The theme starts where Seine as a bird was seen flying through the streets of Paris as she flew past Naoto who was seen kneeling on the floor as he was all bruised up. He grit his teeth and looked at what was in front of him where Morgan was seen slowly approaching with her hands spreading out with a smirk on her face as the buildings behind her began to decay and crumble. He stands up as he has his Thetis ready as the two would confront each other as the buildings in Paris along with the Eiffel Tower fall. Then the next scene shows Perrine and the Noble Witches walking out of the hangar to see the blue skies and clouds as they were on the runway to see the view of Sedan where above in the sky where a single contrail was flying through the sky.
I feel my energy

The next scene shows Kunika was seen flying on her Striker Arm as she soars through the sky at higher altitude as she builds of speed to fly through the clouds where below her was the city of Paris as the view zooms down onto the city to transition.

Then next scene shows Jennifer who was seen walking down the busy streets of Paris until the pedestrians disappear around her as it switches into night time where she stood there, placing her hand to her chest but looked at the window's reflection from the shop where it was Naoto instead as she had a surprised look as it shows her eyes widening.
In times of conflict and destruction

The next scene shows Gertrud, Erica, Helma, Johanna, and others of the Neu-Luftwaffe Air Base standing on the airbase's runway to look at the twilight sky. Then the next scene shows Heinrike who stood on the front of the battleship of Bismarck looked up to see the twilight sky along with the twinkling shooting star slowly streaking through as she remained a calm and serious composure on her face.

The next scene then shows Naoto walking down through the dark void until he steps out into the light where it takes him where Morgan and her remaining Moon Witches of Sins await him on the top of rubble and debris where Morgan had an evil smile on her face. Seine flies and lands on Naoto's shoulder while Kunika and Jennifer arrive to help him as the group readied themselves.

Then the next scene shows the battle in the sky where Adriana was seen shooting all of her rockets and missiles as she destroys the group of enemy fighter planes. Marian flies faster than ever before as she shoots down her enemies followed by Geena using her maneuvers to fly up in the sky as it follows Isabella shooting down a fighter plane after chasing it. Next, shows Carla using her weapons while drinking her cola as if it was easy for her. Then, it shows Perrine in her Striker Arm as she unsheathes her rapier and raises up into the air as it summons the strikes of lightning around her.

Then the next scene shows Keiwa Kaburagi and Adolfine Galland Kaburagi who were seen walking down the path at the park where Adolfine was seen carrying their daughter Edeltraud in Westerholt. But the two looked up in the sky to see it clearly.

Then the last scene shows Naoto, Kunika, and Jennifer standing up against all odds as it shows Morgan who is filled up with Dark Magic energy. Naoto then uses his right cursed arm as he run towards her as he leaps up into the air and tries to reach her as his right arm reacts violently as it ends with a bright flash of light as it finally transitions to show Naoto, Kunika, Jessica, and the Noble Witches where they all joined to look at the view of Sedan upon sunrise in the end.

First Person POV

A day has passed ever since the whole train incident with the Royal Reverie. But now? I find myself here at this base where I will be living from now on due to my role as Kunika's only bodyguard. We arrived here yesterday morning but I was extremely exhausted. As a result… I needed rest. And now? I'm all feeling better. After my rest… I was brought to the striker hangar where the Striker Units and Striker Arms were kept… I had to keep watch over Kunika whose eyes are sparkling for some reason where her Striker Arm is actually there. I guess it was delivered for real this time.
"Whoooooa!~ My Striker Arm!~ It's finally here at this base! And I'm glad these workers went above and beyond to clean it for me." Kunika said in excitement.
"Yeah, yeah. You can thank them and me later. I only contributed to keep it in good maintenance." The voice of a long blonde haired woman with a blue uniform similar to what Jennifer wears. That must be Marian Eugenia Carl… To tell you the truth, I knew their names when we first met properly yesterday when we first came to this base.
As the two would have a conversation as usual… I decided to turn around and decide to relax for myself. After all… I was expecting my mentor Myst to arrive but… Perrine told me that she returned to the moon to handle things at the moment. And she won't return down to Earth until the things are settled on Myst's side. I proceeded to walk down the hallways to look outside from the windows to see the beautiful pristine morning here. Man, this is my first time being here in France…
"Oh! Good morning, Mr. Naoto!~" The voice of Jennifer said to me with a kind smile as she had her hands behind her back just to greet me.
"Morning, Jennifer… And didn't I tell you to drop the 'Mr.' part already? Just call me Naoto and we're cool." I said to her as she shyly nodded.
"I-I'll try my best…" Jennifer said with a small blush. "So, how are you enjoying life here in France?"
"Nothing too particular. I'm not too familiar with some places like these. So… I have nothing to do." I said to her casually as I scratched the back of my head. Right… I forgot about Seine… Perrine is looking after her for me so I'm grateful.
"If you have nothing to do then… How about I take you somewhere within Sedan?" Jennifer said to me with an offer as this surprised me. "I know it was out of the blue so I was hoping you'd be interested."
"S-Sure… If that's what you want. I wouldn't mind. But the question is… Where do you want to go?" I asked her as she replied.
"Are you familiar with Sedan Castle?" Jennifer continued. "It's where the Karlslandians defeated the French Empire in 1871."
"Before your arrival… It would be called the Germans but… I suppose I sort of heard about that kind of history…" I continued as I looked back at her. "So, If it's a tourist location. Do you know when it is available to visit along with the visiting hours?"
"It should be open now. Very soon, it'll be a tourist hot spot." Jennifer said as she paused for a small moment and looked at me. "I know you're not familiar with French customs… So why not allow me to give you a tour guide?"
This made me ponder for just a bit… She wanted to provide me a tour at that castle? I mean… I was a loner at the time and I never interacted with anyone but… she's the only person who wanted to open herself up to get along with me. Plus, I'm a stranger in a foreign land. So… I've decided.
"Alright, I'll spend time with you." I said to her with my usual poker face.
"Sure thing, just leave it to me. We'll head off soon and take a bus outside of the base." Jennifer said with a small smile as she was eager. And this, we've begun our way to the intended location without attracting any attention.
Sedan Castle, Sedan, France Daytime - Clear Sky

