Summary:Yae can't help but get mad at Sara for wanting to increase her collection of statues with another one of the Almighty Shogun and none of her, so after slamming the door in her face, Sara will have to find a way to ask for her girlfriend's forgiveness.

Asking for forgiveness 1

Unbelievable.

Not only her own girlfriend owns the incredible and exact number of 5 statues of her Excellency, the Almighty Narukami Ogosho, God of Thunder in an altar especially made for them, and absolutely none of her. But now she's telling her about the possibility of increasing her collection with one more in a really excited way.

- Seriously Sara, another one? – Yae asks her while arching one of her perfectly sculpted brows and as she crosses her arms across her chest looking rather outraged.

- I... you see, it's a very rare and special collectors' edition statue of the Almighty Shogun so I...

Sara then trails off while blushing embarrassed, and Yae can only huff, because as cute as her girlfriend looks, she isn't the object of her affections.

- Sara, I can try to get it for you if you want it so badly, but why don't you even have any kind of merchandising of your OWN girlfriend?

Yae asks outraged, seeing Sara furrowing her brow, before looking at her with an adorable and confused pout adorning her features.

- Why would I have to have it? I already have the real one with me.

She simply but cutely says, smiling widely and adoringly, and even Yae feels her heart fluttering at how cute her girlfriend is, blushing slightly honored by her words, yet she can't help but sigh at her girlfriend's denseness.

- Ugh, you also have Ei, remember? – Yae states, seeing Sara blinking and blushing slightly more.

- B-but that's not true.

- For Archon's sake, Ei is our best friend!

Yae says while losing her patience, seeing Sara frowning.

- But it's a special collectors' edition statue... – Sara mumbles childishly.

- Argh, the nerve with you! Seriously! – Yae exclaims frustrated, losing completely the little patience that was left in her – Leave, I can't seriously stand you right now.

She says with great regret as she begins to push a pouty and confused Sara towards the door, before she slams it in her face.

- Yae?

Sara asks confused as she stands outside Yae's abode staring puzzled at the closed door in front of her, before Yae opens it and gives her a hard look.

- I'm sorry?

Sara apologizes awkwardly, tilting her head adorably, yet she still earns herself an indignant huff from her girlfriend.

- I bet you're sorry, now leave.

Yae says sternly as she slams the door in her face once again, and Sara can only let out a heavy and dejected sigh as she turns around to leave the shrine grounds, walking down the stairs that lead to the temple in a sulky mood.

- Sara? It's rather strange to see you in such a huh sulky mood – Ei comments puzzled as she passes by Sara at the stairs, blinking upon seeing her expression.

- Ah, your Excellency, I apologize – Sara quickly apologizes as a light blush tints her cheeks upon having her beloved Shogun witnessing her in such a sulky mood.

- What did we say about calling me Ei when it's just us, Sara – Ei says softly, bringing a brief smile to Sara's face – is everything okay?

Sara then can only look at her like a lost puppy, taking her aback.

- I... I believe Yae and I aren't on speaking terms right now – Sara mumbles while furrowing her brow confusedly, and Ei can't help but blink now upon her words.

- Did you two have a fight? – she asks skeptical, seeing the other woman nodding.

As much as they bicker almost all the time, Ei believes Miko would never get mad at Sara to such a point.

- Now that's strange, can I know what happened? Maybe I can help.

Ei asks curious, offering her help before she notices a hard blush tinting her general's cheeks.

- It's a bit embarrassing – Sara murmurs, causing Ei to blush thinking it's a private matter – I... she may have got angry at me I believe because I *cough* own some statues of your Excellency.

Sara mumbles quietly, making Ei blink for the nth time in such a short period of time, before she giggles cutely, making the blush on Sara's cheeks deepen even more.

- And I take that she's jealous of it? – Ei asks amused upon thinking about her best friend being jealous of her and of the statues, seeing Sara nodding – Then why don't you buy some of her statues too?

Sara can only sigh as a frown appears on her face once again.

- But I already have the real one – she simply explains, and Ei can only giggle again.

- But you also have the real Shogun, we're friends Sara – Ei explains with a fond smile on her face, seeing Sara biting her lip, before she sighs.

- I guess you're right – the general exhales while slumping her shoulders – What do you think I could do to make it up to Yae and earn her forgiveness?

