OMNISCIENT TEACHER VIEWPOINT

CHAPTER 2

[The Constellation 'Demon King of Salvation' is looking at you.]

Even when the feathers coming off from his wings looked divine, Dokja had other pressing concerns.

The pained look on their faces told Dokja some details of his existence had been carried over, beings who ascended into Constellation could cause damage to others around them by simply being there.

Rin's shaking body.

Yuuka's shortness of breath.

Hasumi, Mari and Suzume's shock and trembling shoulders.

The bewildered look in Chinatsu's eyes.

They're in clear pain while their faces show an expression where fear and awe are mixed, it was similar to how he first encountered the very same constellations.

'I got to do something quick, how do I turn this off.' putting his hands off from the stone tablet Dokja felt a strange jolt running through his body that trails into the Shittim Chest and his phone.

'Those two items?!'

Taking it out, Dokja saw the two shared the same dark screen with a small 'S' logo appearing in the middle, but the two screens quickly flashed to show two menus with drastically differing functions.

The Shittim Chest changed into a really basic chat space with black background and white text.

Dokja's phone showed a menu screen in which he quickly entered to do some critical adjustment.

[Turn off the modifier of 'Demon King of Salvation'? Yes/No]

'Yes! Why is it even asking for confirmation?!'

Dokja's wings shrunk and gradually disappears, with it the look on the representatives changed as they could breathe with ease and not being damaged because of his presence.

But the representative and the General Studen Council quickly turned their attention to him, if gazes could burn then Dokja would've turned into ashes instantly.

"S-Sensei, who are you really?..." Yuuka asked weakly, putting both her hands on her knees yet her eyes are looking at the man in white coat intensely.

"Those wings, without any presence of a halo, Sensei are you perhaps related in some way to Trinity?"

"No he isn't, he has horns! Perhaps are you related to the Gehenna's ancient ancestry?"

The questions changed into a shouting match between

The questions are being thrown relentlessly but Rin took her chance to step in and quickly guide all the parties involved into a meeting room, presumably for further questioning.

Dokja couldn't help but to worry about how he would tackle their questions, for all he knew he just raised a spotlight unto himself for all the wrong reasons, but he quickly found out that the matter turned into creating deals with each of the representatives rather than interrogation.

But a few minutes passed and Dokja would feel better if it was an interrogation instead.

He could swear that Yuuka's gaze was like a laser beam with the same intensity of the sun as she asked her questions especially about whether he was related to the power plant being downed.

Hasumi kept her tone formal but her questions are clearly being focused on his origins, at the same time Mari looked at Dokja as if he was an actual angel.

Chinatsu's tone was more wary, similar to Hasumi she wanted to know about Dokja's identity.

Rin thought about it during the questioning process and came up with a solution for all the parties, it is about a written agreement that each school will have a time to do diagnostics on the teacher. and all will take place within the Schale building with General Student Council member being present.

'This way Rin actually secured a situation where the General Student Council could have the information from each side instantly.'

'She's scary in her own way.' Dokja thought as he gave his signature.

'Each of their diplomacy feels as if they're holding a quill on one hand and a gun on the other.'

'Well they could quickly hold me at gunpoint if they wanted to…'

'My old office didn't even hold a candle to this…'

Dokja entered his office after the representative left the Schale office, he sighed while taking out his phone and the Shittim Chest.

His thoughts are still fixated on the phenomena from earlier…

He just couldn't shake his thoughts away from it.

"Now."

Dokja's eyes are full of questions.

"What Should I Do About the Two of you." He looked at the two black screen on his phone and the Shittim Chest tablet.

Then as if it was hearing Dokja's words the screen typed his words perfectly before giving its own response in text and audio.

"Authentication process is still unfinished, Sensei. Please put your finger in the middle of the box to finish it." A small box appears in the middle of the screen, coinciding with the words being spoken.

Holding his finger out just above the box, Dokja stopped and asked, "Before I do so, who are you exactly?"

"I'm Shittim Chest's operating system and your personal assistant."

"Do you have a name?"

"..."

Noticing her silence Dokja jokingly let out a comment, "Hello, operating system..."

"I-It's Arona" Her tone changed into one that befits a gullible middle high school girl.

