"Yeah. Where are you off to? You are gonna have fun. Right?" Alex said as they looked at Serena who was following them.
"Well, I, uh, I-" Serena said, being stuttered on what Alex said.
"If there is no choice then-" Serena said as she wondered what to do.
"Why don't you come along with us?" Ash offered to Serena.
"Join us!" Pikachu said joining along with ash.
"Yeah, that'd be fun! Come with us, We'll have a great time!" Bonnie said as she wanted to let serena come along.
"Wait, Are you all serious?" Alex said as he saw his group want to let Serena join.
"Yeah, sounds like an excellent idea to me." Ash said as he wanted to let more join.
"Ah, Ash. Why though?" Alex said as Ash looked at his best friend, reasoning why.
"Why? It was thanks to her, I came up with my Santalune Gym strategy. And if she can help us from on out. Uh, it would be great for us as friends." Ash said to Alex, reasoning why he won the badge in the first place.
"Hm. Uh.." Serena said as she didn't know if she seemed to join.
"If Serena feels like it. Then-" Alex said as serena already made her choice.
"Sure! How could I say no to all that?" Serena said as she winked to them. Seemingly joining the squad.
"Alright!" Bonnie said happily that Serena joined.
"Yeah, that's the spirit!" Ash said as Serena was happy.
"Wow. Uh, Well. Um. Welcome Aboard!" Alex said as he let Serena suddenly join the group.
"Come on!" Ash said as he wanted to let them to join.
"Well. Welcome!" Alex said as he welcomed Serena to the group.
"Ash, you're planning to travel to the cyllege gym next. Aren't you?" Serena said, knowing that ash is gonna battle for the league.
"Yeah." Ash said as Alex joined his friend also. Needing to join the league also.
"Me too." Alex added on as Serena had the perfect idea.
"Well. I can show you both how I can get there. Ta-Da!" Serena said as she showed her new GPS to everyone as they were surprised.
"What is that?" Alex questioned serena as he saw the confusing GPS looking thing.
"A GPS." Serena said, telling alex what the device is.
"Oh. Okay." Alex said, following along.
"Here's where we are now. Santalune City. But look here. Lumiose City is between us and Cyllege City." Serena said as she showed everyone how they would travel from one place to another.
"Oooh." Alex said in awe, looking how they would get there.
"So we all have to travel back through Lumiose City before we get there." Serena said as they were heading off to their travels.
"I guess you're right." Ash said as Serena knew what to do from their travels.
"Hmhm, Great! There's a botique in Lumiose City with the cutest clothes, and there's an awesome bakery that has the best pasteries you've ever tasted!" Serena said as she knew much about the Lumiose city.
"Aaahhh." Bonnie said as water escaped from her mouth. She was drooling.
"What are we waiting for? Let's hurry up!" Serena said heading off toward their next destination.
"Yippee!" Bonnie said following serena.
"Clemont, Step on it!" Ash said to Clemont, telling him to move.
"You don't wanna be left behind!" Alex teased as Clemont panted.
"I'm doing my best." Clemont said tiringly to the group. After a bit, they headed their way over and had a chat in the woods.
"Long as we're going to Lumiose City. I'd really like to take a shot at a Lumiose Gym Battle." Ash said in confusion about the last moments.
"Yeah." Pikachu agreed, wondering why they were kicked out.
"Me too, Y'know? It'd be fun but with what I have.. Eh..." Alex joined in, wanting to join as Clemont gave some nervous looks on his face.
"Well, it's probably a good idea to keep in mind that you both haven't been in the Kalos Region very long. I've got an idea." Clemont said, offering an idea of his own.
"What's that?" Ash said to Clemont.
"Why don't you both utilize this time to catch another Kalos Pokemon?" Clemont offered to them about his idea.
"Yeah. That's a good point." Ash said as he wanted to do it.
"But what are we gonna find-" Alex said before Ash began to look as alex sighed.
"Now, where's my next pokemon hanging out?" Ash said as he began searching for his next Kalos Pokemon.
"And.. there he goes with it already." Alex said with a sigh. He did know ash but unlike him, he was careful with his choices.
"Huh?" Ash said as Bonnie called for him.
"Hey, Ash! If you catch a really cute Pokemon, will you let me take care of it!" Bonnie said to Ash.
"Sure, of course." Ash said happily as Bonnie smiled.
"Yippee! Yay!" Bonnie said happily about the idea.
"Good for little bonnie here." Alex said as Bonnie was still happy.
"So. why did you decide to go on a journey, Serena?" Clemont asked Serena.
"Yeah. Did you find out why? Is it to be the best? Or..." Alex said as Serena still questioned on her journey.
"Huh? Hm." Serena said as Ash kept looking around.
"Here?" Ash said looking around.
"Uh, Ash?" Alex said as Serena approached Ash.
"I wanted to give this back to you. It's yours." Serena said giving him a handkerchief as Ash was surprised.
"Huh?" Ash said in surprise.

