"So View, what do we got for the next world?" Yang asked, eager in anticipation to see what was next for them.
"This one will be another familiar one, Miss Xiao Long." View said while holding up a green orb. "We will be revisiting the world where Jaune poses the Omnitrix."
"You mean that watch that lets him turn into aliens?" Ruby asked with an excited look on her face.
View nodded in response. "The very same."
Nora grinned as she pumped her fist up in excitement. "Allright!" Nora exclaims. "I love that one."
Her partner nodded in agreement. "It would be interesting to see where Jaune goes further on."
"I'm also quite curious as well." Penny smiled in agreement. "I would like to see any more of possible friend Jaune's alien forms and what their abilities are."
"And to see how kick ass they are!" Yang said with an eager grin.
Blake and Weiss rolled their eyes. "Of course she'd think that."
"Well then, let's get into it." View said as he tossed the orb in as usual and the audience watched the screen light up.
The screen opens with people standing by in the streets as they looked on in horror as the building in front of them was burning.
"Well, this is certainly one way to start!" Tai said, worried for the people in the building.
"Indeed." Ozpin said. "Hopefully, Mr Arc will be already there to save the people in there."
"I'm sure he will!" Ruby said in encouragement for her fellow leader and friend.
Inside of the building, a mother and her child were trying to escape the building when debris from the ceiling blocked their path. The Mother and son backed away as more pieces of debris fell around them as the mother wrapped her arms around her son in an effort to protect him.
"Oh my…" Kali put her hand over her mouth in worry for the mother and her child.
"Here's hoping Jaune's already on this" Sun said as he watched the screen intensely.
A larger piece of the ceiling was about to fall upon them as the mother tried to protect her son by shielding him as they both closed their eyes. But as they waited, nothing came. The boy opens his eyes to extraordinary.
"Who are you?" The boy asks in awe.
Standing over the two, was a man who looked to be made from fire and charcoal, holding a piece of debris over his head. The Pyronite grunts as he looks down at them. "I'm here to help." The fiery man answered in a raspy tone as he tossed the debris aside.
"Nice!" Yang said with a grin, both glad that Jaune saved the mother and child and that he was using Heatblast to do it. "Just in the nick of time!"
Weiss tilted her head in a confused look. "Though I am curious as to why he used his Pyronite form."
"Perhaps he's using it to protect him from being harmed from the heat?" Penny suggested.
"Makes sense." Ren said in agreement. "Now he can get them out of there without hurting himself along the way."
Heatblast extended his hands out as all the fire in the room was being absorbed, much to the amazement of the mother and son as they watched in awe. Heatblast turns around to them and motions to follow. The boy smiles in excitement as he gets up while his mother is still worried but follows to the burning hallway.
"He can absorb the heat!" Pyrrha said in both surprise and pride in Jaune's handling of his alien form's abilities.
"Pretty cool." Ruby smiled.
Yang grinned. "Don't you mean, pretty hot?" Yang asked, prompting her sister to groan and hang her head down.
"Good work so far." Ironwood complimented.
"Now let's hope he can lead them out of the building before it potentially collapses." Glynda said.
"This way!" Heatblast said as he looked to the stairs near him which immediately collapsed. "Er, on second thought..." Heatblast said as he looked towards a nearby window. "That way." Heatblast said as he shot a hole around the window.
"Unless he can fly, I don't see how he can get them down safely." Ghira said.
Qrow shrugged. "Kid might've put some practice in his aliens since we last saw him."
A part of the wall dropping to the ground as a tornado of fire exits through the hole and lands on the ground as people watched in awe as the fire dissipated and Heatblast was standing the mother and son safe.
"Cool!" Ruby and Nora said in awe.
"Hmm, It seems you were right in your assumption, Qrow." Ozpin said as Qrow gave a slightly smug smirk.
"I do wish I can learn more about his and the other nine alien's abilities." Penny said with great interest.
"They would prove to me a valuable asset." Ironwood said in agreement.
Heatblast then addressed the crowd calmly. "I'm sure you all want to thank me personally, but really it's all in a day's work for- ''Heatblast spoke in a dignified manner until he noticed something in the boy's hands. "No way! A gold Sumo Slammer Card!" Heatblast gasped as he kneeled down next to him. "Where'd you get it? I've been looking all over for that!"
Pyrrha couldn't help but giggle at the sight of Jaune acting like a child. She, like many others, had temporarily forgotten that he was still ten years old under that alien form of his.
"Man, it's one weird thing to see a guy made out of fire save you, then another when he acts like a kid." Coco smirked.
Velvet giggled. "I think it's kinda cute."
The Young Boy was taken aback how his savour was acting. "I-It was a prize inside a box of "Sumo-Smack Cereal."
Suddenly, the sounds of honking drew his attention to the side to see his grandpa and cousin in The Rust Bucket. "Yo, Super-Doofus! The fire was just a diversion to cover up a jewelry store robbery. The bad guys are getting away!"
Heatblast looks from Gwen to the cards, and back to Gwen. "Er- I knew that."
Yang smirked. "Sure you did, Jaune."
The screen fades to a street where people were going by their day, until they stopped once they heard a car speeding towards them, a car containing the criminals sped past them. The driver smirks, believing he managed to get away with this until he noticed an RV van following them, much to his confusion.
Sterling held a look of concentration on him, until he sniffs the air and smells something burning. He then looks to the Pyronite sitting next to him, who is currently burning his seat.
"Knew I should've bought those asbestos seat covers when I had the chance." Sterling lamented.
Tai sighs in understanding. "I know that feeling, bud. Back when Yang was still trying to control her semblance, she burned through most of the seats.
Yang groans at the memory while Ruby snickers at her sister, prompting Yang to snap at Ruby with a suspicious look while she looks away, whistling innocently.
"Sorry Grandpa, I can't help it. I'm hot..." Heatblast says, only to be met with foam to the face by that put out his fire, only for it to quickly reignite as he glares at his cousin.
"Ha!" Yang laughed at the pun. "Nice!"
"I really hope Jaune doesn't start doing puns in our world." Weiss mutters, Blake and Ruby nodding in agreement.
"Not if I have anything to say about it." Pyrrha mutters quietly as she gives a suspicious glance at Yang.
"Ugh. Ten superheroes on that stupid watch and you picked the one with the flaming butt?!" Cyana said in an annoyed tone.
"Jealous?" Heatblast smirks, prompting Cyana to huff and douse him again as Heatblast dodged it that time.
"Man, they sure do act more like siblings than cousins." Sun remarked. "Kinda like me and my team from time to time."
The Robbers made a sharp turn as the RV continued to chase after them. As they neared closer to it, Heatblast leaned out the side window and proceeded to shoot a ball of fire at the car, managing to get a hit which caused the car to briefly fly up as most of its parts flew off.
"Nice shot!" Nora cheered on.
"Quite." Ren smiled and nodded. "But I'm hoping it wasn't too powerful as to send serious injuries to them."
"Hopefully, this version of Jaune has some level of self restraint." Blake said.
"The last time Jaune used this form, he caused a forest fire." Weiss reminded.
"He put it out!" Nora said in defense.
Heatblast grins. "Stee-rike!" Heatblast cries out in success.
The car landed hard back onto the ground as the driver screamed as he was driving straight towards a wall, crashing right into, further wrecking the car. The Robber rubbed his head in pain as Heatblast came up to the car and ripped the door off the driver's side as he looked up in shock.