As time passes right into daytime. We find ourselves here at the tourist hotspot of Sedan Castle. There's already people here going about their lives just to check things out. But, Jennifer was kind enough to lead me and show me some neat stuff of what the castle has to offer. Now, we were seen sitting on the bench during its opening hours where we were having a decent discussion.
"I gotta say, it's nice to visit some neat castles and all… But never would I think people would be living in some secluded boonies that is Sedan." I said as I was seen drinking a bottle of water that she gave to me.
"It is. But it does have history." Jennifer continued. "Now that I've given you the information about this castle. Is there anything you'd like to ask me about?"
"Y-Yeah…" I continued. "I know you're from America-"
"Liberion. Please call me a Liberion." Jennifer interjected calmly.
"Huh? Why? Would it make sense to call you an American, though?" I asked her as she shook her head as she let out a small smile and looked at the blue skies where she saw some Witches flying in the air far away, leaving a clouds of contrails.
"It's just to differentiate one from another. I mean, sure we are American, but people call us Liberions to remember our old home." Jennifer said casually and her reasons why… but I wanted to understand more. So I went for it.
"What was Liberion like back in your world?" I asked.
"You want to know? Jennifer replied as I nodded.
"Yeah… was the shape similar to ours in our world?" I asked her about the size of the US as I thought about it. But she shook her head.
"In fact, it's like it got pummeled by multiple airstrikes and laser attacks by the Neuroi, resulting in a star-like pattern. Same can be said for Laurentia and Mexicana." Jennifer explained the whole ordeal as I imagined what her Liberion would look like… I suppose it fits the description.
"I feel bad for your country suffering through its darkest times before the whole disaster kicked in." I said to her with sympathy as she chuckled a little.
"Don't worry. The past is the past. Us Liberions have fought back against the enemy, and we're doing good." Jennifer said as she then proceeded to stand up. "Now then, since we were taking a break. I suppose we can explore just a bit further. How's that sound?"
"Sure, I wouldn't mind." I replied to her.
Knowing myself, I suppose she was eager to show me around Sedan as time went on. For some reason, I would start forming this bond with her. She's innocent, alright. A kind one at that, too. What was her reason for asking me out, exactly? I still don't get it. But, I was willing to ask her.
"Say, Jennifer." I continued. "Which part of the state you are from in Am- I mean… Liberion?" I asked her the question as she looked at me.
"Hmm? I'm from Lockport. I was born and raised in Louisiana." Jennifer answered as this made me ponder that question. She'a a noble but… I can't quite put it there…
"Then why are you a noble, then?" I asked.
"Turns out that I was a descendant of Hispanian nobles who came to Liberion." Jennifer replied as she explained her family origins.
"So… that means you're Half-Spanish." I said to her as she nodded without speaking. "Figures. Also, about the whole train incident. What Striker Unit were you flying, exactly?"
"You really want to know? I wouldn't mind." Jennifer continued. "I fly a Grumma F7F-3N Tigercat. I use it for my night operations whenever it is either me or Heinrike. But now that the latter is part of the Navy, I'm now their Night Witch from time to time."
"Sounds like a stressful job." I replied.
"It can be. But at least I have some music to listen to. Pop music is the best in my opinion.~" Jennifer said with a carefree attitude as this surprised me. Never would I think I would meet a music person.
"Really now? I'm more into rock music-" I was interrupted until someone spoke within our range.
"J-Jennifer! There you are! I finally found you!" The voice of a distressed young man who arrived to meet up with us. He had black hair and some casual clothing… Is he sweating? Don't tell me he ran all the way here.