"Arona, huh…" Dokja stopped for a moment and remembered that the Shittim Chest looked wholly different in features and abilities, and why did it suddenly have the ability to access his phone that was linked to his former unique status as a 'Reader'.

"Yes, Sensei…"

"..."

There's a dead air in between the two respectively divine bodies and the silence is suffocating for Dokja.

"Were you the one who accessed the Shittim Chest, my phone and some portion of 'me'?"

"Yes, you are correct." Arona's bubbly voice trembled a bit, "The system is acting according to who accessed the Shittim Chest. If one who accessed it excels in strategic movements and tactics, then it will create a system where recruiting personnel and showing their strategic points are being put at the utmost front."

Dokja was at a loss for words.

Then Arona continued with, "In short, the interface of the Shittim Chest was tailored to suit your needs."

"And you did it by…"

"Showing Sensei's true form, to see Sensei in both weakest and strongest so a variable could be collected, thus creating a system where you could choose and fine tune your abilities."

!

The man really tried his hardest to hide his surprise.

'That's just plain cheating!' Dokja thought for a moment then understanding that converting all of his existence into a system that could be used in Kivotos must be taxing for the living operating system, taking a moment to breathe deeply Dokja replied lightly with, "Tell me first if you're going to do something like that again, okay?"

"I will remember that, Sensei."

"Think it for you as well, you were having a hard time because the process of transferring and converting my existence into a system took a toll on you, right?"

"I'm not mad, just think of yourself first because I'm also responsible for you, am I not?"

"Ehehe! Thank you, Sensei!"

Somehow Dokja could pick up the increasing presence of cheerful tone in her reply while noticing he sounded rather warm while giving his response.

Whether it was on his own volition or not, the 'teacher'-like response was a welcomed one for him.

It was the right note to leave their conversation.

After putting the Shittim Chest on his table and connecting it to a keyboard module Dokja moved on to put a blackboard in front of it, purposefully leaving it there so Arona could record and add her own thoughts for the soon to be all nighter work that he'll about to do.

He's trying to create a crazy wall similar to how investigators laying out their list of suspects and clues in an attempt to link them to each other, tracing back his visions and remembering the details that he saw when he was still living inside the 'last train'. Dokja broke down his memories according to the schools they're related, with Arona pulling out the data about the major schools in Kivotos along with their respective histories and geopolitics records, Dokja was assured that there are ways to prevent the tragedy that he saw.

But there's a theme to it.

It requires him to be present in each scenario and act as a guiding figure for these schools, essentially filling the role of a teacher.

'That's probably why she gave the position of a teacher along with a sizeable authority.' Dokja thought, taking off his coat and hanging it, a serious look made its way into his face along with a thought, 'There's something happening here, I just can't put my finger around it yet…'

Deeply thinking about the city's situation that looked similar to a political struggle straight out of a movie, Dokja continues to sort out the files about the perilous alliance rife with political backstabbing that leads to the formation of Trinity General School, while on the other end of the scale there was Gehenna Academy that had tumultuous relationship with Trinity.

"These two were stuck in conflict for way too long… a sudden disturbance could lead to an all out war…" Dokja sighed, speaking out his thoughts, "That's where the long lost Arius Academy came into play, better make a separate and 'urgent' note about it, whoever was in charge inside it was the one who desired conflict the most."

Moving on to Millennium, Dokja's thoughts on it were mixed as he found that it was the latest to rose into power because of their scientific exploits and access to their abandoned ruins filled with technologies lost to time.

"Tapping into the unknown would also mean they're undeniably paranoid, it could lead to the ones in command for Millennium becoming overly cautious and preemptively doing things without any actionable proof…" Dokja sighed again, "It's basically Trinity with extra steps and another problem that was bound to rise from the old city ruins…"

Taking a break from his investigation work, Dokja slipped into his habits back when he was working at a game company, spinning around on his office seat, drinking a cup of coffee and lightly reading up on information provided by Arona.

It was a simple thing to do but it felt refreshing for him to feel like a 'human' again and safter his short break, Dokja turned to his assistant, "Arona, I separated the most dire problems into their own categories, do you have that on record?"

"Yes, Sensei! The Eden treaty between Gehenna Academy and Trinity General School.

"Then, can you get a certain reading from certain places in the area I pointed out?"

"There are movements, Should I notify the security forces in each area? The old ruins of Trinity and the ruins inside Millennium were mostly abandoned, Sensei."