EPISODE 8: Giving Chase At The Rhyhorn Race! (Ash)
EPISODE 8: Rhyhorn Rides! Race on! (Alex)
"Ash, remember when we were talking about going to Professor Oaks Pokemon Summer Camp back when we were younger?" Serena said once again about the summer camp.
"Yeah." Ash said as Serena remembered it more.
"Well. You let me borrow this way back then." Serena said as she remembered.
"Huh?" Alex questioned, he knew Ash from sinnoh for very long. What is she going on about?
Flashback
"Ah... Where is everybody? Where did you all go? Aah!" A young serena said as she was lost in the woods before being startled by bushes. Causing her to fall on the ground.
"Huh...?" Serena said with a slight cry as a Poliwag jumped out.
"Poli!" A Poliwag said as it looked around.
"Aah!" Serena cried out, startling the Poliwag.
"Poli! Pol! Pol! Pol!" Poliwag said as it jumped away from the young serena. Serena was scared.
"I knew I didn't want to come to camp. I knew it!" The young serena said as she began letting tears out.
"MOMMY!" The young serena cried out in tears. The bush rustled once again.
"Huh?" The young serena said as she looked at the bush once again and began sobbing some more.
"Poliwag? Huh? Hey, Are you alright?" A Young Ash said as he came out of the bushes, looking for Poliwag as he then noticed Serena on the ground still. He was wearing a yellow short and a blue shorts.
"Huh?" A Young Serena said as she looked up to the young boy.
"Hi. I'm Ash. Who are you?" A Young Ash said as he introduced himself.
"Uhm..." A young serena whimpered in fear.
"What's wrong?" A Young Ash said as he looked at the young serena who was hurt.
"I hurt my leg." Young Serena whimpered as a Young Ash began to dig into his pocket.
"Don't worry. See this? This'll make it better." Young Ash said as he wrapped a handkerchief around Serena's leg.
"Huh?" Young Serena said as the Young Ash got up.
"All done." Young Ash said as he was done healing with Serena's leg.
"Oh." Young Serena said as she watched Ash.
"Now, Watch this. Feel better, feel better right away!" Young Ash said as he made a pretend healing spell, Serena tried to get up but to no use.
"Ouch! It still hurts. I can't stand up! Huh?" A Young Serena said as Ash got up and made some good words.
"Don't give up till it's over, okay? Come on." A Young Ash said as he offered his hand out to Serena.
"Huh?" A Young Serena said as she became hesitatant at first.
"Oh... Ugh! Huh..." A Young Serena said as she groaned but got up on her legs.
"There you go." A Young Ash said as he held her arm lightly.
"I think we should be getting back to the campsite. Okay? Come on." A Young Ash said as he pointed to the direction of the camp and the way out and slowly guided the Young Serena out by holding her hand softly.
"Oh... Oh." A Young Serena said as the young ash managed to guide them out of the forest.
End Of Flashback.
"That's Ash's handkerchief?" Bonnie said as Serena continued to hold Ash's handkerchief.
"Cool!" Dedenne said on top of Bonnie's head.
"Yeah. I've been wanting to give it back to you for a long time now, but never had a chance to do it. Thank you." Serena said as she gave the handkerchief back to ash.
"Uh, Sure." Ash said as he slowly took the handkerchief.
"But then when I saw the Garchomp news story on TV and saw it was you, I knew it was time for me to try to track you down." Serena said as she knew she wanted to find ash as she blushed, ash gasped in realization.
"Hold on. Now I remember. You're the girl with the straw hat! Wow that was you! And you came all the way for this?" Ash said as he know knew Serena had grown up as she smiled with a blush.
"So you remember Ash from the summer camp back then. I see. You've grown since that day." Alex said as he put his fingers on his chin.
"I'm amazed how you know me well." Ash said to Serena.
"No, No. I do not yet, I've just wondered how you knew Ash, I remember my journey in Hoenn that I went to a summer camp in Sinnoh, I met someone who went and it was the same outcome." Alex said as he began to know how he and Serena's way of meeting ash was different.
"Incredible, felt like you two had the same outcome from each other." Serena said as she knew Alex and Ash had a good bond.
"Yeah, but how come you went to Kanto if you were from this region?" Alex questioned, why did Serena go to the Kanto region?
"My mother felt like it was the right thing." Serena said with a small answer.
"Huh, It feels like you had some sort of small friendship." Alex said as know he knew he wasn't the only one who had a bond with ash.
"Not just that. You see, I also really wanted to see you again. But.. I never guessed you wouldn't remember me at all. Hmmph." Serena said as she turned around and looked at ash then pouted.
"Uh, yeah, sorry." Ash said as he sweatdropped with an apology.
"Come on. Ash!" Pikachu said upsettingly.
"Hahaha!" The group chuckled about Ash's miscue as Alex perked his head up.
"Oh." Clemont said as they all heard a rumble.
"Huh?" Ash and Serena said in confusion.
"What's that noise?" Bonnie asked as Alex was concerned
"An earthquake?!" Alex said as he looked around.
"That's..." Serena said as she knew what it was after a rock fell.
"LOOK OUT!" Alex cried out as the group got out of the way as people came through riding rhyhorn's on their backs.