"Unless you punks want a permanent sunburn," Heatblast says as he starts bending the door with his bare hands. "HANDS AGAINST THE WALL!"
"Well that's one way to motivate them." Qrow said. "Can't say I don't approve."
The robbers look at each other and walk out the car, doing as he says. As soon as they put their hands against the wall, the sounds of the Omnitrix's timer began setting off and the symbol began flashing red.
"Oh no…" Saphron mutters in worry.
"Probably not the best time for that to happen." Terra said.
"I hope that doesn't become a recurring thing." Ruby said, worried for Jaune and what the robbers might do to him.
"It will." View admits.
"You punks picked the wrong day to be bad-" Heatblast says as a red flash of light occurs. "-guys!" The voice finished, turning from a raspy one to one sounding like a young boy. The Robber was confused by the sudden change as he and his partner turned to see a smirking young boy standing where Heatblast once was.
"Oh boy…" Sun mutters.
"Hopefully, they won't hurt him as he's just a child." Kali hoped.
"I wouldn't bet on that." Ilia said with doubt. "They were willing to set fire to a building with people still in it.
"Hey, it's just a kid! Get the jewels!" the Robber told his partner as Jaune's eyes widened in shock until he realized that he had transformed back to human and that the watch was timed out.
"Well, at least they're not willing to hurt him." Saphron breathed out a sigh of relief.
"Probably only interested in the money." Tai said. "And don't want the heat."
"Okay, that was on purpose." grow said, giving an annoyed glare towards Tai, who simply smirked at his reaction.
"Wow. Time sure flies when you're having fun!" Jaune nervously says. "I-I've decided to let you guys off with a warning this time!" Jaune says as he waves to them and is about to walk away, until police cars arrive, surrounding the robbers.
A Police Officer got out of his car and pointed his gun at the robbers. "Freeze!"
"At least they're not getting away with their crime." Ironwood said, nodding in approval.
"Fearless Leader softened them up for them." Nora said.
"I doubt they'd believe like that, Miss Valkyrie." Ozpin said.
"They're all yours, officers!" Jaune says as the robbers held their hands behind their heads as the police came in to cuff them. "Now I know y'all want to thank me, but..."
"Step aside, son! This isn't playtime!" The officer sternly said.
"Playtime?" Jaune repeated in annoyance as Sterling and Cyana entered the scene. "I'm the one who captured them! It's not fair! I'm the hero!" Jaune cries out as the police ignore him to take the robbers in. "Oh, man..." Jaune groans.
"Aw!" Nora pouted as she crossed her arms. "Jaune should've at least gotten credit for that."
"I doubt the police would believe him," Pyrrha said as she placed a hand on her shoulder. "Nor do I think that Sterling would allow him to show his aliens to them."
"But still, it kinda seems unfair that Jaune didn't get anything for stopping those guys." Yang said.
"Being a hero, or in our cases, a huntsman, isn't about fame, glory or even credit," Glynda said. "It's about protecting others from harm."
Ozpin nodded in agreement. "Indeed. It is our duty to protect those, even if credit isn't due."
The screen changes to the next day, where a man was currently knocking at someone's door. "Yo! Merlot! I know you're in there. Open up!" The man angrily demanded, but no one answered.
The name caused everyone's eyes to widen in shock.
"Wait, Merlot?!" Blake exclaimed.
Yang groaned in annoyance. "Ah! I thought we were done with that whack job!"
"Apparently not." Winter said with a glare, remembering how that lunatic threatened to hurt her alternative nephew.
"I swear, he better not be as insane as the last version we saw." Weiss said, placing a hand on her forehead.
"Something tells me it might not be the case." Ren said.
He opens the door and comes inside the building. He walked past several animals in containers, snarling and hissing at him as he looked quite disturbed. "Phew! Smells like a zoo in here!" The man says, not noticing a figure silently follows behind him.
"Oh boy…." Ilia mutters.
"This doesn't bode well, knowing Merlot like we do now." Ghira said.
"It's almost like a horror movie, being in there." Ruby shivers.
The man looks over one of the displays with a frog hopping inside of it. He suddenly felt a presence behind him, causing him to turn and yell out in shock at the sudden presence.
"Oh boy, it's just like those horror films me and the boys watch back at home." Sun said to himself.
"How did you get in?!" Merlot angrily demands.
"Through the door?" Yang remarks while still cringing at the sight of the deranged man.
"Pass key." The man answers as he adjusts his tie, still startled. "I am still your landlord, remember? Maybe not, since your rent is six months pass due..." The landlord says, causing Merlot to raise a brow.
His expression turned to one of annoyance. "All my funds go into my research. Now get out! You're disturbing me!" Merlot says as he tends to one of the displays.
"Yeah, after seeing you in the last view, and in this, I think it's the other way around, pal." Coco remarks while pushing up her shades.
The Landlord looks around the room. "Hmm. Looks like you were "disturbed" long before I got here, pal!" He insulted Merlot. "Listen, Doc, you and your furry friends are out on the street, unless you pony up the green."
Merlot turns to the Landlord and smirks. "Pony up"…Interesting choice of phrases..." Merlot said as he picked up a frog from one of the cases. "You must be an animal lover!" Merlot guesses as he places the frog on the floor. "Then you're gonna love this." Merlot said as he was seen sets the frog down and puts on an odd-looking helmet with two horn-like protrusions.
The audience were both confused and worried by this. While the helmet did look ridiculous, they knew it was bound to be something dangerous.
The Landlord stares at Merlot before busting out into laughter. "What's that? You a member of the "moose lodge" or something?"
"I'd probably laugh too, not gonna lie." Yang admits. "But I'd still be worried."
"This is my Transmodulator; phase number one. It creates and accelerates mutations at the genetic level. Observe:" Merlot explains as he twists the dial on his chest, causing beams to shoot out from its horns and to the frog on the ground, mutating it into a gigantic version of itself that towered over the landlord.
"Holy-!" Sun exclaimed in shock before he could finish his words as he and the audience watched in awe at what Merlot just did.
"That…is a big frog." Nora said in shock.
"He's managed to mutate its DNA!" Penny gasped.
"It seems that this version of Merlot is actually competent." Glynda said.
"Yes. And I don't think it bodes well for anyone in this world." Ozpin said in a serious tone.
The Landlord screams as the frog opens its mouth and engulfs him. The frog passively stood there as the Landlord struggled in its throat.
"Good lord!" Kali exclaimed at the sight of the poor man being stuck in the throat of the frog.
"Another universe, but Merlot is still the same psycho." Yang glared at the crazy man on screen.
"I'm sorry! I can't hear you. Sounds like you have a frog in your throat!" Merlot mocked as he began cackling. "Or is that - the other way around?!" He laughs once more as the frog spits out Landlord. He lands against a window and falls to the floor, groaning in pain before passing out.
"At least he's okay." Ruby said, while wincing at what the landlord went through.
"I'm not sure he's gonna be fine for a while, kid." Qrow said. "I know some people wouldn't like to be in a creature's throat like that."
Merlot looks over a piece of paper in his hand. "So close to having what is rightfully mine... All I need is a FEW LOUSY COMPONENTS to finish my work!" Merlot growls in frustration.
His attention was then drawn by a TV in the room. "-So whatever your need, from hair spray to state-of-the-art electronics, you'll find them under one roof at the grand opening of the district's newest MegaMart!"
