When the trial came, Charlie and Vaggie gathered in the court along with every higher archangel gathering to hear Charlie's idea. Emily and Sera sat in the higher seats, looking down at the entire court. Charlie and Vaggie's seats were on the floor while the rest of the court members sat on the balconies. But when Charlie saw Adam strutting into court, she groaned as he sat in his seat next to Lute with a smirk. "Saw that you went to my manager. Low blow there, Karen!" Adam shouted at Charlie.
Sera then announced to the court that they were gathered here to determine whether or not a soul in Hell could be redeemed into Heaven using the Hazbin Hotel built by Charlie. She then gave Charlie the chance to speak her side of the argument. Charlie started with a dictionary reference but Adam called her out on that. Sera asked her for no more dictionary references which put her in a bind. Then Charlie told the court that she and Vaggie already had a few patrons. Adam somehow knew about Angel and his porn videos but he thinks that Angel wasn't worthy.
"And you know that?" Charlie questioned Adam.
"Of course I do. And just who are the other guests?" Adam asked with a grin.
"Andy Grin and Victoria Valentine," Charlie answered.
"More porn demons? Oh yeah, I'm sure they are worthy." Adam said, sarcastically.
"Tori isn't a porn demon. She's a good soul. And if you seem so sure, what do you think it takes to get into Heaven?" Charlie questioned Adam.
That caused Adam to stutter and think of an answer. The court waited for Adam to lay out the rules for how a soul could get into Heaven. He took out a piece of paper and quill then wrote down what a soul needs to do to get into Heaven. He made the list appear in front of Vaggie who read the list out aloud, "Act selfless, don't steal, stick it to the man. Are you fucking serious?"
"Uh, yeah, sure got me here, didn't it?" Adam stated.
Sera did back up Adam's claim, saying that he was indeed the first soul to enter the Pearly Gates. Charlie confidently said that Angel and Victoria are doing all of those things right now. Adam wanted the court to see it for themselves so with a snap of his fingers, a giant crystal ball appeared in the middle of the courtroom. Charlie got up from her seat and stood in the middle of the courtroom, ready to show the angels everything. "Your Honors, may I present exhibit A," Charlie stated.
Down in Hell, Molly, Angel, Arackniss, Monty, and Pentious were at a local bar for their sibling's night out. Molly knew that Angel needed this night out after his rough day with Valentino. Monty tried to offer to buy both Arackniss and Pentious a drink. But Arackniss refused Monty's offer but Pentious accepted Monty's offer. "Finally glad I got you to come Angie?" Molly asked her twin.
"Ok, ok, I'll admit, I needed this. But I'm paying for drinks, Molls. I'd love to get Nissy drunk singing again like our previous hangouts." Angel said, smirking at Arackniss.
"Oh you're one to talk, Mr. Lightweight. You happened to get drunk after two drinks." Arackniss said to annoy his younger brother.
"Jokes on you Nissy, my drink intake has improved a lot down here in Hell." Angel spoke, "And a good thing too, I need a drink after today. You know, Val, he's into this waterboarding shit now, I don't know, it's a kink."
"Angie, no more Val talk. This is our night. Besides, that bratty moth wouldn't dare to come to this place. So we have all night." Molly stated.
Monty handed Pentious his drink and he even got a Wild Pegages for Arackniss, just to make peace with him. Arackniss just ignored Monty and took the drink. Angel liked spending time with his siblings but he didn't want to go too wild. He paid for more drinks for himself, Molly, Arackniss, Pentious, and Monty. "Let's do this!" Angel exclaimed.
But Heaven watched the scene at the bar with Angel and his siblings. Adam complained that Angel chose a night of debauchery, claiming that he wasn't worthy of being in Heaven. Charlie immediately jumped in, "Are you really telling me you've never had a drink with friends or siblings at the end of a hard day?" Charlie asked.
"Uh, we don't have hard days. It's fucking Heaven, bitch!" Adam exclaimed.
Vaggie made an excuse and left the courtroom, not wanting to give in to Adam's game. Charlie bit back a growl; she then turned to the court that Angel was a good demon. But Sera wasn't convinced; Charlie then suggested that they watch Victoria to prove that she is worthy of being in Heaven. Sera wasn't sure but Emily was willing to give Victoria a chance. Sera and the court agreed to see Victoria do everything on the list. The crystal ball switched the footage over to a nightclub where Kara's group was, having a fun night.
Meanwhile, Kara, Cherri, Husk, Victoria, Niffty, and Andy were at a sex club called, Consent for their night out. Andy had to get Niffty to stop sweeping the club floor. Victoria was still getting used to sex clubs but with her being a virgin, it was making her fur crawl. Cherri paid for everyone's drinks including Kara's. Even though Kara was willing to pay, Cherri wanted her to relax and have a good time. Victoria avoided having any alcoholic drinks and requested water to replace the shots that Cherri bought her. Husk stayed beside Victoria to keep away any creeps that tried anything.