"No we have to hold out for now, it won't do us any good to stand out right away. How about those letters of request, did you send them to Hyakkiyako and Millennium?"

"I have, Millennium's Engineering Department should send their response soon."

"They'll reply as soon as they get the request, don't worry. How about Hyakkiyakou?"

"There's no response coming from them yet."

"It'll be tomorrow, they couldn't afford to ignore the contents of the letter."

"Sensei, how could you be so sure?"

"Because I just know the thing that piqued both of their interest, albeit vague they couldn't ignore the mention of 'prophet' and applying 'railgun' technology outside the usual conventions."

"Then you must be good at understanding others, Sensei."

"I'm actually not…"

Dokja smiled.

"I'm just good at reading in general." The teacher gave a calm sounding reply and with stifled laughter he picked a folder which contained the very first 'scenario' that he needed to tackle first.

He once again turns to his assistant, raising the folder to tell her of his choice of school that he wanted to visit.

"Arona, could you handle the logistical order and delivery? I need all of these to be delivered by tomorrow and label it as a priority list for the General Student Council."

"Logistical support? Like ammunition and supplies?"

"Yeah, can you do it?"

"I definitely can, where do I send them, Sensei?"

There's a moment where Dokja's eyes sharpened before he gave his answer.

He's bracing himself for the first 'scenario'.

Then he opened his lips.

"Abydos High School."

"Hmm… So you're saying the figure in Seia's last prophetic dream has arrived?" A lone girl asked while sipping her tea.

The assistant who shared the information nodded politely, giving her answer while addressing her in a polite manner.

"And the vice commander of the Justice Task Force saw him? The same goes to the Vigilante leader and even with a Sisterhood member who's present there?" The girl sighed. "This is bothersome, with the treaty right around the corner I can't afford a wildcard showing up from nowhere… And to think that he's a part of Schale no less…"

She paused to think while her fingers danced on the edges of a teacup.

"A figure who has similar physical traits as Eden's original residents described in the old teachings… Oh my, the Sisterhood must be having the time of their life because of this." She voiced her thoughts while laughing weakly. "But what would they think if this person also has similar traits with Gehenna's 72 demon lords."

A calculating gaze made itself present as she moved her hand to hold a quill and start to write a letter.

"One could only wonder…"

The girl sitting on the top of Trinity's Tea Party building looked to the distance with melancholy in her eyes.

Chinatsu called out to Gehenna's Prefect Team leader as she left quickly after she shared her findings. "H-Head prefect, I just finished the explanation?!"

"I know, this is somewhat bothersome… Don't tell the president or Ako of this detail, at least until I tell them personally." She did not stop, the pace of her steps becoming faster and faster.

"Then where are you going, did you have another meeting after this?"

"No."

"...Head Prefect?"

She cleared her throat and gave a clear response to Chinatsu, "Clear all my appointments. I need to meet the new teacher of Schale as soon as possible."

["Sensei, is it really okay to leave so early in the morning?"]

Using thought communication, Arona gave direction to Dokja who's walking in haste, trying to leave the Schale building as fast as possible.

["I have to, it's a precaution…"]

'Because…' Dokja glanced up to the distance and saw several notices flared up before him.

[Trinity's Justice Task Force members are watching you.]

[Gehenna's Intelligence Division members are watching you.]

[Millennium's C&C members are watching you.]

'Ah… Did I just become Kivotos's most wanted? In less than a day?!' Dokja sighed weakly before calling out to Arona, ["Arona, this building has a garage, right?"]

["Correct, Sensei. But nothing has been moved there, do you have something to do there?"]

["Yes, something to get to Abydos city as soon as possible."]

Reaching the underground garage Dokja checked his surroundings before reaching into his white coat.

The reason was simple, a sizable place is required to use this item properly.

SS grade item. The Ferrarghini.

'It'll be fine to do this… I'll say that this is a personal property of mine…'

'I hope the tax system in Kivotos is forgiving…'

Suddenly a roar of an engine filled the underground parking space of the Schale building.

Then whoever was sent to watch Schale's teacher was in for a surprise as a pair of headlights shone the dimly lit streets of Kivotos.

All of a sudden a yellow mid engine sports car shoots into the street, leaving the watchers speechless.

