by a spider first." Sun said

"And if she did, she would need a way better name than those." Coco added.

"She can help out even without powers." Ruby said in support of her friend.

"No..." Pyrrha said.

"Woman."

"Not a sidekick... a partner." Pyrrha clarified.

"Oh..." Jaune said in realization as the pair stared at each other for a moment.

"it wouldn't help if he had more friends helping him, like with Blake." Penny said in support.

"Besides, it's not like there's already a Spider-Woman or Girl." Qrow said.

"You'd be surprised." View said.

Pyrrha thought about this. At least if she and Jaune would be able to solve this a lot quicker, with her supplying info now and then. Plus, it wouldn't hurt if it could help them grow closer.

The sounds of hissing could be heard from the kitchen as Jaune bolted up from the couch. "Not again!" Jaune said frantically.

Pyrrha chuckled to herself as she looked over at the laptop before noticing Jaune's phone going off. "Hey it's your crime system thingie. Looks like a residential break-in." Pyrrha said as she threw his phone in the air and Jaune grabbed it with a web line and looked over the phone.

"Charles Standish." Jaune read out loud.

Hmm. That sounds familiar." Pyrrha hummed to herself before it came to her. "Oh. Schneecorp's CFO! Wait... you don't think this has anything to do with Taurus, do you-" Pyrrha was about to ask as she turned to Jaune, only to find him in his Spider-Man outfit about to go out the window.

"Well, this is awkward." Tai whistled.

"Eh, been there." Qrow shrugged. "But 'know, wearing less than.

"Okay, Uncle Qrow! We don't need to hear it!" Yang cried out as Ruby placed her hands over her ears.

Jaune's eye lenses widen when he is caught. "Sorry to cook and run..." Jaune apologized.

Instead of her being bothered by him leaving, she was bothered by something else. "Did-did you just leave your clothes on the kitchen floor?"

"So, like, did he bring the suit with him or did he already have one at Pyrrha's place?" Sun asked.

"My question is that was he wearing that under his regular clothes, or did he strip down and-" Coco was about to finish.

"Alright, that's quite enough." Glynda said before the conversation could continue any further.

This made Pyrrha, Velvet and Yang blush at the thought Coco was about to reach.

Jaune looked at the kitchen before looking back at Pyrrha. "Uh..." Jaune said awkwardly before backtracking into the kitchen to grab his clothes. He came back into the room holding his clothes in a pile. "Where do you want me to, uh..."

"Just...the couch is fine." Pyrrha said as Jaune placed his clothes down on it.

"See you later?"

Pyrrha nodded and smiled. "Yeah." Pyrrha said as Jaune gave a nod towards her as he leaped out of the window and into the streets.

The screen changed to Spider-Man, currently swinging his way to where Standish was. On the way, he decided to call Pyrrha. "Hey, it's me." Jaune called.

"This curry is legit." Pyrrha complimented.

"So what do we know about Charles Standish?" Jaune asked.

"Let's see—" Pyrrha said as she looked through the information. "Chief Financial Officer at Oscorp. Single. Known for his art collection."

"Doesn't exactly sound like a high target." Yang said.

"But considering it's related to Devil's Breath, I would think so." Ironwood said.

"If Taurus's after him, it's got to be related to Devil's Breath." Spidey theorized.

"I'll run a search on everything in that file." Pyrrha said.

"Let me know the second you find something. I think Taurus might be planning something even worse than City Hall." Jaune said with worry in his tone.

"So are we partners now? Cuz it sure feels like we are." Pyrrha asks, hoping that was indeed the case for them.

"Partners. Sounds good." Jaune said, even though he didn't sound too sure of it himself.

"It doesn't sound like he's too happy about the idea." Ghira said.

"What?" Nora exclaims. "Jaune and Pyrrha are like the best pair, well apart from me and Renny!" Nora said as she latched onto his arm.

"My guess is that he might be worried about her getting caught in the crossfire." Blake suggested.

"She's managed herself fine back at the biker shop" Weiss said.

"Yes, but Taurus and his people aren't on the same level as those men are." Glynda pointed out. "They have powers that could cause wide damage."

Ozpin nodded in agreement. "Indeed, most likely, Mr. Arc is worried about her safety."

"Okay! See ya, Partner!" Pyrrha said in an excited tone as the call line went off.