"Ah! Just what the doctor ordered..." Merlot grins evilly as he knows where to go next.
"That doesn't bode well." Tai sighs.
"Hopefully, Mr Arc can catch onto Merlot and stop him from whatever he may have in mind." Glynda said.
The screen changes to the M-Mart, where Cyana, Sterling, and Jaune were currently walking down some aisles. But something caught Jaune's attention as he turns to see an aisles filled with "Sumo-Smacks"
Jaune walks over and picks up one of the boxes. "Sumo Slammer cards, cool!" Jaune says with excitement as he sees that the box would give a free card. He perks up and grins as an idea forms in his head. "Hmm..."
Saphron sighed at Jaune's expression. "I've seen that look before." Saphron said. "Though usually it was on the twins and not Jaune."
"Well this is a different universe, sweetie." Terra said with Adrien in her arms.
"It also reminds me of Nora." Ren said as he sent a look towards his partner while she giggled.
"So it's a good thing then!" Nora smiled, causing Ren to roll his eyes but still smiled at Nora.
Meanwhile, Sterling was browsing through the selection of items and picked up one of them. "Only canned octopus?" Sterling says in disbelief. "Huh. I thought this store prided itself on wide selection."
"Ew." Ruby said in disgust. "Who would wanna eat that?"
"Someone with extreme and bizarre tastes." Weiss answered.
Blake however looked at the screen with curiosity. "Hmm, it's not fish. But it might do…"
"Uh, Grandpa? No offense, but can we have a normal dinner for once?" Cyana asks. "You know, once that doesn't involve stir-fried tentacles?"
"Heh! Nonsense." Sterling chuckles. "Now where do you suppose they keep the sheep's bladders?" Sterling ponders as he checks the other aisles.
"And here I thought oatmeal cookies were the worst." Ruby said, before thinking about it more. "No, they still are."
As he left, a bright green flash suddenly appeared behind Cyana causing her to flinch as she turned her head with a suspicious look. "Jaune…?" Cyana calls out as she goes to investigate.
"Oh no…" Ren mutters.
Cyana entered the aisle where she last saw Jaune and immediately gasped. All, if not most of the cereal boxes had been completely emptied out, most of which had been left on the floor.
"Whoa!" Yang said in amazement. "He went through those quickly!"
"He must've used XLR8." Pyrrha theorized, while also shocked about the amount of cereal on the floor.
"He went for all that cereal for one piece of plastic!" Weiss says in disbelief.
"I mean, he's still a kid." Velvet said.
"It still doesn't excuse his immature actions." Glynda said with clear disapproval in her tone.
"Heh, reminds me of the time when Ruby was little and nearly emptied out an entire aisle of cookies.
"Dad!" Ruby whined in embarrassment as she hid herself behind her cloak as she blushed while her teammates laughed among themselves.
Cyana looked around for where her cousin might be and found one cereal box shaking back and forth.
"Oh man!" A tiny voice said in annoyance as Cyana picked up the box. "Another red card!" The voice complained as Cyana rummaged through the box for her cousin.
"I guess it's not XLR8." Ozpin mused in some amusement in his tone as he looked at the screen with interest.
"Gotcha!" Cyana said success as she pulled out the small alien. "What are you doing?" Cyana questions the small alien who she knew was her cousin, Jaune.
This alien was Grey Matter, a gray-skinned, frog-like, bipedal being around six inches tall. He was wearing a white jumpsuit with a thin vertical black stripe down the front with the Omnitrix symbol on his back.
"Whoa! That is a small alien." Sun commented.
"It's kinda cute." Ruby admitted.
"So what alien is this?" Ironwood asked in curiosity.
"That alien is known as a Galvan." View informs the audience. "A race of amphibious aliens hailing from the world of Galvan Prime. While not strong physically, they have a heightened state of intelligence to them.
"Hmm, interesting." Ozpin hummed.
"Uh, Looking for the gold Sumo Slammer card, duh." Grey Matter said as if it were obvious, his voice having a higher pitch.
"Still though, don't really see how a small guy like that can do much." Yang said with some doubt.
View chuckled to himself. "Oh, trust me, Miss Xiao Long, one day you'll see." View said, knowing full well what a Galvan can do.
"You're supposed to use your powers to help people, not find some stupid trading card." Cyana scolded as Gray Matter looked bored.
Just then, the Store Manager walked up behind Cyana. "Ahem." The man says, causing Cyana to turn and quickly hide the Galvan from him.
"Well, this is awkward." Sun commented.
"No kidding." Coco said in agreement.
"Just what do you think you were doing, young lady?" The demands asked with a frown.
"It wasn't me! It was my doofus cousin!" Cyana insisted.
"Well someone is gonna have to pay for all this!" The manager said sternly as Cyana's shocked expression turned into a glare.
"Something's telling me that he will soon with that look." Sun commented.
Later, a mountain of cereal boxes was stacked on top of the shopping cart as Sterling looked at it with a raised brow. "So, uh, why are we buying all of this cereal?" Sterling asks.
"Well, we would have only had to buy the one that I found the gold Sumo Slammer card in if Cyana hadn't butted in with her big butt!" Jaune complained.
"Hello? You were trashing the whole cereal aisle just to find some stupid piece of cardboard!" Cyana pointed out.
"Jaune, now I can appreciate how much this card means to you, but don't you think you're getting a little…obsessed?" Sterling says in a gentle but stern tone.
"Yeah, it's kinda like Ruby and her cookies." Yang said as Ruby looked offended.
"Or Nora and her pancakes." Ren added as Nora gave a look of betrayal.
"Mean!" The pair shouted in unison as they pouted at their teammates.
"Maybe you're right, Grandpa. I don't deserve a gold Sumo Slammer card." Jaune said in a tone that was trying to be sincere. "I mean, it's not like I rescued a bunch of people from a burning building or anything like that!" Jaune said in a tone that was clearly sarcastic.
Penny turned to Ruby and whispered. "Was he being sarcastic?"
"Yes, Penny." Ruby said.
"Ooh!" Penny said in realization.
"Superhero guilt?" Cyana said with disapproval. "Pretty low."
Jaune shrugs. "Hey, whatever it takes." Jaune said.
"Hopefully, Jaune will realize the real meaning of being a hero soon." Glynda sighs.
The trio continued going through the different aisles until Jaune noticed a Sumo Slammer card display. "Huh? Yeah!" Jaune says with a grin as he walks over to display while Cyana frowns. "Whoa. Sumo Slammer cards; a complete set!"
Sterling and Cyana watch in slight confusion. "Let's check out the pet department." Sterling says as he heads there.
"Please tell me you aren't looking for our breakfast..." Cyana pleaded as she followed her grandpa, leaving Jaune to keep staring at a display.
"Hopefully, he won't." Terra said, though she wasn't certain it wasn't a possibility for the older Arc.
"Still couldn't be as bad as Ren's protein shakes." Nora muttered.
Ren turned to his partner with a raised brow. "What was that?"
Nora immediately gave Ren an innocent look. "Nothing!"
"Someday you'll be all mine." Jaune says as his eyes narrowed on the golden card.
Suddenly, the entire shops begins to rumble, drawing Jaune out of his gaze as he looks past the cards and walked towards a couple of TV's, which begin to fall from their displays, the sound of people screaming could be heard as Jaune quickly got out of the way of the TV's just as the wall suddenly bursts.