Cherri bought everyone another round of shots which was round twelve. This time, Husk handed one to Victoria, "I'm not so sure about this." Victoria said.
"It's only one drink. Trust me." Husk said.
Victoria took a breath and then gulped down the drink in one go. It stung the inside of her mouth but she did drink it. Niffty went for another drink but Victoria quickly grabbed the glass from Niffty, she could tell that Nifty was too drunk. "You're done here," Victoria stated as she handed the drink to Husk.
"Oh come on. She can handle a little more." Cherri complained.
"Cher. Niffty's like ten pounds soaking wet…" Kara said but she was cut off when she noticed Nifty had disappeared.
Victoria saw Niffty over by another table, throwing a group of very angry sinners' drinks into a garbage bag. Kara made a mental note to never give Niffty alcohol. Victoria quickly started doing damage control; she handed the sinners some cash to replace their drinks then she ran off to find Niffty. She found Nifty in a supply closet grabbing all the cleaning solutions. Kara saw this and tried to go help but Cherri told her that Victoria's got it. "Cherri. Niffty isn't used to this scene. The last thing I want is for her to end up in the gutter like I used to be." Kara stated.
Before Niffty could grab the bottle of bleach, Victoria picked Niffty up to stop her. "You can't steal, Niff. Why are you being such a mess?!" she screamed.
Next thing she knew, Niffty was bawling her eye out like a baby after being called a mess. Victoria regretted yelling at Niffty and tried to calm her down. Then she got an idea from looking at Husk. "Hey, Niffty. You wanna play with the grumpy kitty?" Victoria asked NIffty.
NIffty sniffed then she answered, yes. Victoria took Niffty over to where Husk was sitting and drinking. Niffty started climbing onto Husk, petting and playing with his face and wings. "Tori? Really?" Husk complained.
"Sorry. She's completely wasted and this was the only way to calm her down. Just go with it." Victoria said.
Unfortunately, the night was going to get a little worse. Andy spotted Valentino from the corner of his eye. Valentino was sitting in a lounge area, chatting it up with a few female sinners. He started to panic and then he turned to the others, asking if they could leave. But Niffty had other ideas. She ran towards Valentino with a crazy look in her eye. Without thinking, Andy ran after Niffty before Valentino could see him. He pushed his way through the dancing crowd and he managed to get Niffty but he was close to Valentino now. Valentino smirked seeing one of his old stars.
"Andy Grin? What a surprise. You disappeared and not even a phone call." Valentino said, "Miss having your daily dick dose?"
"Funny. I forgot to laugh." Andy said, sarcastically.
Valentino then eyed Niffty, "Who's this chiquita? You bringing me fresh meat?"
Niffty tried to bite Valentino, saying that she wanted a taste of him. "Fuck off, Val," Andy muttered.
Valentino heard Andy say that; he wanted him to say it again. "I might have put up with your bullshit, but you ain't fucking with any of my friends!" Andy exclaimed.
Valentino stood up, a menacing look in his eyes, "You forget who you're talking to?" Valentino then created a chain from his cigarette smoke that wrapped onto Andy's wrist. "I own you, bitch."
Andy was pulled closer to Valentino as he revealed Andy's soul contract but Andy wasn't scared of him anymore. "You only own me in the studio just like all the other deals you made with others. But out here, I'm not yours, I'm free to do whatever I desire." Andy said, confidently. "Now once again, fuck off!"
Valentino then slapped Andy across the face hard enough to knock him to the floor, his mouth bled a little from the slap. Valentino was about to grab Andy but Kara marched up to him and grabbed his arm. "Back off, Val! Andy is under my protection!" she screamed.
Valentino held up Andy's contract again but this time, Kara grabbed the contract and ripped it in two right in front of him. "Come near him again and I'll tear out your wings." Kara threatened.
Valentino walked away but not before Niffty ripped off a piece of Val's coat fluff for her collection. Andy was baffled by Kara's actions; she told Andy that he deserved to be free from Valentino plus, it was long overdue for Valentino to be put in his place. Victoria went to grab another drink but that was when disaster struck again. She bumped into her sister, Aphrodite who was wearing a long red dress that was decorated with hearts. Aphrodite smirked seeing her twin at a sex club. "Well, well, look what the trash rolled in." she said.
"Aphrodite…"
"I heard you came to Val's studio. Trying to steal my spotlight? Oh, wait, you're just the trash that can never be anything other than a gutless, talentless, nobody." Aphrodite started laughing.
Victoria had enough of her sister; something inside her snapped. She then grabbed her drink in her hand and then threw the entire drink onto Aphrodite's clothes. The entire club went silent after hearing Aphrodite scream.
Victoria:
No more hiding behind your façade