"I knew it! Rhyhorn!" Serena said as she and bonnie were on one side of a cliff.
"There's more!" Clemont cried out as he and ash and alex were on another side with another wave of people charging in. Alex and Ash got their Pokedexes out.
"Rhyhorn, The Spikes Pokemon. Rhyhorn recklessly charges straight ahead trampling over anything that gets in it's way." The Pokedex scanned as it explained Rhyhorn's data as the Rhyhorn went past them. The group got up as none more came and looked confused.
"What was that about?" Ash questioned, why were they coming?
"It's a Rhyhorn race." Serena said, she knew about it for some reason.
"Race?" Ash asked in confusion. What did it mean by race? Then they heard a motorcycle come up to them. It was Officer Jenny.
"What do you all think you're doing? You're not suppose to be here. You're standing in the middle of the Rhyhorn racecourse!" Officer Jenny said as she knew that there was some issues. Alex freaked out.
"Ah! We're so sorry!" Alex said as he slightly bowed in a apology.
"The Rhyhorn Racecourse?!" Ash said in surprise as Officer Jenny explained.
Odyssey Village: A Few Minutes Later
"This is Odyssey Village, where the Rhyhorn race begins." Officer Jenny explained as they saw some beautiful places.
"Wow." Alex said as he was amazed in the sight-seeing.
"The course starts here at the village square, goes through the forest and comes back." Officer Jenny said as she explained the rules of a rhyhorn race.
"Things are heating up here on day two of this exciting Rhyhorn Race! In the lead is number five, Ian!" The announcer said as it showed Rhyhorn with people on their backs racing through the forest.
"Wow! A Rhyhorn race! Never seen one before!" Ash said as he was amazed.
"This is maybe famous once a year. I did not know Kalos would do these types of things." Alex said as he made his own guess.
"Rhyhorn races are really popular in the Kalos Region." Clemont explained as he knew that Rhyhorn races were popular.
"This is so awesome to watch!" Ash said as he was watching on the tv.
"Awesome!" Pikachu said on ash's shoulder.
"Rhyhorn are so cute, too!" Bonnie said as she was blushing seeing the Rhyhorns.
"You know, they even have special Rhyhorn racetracks in bigger cities. This course is actually kind of easy." Serena said as she had some experience with what was going on.
"Really? You sure know a lot." Ash said as he turned to serena.
"I mean, I didn't know they would ramp this up with Rhyhorn." Alex said as he didn't think races would be all over the region.
"Well, I guess so." Serena said as she slightly sweatdropped.
"How does this Rhyhorn Raceway work?" Alex asked, now he was the curious one about the race.
"Okay, an official Rhyhorn race consists of six Rhyhorns. See?" Serena said as she explained briefly about them.
"Wow!" Ash said as he amazed.
"There's a special Rhyhorn race anyone can participate in tomorrow. Ash, if you're interested you might wanna give that race a try." Officer Jenny said as she looked at ash to see if he would partake in it.
"You mean it? Great! I'm in!" Ash said as he declared it.
"Looks like he wants to participate in any kind of event." Alex said as he was surprised on Ash's move.
"I wanna join in!" Pikachu chimed in with Ash.
Transition: Rhyhorn Practice Farm
"Choose your Rhyhorn for the race from these right here." The woman said as the group was looking over at a fence to protect themselves, watching the multiple rhyhorns.
"Cool!" Ash said as he leaned.
"Cool!" Pikachu said also.
"Go ahead and pick any Rhyhorn that interests you." The woman said, making her offer to Ash. Which one would Ash pick?
"You mean, I can really choose my own?" Ash said looking at the woman caretaker.
"Sure!" The woman said, letting ash choose.
"Hmm." Ash said as he looked at all the Rhyhorn.
"Well, I need to get back to work. Have a great race, Ash, Bye." Officer Jenny said as she then parted ways with the group to return to her job.
"I will. Thanks for everything, Officer Jenny." Ash said, thanking the officer for help.
"Thank you for the directions. We needed the way." Alex said as he thanked Officer Jenny as well.
"Wonder which one I should choose." Ash said as the Rhyhorn were drinking water and relaxing.
"Each one of them is so cute!" Bonnie said as she loved all the Rhyhorn she witnessed.
"Hm." Ash thought as he looked and went behind one, Serena noticed something and warned him.
"Ash, Don't do that!" Serena exclaimed as Ash looked at her, very confused.
"What? Don't do what Ash is currently doing?" Alex said as he wanted to see if Serena would be lying.
"If you approach a Rhyhorn from behind, it might begin to panic and then run." Serena explained about the Rhyhorns.
"Oh? How do you approach one then?" Alex said as he made a smirk, Serena looked at him and showed him.
"Do this, come in from the front and move very slowly." Serena said as she slowly approached the Rhyhorn as it stood still, then serena kneeled down and petted it.
"There, there, it's okay." Serena said as she petted it above the horn as it smiled and felt very calm.
"Ah..." The Rhyhorn said as it felt calm.
"See?" Serena said as she looked at Ash with a Smile.