"H-Huh!? Beryl? Why are you here? More importantly… What are you doing here in France?" Jennifer said to him as I watched the conversation.
"I-Isn't it obvious? I came to see you! After all… I'm down under luck that I got dumped five days ago…" The man named Beryl explained his point of view… Now I understand what's going on… he was dating someone until he got dumped. But if he came back to Jennifer… then that means… No… I need to ask her.
"Is he your boyfriend?" I asked Jennifer about it as she looked at me.
"Ex-boyfriend. His name is Beryl Martins. I used to date him as his girlfriend before I returned back to France. Only for his stupidity got the best of him to cheat on me for another woman…" Jennifer explained her side of the story but Beryl interjected.
"W-What? That's not true!" Beryl refuted. "I got dumped by my other girlfriend! She told me that I wasn't worth it and decided to date another man! And now look at me! I'm in shambles!"
"See what happens when you cheat on someone you love for someone else…" Jennifer looked down on him with disapproval. "You came back to me after what happened and now you're begging to go out with me? No thanks."
"W-What do you mean…?" Beryl said in confusion.
"Like I said, I'm done with you. I even have my career as a Witch to look at now." Jennifer wasted no time but has no interest in him anymore. This caused him to be so frantic.
"D-Done!? A-After all the hospitality I gave you and now you're rejecting me!? P-Please! I only ask for forgiveness!" Beryl pleaded as Jennifer simply had enough with him.
You can solve that forgiveness yourself. C'mon, Naoto. We're leaving…" Jennifer said to me as I wasted no time but to follow her. I suppose it's best to leave him be. He's already kneeling on the ground looking all depressed but… I suppose he got what's coming.

As soon as we headed back to the base. We took our time on visiting the downtown area of Sedan to understand the lay of the land. If you know what I mean. But, we stopped at the entrance when we walked through since this base will be my home. Hers, too. But… I wanted to try asking her a few things after what happened. It sounded too dramatic.
"Hey, Jennifer. I suppose that was too harsh on him? He seemed to be filled with regret." I told her about what happened as she looked down on herself. Even though she used to date him… she feels unsure.
"I know…" Jennifer continued. "At first, Beryl loved me for who I am, always cared. But his eyes then drifted to someone else and cheated on me. So… I dumped him. Never again would I want to date a guy who's willing to break another girl's heart."
"Love hurts." I said to her as she nodded, seemingly agreeing with me.
"It does… Even for someone who cares." Jennifer said with a light somber tone until looking back at me. "By the way, do you have a girlfriend?"
"Never, no." I continued. "I never had friends, either."
"That must have been rough. However, I'm glad that I was willing to show you some parts of Sedan like the castle. Sorry you had to see my squabble with my ex-boyfriend." Jennifer apologized to me as I shook my head.
"Think nothing of it." I replied back to her as Jennifer had a small smile on her face with her hands behind her back.
"Hehe.~ You're a reasonable guy, that's for sure. If you want to ask me out in knowing more about Sedan. Just let me know." Jennifer replied to me as I pondered just a bit.
"But isn't your Night Witch job going to be within your line of work? Do you always sleep during the day?" I told her about it as she immediately replied.
"Oh no. I only get called up whenever a major threat arises. For now, it's just peaceful." Jessica replied. Right, there's no more Neurois in this world ever since that whole Verdansk battle or whatever.
"DeBlanc. There you are." The voice of a woman spoke as she approached us… That's Geena Preddy. Apparently, she's supposed to be the newly appointed Squadron Leader for the unified Noble Witches unit. Jennifer then saluted at her.

"M-Ma'am…" Jennifer responded as I watched. I didn't salute but this was a girl's talk.
"And where have you been, exactly? Just wanna know." Geena asked her.
"I was showing Naoto all around Sedan." Jennifer said about me as Geena's eyes shifted at me.
"Is that so? Well then, Naoto. How's enjoying here in Sedan?" Geena asked me as I scratched the back of my head.
"Good to hear. Anyways, DeBlanc. I want you on double time in the evening. I need you patrolling all over Sedan along with the outskirts. I've been hearing rumors of serial killings in the downtown area." Genna said to Jennifer as she nodded.
"You got it, Preddy." Jennifer replied back as Genna let out a soft smile.
"Glad to hear it. Be ready when you are able." Geena then looked at me. "As for you, Naoto. You seemed tired. So why not head back and rest up. You wouldn't want Wing Commander Clostermann to find out about it, huh?"
"That's the whole plan, I guess…" I replied as Geena turned around and left.
"A serial killer, huh?" I pondered of what's going on.
"Rumors says it's a magepsycho carrying a gun-shaped object. I can't figure out what it is…" Jennifer said with a frown.
"Are Magepsychos dangerous to deal with?" I asked.
"If we don't deal with them now, they are." Jennifer then continued with her calm expression. "Well, I better get going. I need to continue my duties as a Night Witch. After all, I can't let Wittgenstein down."