Spider-Man let out a sigh as he continued to swing where Standish was located. When he made his way there, he found the police currently in a shootout with the Demons.

"Police look like they could use some help." Spidey observed. He swung himself over to a lamp post that was behind the Demons, who didn't even notice him as they were too preoccupied with the cops. This gave Spidey an ample opportunity to web line from the Demons and sling him up to where he was, webbing him to the pole.

The Demons snapped up and finally noticed the wall-crawler, all of them pointing their guns at him in response. Spider-Man leaped off the lamppost and went down hard at the Demons, striking one across the face and webbing another one up before he could fire at him. Then for extra measure, he fired two web lines at the cocooned Demon, spun him around and tossed him towards the remaining Demons.

"Pretty impressive stuff as always." Tai complimented.

"Now to find this Standish guy," Yang said.

"Hopefully, the Demons haven't gotten to him yet." Blake said with a hint of worry.

"Friggin' terrorists." One of the Officers said. "Thanks for the assist, Spider-Man."

"Someone radio dispatch; we need a wagon." His partner said.

"There's probably more of them inside. You guys stay here." Spider-Man instructed as he moved over towards the entrance to the parking lot and lifted open the door to get inside.

Once inside, he noticed a busted open gateway right in front of him. "Somebody was in a hurry..." Spider-Man commented as he walked through the gateway. He looked ahead to see two cars crashed into each other and an injured man there as well.

"Spider-Man!" The man called out as Spider-Man came over to him to help.

"You're hurt..." Spidey observed.

"I'm okay, but you gotta find Mr. Standish, fast." The man said urgently. "Those guys in the masks kidnapped him and forced him up to his place he lives in the penthouse. Top floor." The security guard as just then, Demons came swarming in after Spider-Man.

"Well, at least Jaune's gonna get a warm up." Yang grinned.

"Yeah!" Nora cheers in agreement. "These guys don't stand a chance."

"Okay, sit tight." Spider-Man said as he stood up before the Demons, ready to fight.

"Take him down!" One of the Demons ordered as one of them held a powered sickle charged at him, prompting Spider-Man to duck under it and kick him to the ground.

"Nice moves." Ruby smiled.

"So glad you're here. I can't find my car—" Spider-Man quipped while jumping over a Demon that attempted to hit him. "Could have SWORN I parked on this level." Spidey said as he began going on the offensive. Moving too fast for the Demons to keep up with as Spidey began taking each of their members, one by one, either by launching them up in the air and bringing them back down or just quickly trapping them to the floor with his webbing.

But just as Spider-Man was just finishing up with them, more Demons suddenly came charging at the Web-Head out from a nearby elevator.

"Man, these guys don't just let up." Tai said.

"The more for Jaune to take down then." Coco grinned.

"Wait, you guys work here too? This building is SERIOUS about parking enforcement." Spider-Man remarked while casually dodging a negative energy wave that just passed him. He fired a web line onto a Demon holding a shield and swung it around and tossed it towards a group of Demons, leaving only a few left as Spidey quickly took care of them.

"Very good." Ozpin complimented.

"As usual, Jaune has managed to take them down." Glynda complimented.

"All there is left to do is to find Standish." Ironwood said.

"Good fight. A for effort." Spider-Man commented. He then made his way towards where the Demons came from. "Elevator won't work, they know I'm here." Spidey mused as he thought for an alternative way up.

An idea then formed in his head. "But maybe I can sneak up through the elevator shaft." Spidey said as he then forced the doors open. "Should be able to make it up to the penthouse from here." Spidey said to himself as he began crawling his way up to the top.

"Smart move." Tai commented. "At least the ones up top won't know he's coming."

He would have to deal with the occasional guard standing by one of the entrances. But managed to make it through a nearby hatch, going through a nearby vent that led him through another elevator shaft.

"Okay, almost there..." Spidey said to himself as he kept crawling his way up, avoiding the searchlights from Demons and some elevators passing down near him. He eventually made his way up to the top of the shaft room, entering through another vent that led through to a nearby entrance that Jaune used.

He found himself inside of a lavish room that was currently being patrolled by Demons. He looked up to see an office where a man was being guarded by more Demons.

"There's Standish." Spidey observed.