Looking at the disappearing city behind the rear mirror, Dokja laughed faintly.

'Thank you Mass Production Maker, the item you gave me really helped!'

Reaching the ruined city of Abydos was all but simple, but navigating it was harder than expected for Dokja as he drove himself around the city until he stopped at a deserted bus stop and stepped out from the car, trying his best to make the car looked as if it was ran out of gas.

'Normal cars should be out of gas by now… Good, let's make it more believable.' Dokja thought and looked back at the clear tire marks that he left all across the abandoned city.

'They're probably not expecting any visitors but I have to make something that will catch those two's attention.'

'It looked desperate enough, it really looked like tracks left by someone who genuinely lost and I have to look the part as well.' The man in white coat said to himself while patting his coat and shirt with sand to make himself look more ragged.

He took a deep breath and dropped his body down with a final thought.

'This is embarrassing… I hope this coat is machine washable.'

The heat was no joke, it was barely twenty minutes but the burning desert heat really made Dokja regret that he even patted himself with sand earlier, because the sweat already made him twenty times more miserable even without all the 'I got to make myself look pitiable' act.

But all his preparation soon bore its fruit as a girl with a small frame and long pink hair walked her way into the residential area to check him.

"Uheee~ What do we have here?" The girl spoke while using the butt of her shotgun to poke Dokja's body.

The embarrassment is hard to bear for the supposed teacher. 'Bear with it, she should notice the weird tracks in the sands as well…'

Right as he finished thinking he could hear the sound of wheels coming in closer, another person just arrived and quickly greeted the pink haired girl by saying, "Nn… Hoshino-senpai, what's going on?"

"Ahaha… Shiroko-chan, you came at just the right time, This Oji-san just found something interesting."

'It's embarrassing but let's see whether this works…' Dokja pondered to himself then weakly muttered, "W-Water…"

He even added weak coughs in between to get their attention.

It was a performance where Dokja paid it with his pride.

"Whoever this is, he must be lost." Shiroko said, turning to Hoshino while taking her bottled drink out.

Hoshino sighed and responded, "Well Abydos city used to be famous as a city-wide maze… No wonder."

"Nn… There's no helping it then…" Shiroko took a step closer towards Dokja.

"Shiroko? What do you have in mind?"

"Can you hold on to my bike until we reach school, Hoshino-senpai?"

"Uehee… Did you think of something?"

" I have an idea."

Suddenly Dokja could feel his body being lifted up by the wolf eared girl, shortly after he found himself being carried on her shoulders like a sack of potatoes.

His pride be damned, for all he knew it was being kicked and spat on.

But it was a cheap price to pay for him to personally see the ones who could save and destroy Kivotos.

Dokja believed that all students in Kivotos are sharing a small piece of divinity, proof of being is the halos hovering above their heads, but some of them is able to carry more than just a small portion, they could be the very avatar of a divine entity who could call their power under certain criteria.

And in the city of Abydos, in a city named after an ancient city where ancient gods reside, Dokja just met two of them.

Sunaookami Shiroko. Who could call and channel Anubis out of hopelessness.

Takanashi Hoshino. The slumbering avatar who he highly believed to be able to call upon Horus.

Dokja saw it in the memories, he saw how despair broke the wolf eared girl and in that moment of weakness another entity descended and used her body to call upon Anubis, one of the gods of death.

On the other hand Hoshino's eyes and halo were the very proof that she could call Horus.

'The moon in one eye and the sun in the other'

That was the passage used to describe Horus and the very condition is present in Hoshino's eyes.

With that a bitter thought surfaced on Dokja's mind…

'Fate was not kind to them.'

'I didn't know that something similar to an outer god is trying to claim this place for itself…'

Dokja finally had a moment to catch his breath, he drank a couple glass of water and sat inside a decent looking room on the seemingly abandoned large school complex that looked half swallowed by the desert.

In front of him three students are standing still as if they were in a trance, Dokja took the time to read the names written on their IDs.

Kuromi Serika.

Okusora Ayane.

Izayoi Nonomi.

'They're also the key reason why Shiroko was so broken inside those memories' Dokja thought to himself before pausing once noticing that the three students were looking at him and kept silent for a long time.

Unknown to Dokja, they're frozen because of a shock…

That was the case until Shiroko calmly entered the room like anything was normal.