"Oh no…" Yang said. "Something tells me the store is going to have a rowdy customer."
"And I have a good feeling of who it is." Ozpin said as he narrowed his eyes at the screen.
Jaune peaked out of his cover spot and looked up to a shocking sight. "Whoa!" Jaune says in awe as he looks at the sight of the mad man Dr. Merlot riding a giant mutated frog.
"Merlot!" Ironwood glared.
"Jaune can still stop him." Pyrrha said in a hopeful tone.
"Heck yeah!" Nora chimed in with her support. "One blast from Heatblast and this'll be over in no time flat!"
"I doubt it's gonna be that simple, Nora." Blake said.
Merlot sets his sights on the electronics and gets down from the frog as he walks over to them and begins pocketing them into a large bag.
"Hey," Jaune said as he stood up from his spot, gaining Merlot's attention. "What do you think you're doing?" Jaune demands. The Giant frog croaks as it uses its tongue to knock over a couple of stacked boxes right on top of Jaune.
"Oh no!" Saphron says as she instantly grew worried for Jaune.
Jaune managed to get out of the rubble of the boxes as Merlot walked over to him. "Don't be a hero, kid." Merlot said. "Just run along and play."
Jaune glares at Merlot as he looks down at the watch which was still timed out. "You are so lucky I can't go hero."
"Wait, the watch has a timer?" Ruby asks.
"Aw, that sucks!" Nora exclaims.
"I wonder why it would have a time limit." Penny pondered.
"Perhaps there's a downside from overusing transformations." Ren theorized. "Or maybe the Omnitrix needs time to recharge its power."
"It would make sense." Ozpin hummed in agreement. "Whoever designed it probably built multiple failsafes."
Merlot smirks as he heads back to the giant frog, just as two security staff came onto the scene.
"Freeze!" One of the guards called out as Merlot hops back onto the mutant frog.
"Get down off that giant...frog and put your hands up!" The guard ordered, baffled at what he was seeing but still tried to gain control of the situation.
"Yeah, I don't think that's gonna stop him, buddy." Qrow said.
Merlot gives a confident smirk as he hops right over past the guards.
"Uh, we got a grab and dash in electronics." The guard informs over the radio as Jaune watches in shock. "Male, 5 ft 6, riding on a giant…frog or a toad. Trust me, you can't miss him!"
Meanwhile, Sterling and Cyana innocently look around in the pet section. Sterling reviews his list of items while Cyana plays with a hamster. Suddenly, Merlot's frog lands in front of the two, shocking them as they turn to the giant creature.
"Oh no!" Terra says with worry for the two while her son whimpered at the sight of the scary animals.
"He better not hurt either of them!" Saphron growls.
"Something's telling me he's looking to add a few more creatures to his collection." Blake said with narrowed eyes.
Merlot turns the dial and red beams shoot out of his transmodulator and right towards their direction. Acting upon instinct, Sterling pushes him and Cyana out of its way.
"Oh no." Ruby said with worry.
"Guess you were right there, partner." Yang said, not taking her eyes off the screen.
The beam hits and mutates the hamster, causing it to bust out of its cage as Cyana and Sterling watch on in shock. The beam also hit the cockatiel, who also exploded out of its cage.
"Ariiiiise to your full potential, my pets!" Merlot cries out in manic pride.
"He's mutated them!" Penny gasped in shock.
"Now they're not as cute." Velvet said.
"Maybe a little." Nora said, prompting a few confused looks being sent her way.
Jaune runs over to where Merlot was, the giant cockatiel screeching at him as he gasps in shock. He then saw Cyana and Sterling screaming and running away from the hamster who was chasing after them, until it spots Jaune and roars at him.
"Oh, man! What kind of pet food are they selling around here?" Jaune exclaimed in shock.
"Definitely not the approved kind." Sun remarked.
Jaune backs away to Sterling and Cyana as Merlot's animals align next to him.
"Behold the genius of Dr. Merlot. Nothing can stop me from getting what I deserve." Merlot dramatically said. "Mark my words! Today I will make history, or- should I say...prehistory!"
"Oh come on!" Yang exclaimed. "Now he's making bad puns?"
"And it's different from yours?" Weiss says with a raised brow while still keeping a worried look at the screen.
Cyana turns to Jaune "If you didn't go cereal diving, one of those heroes could be saving us from becoming hamster chow." Cyana chastised.
"Yeah, can't argue with that." Blake says in agreement.
"Hopefully, they can manage to avoid them until the watch charges up." Pyrrha said in an optimistic tone.
The three gasp as the hamster roars at them. They screamed as they ran away from the large hamster as it proceeded to give chase. Jaune turned and screamed once he saw it nearing up on Jaune, only for it to leap over Jaune and chase after Sterling and Cyana.
"Oh no." Kali said with worry.
"They're gonna get eaten if the kid doesn't do anything." Qrow said in a serious tone.
"But what can he do?" Tai asked. "The watch is timed out."
"I wouldn't count him out just yet." Ozpin said.
Jaune looked up to see the hamster cornering his family. Jaune looks down at the watch, seeing that it was still timed out. He looks around and spots a scooter nearby. "I don't need to go hero to stop an overgrown fur-ball!" Jaune said with confidence as he walked over to the scooter.
"Yeah!" Nora cheered on for her fearless leader. "Show 'em what you can do, Jaune!"
"How?" Ilia questions. "He's got no fighting skill. And I doubt he can outrun a hamster that size on just a scooter."
The hamster growls at Cyana and Sterling until he was hit in the head with a football at the hamster's head, getting its attention as it turns to Jaune, who was on the scooter. Jaune drives away as the hamster gives chase throughout the store.
"Careful, Jaune…" Pyrrha whispers to herself as she watches her crush's counterpart being chased.
"He's got this, Pyrrha!" Nora said in encouragement.
Ren nodded in agreement. "Indeed. We've seen him take on far more dangerous threats than this."
"But still, he's still a child in this." Pyrrha pointed out.
"I wouldn't sweat it too much about it, champ." Coco said. "From what I saw, Jaune can outrun the giant furball."
The hamster gains on him and takes a leaping bite, causing Jaune to quickly swerve under it as it lands on a knocked-over shelf.
Jaune's eyes widened in shock before narrowing his eyes in determination. He decides to ride up the shelf like a ramp, flying in the air as the hamster tries to bite him in mid air but falls in between two shelves.
"Nice!" Yang pumped her fist up in excitement over Jaune's victory.
Jaune lands on a shelf with the scooter and then back onto the ground, toppling them over on top of the hamster, leaving it trapped there as it snarls and growls in anger.
Ozpin smirks. "Very well done, if I do say so." Ozpin said as he took a sip of his coffee.
"Jaune!" Both Cyana and Sterling called out as they came to where they were, with Sterling smirking with pride at how Jaune handled the hamster.
Jaune unstrapped his helmet "Uh-huh! That's right! Not even giant hamsters can mess with Jaune Arc!" Jaune boasted as Sterling just smirks while Cyana looked unimpressed.
"And I thought Yang could be boastful." Weiss whispered to Blake, who nodded in agreement.
More rumblings could be heard as Jaune turns to see Merlot behind him. "Young fool! You cannot stop me!" Merlot exclaims. "I will turn Washington D.C. into "Washington B.C.!" Merlot says as he jumps off the frog and onto the mutated parrot, who files hum through a sky light in the store, with the frog quickly following him.