And so, we would part ways as Jennifer would continue her duties as a Night Witch and go on with her task as I headed back into the base. As soon as I was about to call it for the day and sleep… I was approached by Perrine.
"Welcome back, Naoto. I take it you were out and about? And if you're looking for Kunika… She's training at the royal courtyard." Perrine told me about it, including Kunika's whereabouts.
"Ahh. I'll leave Kunika to it. But there is something I want to ask." I said to her as Perrine blinked her eyes.
"Oh? What is it?" Perrine asked me as she awaits my question.
"About Jennifer… What's her magical ability, exactly? I know she's a Night Witch. I can tell she's different compared to the rest." I asked her the question as Perrine was willing to answer it.
"Ever since Heinrike lost her magic in Paris, Jennifer has been promoted as our main Night Witch. Though I did tell her that she can only fly at night if any major threat looms, so that she can relax with her teammates. As for her ability, it's always the Magical Radar. Her case is a Plan Position Indicator, which can detect threats from her scope." Perrine explained Jennifer's ability thoroughly with detail as this gave me enough understanding at this point. "
"Oh? Can she detect enemies?" I asked.
"She can, but it's only Neurois now that they're gone." Perrine replied as I pondered.
"Then can she detect people?" I asked her again if she is capable of doing that as she shook her head.
"She's working on that." Perrine continued. "By the looks of you, you seemed to be pleased. So it's my turn to ask. Where were you when you were out and about?"
"Jennifer took me places in Sedan. Nothing special." I told her about it.
"Nothing special? I understand it's your first time being here in France so I will not ask further. I'm sure you're tired and all so why not head off to bed early. Rest assured, Seine is doing okay. I have my husband Alain looking after her in my office." Perrine said about Seine as I can tell she's okay with it.
"Right. I did hear that you guys are dealing with a serial killer in Sedan, right?" But this got me wondering. Geena mentioned it before so I was hoping to ask her about this situation. Of course, she is aware of it.
"I am…" Perrine replied with a calm, stern tone.
"Magepsychos… People who overdose on Witch's Magic, treating it like a drug. Our country is known for its Magic-related crime rate which skyrocketed last month." I pondered about who or what the Magepsychos are. From what I can tell you, they're dangerous if not dealt with.
"And more are spreading because of it being available on the black market." Perrine said as she pondered about that, too. "However, if applied onto a Witch, nothing happens. So it'd be better off for us as a tool to recharge ourselves if we're exhausted from the usage of our magical energy."
"Then again, people who inject themselves can only receive magical powers for 24 hours before using it again. But I'm sure it'll be dealt with here in all of Europe." I said with some speculation as I decided to drop the conversation. "Anyways, I'll be heading back to my room. I'm sure you're busy and all but it was good talking to you."
"Indeed. And I do hope our conversation will be more pleasant this time around." Perrine said as we part ways and do our own thing. But damn I'm tired… Getting some early rest is the only thing I need in my life…
Downtown, Sedan, France Nighttime - Clear Sky

Third Person POV
Meanwhile, within the downtown area in the European town of Sedan. Somewhere within the alleyways where Beryl was seen sitting near the wall as he was all alone and depressed. He regretted coming here as he is officially stuck here in France because he spent all of his money just to travel there and try to reunite with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer J. DeBlanc. But things didn't go too well as a result. Suddenly, he hears footsteps approaching from the side of the alleyway to see a mysterious figure standing there as this confuses him.
"W-Who are you…?" Beryl said in confusion until the mysterious figure proceeded to grab something out from his hand… a gun-shaped object. "W-What are you doing…?"
"Trigger." The voice of the mysterious man said as he quickly pointed the object to the side of his head and pulled the trigger. A burst of red motes of magical energy spews out from it as his eyes glow red as the swirling flame surrounds him.
"N-No! NO! GET AWAY-" Beryl had no chance to escape… but instead… became the latest victim of mysterious person's killings. As a result… Beryl was killed as burn marks were left on the wall from the impact. Thus, the killer leaves the scene after his victim made a commotion that brought unwanted attention.

First Person POV
The next day here at this base. It was morning like usual. However, we were all present here at the briefing room. Apparently, a serial killer… a Magepsycho claimed another victim. Everyone here put it on edge as we all remained silent. Perrine was seen on the podium stage where she was seen explaining the whole situation with the entire map layout of Sedan itself.