"Amazing." Ash said as Alex gave a blank look as he was dumbfounded in amazement.
"What. That easily?" Alex said as he shook his head with astoundment.
"Awesome!" Pikachu said as he was surprised.
"Now this Rhyhorn seems to be gentle and really smart." Serena said as she could be able to identify it from it's behavior.
"Sounds good. Then I choose you. Nice to meet you, Rhyhorn." Ash said as he made his choice.
"You too." Rhyhorn said happily as he accepted Ash as his rider.
"Serena really cares for Ash and explaining about Rhyhorn better than I do, maybe I should not just judge her. She's incredible." Alex thought to himself as he smiled as Serena really cared for Ash and how the Rhyhorn was when it approached her.
"Wow, I'm impressed! Serena, you're so good at handling Rhyhorn." Clemont said as he was amazed at Serena's skills.
"Thank you." Serena blushed as she took the nice comment from Clemont.
"Tell us, How do you know these Rhyhorn?" Alex said as he asked Serena about how Serena knew these Rhyhorn well.
"See, the truth is my mother was a rhyhorn racer and so she made sure I knew how to handle them from the time I was a little girl." Serena explained as it was true, Grace; her mother was a Rhyhorn Racer. So she taught it down to Serena. Ash got up and looked at Serena.
"Whoa, does that mean you want to be a Rhyhorn Racer too, Serena?" Ash said as he asked her about her goal.
"Are you going to participate in these events for the championship with us in the future?" Alex asked, wondering if the group would have to watch Serena be in these events.
"Whoa-ho. Rhyhorn racing is fine, but I wonder. There might be something I might like to do even more... so I haven't made any decision just yet." Serena said as she looked out to the world as the wind blew as she wanted to find her choice of the path.
"If you ask me, I'd say it sounds like you want to find your own path." Clemont said as he made his suggestion with his index finger pointing at the sky.
"Mm-hmm." Serena said as Ash made his suggestion.
"Hey, Serena. Since you know so much about Rhyhorn racing, do you think you could teach me some of the basics like the rules and how to ride?" Ash said as he wanted Serena to help him after what she did.
"You mean... me?" Serena asked as she was amazed that Ash was asking from her.
"Yeah. Please?" Ash said with a plead.
"Uh..." Serena said worriedly.
"You have so much experience. It would really be a big help. We really don't know anything at all." Clemont explained, Serena had more experience with Rhyhorn after all.
"Please Serena? You're the expert!" Bonnie asked as Serena had no other choice to do.
"Well, I guess so." Serena said as she would want to help.
"Alright!" Ash said happily, Serena would help!
"The twerp and the Pikachu. We've been looking for those two." Jessie said as they were spying on Ash, Pikachu and the group. Finding them.
"And they've got Rhyhorn racing on the brain." James said, noticing how they had a Rhyhorn also with them.
"When you've got a Rhyhorn, you've got something." Meowth said looking at them.
"Wobbuf-" Wobbuffet cried out before being silenced.
"They've got power to spare. And reeling in a Rhyhorn and Pikachu is sure to earn us the Boss' seal of approval." Jessie said smirkingly with a plan.
"Grade A." James said with a smirk.
"Yeah. So let's catch them. What do you say?" Meowth said, this was the plan.
"Wobba Wobba!" Wobbuffet said as they made their plan once again.
"Heheh, Okay. I'm all set!" Serena said as she wore a Pink outfit with her hair being in a ponytail.
"Wow! You look amazing!" Alex said as he loved Serena's new Pink outfit.
"You look great!" Bonnie said as she liked Serena being in the outfit.
"So amazing!" Pikachu amazingly said as he enjoyed the outfit.
"It suits you." Clemont said, being scientific on Serena's outfit.
"Aw, thank you. I sewed these patches on my suit just for fun." Serena said as she pointed at some of the heart patches she made.
"Well, they're so cute!" Bonnie said as she loved Serena's pink outfit.
"Ash, look!" Serena said as Ash was getting on his blue outfit when he looked at Serena.
"Awesome! Looking good!" Ash
"They call it Rhyhorn racing Fashion." Serena
"Hahah. How do I look?" Ash said as he wore a plain blue outfit, to his enjoyment.
"Perfect!" Bonnie exclaimed, she loved ash's outfit.
"A bit blue, but we could work it out." Alex said as he didn't like the whole blue color suit.
"First, you approach the Rhyhorn slowly so you won't startle it. Okay." Serena first instructed as she did repeat what she did last time.
"..." Ash slowly approached the Rhyhorn like Serena said commandingly.
"Next, you put your foot on here and then boost yourself up." Serena said as she pointed where Ash would boost himself up.
"Like this? Ngh. WAH!" Ash said as he boosted himself up before going overboard. And missing.
"Too much. I would say." Alex said as he believed he boosted himself to much.
"Oh..." Serena sighed, watching Ash fall.
"Are you okay?" Clemont asked, Ash got up.
"Ah... Even getting on one of these is tougher than I thought." Ash said as he knew riding one of them would not be easy.
"Of course. You need to practice." Serena said as practice makes perfect.