"Washington?" Winter repeated.
"Must be the location they're at." Ironwood suggested.
"Either way, no doubt Merlot is going to cause more havoc and chaos." Glynda said.
The Store Manager came up to Jaune with a grateful look. "You saved the store! If there's anything I can do to repay you...anything you want!"
Jaune glances over to the gold Sumo Slammer card and grins. "Well, now that you mention it..." Jaune says as he walks up to the card, only for Sterling to grab and drag Jaune away. "Grandpa?! I was finally gonna score the gold Sumo Slammer card!"
"No time for that now, Jaune." Sterling says as he places him down. "We have a giant parrot to follow." Sterling says as Jaune frowns and Cyana sniggers at Jaune.
"He is right, there are more important things at hand.
"Still, he at least deserves something." Yang said.
"I believe recognition for his good deeds should be enough." Ghira said.
"Ghira's right, sweetie." Tai said in a stern tone.
"I guess…" Yang admits.
Later at night, the Rustbucket was currently following after the screeching parrot with Merlot riding on it. "Ah, just like the good old days, before I retired." Sterling said in a fond tone.
Cyana looked up from her laptop. "So, exactly, what kind of plumber were you, Grandpa?"
"I'm quite curious about that myself." Ozpin said as he looked at Sterling with interest.
"Er- yuh- a darn good one!" Sterling fumbles his words slightly. He then looks to Jaune, who looks quite irritated. "Uh, Jaune, what's the matter?"
"I save an entire Megamart from being a giant hamster's chew toy, and what do I get? Nothing. It's not fair..." Jaune said with irritation.
"Being a hero isn't about others knowing you did something good, it's about you knowing you did something good!" Sterling calmly says to his grandson. "Being a hero is its own reward."
"Exactly." Tai said.
Jaune raised a brow at Sterling. "What? Were you reading the greeting cards at the Megamart?"
"Well, yes." Sterling admits.
"Still valid advice." Glynda said, pushing her glasses up. "While being a Huntsmen is an occupation that people pay for, it shouldn't be forgotten that the main goal of a huntsman is protecting others."
"One that I have full faith in Mr. Arc will learn." Ozpin said.
"Bingo!" Cyana gasped as she got something on her laptop. "Five years ago, Dr. Merlot was a promising researcher in veterinary science. But it turned out he was doing all these twisted genetic experiments where he was mutating animals," Cyana explains with a picture of a younger Merlot on screen.
"So he's on a rampage because he's salty about not winning some award?" Sun said. "Man, talk about petty."
"And when he didn't win some big prize called "The Verities Award", he flipped out." Cyana said as she looked towards Jaune. "Anything about this sound familiar, Jaune?" Cyana asks as Jaune angrily looks out the window.
"To be fair, Jaune's not willing to go on a psychotic rampage like Merlot is." Ren said.
Sterling continued to watch the parrot until it suddenly disappeared by flying between some buildings. "We've lost him. He could be going anywhere in Washington D.C."
"Or "Washington B.C."..." Cyana remarks.
"I feel like that's supposed to be referring to something." Ren ponders.
"Probably something to do with it being in another dimension." Velvet suggested. "Some things might be different from our own."
I do wish that I would have a guide for this sort of thing." Penny said.
View then pulls out a handbook and starts writing. "Note to self, start thinking of gifts for next viewing experience." View mutters to himself.
Jaune gasps as an idea formed in his head. "That's it! I know where he's going!" Jaune said as the screen changed to a museum. "The Natural History Museum!"
Jaune kneeled down in front of a hole in the museum's wall to a feather on the ground.
"Something tells me we're on the right track. Good thinking, Jaune!" Sterling complimented.
"Guess even a doofus can surprise you once in a while." Cyana remarks.
"And you should know!" Jaune shot back as the trio entered inside of the museum.
"At least now they can put a stop at Merlot and whatever he intends to do." Ruby hopefully said.
"Something tells me it won't be that easy." Weiss said as she focused on the screen.
"It never is." Blake said.
"And that's what makes it so fun!" Yang grinned.
As the trio walked through the museum, Jaune noticed a nearby box with the label "M Mart Electronics" on it. And when Jaune looks up from the box, he immediately spots Dr. Merlot next to one of the exhibits, adjusting his technology.
Merlot perks his head up, noticing their presence. "You are very persistent. I HATE persistent." Merlot grows as he turns to them.
"Just like us, right?" Yang said with a smile towards her other teammates.
Ruby smiled and nodded in agreement. "Right. Which was why we beat him before."
"Darn right!" Nora chimed in.
"We all know about you and your 'freakazoid' experiments, Dr. Merlot! It's over!" Jaune proclaimed.
Merlot turns to face the trio. "Oh, but it's only just begun...! See, I only needed a few components to push my work into phase two: the reanimation of dormant cells." Merlot explained.
"Uh, does this guy come with subtitles?" Jaune asked with some confusion in his tone.
Penny gasped "I believe he wishes to reanimate dead cells into life!" Penny said, much to the shock of some of the audience.
"Can he do that?" Weiss said.
"He managed to mutate normal animals into large monsters." Ren said. "With the time he built into his technology, there's a chance he could."
"Breathing life back into that which has been long since lifeless." Merlot says as he approaches one of the exhibits. "Observe!" Merlot says as he turns the dial twice this time. His transmodulator began to shoot beams onto the mammoth next to him as the Arcs watched in shock as red eyes formed in the eyes of the mammoth. The Mammoth let out a roar as it was fully brought to live and began approaching the Arcs.
"My word!" Glynda gasped in shock.
"He really did bring that thing back to life." Tai said in awe and shock.
"There's no telling what kind of creatures and monsters he's able to bring to life." Ironwood said grimly.
"Behold the genius that is Dr. Merlot!" He exclaims before running away and the Mammoth gets closer to them.
"More like insanity." Coco remarks.
Cyana turned to Jaune. "Now would be a really good time to go hero...?"
"No duh." Jaune said. "You guys get Merlot; I'll take care of 'Jumbo'." Jaune says as the watch was already primed and ready as he slams the watch down, a bright green flash of light shining.
Jaune began to transform as the skin on his arm started to bulge and enlarge up to his face, causing him to open his eyes, which had turned yellow. Suddenly, another set of arms shot out from under Jaune's regular ones as the transformation finished to show Jaune had transformed into an enormous red being as he let out a defiant roar.
"Oh hell yeah!" Yang exclaimed in excitement as she watched with eagerness, as did Nora.
"Still, I didn't like seeing the transformation sequence." Weiss said, feeling uneasy having to see Jaune grow another set of arms.
"And what species is this?" Glynda asked with curiosity in her tone.
"A Tetramand." View answered. "A warrior race with enhanced strength and abilities, who also live on a desert-like planet.."
"Nice!" Yang grinned in excitement. "This will be an easy fight for Jaune, no doubt."
"That is if Jaune can properly learn to use his newfound strength." Pyrrha said.
Cyana and Sterling gasp at what Jaune had transformed into as he stood his ground against the mammoth.
"Let's wrestle." The Four-Armed alien said in a raspy voice as he ran toward the mammoth, grabbing it by the trunk and tipping it to the ground.
"Alright, four armed Jaune!" Nora cheered on. "Take that thing down to the ground!"