"As you all know… another victim has been killed by the same serial killer that the Noble Witches have been pursuing. With the cooperation of the local police force here. They have provided us with the details of this victim. DeBlanc, I'm sure you're familiar with this person but… you're not going to like this." Perrine said to her as she was confused about it.
"W-What do you mean, Wing Commander…?" Jennifer asked.
"From your standpoint, you had told me that you once had a boyfriend, yes?" Perrine continued. "I know this will come as a shock to you… Are you familiar with the name of Beryl Martins?"
"Y-Yes! I know him but… Don't tell me he…?" Jennifer said suddenly as her fear builds up as if something has happened.
"Beryl… has been killed as of last night…" Perrine announced the death of Jessica's ex-boyfriend. I looked at her expression as she was confused but sad at the same time. Even though she won't forgive him for his actions. But deep down… she really wanted to move on from all of this. She felt saddened by this announcement.
"Beryl… E-Even though I don't like him for cheating on me but… he didn't deserve this death…" Jennifer sighed in defeat as the Liberion Noble Witches had to help cheer her up. Kunika on the other hand felt bad for her. She wasn't aware of her ex-boyfriend's death but she can understand her pain.
"Cheer up, Jessica." Carla said to her as she handed her a glass bottle of cola. "We understand how you currently feel right now but you gotta get yourself together right now."
"T-Thanks… But I don't need the cola, Luksic…" Jennifer replied back as Carla seemed a bit bummed out as she took back the cola.
"Ahem…" Perrine clears her throat and speaks as we look. "As this caused civil unrest after another victim's death. Sedan's local police department has asked us to cooperate with them and find the serial killer. Knowing that the serial killer only appears at night. DeBlanc, this situation is dire so I will send you into a patrol at night for the time being."
"Understood, Ma'am." Jessica stood up and responded seriously like a soldier. Talk about a complete shift.
"This will conclude today's briefing of the situation. So I expect you all to do your routines as usual. Dismissed." Perrine said as she left the briefing room on her own. As this was all over… Jessica sits back down.
"So… We're still dealing with the serial killer out and about…" Carla said as she lay back and relaxed. "Maaan. I don't wanna kill a human being…"
"But we don't have much choice. That's a magepsycho we're dealing with." Marian said with a usual tone with her arms crossed.
"Uuuugh… But I don't want to…" Carla whined but looked at Marian. "Besides... Don't you have another NASWITCH race coming up in the next few days back in our good ol country of Liberion?"
"I'll make it. You'll know soon enough." Marian replied with a confident smirk as I looked at the Liberion Witches.
"Uhh… NASWITCH? The hell's that?" I asked about it.
"It's a sanctioned Witch sport, which is racing. At Daytona, Charlotte Yeager won." Geena informed me of what it is as this was all new to me.
"Ahh, if you haven't heard. Charlotte is an ace just like us. After all, we Liberion Witches are aces due to our high amount of kill count of Neurois. Now that the Red Neurois are no longer present in this world. Carl here… she wanted to surpass her for some reason…" Jennifer then looked at Marian who seemed to admit it to herself.
"Sounds like an unhealthy obsession." I added as this slightly angered her.
"Oh, fuck you." Marian retorted.
"Language, Carl. You're in front of Myst's pupil… as well as Seine's little Enforcer." Geena spoke as Marian looked back at me.
"An Enforcer, huh?" Marian continued with her arms crossed.
"I'm taking over Seine's role because of this. She and I are cursed. This is the result." I said as I pulled back the sleeve of my right arm to show them my briars as everyone here was surprised except Kunika.
"H-Holy… Is your arm alright?" Jennifer said with shock as she looked at it. "I can almost feel the magic energy… It almost feels like… malice…"
"It's because it's filled with Dark Magic. Been doing my best to keep it at bay in order to rid myself of this curse." I said as I pushed back my sleeve to hide it away.
"Sounds like revenge to me." Marian said as she decided to stand up and leave.
"Hmm? Marian-san? Where are you going?" Kunika asked her as she turned to look at her.
"The hangar, duh. After all, I still need to prepare for the race in the few days at Daytona. Good thing Clostermann gave me permission for this." Marian said as she leaves on her own.
"Well then… I suppose I got time before my night flight. Hey, Naoto." Jennifer said to me. "I was hoping I could lead you to the hangar. The others are heading there but it'd be a good time to show you there if you're okay with it."
"I wouldn't mind. It's not like I have something to do so I might as well check things out again. So please, show me around." I said to her kindly as she smiled a bit.
"Alright, let me lead the way." Jennifer replied as she was eager to take me there.

