Two days later...

Maya has been feeling more and more content with her life. Even though the periods where she comes down from drinking have been getting more and more hard to deal with, she still felt as if alcohol gave her happiness and confidence. Hell, she started to willingly have small talk with people at school, and her social boundaries became thinner and thinner. It was like paradise to her.

At school, during lunchtime, she approached Coco and Mymy as they set outside.

"Hey, Coco! Hey, Mymy!", She said as she sat down with them.

"Hey, Maya!", Both replied in unison.

"So, what are the plans after school?", Maya asked.

"Oh, me and Mymy thinking of playing Monopoly this evening. Would you like to join us?", Coco asked.

"Well, I'd normally say no, but, you know what? Sure."

"Wow! That's nice to hear, Maya! I think you'll love it!"

Mymy, meanwhile, started looking around to see if Vera's nearby. So far, no sign of her anywhere. She had already practiced several lines in her mirror over the past two days to hopefully convince Vera to have a deal with her, and was reciting them in her head while Vera did not show up.

"So, Mymy!" Maya suddenly began.

"Huh?", Mymy asked as Maya took her by surprise.

"What would you like to do after the game?"

"Oh... I don't know, some coffee time, I guess?"

"Great idea!", Coco said. "I'll try to brew mom's recipe. It's delicious!"

Mymy then noticed something on the corner of her eye. She looked next to her. It's Vera! She got up and said:

"Uh, guys, I have to go to the bathroom real quick! I swear it won't take long!"

"Go ahead, Mymy.", Maya replied. "We'll be waiting here for you."

Mymy then sprinted to the parking lot, and there Vera was, next to her car, smoking a cig, and using her phone. Mymy slowly approached her and said:

"So, you're the one who's been selling booze to my sister?"

"Huh?", Vera said before realizing that it's Mymy. "Mymy, what are you talking ab-"

"Don't pretend that you don't know what I'm talking about!", Mymy interrupted in a threatening voice. "I saw you two in this exact parking lot, and Maya was buying alcohol from you!"

"Mymy, please, it's not what it looks like!"

"Calm down, teacher. I promise to not tell anyone, but we first have to make a deal."

"Uh... sure, shoot."

"We will work together. I'm thinking of brewing some alcoholic beverages myself so you don't have to sell your own, and the profits we make from my drinks will be split between the both of us."

"Mymy, do you even know how to brew alcohol? You don't seem like the type of person that would know how to do that."

"I've been collecting some recipes over the past two days and I want to test them out."

"Alright, but make sure that your product is at the very least drinkable and keep track of the levels of alcohol. I suggest getting a hydrometer, they're easy to find on the internet."

"Will do. So, it's a deal?"

"Deal."

Vera then took out a piece of paper and a pen and scribbled her phone number on it.

"Here, take this." She then handed the note to Mymy. "Hit me up whenever you got something important to tell."

"Ok, thanks.", Mymy replied. "Also, I want to buy one of your bottles so that I can gain Maya's trust."

"Alright." Vera then opened her trunk. "Which one would you like to buy?"

"I'll take the wine."

"Okay, it'll be €10 then."

Mymy then reached for her pockets and found two €5 banknotes, then handed them to Vera. She then took the bottle and handed it to Mymy, who put it in her backpack.

The school alarm then rang.

"Alright, I have to go to class, bye!", Mymy said.

The rest of class went by normally, yet Mymy still couldn't focus properly because of her constantly thinking about the deal with Vera.

At home, Mymy pulled up the recipes and got to work. She found two large recipients that nobody was using, some yeast and some sugar. One of the recipes was for vodka, so she also took some potatoes, but was still clueless about what ingredient to add to the other batch.

Then, her extremely patriotic brain took no time to think about her favorite food: stroopwafels. That's it! She'll make stroopwafel-flavored hooch.

She then took all the ingredients to her room, followed the recipes, and, after finishing, hid the two recipients in the guest bathroom, locked the door and took the key to it with her. Then, the only thing that was left for Mymy to do was to wait from two to ten days and then get some empty bottles to store her hooch.

It was like a master plan to Mymy. She could only think about the money she'll make form this. The very thought of it made her feel fantastic!