Sterling and Cyana ran out of the mammoth exhibit and went after Merlot. But when they ran out of the door, they stopped and gasped at the sight of the giant parrot, screeching at them and blocking their way.
"Oh great, bird brain's back." Qrow dryly said.
Cyana backs away from the mutated creature until she notices a spear from one of the exhibits. She grabs it and proceeds to twirl the spear around as she comes towards the parrot, bashing it on its head as it yells out in pain, she lands another hit on it as it screeches and runs away.
"Whoa!" Sun exclaimed in shock.
"Pretty good." Ilia said, impressed.
"Hmm, very impressive form." Winter complimented.
"Jaune's not the only one with skills." Cyana said with a confident smirk as Sterling watched with an impressed look.
"She could make for a good fighter." Blake complimented.
"That isn't even half of what she'll do in the future." View thought.
They entered a new room, where they saw Merlot, glancing back at the two with a grin before shooting beams at a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton as the two watched in shock.
"Here we go again." Blake groans.
"What even is that thing?" Sun said as he titled his head.
"Not sure." Coco said. "Never seen anything like it before."
"Whatever it is, I don't imagine it's anything friendly." Velvet said.
Skin begins to form and wraps around its bones as an eye lights up. The T-Rex takes a step and roars a mighty roar at the two Arcs as they watch in shock and horror.
Meanwhile, the mammoth had thrown Four Arms into a wall. Four Arms looked up to see the mammoth charging towards him. Four Arms gets to his feet and proceeds to run towards the mammoth as well, coming up close enough to punch it in the trunk. The mammoth then lifts Four Arms with its tusks and then launches him high in the air, crashing onto a T-Rex skeleton.
"Come on, Jaune!" Nora encouraged, even though he couldn't hear it. "Don't let that wooly thing bring you down!"
"You are going DOWN, 'Peanuts!" Four Arms growls.
The mammoth charges at Four Arms as soon he gets up. Four Arms grits his teeth and charges at the mammoth, grabbing a hold of its trunk as he begins to spin it around, spinning so fast that the mammoth's legs no longer reach the ground. Eventually, he lets go, letting it fly into a wall and knocking it out.
Ruby winced at what she just saw. "That's not fun. And I've definitely done that.
Weiss raised a bow. "You spun yourself around?"
Ruby gave a sheepish smile "Sometimes."
Weiss sighed. "Why am I not surprised?"
Four Arms groans due to the dizziness he was feeling from the spinning. "Oh, I think I'm gonna hurl…" Four Arms groans before gulping.
"Heh, different universe, same ol Jaune." Yang laughs, feeling a sense of ease from Jaune's normal reaction while in this tense situation.
Back with Sterling and Cyana, they ducked under the tail of the T-Rex as it nearly hit them. They watch as Merlot rides the dino. "I'd love to stay, but I need to claim the award I so richly deserve." Merlot arrogantly said as the T-Rex smashes through the exhibit and into the streets.
"You deserve a good kick to the head, that's for sure." Sun comments.
Suddenly, the screeches of the parrot drew their attention as they turned to see it flying towards them. The parrot swoops down, picking up Cyana as she screams as it flies away with her out of the museum.
"Oh no, Cyana!" Saphron called out in worry as she and the audience watched in shock and fear for the Arc cousin.
Sterling watches as his granddaughter is being taken. "Jaune!" Sterling calls out as Four Arms quickly runs into the room, leaping over Sterling as he begins to make chase after the parrot and Cyana.
"Come on, Jaune!" Ruby encouraged her fellow leader.
"Give that bird a good plucking!" Nora joined in.
As he leaves, Sterling notices something on the ground, a photograph. He picks it up and hums in thought.
"Must be a clue…" Ozpin thought to himself.
Four Arms managed to leap so high in the air enough to grab a hold of the parrot from the back, screeching as it noticed Jaune on its feathers.
"No "bye-bye" for you." Four Arms growls.
The Parrot comes to a halt as it dives down in order to get Jaune off it. As they descended down, the timer of the Omnitrix could be heard as Jaune could no longer hold onto the bird as he lost his grip, causing Four Arms to fall to the ground while the bird flew away with Cyana.
"Oh no…" Pyrrha mutters in fear after hearing the timer go off as she watches with worry as Jaune falls down..
Four Arms smashes onto the ground, creating a large crater as a flash of red light occurs, reverting Jaune back to his regular self. Jaune climbs his way out of the crater as he sees the bird flying away.
"At least Mr. Arc is still okay." Glynda sighed.
"Yeah, can't say the same for the other kid though." Qrow said.
"CYANA!" Jaune yelled out in worry.
As the parrot flies away, the Rustbucket suddenly pulls in next to Jaune, with Sterling at the wheel. "Somebody call for a taxi?" Sterling asks as Jaune enters as the two proceed to chase after the parrot and save Cyana.
Yang grins at the joke. "Nice."
"Now for them to save Cyana." Ren said.
"Hopefully, they can get to her in time." Velvet said.
"And stop Merlot as well." Blake added.
Meanwhile, Cyana herself wasn't exactly having the best of times right now as she bore an unimpressed look and her arms were crossed. "Spend a summer with your grandpa, honey. It'll be an adventure." Cyana copied her mom's words as the parrot flew to Washington D.C.
"Hey, at least it didn't eat you." Sun said. "There's always a positive."
"She's probably not thinking much of those, Sun." Blake said.
"With the level of sass she's got, she could be on par with Weiss." Yang said.
Weiss sent a raised brow at the blonde brawler. "I'll choose to take that as a compliment."
Dr Merlot was currently riding the T-Rex as he stomped through the streets while Civilians ran away in terror as the T-Rex smashed through a nearby building, letting out a mighty roar.
"Ah, I do love my work." Merlot says fondly as a gold Sumo Slammer Card was latched in between the dino's toe.
"Hey, that card got stuck in the dino's foot." Ruby pointed out.
Glynda sighs as she places a hand on her temple. "Why do I have a feeling that the blasted card is going to come back later somehow?"
Back with Cyana, the parrot had landed on the top of the Washington Monument as Cyana was hanging from its mouth.
Cyana looked down to see how far the drop distance was. She suddenly gasped as she formed an idea. She reached into her pocket and grabbed her phone. "Well, my mom said only use in an emergency." Cyana said. "I guess this qualifies." Cyana says as she starts to call Sterling.
"I would definitely say so." Ozpin said in agreement.
Back with Jaune and Sterling, they continued searching the city for the parrot and Cyana.
"No sign of beak breath!" Jaune said with a worried expression as he continued to look.
"There can't be that many places for the parrot the size of an elephant to roost." Sterling said. "Here," Sterling then hands over the paper to Jaune. "Here, look at what Dr. Merlot left behind."
Jaune looked over the newspaper clipping, which showed Dr. Kelly with the award and Merlot in the background. "Dr. Kelly accepts Verities Award" Jaune read out loud. "He's gonna finally pick up on his award! We gotta stop him!"
"Hopefully soon," Ironwood said. "There's no telling what kind of damage and mayhem that madman is causing."
"Hopefully as soon as they find Cyana, they will, sir." Winter said.
"First thing's first. We have to find your cousin" Sterling says just as his phone starts to ring, seeing Cyana's I.D.
"Looks like they don't need to search far." Yang commented.