The three of them snapped.

"S-Shiroko senpai Finally did it… S-She became a criminal!"

"Shiroko-chan, did you kidnap him?!"

"C-Calm down, we have to sort it out first!"

The three other students in front of him are in the middle of a crisis, questioning whether their wolf eared schoolmate is actually involved in criminal activity.

Shiroko cut the sentiment short by saying, "He's actually the one who wanted to visit the school."

"Visit the school?" Nonomi asked with a wondering look.

"Then could you introduce yourself?" Ayane asked.

Noticing the formal tone and the anticipation coming from the girl with short dark hair, Dokja showed his Schale ID for the girls to see.

"Kim Dokja, I'm here on behalf of Schale." Dokja introduced himself and handed a tablet to the short haired girl, "Your request of help has been approved, I'll need your school council's signature to finalize this transfer."

"T-This…"

!

Ayane's look turned into a pure shock and the same thing happened when Serika and Nonomi read the contents inside the document, Ayane shouted, "S-Serika! C-Call Hoshino-senpai!"

"On it!"

The twintail girl nodded and ran outside the room.

Crashing sounds could be heard from somewhere inside the building and before long Serika is back and carrying the aforementioned senior on her shoulders.

"Uhee… Why are you calling me so soon, Ayane-chan… Serika-chan I can walk just fine." Hoshino replied with a sleepy tone.

"Senpai, you need to read and sign that right now."

"Hmm…" Hoshino read the contents that shows that the request for ammunition and supplies has been approved by a central governing body, Dokja couldn't wrap his fingers around it yet but the look on Hoshino's face changed into one of wonder and doubt that were thinly veiled by a smile.

It was as if she had a deep sense of distrust for anyone who came from the central governing body in Kivotos, looking at the Abydos was in, the reason was obvious.

'She accepted that Abydos had been abandoned by the ones who saw Abydos's decline as a way to gain more power in Kivotos's political stage.'

Dokja couldn't help but smile bitterly at said notion.

'But I got to convince them… If everything goes according to plan then all parties should meet each other by now…'

Suddenly a series of explosions erupted in the distance, causing the five students to be alerted as they reached for their respective firearms.

'That's the cue I'm waiting for!'

Dokja waits for this exact moment to say, "Those are probably Kata-Kata gang clashing with those who followed me here."

"P-Pardon?" The students asked in unison.

"Well I noticed that I was being followed and I saw it as an opportunity to solve your gang related problem."

Dokja showed his phone to the students, it was linked to the dashcam he installed on the car that he left behind, "I stalled them by leaving many trails inside the abandoned parts of the city, long enough for your supply convoy to make their way here… By that point They'll bound to follow it while the Kata-Kata gang would surely have taken notice of both them and the convoy."

A smile starts to form on his face.

"They're bound to meet and clash with each other, which means I just strike two birds with one stone…"

This is a show for Dokja and the Abydos students are meant to be the audience.

He intended to show that he is cunning in his tactics and not afraid to use underhanded tactics when he's facing ploys orchestrated by the city's larger faction.

The motive behind such a performance was simple.

He couldn't just gain their trust in one day so he just showed that he'd be useful and instrumental for their fight in Abydos.

"Play dirty games and you get dirt kicked into your eyes in return." The teacher in white coat said with a smile, the students responded with a mixed look, each and everyone of them seemed to have their own opinion of him.

'I hope that my impression was not entirely negative.'

'Let's see whether I was seen favorably by them…'

Dokja turned his gaze to the students and focused on each and everyone of them, then several notices popped up in front of him to read.

[Takanashi Hoshino, is slightly doubtful of you.]

[Izayoi Nonomi, is curious about your intent.]

[Okusora Ayane, is interested in your plans.]

[Kuromi Serika, is doubting your sincerity.]

[Sunaookami Shiroko, is invested in you.]

Dokja almost smiled but quickly smashed his brakes after reading the last notice.

'What now?!'

'Pause!'

'What was that last one?!'

.

..

[Sunaookami Shiroko, is deeply invested in you.]

'More than anything, every school in Kivotos needs an ethics teacher, damn it.' The newly appointed teacher felt an urge to massage the bridge of his nose.

'This is an utter mess…'

'Let's just hope somewhere far from here, that certain Eden resident is not watching this.'