Inside of the office, Standish was being pushed to do something by the Demons. "Okay. Now what?" Standish asked, afraid.

"Enter your password." The Demon demanded as Standish began doing so.

"Looks like Jaune better hurry before they kill him." Winter said.

"Considering what they did at City Hall, it wouldn't be out of character for them." Weiss said.

Spider-Man knew as soon as they got what they needed, they would kill Standish. He needed to get to him and fast. But first, he needed to deal with the Demons in the room. He went for the stealthy approach, starting with getting a Demon from right under him and webbing him up towards him.

Spider-Man went after the rest of the Demons in the room, taking them out by slinging them up in the air and webbing them to the ceiling or to the railings, without any of them noticing that he was even there.

The two Demons in office noticed the lack of men outside and decided to investigate what was going on. But as soon as they exited the room, they were quickly taken down by Spider-Man, with one hanging from the ceiling and the other webbed to the floor.

"And that takes care of that." Velvet breathed a sigh of relief at all the Demons being taken down.

"Now all there's left to do is get to Standish before anymore show up." Ren said.

"And hopefully, they haven't found out what they need to know about Devil's Breath." Pyrrha added.

"Okay, all clear. Hope Standish is alright." Spidey said as he went towards the doors and began opening them up. But before he could open all the way, a single Demon came out of the elevator, carrying a sword with him.

"Geez, how many weapons are these guys gonna use next." Yang exclaims.

He came charging at Spider-Man, sending an energy wave at him, to which Spider-Man promptly dodged out of the way of. He moved with flow as the Demon continued sending wave after wave towards Spider-Man. He fired a single web line at the Demon and launched himself towards him. And when he got close enough, he slid right under him, appearing from behind and knocking him down on the ground, webbing him up.

"At least that's the end of that." Ruby said.

Blake sighed. "Let's just hope there's no more surprises after this."

"I wouldn't bet on that, considering Jaune's luck at this point." Coco said.

Jaune sighed under his mask in annoyance. "Let's try this again..." Jaune said as he went to the doors and began opening them. "It's safe now." Spidey assured as Charles scrambled to get up from the ground. "What were they after?"

"Just— financial records." Standish said.

"Yeah, I bet." Qrow scoffed.

"About Devil's Breath?" Spider-Man knowingly asked.

"How do you know about that?" Standish asked, shocked that he knew about that.

"Because he's Spider-Man." Nora said in a gravelly tone.

"Eh, doesn't work with that voice." Sun said.

"Why do they want it?" Spider-Man asked.

"I don't even know what it is. Mr. Schnee's been pouring money into it for years, but he keeps the whole project a secret." Standish informs. "I'm the only one who has any record of it."

"Not anymore." Spider-Man said with a serious tone, looking towards the laptop. "Looks like they copied some records to a secure server payroll information..." Spider-Man said until he found a peculiar name on it. "On a Doctor Isaac Delaney. Who is he?"

"I honestly don't know..." Standish said. But all of a sudden, a helicopter was suddenly right near the windows as Jaune's Spider Sense went flaring up.

"Oh crap!" Yang exclaimed at the helicopter suddenly appearing.

"Looks like it's not over yet." Ren said.

"That much is clear, kid!" Qrow said.

"Down!" Spider-Man yelled out as he pushed Standish to the ground as the helicopter began firing at him. Spider-Man was leaping out of the way of the bullets. He managed to help Standish off the ground as he ran while Spidey was right behind him.

Standish managed to make it to the elevator as he desperately kept pushing the button. "C'mon, c'mon!" Standish pleaded for the doors to open.

"I wouldn't do that!" Ruby tried to warn.

"WAIT, the elevator's—" Spider-Man tried to warn while running up to him.

But as soon as the doors opened, it revealed to be an empty space with fire all around. But he could move back, an explosion occurs, causing Charles to fall down the shaft with Spider-Man following him. He screams in fear as Spider-Man tries to follow after him.

"Well this has definitely gotten from bad to worse!" Coco exclaims.

"It's okay," Pyrrha assured. "Jaune can still save him."

"If he can reach him in time." Ilia said.

"He will!" Nora said in support. "Jaune will save him in time."

"Hopefully so." Terra said.

"Hold on!" Spider-Man calls out as he dives in close to him, webbing away nearby debris in his path. "Almost got him!" Spider-Man said as he was nearing him. "Try to fall slower!"