However… Marian stripped off her clothing as she still had her bra and panties the moment she got on her Striker Unit as her familiar activities. She seemed to smile a bit as her engine was roaring.
"Just you wait, Yeager… I will surpass you soon." Marian said with confidence as I ignored her as I looked at Jessica's Striker Unit instead.
"So… this is your Tigercat?" I asked her as she nodded.
"It is. I've already ordered the Striker Arm version of it just in case my Striker Unit ceases to function. Geena, Marian, and Adriana are the only owners of their Striker Arms. Soon, I'll probably be next." Jennifer explained as she approached her Striker Unit, placing her hand on it.
"Sounds like you're patient with it." I continued with my arms crossed. "Besides, Geena said that you have your night work cut out for you since that killer is on the loose."
"I get that. But… I made a promise to Heinrike that I will improve as a Night Witch. Her time ended but I haven't. All Witches will soon upgrade to the Striker Arm and I will do the same." Jennifer continued as she looked at her hand and lightly clenched it. "After all, I made a promise to my mother and father that I will continue my duties as a Witch until the time of age comes."
"But hey, you still have us, after all!~" Kunika said gleefully as Jessica chuckled at her with a small smile.
"Thank you, Kunika. That is truly reassuring. Though, it's not much for me to say but… Are you willing to accompany me for tonight's patrol?"
Of course, Kunika's eyes widened in surprise when she asked her out for support. And so she nodded.
"Hai! I'll gladly do so!" Kunika replied happily until…
"Hmmm… Ergh… This is quite troublesome…" Adriana, who was seen on her Striker Unit as she had her Striker Arm on as she was having trouble. She was seen holding two 9-barreled rocket launchers on both hands but she doesn't seem to wield it properly as the wings were in her way.
"Hmm? Visconti? Is something a matter?" Jennifer said to her as the red-haired Witch looked at us.
"Ahh, right. Well you see… I want to use my Fligerhammers for my flight in case a mission happens but… I have these air-to-air missiles on the wings under it. So… Do you have any ideas in mind?" Adriana asked us as I spoke after pondering.
"What about putting those rocket launchers on the top of your wings, then?" I suggested the idea as she was rather surprised by me.
"Perfectto! I like that idea! Let's go with that!" Adriana said with gleeful confidence as me, Kunika, and Jennifer looked at her as we simply stood there. Then, her mood dies down as if her patience was wearing thin. "What are you waiting for? I need the two of you to put it on my wings already!"
Me and Kunika hesitated as we wasted no time and hurried to put her rocket launchers on her wings… As it took about one minute, we stepped back to see her weapons on the top of her wings. Adriana then looked at her wings as she tested them with some wing adjustments.
"Soooo… What do you think?" Kunika asked her as she looked at us.
"Looks great. With it, I can maximize my firepower. Thanks." Adriana continued. "Now then… I'll be proceeding with my daily flight… Taking off."
And so, Adriana's Striker Arms roars to life as she begins to hover as her feet no longer touch the ground and takes off from the hangar. Well, there she goes… However, Perrine arrived to see us since the others are busy. Carla is minding her business just to relax at the hangar and drink her cola.
"Now then… I suppose the others are going to be busy for the moment. I suppose I got time. Would you, Kunika, and DeBlanc like to head with me to the Chagall Cafe?" Perrine continued. "I know I'm not much of a coffee person but they have this Pheromone Coffee on the menu. Surely you wouldn't mind accompanying me, Naoto?"
"I'm… Kunika's bodyguard. You know the reason why." I said to her as Perrine shook her head.
"You still are. But that doesn't mean that you're a resident of the Noble Witches now. Besides, I think Kunika here would like to enjoy herself." Perrine said as Kunika nodded.
"Mhm!~ Besides, I don't mind drinking anything so why not enjoy ourselves, Naoto-kun?" Kunika said to me as I sighed.
"I suppose…" I replied. "I haven't drank coffee in a long time so I might as well join you on this one… for now."
"Alright!~ I guess it's to have some good ol' girls talk! Except Naoto-kun is with us this time around." Kunika said with a cheerful behavior as I sighed.
"I'm not sure if this is supposed to be a monologue or you're just making a joke out of me…" I replied in some slight confusion as I continued, remaining my usual tone. "But either way, we are going as a group… right?"
"Y-Yes. We are." Perrine continued. "Now then, let's us-"

"I-I'm sorry, miss… We were out of ingredients just recently ever since they were sold out. Please, I suggest you order something else." The waiter said to her as Perrine's outburst has made herself embarrassed as a result as she sits back to her seat and remains calm as me, Kunika, and Jennifer were watching.
"A-Apologies… I suppose I'll try this Espresso for once…" Perrine continued. "And what of you?"
"I'll have what you have." I replied.
"Same here." Kunika added.
"I-I'll have water, please…" Jennifer spoke as she asked for water instead. The waiter nods as he heads back inside the cafe to begin the order for our drinks. As time passes just a little, it is done as we have our drinks.
"I'm terribly sorry that you had to see the awful side of me when it comes to these outbursts. This was truly unlady-like of me… I could imagine what Lynette would say to me if that came out." Perrine wondered but also mentioned the name… That's right… I haven't got a chance to ask her about it.
"You told me about this Witch who accompanies you. Lynette Bishop, right? Where is she, exactly?" I asked her about it as she responded.
"She's currently looking after the children at the orphanage in Dijon. After all, being both the Wing Commander and the head of the Clostermann Foundation is quite challenging but I will manage." Perrine continued as she drank her coffee. "Hmm… Oh yes, Naoto?"
"Yes?" I responded.
"I know you're still settling in and you haven't got a chance to reunite with your mentor Myst but… Are you aware that we have a doctor working at our base named Helmuth Rudiger zu-Sayn Wittgenstein?" Perrine said as she mentioned the name as I lowered my drink down.
"Wait… Heinrike has a brother?" I asked in confusion as she shook her head.