"Right! Practice!" Ash said as Alex gave him some words.
"Just the right amount they would say!" Alex explained, not to soft or not to much.
Transition: Ash, A Few Minutes Later.
"Here goes. Waah!" Ash said as he got up and tried multiple times. None of them succeeded.
"Oh, no." Bonnie moaned as she, Dedenne and Pikachu sweatdropped.
"Oh dear." Pikachu sweatdropped in worry.
"There's got to be a trick to doing it right." Clemont said as he pondered if this would work or not.
"No, isn't it just boost yourself up onto there?" Alex said to Clemont as Ash looked at Serena.
"Do you think you could show me how it's done, Serena?" Ash asked as Serena was surprised what Ash wanted to do.
"Uh? Uh..." Serena said as she turned her head to think.
"Come on! If I don't know how to get on, how am I gonna be able to enter the race?" Ash asked, he wanted to know how he can get on to enter.
"Oh, okay. Now, Watch me closely." Serena sighed as she carefully told ash.
"Uh-huh." Ash nodded, paying close attention.
"Do this and you're up." Serena said as she got onto Rhyhorn without much trouble.
"That's great!" Ash said as he was amazed Serena did it with ease.
"Amazing work, Serena!" Alex said as he clapped on Serena's skills.
"Serena, you're awesome!" Bonnie said as she believed Serena was a good trainer.
"Well, im certainly impressed!" Clemont exclaimed, being amazed on Serena showing them how to do it.
"Really?" Serena said as she looked over, Alex then had to ask something else.
"So, how do you manage to make it move?" Alex questioned as Serena closed her eyes with a blush.
"And when you want your Rhyhorn to walk, signal lightly with your feet." Serena said as she lightly moved her left leg, Rhyhorn began to move suddenly.
"Look at it go! So cute!" Bonnie said as they were together in sync.
"Perfect form!" Clemont said as they were together.
"Okay, how do you run?" Ash asked, Serena listened to Ash's words.
"'How do you run?'" Serena restated Ash's words, she began to think when.
"Raaarrghhh!" Rhyhorn groaned as he went a little crazy before throwing Serena off.
"Serena!" Ash said, seeing if Serena was alright.
"Does Rhyhorn normally do that?" Alex asked as the Rhyhorn calmed down.
"Well, what happened?" Clemont asked, Serena was wincing in a bit of pain.
"Boy, That hurts..." Serena moaned out as she noticed she was getting some attention.
"Hmmm? Hmm." The Rhyhorns said as the slowly came right to her.
"Huh? Hmm? Uh..." Serena said as she was suddenly surrounded by them wuickly.
"Serena!" The others called out as Serena was mobbed by Rhyhorn but they heard something under all of it.
"Hehehehehe!" Serena giggled from the Rhyhorns.
"Huh?" Ash said, was Serena laughing?
"Is she.. laughing under that?" Alex asked as he tried to find her from the Rhyhorns.
"Stop! That tickles! That tickles!" Serena laughed from it, the Rhyhorns were licking her.
"What's going on?" Ash said as he and Clemont arrived to see Serena being enjoyed by Rhyhorns.
"It looks like she's laughing." Clemont said as Alex threw a glance at him.
"Yeah, thats what I said. Genius." Alex said to Clemont, in a annoyed tone.
"The Rhyhorn seem to really like Serena." Clemont said as he made his explaination brief.
"Hahahah. Huh? Huh?" Serena said as she laughed before stopping and having a flashback when she was riding a Rhyhorn that was doing the same thing earlier to her, she then realized.
"Wait. Maybe it was just playing before." Serena thought as she petted the Rhyhorns, Bonnie made a pout face.
"Hey, that's no fair! I want all those cutie Rhyhorn's to tickle me too!" Bonnie pouted before she started to head to the Rhyhorns.
"Uh. Bonnie!" Alex said as Bonnie went past them.
"Wait, Bonnie! Huh?" Clemont said as he saw Bonnie join in on the fun too.
"Well. She seems to... erm..." Alex said as he notice she was having fun.
"Wow. Look, look at that." Clemont said as he was shocked to see Bonnie enjoying it.
"So cute! Rhyhorn are such sweeties!" Bonnie said as she was being licked and tickled.
A Few Minutes later at Dusk.
"Now we're both a muddy mess." Serena said as she was lightly covered with dirt and mud, from all the mess that happened.
"But it was so fun!" Bonnie said as she was enjoying the Rhyhorns.
"Wah! Whoa! Wah! Whoa!" Ash cried out as the Rhyhorn was doing the same way as Serena tried too stay on.
"Take it easy. Remember, dude!" Alex said as he gave ash a light warning.
"You've almost got it! That's the way!" Clemont said as he was almost getting there.
"Yay! Ride them, Ash!" Bonnie cheered as Ash looked over to the group.
"You got this!" Dedenne cheered on also.
"Gnngh.. Ahh. How am I doing?" Ash said as he was asking Serena, she turned around and started to carefully tell ash.
"Close your mouth! You'll bite your tongue! Keep going!" Serena said as she was making sure Ash would be okay.