In Heaven, everyone in court saw all that happened down in the club. Charlie was proud of Victoria for taking a stand against her sister. Even Vaggie was proud of her along with Andy and his courage against Valentino. She then told the court that Victoria had done everything on Adam's checklist. Victoria was selfless, she stopped Niffty from stealing and Victoria stuck it to her sister. Adam was looking nervous in front of the court but it disappeared quickly. "Then, then why isn't she here then?" Adam asked.
"Yeah. Why isn't she here?" Emily questioned.
The court muttered among themselves with this while Sera looked like she was hiding something. Charlie realized that none of them knew what got someone into Heaven in the first place. Sera shut down any further questions, claiming that they know when a soul arrives in Heaven after passing judgment. Emily looked over the list again and even she could tell that something was off.
Emily:
But she was right, Sera
She showed us a soul can improve
They saw the light, Sera
Checked all the boxes that you said would
Prove a person deserves a second chance
Now we turn our backs, no second glance?
Sera:
It's not as simple as you think
Not everything is spelled in ink
Charlie was angry with Sera. Vaggie tried to get Charlie to keep her cool but she didn't want to.
Charlie:

Charlie:

That just because someone is dead, it doesn't
Charlie had the crystal ball show more of Victoria and Andy as possible redeemable souls.
Mean they can't resolve to change their ways

Lute and Adam on the other hand were practically rubbing this failure in Charlie's face.

"Adam," Sera warned him. Emily and all the other angels were curious to hear this.
Come down and exterminate you
The entire courtroom was speechless. The crystal orb presented the sinners being burned in Hell but there were also exorcists killing sinners. Emily was horrified, "Wait!"
"Shit." Adam cursed when he saw what he did.
Emily flew down to the court floor, completely horrified.
Emily:
What are you saying? Let me get this straight
You go down there and kill those poor souls?
Charlie:
You didn't know?
Adam:
Whoops.
Lute:
Guess the cat's out of the bag
Adam:
What's the big deal?
Emily turned to Sera for answers.
Emily:
Sera, tell me that you didn't know
Sera:
I thought, since I'm older
It's my load to shoulder
Emily:

Sera flew down from her seat, claiming that this was a hard decision.
Sera:
You have to listen, it was such a hard decision
I wanted to save you, the anguish it takes to
Sera took Emily's hands and looked at her thinking that this was the right thing to do. The fire from the crystal ball reflected in Sera's eyes.

Emily was angry with Sera. She pulled away from Sera and let out all her anger for the court to see.
Emily:

Both Charlie and Emily jumped on top of the crystal ball to address all of the angels.

Charlie looked over at Vaggie but Adam and Lute circled Vaggie.

Look at them fighting, they're at each other's throats

Adam pulled Vaggie near the crystal ball and then the ball showed Vaggie as one of the exorcists. Charlie was completely crushed that Vaggie had lied to her. To make things worse, Sera claimed that there was no evidence that souls in Hell could be redeemed. And now Adam planned to attack the hotel first in the extermination. He sent Vaggie and Charlie back down to Hell but Emily still had hope that she could figure something out.