The two had a shaky relationship with one and another but after what happened months ago during the attack in Paris…" Perrine looked down as I knew what happened thanks to her information recap.
"You told me that Heinrike lost her magic before she hit 20. How?" I asked her the question as she was willing to respond.
"She was shot by a bullet using the remaining concepts of Kyo's Soul Magic. One that can kill the soul of a Human… as well as the Witch's Familiar." Perrine continued. "Her black cat familiar protected her which caused it to no longer exist. Therefore, terminating the pact as a Witch entirely almost instantly. There was one similar case if you haven't heard of it. Would you like to listen?"
"I'd be down. Please, explain." I responded as Perrine nodded.
"Heinrike has told me a story that happened in Poznan, which was Minna's birthplace. Karlsland went on a full assault to liberate Poznan from a Neuroi. A Night Witch similar to Heinrike named Heidemarie took part in the battle. But it was when she met Kyo which led her to be hit by his dangerous Soul Magic. Thus, killing her familiar instantly. But it was thanks to Heidemarie's descendant Lukas who helped her regain her familiar. After that, Kyo was defeated along with the Neuroi as Poznan was liberated." Perrine finished her explanation as I was surprised by it. Honestly, I was lost for words.
"I see… both Paris and Poznan… I believe I'm missing something here… There was someone who took part in both battles, right? If so, then who was he?" I asked her as she spoke.
"Keiwa Kaburagi." Perrine said his name as this reminded me through a flashback when I first met him protecting us back at some abandoned amusement park in Karlsland. My mind snapped back to reality as I looked down a bit as I was looking at my hand holding that cup.
"Keiwa, huh…?" I said to myself as I paused.
"Indeed. He was the very example of a person who went on a journey. To establish a connection and bond between one another. We've all met him previously before you arrived. I'm sure you have answers about him but… At first, he was hated by all Witches around the world for his actions back during the Battle of Japan's Sea. His effort in destroying a Neuroi all by himself was the start of his journey." Perrine continued as she spoke the stories about him. "He was once a member of the not-so-known group known as the Typhoon Coffin Platoon. It was said to be an experiential group of sorts. Throughout the journey, Keiwa had already met the people and Witches all across the world. As well as helping them with their troubles. I, too, have also met him. But by the time he has changed himself for a greater good, he has managed to overcome against all odds when the final battle against the Neuroi Hive in Verdansk happens."
"And what happened after that?" I asked her more as she spoke.
"After the Battle of Verdansk. The Platoon was disbanded and Keiwa was secretly dating the Commodore this whole time which was a shock to all Witches but they've learned to move on. As of today… He's now the head of the Witch Corp's Mage Pact Department as well as married to the Commodore. I can tell he's a changed man. When I talked to him before your arrival, we had a chat…" Perrine continued as she smiled a bit. "He seems to be very content with his life as of currently. Oh right, if you don't know. He currently works at home in Galland's birthplace rather than working there in Berlin."
"I see… About Keiwa, Perrine." I continued but I hesitated to ask. "Is he a hero?"
"He wasn't. In fact, I asked him about it if he feels like being a hero after his efforts. He simply said no and wanted to live life to his fullest. In the end, he is a simple human being." Perrine said as I was expecting that answer from a guy who went on a journey. She's right. He is no hero. But a person as I am, too.
What does it mean to be a hero? A Hero is nothing more than a title, not a status. There was one such as Takami Karibuchi, who was hailed as the Hero of Sasebo due to her contribution from the Battle of Japan's Sea aftermath. Again, a hero is a hero. It's not easy to save everyone. There will always be sacrifices to save just one.

"Right…" I replied as I drank the coffee… "I suppose that concludes the story about Keiwa, then?"
"I suppose so. After all, he has endured enough to reach where he's at now." Perrine said as she finished her drink. "Now then… I suppose this would conclude our time here. As much as I want to spend more time outside of the base. Unfortunately, I'm a busy person who needs to get the job done… such as paperwork. As for you, DeBlanc."
"Y-Yes, Clostermann?" Jennifer asked as she looked at her.
"Remember your task for tonight. We need to make sure to catch this serial killer. The deaths of the victims of Sedan will not be in vain. And you, Kunika. I need you to support her as best as you can." Perrine said to the two as they nodded.
"Hai! Just leave it to me!" Kunika happily replied as I sighed as I spoke to Jennifer.
"Please look after her for me. She can be a bit reckless and stupid. But I guess you already know her back in your world, of course." I said to her as Kunika lets out a playful attitude as she lightly sticks her tongue out and giggles.
"Don't worry, Naoto. Kunika knows and I'm sure she'll protect me. After all, she saved my life once." Jennifer said with reassurance and a kind smile as I nodded at her. Knowing Jennifer, I suppose she can handle this quite well.
506th JFW Noble Witches Base, Sedan, France Evening - Clear Sky