"Not how gravity works." Qrow said.

"Well actually..." Penny was about to explain.

"Maybe later, Penny." Ruby interrupted gently.

Just when he got close enough to him, Spider-Man fired a web line onto Standish, bringing him to him. "Gotcha!" Spider-Man said in success as he fired a web line onto a nearby surface, stopping their face. "You okay?" Spider-Man asked.

Most of the audience let out a huge sigh of relief as soon as Jaune saved Standish.

"Yeah— I think so." Standish breathed out.

"Good. Good." Spidey said as he looked up at the area around them. "You know, as elevator shafts go, this is pretty nice." Spidey commented as a piece of debris fell near them. "Heh." He chuckled, hoping to ease some of the tension.

"Well that's one way to lift your spirits!" Yang remarked with a wide grin.

"Please don't make it worse," Blake pleaded.

In the aftermath, Spider-Man was currently perched over on a nearby building, watching as Sable Agents secure the area.

He called Blake to let her know what happened. "Hey Blake."

"You okay?" Blake asked on the other line.

"Yeah, but I didn't get much out of Standish before these Sable guys stepped in and told me to back off." Spider-Man said, annoyed as he watched Standish talk with some Sable Agents. "What's the deal?"

"I get the sense all they care about is keeping him quiet." Blake guessed.

"Because he knows about Devil's Breath." Spider-Man said.

"Wouldn't it be more beneficial if the Sable Forces and Jaune teamed up?" Penny asked. "They would be able to get a lot more done."

"If I had to guess, I would say that Fa-I mean Jacques, doesn't want Mr. Arc to get involved and wants to keep it under wraps." Winter theorized.

"Especially if it makes him look bad." Ironwood added.

"Right." Blake said in agreement. "Whatever the hell that is."

"I'm working on that. I think I just got a lead." Spider-Man said

This impressed Blake. "A lead? You sound just like a cop."

Jaune grinned under his mask. "Don't you mean...Spider-Cop?" Spidey said, putting on his cop voice.

The call then turned off.

"Pfft, Spider-Cop doesn't get enough respect." Nora pouted.

"Blake?" Jaune called out. "That's fair..." Jaune muttered as he jumped off the building he was on and began web swinging. B just then, he got a call from Pyrrha.

"Jaune! What happened with Standish?" Pyrrha asked.

"He's safe." Jaune informed while leaping over a building.

Pyrrha let out a sigh of relief. "Okay, good. And the Demons?"

"They were looking for a name. You got a pen?" Jaune asked.

"Yeah, go." Pyrrha said, ready to take it down.

"Dr. Isaac Delaney."

"I'm on it. Just give me a few minutes and I'll let you know what I find on Dr. Delaney." Pyrrha said as the call went off. Jaune sighed as he looked over his city. In the meantime, he can just stop any crimes that the Demons might be up to in the meantime while he waits on Pyrrha for info.

"Well, that was a hell of a viewing." Coco said.

"I'll say." Sun said in agreement.

"We at least got some info on the Demons." Ren said.

"And we got to see Jaune and Pyrrha's date~" Nora chimed.

"I thought it was lovely." Saphron smiled.

"Yes, I did too." Pyrrha said calmly, though internally, she was gushing madly.

"Well just hope that Mr. Arc and Miss Nikos will be able to find this Dr. Delaney before Taurus does." Ozpin said as the rest of the audience agreed with him.

Thanks for reading this chapter of Worlds of Arc

Welcome to the new year everyone! Happy 2023 to all of you. Hopefully, it'll be a good one. I am glad I was able to do this chapter. I was taking a break in both December and January. I found doing this chapter a lot quicker than expected when I got back to writing. Hopefully, I can get this story finished sometime this year.

Also, regarding Banesaw/Tombstone, I hope you liked the cast idea. I was originally thinking of using Hazel, but I think he'd be better as Rhino instead. And as I stated before, I'm not covering the side quests, only the main story. I was actually thinking about removing that part entirely, but it does connect to the main story, so I decided to leave it in. But I'm still not doing the side quest.

Next chapter will continue on with the Spider-Man storyline as Jaune goes to a party while Pyrrha does her own investigating, though not without some hiccups. Thanks and see you around!