"Okay!" Ash said as he listened to Serena's words.
"Be one with the Rhyhorn! Huh?" Serena said as she gasped in realization on what she was doing, her words were her mothers.
Flashback
"Stop talking! You'll bite your tongue!" Grace called to Serena who was in the same predicament as before.
"Okay!" Serena said as she tried to be calm like her mother told her.
"Alright, here we go. Be one with Rhyhorn!" Grace said as she cheered for Serena, Serena knew it all.
End of Flashback
"Grraahhh!" Rhyhorn said as he stopped going all over the place and ran, then he came to a stop.
"Wow! It worked!" Ash said as it actually worked for once.
"He actually got it going." Alex amazingly said as he was stunned.
"Yes! you did it!" Pikachu said as he hopped onto the shoulder of Ash.
"Way to go, Ash!" Clemont exclaimed, he was excited that Ash managed to do it.
"Yeah! Now you're all ready to ride in the race." Bonnie said as she knew Ash was ready.
"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again. And that's what you did." Clemont said as he re-phrased an old saying.
"That's a very old saying though, isn't it normally a good thing?" Alex said as he knew that the old saying was very old.
"Let's do the same thing tomorrow in the race." Ash said as he petted Rhyhorn as soon as he got off.
"Okay, Rhyhorn?" Pikachu asked as Rhyhorn looked at him.
"Sure." Rhyhorn said as he continued to drink his water.
"You're awesome, Rhyhorn." Ash said, thanking it and having a laugh with them.
"Ash tries his hardest at everything he does. Maybe, maybe, I didn't really understand Rhyhorn racing in the first place." Serena thought as the wind blew by her, she was happy Ash was doing it that she wasn't.
Pokemon Center: Night-time
"..." Everyone was in their sleeping beds for tomorrow's race as Serena wasn't. She was in the kitchen baking something with Fennekin watching her.
"What is that?" Fennekin asked as Serena looked at Fennekin and made it more quiet.
"We need to stay quiet." Serena said silently as she was cooking something.
"Got it." Fennekin whispered back in a quiet tone.
"I hope they turn out alright." Serena said as she closed the oven door, baking something good.
Rhyhorn Raceway: Next Morning
"Folks, welcome to the Rhyhorn race's final day, the day when any racer can join in!" The announcer chimed in as fireworks were setting off for the racers.
"Yay, Ash! You're gonna win!" Bonnie cheered as she was cheering for Ash.
"Thanks! I'll do my best!" Ash said as he looked at the four friends.
"Watch us, Ok?" Pikachu said as Ash petted Rhyhorn.
"You heard her, Rhyhorn." Ash said as Rhyhorn got ready.
"Yeah." Rhyhorn said, getting ready.
"Get set, go!" The flagman said as waved the green flag.
"Rrraaarrghh! Gaah." Rhyhorn said as he bounced back and forth before charging ahead.
"Looks like a rocky start-up." Alex said as he knew that was a bad start-up.
"That's not a good start." Bonnie said as she got worried.
"I hope he's okay." Serena worriedly said as she wondered if Ash would be okay.
"I wonder." Clemont said, what will happen?
"..." The Rhyhorn racers charged up ahead as Ash was behind but now he was very confident on coming up ahead.
"Okay, Now it's time to catch up and take the lead! Let's go!" Ash said, determined to get in front.
"Go!" Pikachu said as they charged ahead.
"The Rhyhorn will be here any minute!" Meowth said as the team rocket trio was coming.
"Time to launch our plan." Jessie said as James looked at Inkay.
"Okay, Eh. Inkay?" James said as they got their plan into motion.
"Inkay..." Inkay said as floated over and squirted a camera, losing the tv's view.
"Eh?" Alex noticed as a screen went black.
"Huh?" Bonnie said as she noticed as well.
"What happened?" Serena said as she was confused on the tv camera feed being lost.
"Must be a technical glitch." Clemont said as they were confused on what's going on.
"Uh-oh, We've lost our live feed! Something must've happened on this course, but what?" The announcer said as they lost camera visions left and right.
"Poor Ash." Serena said, being concerned on what's going on.
"We should go investigate!" Clemont said as they should all checked out what is happening.
"Oh." Bonnie said as they all hurried to investigate.
"Pidgey, come with us above our heads. Okay?" Alex said as he got pidgey out of his own Pokeball.
"Got it." Pidgey said as the four of them decided to all investigate up ahead.
"That's weird. Where are the other Rhyhorn?" Ash said as he kept on coming ahead but noticed the racers went missing ahead of them.
"..." Suddenly a net surrounded Ash, keeping him tied up as Rhyhorn and Pikachu kept going ahead before they were in a box.
"Pikachu? Rhyhorn? What's going on here?" Ash asked as he noticed they were trapped, but he was confused.
"Oh, It's the other racers!" Ash said as he turned his head to see what was going on and found the other racers in the same situations.
"Mission Accomplished." Jessie said simply.
"Ah! Who said that?" Ash said as Team Rocket made their motto once again.