"Cyana!" Jaune & Sterling exclaimed as Sterling steered in the direction of the Washington monument. "Hang on Cyana, we're coming!" Sterling said over the phone.
Back with Cyana, the Mutated parrot suddenly leaves as Cyana us barely holding on to the top spike of the monument. "I can't hold on much longer." Cyana fearfully says as she accidently drops the cellphone.
The audience waited in anticipation and worried for the young girl ,hoping that Jaune and Sterling would arrive in time to save her.
Sterling and Jaune stop in front of the monument, getting out in time to see Cyana's phone smash onto the ground in front of them.
"Oh no. Cyana'll be next." Sterling said with worry.
"Not if Jaune can do something about it!" Yang said with full faith in her fellow blonde.
"Hell yeah!" Sun said in agreement.
"Well, here's hoping the kid has a transformation up his sleeve that can get Cyana to safety." Qrow said.
Jaune looked down at his wrist and saw that the watch was timed back in. "Not if I can help it. It's hero time!" Jaune exclaimed as he slammed onto the wrist and a bright green flash occurred.
Nora grinned in excitement. "Alright! Let's see what you got for us now!"
During the transformation, the watch infuses itself within Jaune's wrist as it turns to a dark green and turns into a three clawed hand. Jaune's eyes were closed, smiling as four small eyes on long prehensile stalks sprouted out of his head, blinking.
Jaune's back then sprouted dragon-like wings with veins running through them, while also growing four crab-like legs and a stinger-like tail. With the Omnitrix symbol on his forehead, the newly transformed stood there, his wings fluttering.
"Ergh!" Weiss gags in disgust. "What…is that!?"
"That is known as a Lepidopterran. A race of insect-like aliens who spend most of their time harvesting giant plants in their home world, Lepidoptera." View explains.
"And here I thought Wildmutt was hard to look at." Blake winced.
"He doesn't seem that bad." Penny said.
"Yeah, at least it looks like it can fly." Ruby said.
"Either way, if it'll save Cyana, I don't mind." Saphron said, even though she too was grossed out by her brother's alien form.
Sterling watched in shock at Jaune's latest transformation before he took flight and went after Cyana.
Cyana was struggling to keep her grip on the pole until she suddenly couldn't manage to keep a hold as she began to fall from it, screaming as she fell down until suddenly, she was caught by Jaune.
"Oh thank goodness." Kali sighed in relief as she placed a hand on her chest.
"Nice one, Jaune!" Ruby cheered on her fellow leader and friend.
"Gotcha!" Jaune said, causing Cyana to open her eyes to look up at her savior.
"Butterfly!" Cyana said in surprise.
"Stinkfly!" Jaune corrected.
"Hmm, good name." Yang said.
"It certainly fits." Ilia said in agreement.
"Yeah, whatever." Cyana said. "Anyway, thanks for the save." Cyana said until she turns her head and gasps. "Incoming!" Cyana warned as Stinkfly turned to see the parrot flying towards them.
"Hang on!" Stinkfly said as he flew up away from the Parrots' reach. The Parrot circled back to try and ram into Stinkfly, only for him to pull up again as Cyana screams.
"God, the lungs on that kid." Qrow comments.
"She's probably scared of becoming bird food, Qrow." Tai said.
"Not if Mr Arc manages to evade it, or hopefully take it down." Glynda said.
Sterling could see the chase in the air as he pulled a determined face and started running to the monument.
Cyana was now on Stinkfly's back, screaming as he continued to dodge and evade the mutated parrot, even escaping its claw from reaching her.
"That was close…" Ruby sighed in relief.
"Whoa! Watch the nails there, Polly!" Stinkfly said as he continued to fly away from the parrot.
"Oh, I think I'm gonna be sick." Cyana groaned.
"Spew on me, and you'd better learn to fly, quick." Stinkfly said as he turned and headed back to the monument.
Meanwhile, Sterling was currently exhausted from walking all the way up the Washington Monument.
"Like it would've killed the Founding Fathers to install an elevator..." Sterling panted as he rested his hand against a wall to take a breather.
"I know the feeling there, buddy." Tai said in understanding.
"Hmm, founding fathers…" Ironwood hummed to himself.
He looks ahead to see the parrot as well as Stinkfly and Cyana coming towards him. Regaining his strength, he ran towards the window.
Stinkfly looks ahead to see Sterling gesturing to them from the monument. Stinkfly then spoke to Cyana. "I can't shake cracker-breath. You're gonna have to trust me."
"I may have a feeling of what Jaune's going to do." Ren said.
"I do too." Pyrrha said. "I just hope Jaune can manage to pull it off. It is the first time he's using this form."
"He's doing well so far." Yang pointed out. "I have no doubt he can get his cousin to safety."
"Trust you?" Cyana said with confusion until she spotted the parrot coming closer towards them. Cyana screams as Stinkfly suddenly drops her off his back and grabs her with his hands as he flies towards the Washington Monument.
"Come on…come on…" Velvet says to herself as she and the rest of the audience watch with bated breath.
"Come to Grandpa...!" Sterling says as Stinkfly flew downwards, dropping Cyana off in Sterling's arms as he pulled her in.
"Nice!" Sun pumped his fist up.
"He got her!" Coco joined in.
"Score one for Grandpa Arc!" Nora cheered.
"Now!" Stinkfly quickly says as he continues to fly down and back up as the parrot approaches the monument. The pair scream in shock as the parrot nears towards them until Stinkfly suddenly lands on its back and causes it to crash against the monument, before throwing it to the ground below.
"Ha! Take that bird brain!" Yang called out.
"Here's hoping it'll stay down for the count." Blake said. "Maybe now, Jaune can focus on taking out Merlot."
"Go! Stop Merlot. We're all right." Sterling assured.
"Speak for yourself." Cyana groans.
Stinkfly nods in response and proceeds to fly away to stop Merlot.
At Kelly Industries, Dr. Kelly was in the middle of showing his reward to the tour group of VIPs.
"And here is my Verities Award. Of course, it was an honor just to be nominated with a distinguished group of scientists" Dr Kelly chuckles.
"And one crazy whack job who is coming here to get that award." Yang commented.
Suddenly, the room started to shake and rumble as Merlot came charging into the room with his T-Rex, smashing through a glass wall as it approached the stunned Dr. Kelly as the VIP's ran away.
"Oh no…" Kali said with worry.
"Looks like Merlot has made his entrance." Nora said. "A big one of that."
"Hopefully Jaune will get there in time before anyone can get hurt." Ren said as he focused on the screen.
"Kelly! I believe you have something of mine." Merlot growls. He hops off the dino and takes the award for himself. "I'd like to thank the committee for this honor!" Merlot madly exclaims.
"The honor of being a freakish nut job, maybe." Coco remarked.
Merlot hops back onto the T. Rex as it approaches Kelly and roars in his face. Suddenly, Stinkfly came rushing in, bashing himself against the dino's face.
"Yeah!" Nora and Yang cheered together. "Knock that dino out!"
"Looks like he made it in time." Glynda smiled at her alternative student.
Ozpin nodded. "Indeed. Now let's hope he can stop Merlot before he harms Kelly."
The T-Rex used its tail against Stinkfly, smashing him down onto the ground. Stinkfly rubs his head in pain until he suddenly spots a gold Sumo Slammer card in the rubble and grinned in excitement. "Whoa, I struck Sumo Slammer gold!" Stinkfly says as he was ready to grab the card.