Ei can only place her hand on her chin as she thinks thoughtfully on Sara's question, trying to find a way to help her friend and also general.

- I believe mortals give something to their couples in order to earn their forgiveness. They usually give them flowers or chocolate or even jewels.

Sara can only furrow her brow further at such superfluous presents, before she has an idea.

- Do you think fried tofu would be suitable? – Sara asks innocently, earning herself a giggle from the purple haired woman, before Ei notices how serious she's about it.

- Oh, you're serious about it – Ei comments quietly, pausing as she sees Sara looking at her as if she had all the answers to her question – Well, I guess you can always try. After all, Miko loves fried tofu.

Ei says with a smile adorning her lips, noticing the way Sara's golden eyes light up at it, before she frowns again.

- Does your Exc- Do you know how to cook fried tofu?

Sara asks timidly and Ei can only giggle amused at how soft the stoic general can be when it comes to Miko.

- I'm sure we can learn how to make them at the Tenshukaku's kitchen.

She comments as they begin to walk towards the Shogun's castle.

After looking up in some books and asking the castle's chefs, Sara finishes making the last piece of fried tofu, giving it to Ei so she can taste it.

- It tastes good! I can't say the same about their look though – Ei gives Sara her honest opinion about the fried tofu, seeing Sara blushing self-consciously at it – but I believe Miko won't care about it, so don't worry.

She adds with a fond smile on her face, squeezing Sara's forearm in a reassuring way as the other woman sighs in relief and begins to carefully put them in a box ready to take them away.

- Good luck!

Ei wishes the general as she watches her leaving the Tenshukaku castle towards the Gran Narukami Shrine, hoping her best friends could settle things between them and be okay again.

Sara, for her part, can't help but feel more nervous that in any battle she experienced in her life, taking a deep breath as she reaches her girlfriend's abode and knocks on her door exactly five times, waiting for her to open it.

Soon, she sees her amethyst eyes looking into hers with a mix of emotions swirling inside them.

- Can I please come in? – Sara asks timidly, hearing Yae sighing before she opens the door wide-open to let her in – Thank you. I, huh, I've brought you something.

Sara says timidly as she shows Yae the box she carries, noticing her smelling it.

- Fried tofu? – Yae asks, the happy glint in her eyes betraying her unamused expression.

- Y-yeah.

And even though Yae is supposed to be angry at her, she happily accepts the box, opening it only to furrow her brow.

- What the...

- Ah, I've made them.

Sara confesses embarrassedly, blushing under Yae's intense gaze, before the priestess sighs and takes one, inspecting it suspiciously before she takes a bite of it, tasting it slowly.

- I admit they look terrible – Yae pauses, seeing Sara pouting sadly – but they actually taste great.

She ends up saying, seeing Sara brightening up and smiling cutely.

- For real!?

- For real – Yae says as she giggles cutely, seeing Sara giving her a sweet smile.

- Then can I ask for your forgiveness? – Sara asks her timidly, and Yae doesn't have the heart to keep being angry at her.

- Only if I can taste and enjoy this delicacy more often.

Yae says winking at her, and Sara can only smile and kiss her timidly.

- Whenever you want. Thank you, Yae.

- You still have to buy some of my statues though – Yae says then, causing Sara to giggle.

- All you want.

Yae shakes her head amused at her silly and cute girlfriend, before they share another tender kiss.

- I have to ask you for a favor in return though – Sara asks timidly as they pull away, making Yae arch an eyebrow at this – Could you give me a copy of your next book in advance?

This can only surprise the other woman further, seeing Sara fidgeting with her haori.

- You see, the Almighty... I mean Ei, asked me for it in exchange for helping me cooking the fried tofu.

Sara confesses, and Yae feels anger bubbling inside her once again.

- The nerve with that vexing woman! – she exclaims as she makes wild gesticulations with her hands, before she pushes her girlfriend towards the front door – and the nerve with you for going to ask her for help! Now leave and don't come back until tomorrow. And you better think of anything else than fried tofu to ask for my forgiveness this time!

Yae yells as she slams the door in the general's face for the second time in the day, not seeing Sara slumping her shoulders to then leave the shrine grounds sulkily, already thinking on different ways to ask her girlfriend for forgiveness, this time without Ei's help.