"..." The box suddenly made it into a cart, then it showed many other Rhyhorns trapped same into the box.
"All aboard the Rhyhorn Express! Do we have Rhyhorn? Yes!" Meowth said as he got into the cockpit front and started to head off.
"And just what do you think you're gonna do with them?!" Ash asked, what was going on?
"It's such a bore if you had to ask. They'll help us conquer the world, silly." Jessie said as they made it simple.
"And don't forget Pikachu. That will help, too." James added on.
"Since you're all tied up. We bid you bye-bye." Jessie said as they started to move with the cart.
"I want Pikachu back!" Ash demanded, as he tried to free himself.
"Save it, twerp. Got to fly." Jessie said as they continued to leave.
"Nggh. You won't get away with this!" Ash said as suddenly.
"Mud shot!" Bunnelby said as he stopped the cart from continuing. Knocking off team rocket.
"Uh, check please." Meowth said as Bunnelby appeared from the ground beside meowth.
"Hmph!" Bunnelby said as he appeared, surprising meowth.
"Huh, way to go, bunnelby!" Clemont said as he was on the top of a cliffside.
"Thanks!" Bunnelby said as Pidgey was soaring above. Noticing them.
"Nice move, Pidgey!" Alex said as he arrived next to Clemont.
"Looks like we made it in time!" Clemont said
"Alex! Clemont!" Ash said as he was relieved to see his friends come.
"Ash!" Serena called out to Ash.
"You okay?" Bonnie asked as she look at Ash's predicament.
"Serena! Bonnie! Wow! Am I glad to see you!" Ash said as they began to untie Ash, Meowth was mad.
"Why you, Here! Have some-" Meowth said as he jumped from the dirt and stared at Bunnelby and came in with Fury swipes when...
"ROLLOUT!" Dunsparce said as he smashed in the middle of meowth, causing him to be sent flying.
"Gnaaaghhh!" Meowth moaned as he was in the air. Dunsparce bounced off a rolling hill and came to meowth again.
"TAKE THIS!" Dunsparce said as he kicked Meowth with his tail right into the back of the cart.
"I had a bad feeling something was happening, but I never imagined it would be like this." Clemont said as the group banded together.
"Bad is right! It's team rocket!" Bonnie said as she was mad at Team Rocket.
"Little brat, You'll pay for that mouth!" Jessie said as Alex stepped in front of the group.
"Don't come to me now, Meowth is hurt and my buddies are ready for more." Alex said as he pointed out that Meowth was hurt bad, Fennekin tugged Serena's leg.
"Hey, let me do this." Fennekin said as she wanted to do this.
"Huh? Oh, right!" Serena said as she looked at Fennekin, knowing she can battle.
"Serena?" Alex said as he eyed Serena, Serena looked at Fennekin.
"Pikachu and the others are in trouble and you want to help them. That's right?" Serena asked, seeing if Fennekin could help.
"Yeah. Hmph." Fennekin said as she got ready to battle, Alex let them have a go.
"Go, Serena!" Alex said as he allowed Serena to go.
"Fennekin, Ember!" Serena said as Fennekin hopped off her shoulder.
"Ember! Take this!" Fennekin said as she fired a cloud of ember.
"..." Team Rocket felt the burn as they dropped the device and freaked out as they needed it. Clemont was a step ahead however on this.
"For the future of Science!" Clemont said as he grabbed a rock and smashed the device, freeing the Rhyhorns from the cages.
"Hhhaaaghh!" The Rhyhorn scowled as suddenly Team Rocket was in a bad predicament.
"All of a sudden. I don't feel so good." Meowth said as he was sweating with nervousness.
"It feels kind of drafty out here." Jessie said as she and James felt blue in the face.
"You're feeling the winds of wipe out." James said as they were caught in a corner with not a way out.
"Rrr..." Rhyhorn growled as the Rhyhorn ganged up on Team Rocket.
"Hey, relax! Getting upset is bad for our health!" Meowth pleaded, wanting to get out of it.
"Grrraaagrrrhh!" The Rhyhorn said as they all charged at Team Rocket, sending them flying away once again.
"We're blasting off instead!" Team Rocket cried out together as they blasted off once again.
"Oh..." Clemont panted from the move he made.
"Awesome!" Ash said as he went to clemont.
"What a move, Clemont!" Alex said as he amazingly hugged around his neck lightly.
"Thank you everybody." Ash said as he thanked everyone.
"Sure thing." Alex said, glad he was able to help.
"Are you okay, Ash?" Clemont asked, was Ash alright?
"You bet!" Ash said as he was fine.
"We came to see what was going on. The camera's were acting weird." Alex said as he explained what was happening.
"Fennekin. Thanks." Serena said as she picked up Fennekin in her arms.
"Thank you." Fennekin said as they heard a noise. It was Office Jenny on her motorcycle, seeing what was going on.
"Is everybody here alright?" Officer jenny asked, wondering if everyone would be alright.
"Officer Jenny!" Ash said. Seeing the officer again.
"Mm. Yes, were all fine." Clemont said as Bunnelby hopped.