"Oh come on." Ilia groaned.
"I guess that card did come back after all." Penny commented.
"There are more important things going on than some dumb card." Weiss said.
"Somebody help me!" Dr Kelly screams in fear as he is caught in the T-Rex's mouth.
"Come on, Jaune…" Pyrrha said in a hopeful tone. She knew that Jaune would save people no matter what and that his younger self would be able to do so.
Stinkfly Looked back at the gold Sumo Slammer card, knowing what he needed to do instead. "Oh, man! This hero stuff ain't easy." Stinkfly says as he flies up to save Dr. Kelly as more rubble piled onto the card.
"Never usually is, kid." Qrow said.
"But it's worth it." Ruby smiled.
The T. Rex flew Kelly up in the air, ready to eat him until suddenly Stinkfly swoops in and saves him, much to Merlot's anger.
"Hell yeah!" Yang cheered.
"Take that, Dr. Whack job!" Sun joined in
"What are you, you little pest?" Merlot snarls.
"I'm Stinkfly," The alien said after dropping Kelly to the ground. "And I'm here to kick some tail!"
Dr. Merlot then shoots a beam right at Stinkfly, who quickly dodges the blast as he flies around the room as the beam follows after him.
Stinkfly flew then towards Merlot, where he fired streams of projected slime right from his eyes and onto the T-Rex, blinding it.
"Ew, gross." Weiss cringed.
"While disgusting, it is effective." Ren pointed out.
"Yeah, plus it makes Merlot's defeat that much more satisfying to see." Coco said with a smirk.
Merlot turned to Stinkfly in shock where he landed a punch on his award, causing him to drop it to the ground. "No!" Merlot exclaimed in horror as the award shattered to pieces.
Nora winced. "Oof, bad luck for Merlot."
"And I have a feeling it's about to get worse." Winter said with a small smile.
While he was distracted, Stinkfly flew above Merlot, taking the Transmodulator of his head. "My Transmodulator!" Merlot exclaims as Stinkfly throws it to the ground, breaking it as it sends a wave around the area, causing the T-Rex to dissolve and de-animate back into bones.
"No...! No...! No!" Merlot cried out as the T-Rex's skeleton broke apart as Merlot fell to the ground.
"And thus ends the mad plan of Dr. Merlot." Ozpin smiles as he sips his coffee.
Meanwhile back with Sterling and Cyana, the mutant parrot was approaching the two when suddenly the wave from the Transmodulator hits it as well, causing it to revert back to its normal form.
Penny sighed in relief. "It is thankful that the signal also reached the parrot before it could hurt Sterling or Cyana."
Cyana and Sterling watched in awe as the parrot perched on Cyana's arm.
"Don't even try to kiss up to me now." Cyana frowned.
The next day arrives at Dr. Kelly's workplace as the police are currently arresting Dr. Merlot as the Arcs watch.
"Let me go! I deserve that award!" Merlot yelled out while being dragged away. "I've got it coming to me! I want it!" Merlot said as he was placed inside a cop car.
"Well, he's not wrong." Ruby smiles in amusement at Merlot's rant.
"Do you guys think he'll ever come back?" Velvet asks.
"Guys like that usually do." Sun said.
Yang grins. "And they usually get their butts kicked just as soon as they do."
Jaune approached the car with an inquisitive look. "For some reason, that sounds kinda familiar."
Saphron rolled her eyes. "Gee, I wonder why."
The screen then showed The Rust Bucket leaving Washington.
"I didn't get that gold Sumo Slammer card, but at least I snagged a trophy from Merlot." Jaune said while holding up a piece of the Transmodulator before putting it in a box. "Plus, I guess saving the city from "Dr. Wacko" was its own reward."
"Don't forget you saved me, too. Thanks." Cyana said in a sincere tone.
Jaune grins as he relaxes against his chair and puts his hands to the back of his head. "Yeah, well, that's what we heroes do best: Rescue dweebs."
"You are such a major doofus." Cyana said with irritation.
"I know you are, but what am I?" Jaune retorted with a laugh as the screen fades to black.
"Man, that was fun." Yang commented with a smile.
Ruby smiled in agreement with her sister. "Yeah, it sure was. It was fun seeing Sterling and Cyana."
"And it was quite interesting to see the rest of Jaune's alien forms." Penny chimed in with her cheerful smile.
Ren nodded in agreement. "That makes seven transformations thus far. There are only three left that we haven't seen yet."
"Though it does make me wonder," Ozpin said, gaining everyone's attention. "If there are more people like Merlot in this world."
"I can't see why there wouldn't be." Ironwood said. "Perhaps technology in this world is far more advanced than we thought, even without dust or semblance."
"I doubt any of them would be as strong as Vilgax." Winter said.
"Indeed." Glynda said in agreement. "I just hope Mr. Arc is ready and trained by the time he does show up."
"Well if he does, I'm sure Four Arms will knock him out!" Yang said with a grin. "Or maybe even Heatblast."
"Not unless XLR8 runs circles around him." Ruby said with a teasing grin, prompting Yang to smile back and nudged her sister's shoulder.
"Unlikely." Nora joined in. "Wildmutt would tear him to shreds!"
View watches in amusement as the conversation of the aliens continues. "I guess in a way, they're all right. Just have to wait till they see it first hand though."

Thanks for waiting patiently for this one. This one took a lot longer, not because it was hard to write or anything, but because I was writing in advance of several future chapters for Worlds of Arc.
That being said, I do plan on covering some episodes in the first season of Ben 10. I'm only doing the ones that I feel are important to the story. Also, sorry for not adding the theme, but to me, it just wouldn't make sense as there's no in-universe explanation for why it's there and Jaune's name doesn't rhyme with the words.
So, RWBY Volume 9 finished a while ago. And while I did say I would only be watching the first episode, I ended up watching the rest of it. And I have to say, I was really surprised. I ended up really enjoying Volume 9 as it quickly became one of my favorite seasons of RWBY.
I know some people were mixed on it and it's totally understandable, but me personally, I really like the Volume and what it did. I like the design of Older Jaune and I liked the deep delve through each member of Team RWBY's psyche. The Volume thankful reignited my interest back into RWBY and left me hopeful for the future.
I also know that there was a crossover movie with the Justice League, and while it looks alright, I don't feel like watching it anytime soon. At least not yet.
Also, gameplay of Marvel's Spider-Man has been released and it looks amazing! The Black Suit gameplay looks awesome, Kraven and Lizard looks amazing and we have the option to switch between Peter and Miles. My personal hope is for more villains, suits and possibly have the option to play as Venom like in the Ultimate Spider-Man game. I know I'm definitely gonna be pre ordering as soon as I'm able to.
And I know some people want me to cover the game, and I would love to write in the reactions. But doing the Spider-Man chapters, as I said before, left me feeling exhausted doing them. It is a possibility in the future, but it's not something I wanna think about doing for a while.
I'm also not going to do a chapter based on the gameplay footage either. The reason is that when gameplay footage came out for the first game, the events in it were different. Peter talking to Yuri instead of Jeff, Martin Li being there, so the same might be for the sequel.
Also, if you take a look at my profile page, you'll see an updated list of stories I plan on doing. This includes my Arc of the Jedi story plus another crossover story between RWBY and Transformers that I also plan on doing. Before it was one of my planned stories in the future, but after talking about it with a few other people, it might come out a lot sooner.