"All right here!" Bunnelby said, a few minutes went by as people checked on the racers and rhyhorn to see if they were okay.
"I need everybody to keep this area clear. I'll be coming to you individually to get your statements later." Officer Jenny said as she was making sure everyone got themselves all fine.
"We did good." Fennekin said as they made a good teamwork.
"I guess that means I can battle, too." Serena thought to herself, she could actually help for once.
Pokemon Center: At Dusk
"Nice to meet you! My name's Ash. This is my buddy, Pikachu!" Ash said as he introduced himself to Grace: Serena's mother that was. On a telephone with a camera.
"I'm Clemont, Hi there! Oh...!" Clemont said as he introduced himself next, bonnie came next.
"My name's Bonnie! This is Dedenne!" Bonnie said as she introduced herself then dedenne
"Hi!" Dedenne happily said.
"Hello, I'm Alex. Nice to meet you!" Alex said as he introduced himself with a bow.
"Take a look. Fennekin." Serena said as she introduced her fennekin to her mom.
"Hello!" Fennekin said happily to her.
"You see, Fennekin's my brand new partner." Serena explained as this was what she did.
"Hello, once again!" Fennekin said, being happy to see serena's mom.
"Hmhm, Nice to meet you. I hope you'll take good care of my daughter." Grace said, asking the group for a favor.
"We will. We will make sure she's okay." Alex said as he promised they will be okay.
"You know what Serena did? She taught me how to ride a Rhyhorn!" Ash said as she told Grace what Serena had taught her.
"She's an experienced racer. Isn't she?" Alex said, being amazed on Serena's skills.
"Ash, you didn't have to tell her that, did you?" Serena asked, pointing at her with a sweatdropped.
"Hey, it's the truth. And there's more! She told me to be one with the Rhyhorn and that helped the most!" Ash said as he explained more, crowding the mic as Alex got annoyed.
"Okay, stop crowding the mic!" Alex exclaimed as he grabbed Ash's backpack.
"Ugh!" Ash groaned as he got dragged back.
"Mom, guess what!? You see, I've decided I'm gonna travel with Ash and all of his friends! Isn't that the best?" Serena said as she declared what she wanted to do for now, Grace thought about it but smiled for her.
"Really? That's great. Have a good time!" Grace said as she allowed Serena to go on ahead.
"Hm? Mom?" Serena said as she was shocked to hear what her mom said.
"I mean it. It will be a wonderful experience for you. I'm sure." Grace said as she knew she could gain experience from the adventures she had.
"Hmm, thank you." Serena said with a smile.
"Sorry I took so long!" Serena said as she stepped down from the Pokemon Center steps outside.
"What's the case, Serena?" Alex asked as she smiled.
"I'm going with you! Isn't that great?!" Serena said as she was in on the adventures.
"Yeah, it sure is." Ash said as Serena smiled.
"Alrighty!" Pikachu said as they were glad Serena could come.
"The more, the merrier they would say." Alex said as he was glad it happened.
"We're going to have so many fun adventures!" Clemont exclaimed, wanting more Adventures together with them.
"And we'll be best friends!" Bonnie said, making sure they would be friends.
"Best friends till the end!" Dedenne exclaimed on Bonnie's head.
"We sure will! Oh yeah! Ash! Here, for you." Serena said as she got a bag out, giving it to ash.
"Huh? What's this?" Ash said as he lightly took it.
"It's a bag. But..." Alex processed as Ash lightly opened the bag.
"Whoa! Cookies! They look awesome!" Ash said as he saw what was inside of them: Cookies!
"It's a gift, for all your hard work and also a thank you for when we were little." Serena said as she gave the gift as Ash slowly ate the cookies. Serena sweatdropped as she felt like this was being a waste.
"Aw, why just ash?" Bonnie moaned, she wanted some Cookies too.
"No fair, I want some cookie's too you know." Alex
"Oh. Sorry." Ash said as there was barely any left.
"ASH!" Alex shouted as Ash ignored him, but when he did...
"Nom!" Ash said as he then began to snap out of it and started coughing.
"You're eating way to fast." Clemont explained as he knew what Ash was doing.
"Hmmph." Serena muttered but she smiled.
"Well, that is just great lesson for you." Alex said, knowing Serena shouldn't feed Ash.
"Don't worry! I made some for everyone!" Serena said as she gave everyone some cookies.
"Yippee!" Bonnie cheered as Bonnie took a bag from her happily.
"Wow, Thank you very much!" Clemont said as he was glad Serena could offer some.
"That's so kind, Thanks so much. Serena!" Alex said as he took the last one. Now, our heroes head onward!
After doing his best at the Rhyhorn Race, our heroes enjoy a sweet reward for their efforts. While new adventures with new friends await as the journey continues within the Kalos Region!

What's this? Alex is back?! Yes and No. Yes cause I am wanting to work on it, No it's still going to back on hiatus in the future in the summer due to me going to have a Summer Part time job. So I will get future episodes done. But homework first before I do chapters / episodes of the XY series. Sorry fellas. Going to be no Kalos Quest or XYZ though this time since one episode is best at a time.