As time passes into night. I was seen at the hangar with Kunika and Jennifer while the others are remaining here at the base. Kunika already wore her Striker Suit as she has gotten used to the tightness of the suit itself. It's interesting that the Striker Suit itself is meant to match the color of the Striker Arm. I looked at Jennifer who was seen getting on her Tigercat Striker Unit the moment her familiars activate. The engine of it roars as the magic circle appears below her upon start-up before disappearing.
"So, I guess you'll be doing your night patrol? Surely your ability can detect murderers, can you?" I asked her as she uses her Magic Radar ability to check. She then shook her head.
"Sadly, I can't. Us Witches only have recon or scanning-based abilities to detect Neurois only. But… I think I am trying to work on it. For now, the only thing I have to do is to fly around Sedan and potentially the outskirts to conduct my patrol. But don't worry, your sister will protect me." Jennifer said as I looked at Kunika who gave me a thumbs up.
"As she said, I'll keep her safe." Kunika said with reassurance.
"Promise me that you'll return alive, okay?" I said to her as she nodded.
"You got it! Let's go, Jennifer-san!~" Kunika said as she rushed to her Striker Arm as she attached herself the moment her familiar activated. And later on… both took off from the hangar as they flew right into the sky.
As the two left, I simply watched them fly off as they left their lights on their plane wings on. I wonder what they're for exactly… But oh well. All I can do is pray for their safety. Perrine did say that the serial killer is on the loose. A Magepsycho in correction. That is until Perrine arrived just to find me.
"Ahh, there you are. I was looking for you." Perrine called for me as I turned around to see her arrival.
"Is there something you want from me?" I asked.
"I do. I was hoping you'd like to come with me to the radar room. I have workers doing their job, that is. After all, Kunika and DeBlanc will be okay." Perrine said to me as I nodded without even thinking.
"Sure, lead the way. Quite curious of what this base has to offer so I might as well kill some time." I said to her as we headed our way.
As minutes passed by, I found myself in a radar room where it would appear to be a bit large here filled with people but… the technology they're using is apparently all run with modern tech and magic. There is some magic-powered radar tech along with the holographic monitor screen which shows the full map overview. Plus, the indicators moving appear to be Kunika and Jennifer as they seemed to leave Sedan and headed towards the outskirts.
"Welcome to the radar room. I'm sure it's not much but we are keeping track with the two of them as well as keeping surveillance of the base since the personels managed to install outside security camera to prevent anyone from trespassing. And sometimes I find members like Luksic hanging around in some restricted area which I told her not to…" Perrine said with a light facepalm as if she had to deal with her… or is it because Liberion Witches are sometimes rebellious in some way.
"I gotta say, you're really caught up with today's technology. Never would I think that magic would be the go-to to advance the world forward." I said to her with my arms crossed as I looked at multiple hovering magic holographic monitors.
"Of course. It's surprising how technology compared from our world to yours is simply one giant leap." Perrine continued. "But alas-"

"Ma'am… you need to look at this." One of the radar workers informed Perrine as he typed onto the magic holographic keyboard as it switched the security camera to show the entrance of the base where a mysterious robed man had his hands up when the security guard raised his pistol at him. The moment the hooded man turned around with his hands up… A burst of flame combusts from his hands as it creates an explosion which destroys the camera, leaving only a static.

"Perrine? You sure this guy's a visitor?" I asked as she shook her head.
"Not that I know of." Perrine continued with a serious tone. "But it appears this man capable of using magic has trespassed the base! Naoto, can I leave it to you?"
"Sure, what of you?" I asked her as she responded.
"I'm going to send this base on high alert. Worst of all… both of them are still on patrol. I'll have to call them back if possible. For now, do what you must do to stop him." Perrine said as I clenched my fists…
Knowing that she needs this base protected and all but she also needs to alert the others as well as Kunika and Jennifer. It appears this mysterious individual might have planned this one out. Did he wait for both of them to leave so he can enter and try to cause chaos? However… she needs that person to be stopped. I nodded at her before leaving the radar room in order to hurry myself outside to stop him. But the moment I opened the door…
[BOOM!]
Suddenly, I heard an explosion coming from outside where it must have come from the hangar. The base's alarm was set off as I wasted no time… I headed to the hangar area outside where the runway was set ablaze as I ran outside to meet with that hooded man. However, some parts of the hangar were set on fire because of the explosion but it didn't reach further it seems. The Striker Units and Striker Arms are safe but…
"Hey!" I called him out. "You have a lot of nerve setting foot onto this base, do you? Not only that… I can definitely sense some magic essence within you… You… You're that serial killer who's been causing trouble all over Sedan. And worse of all, you're a damn Magepsycho, too!"
"I smell magic…" The Magepsycho continued. "Hand it over."
"Not happening. Why are you trespassing, exactly?" I asked him.
"This doesn't concern you. I destroy what I please." The Magepsycho said as Perrine arrived in time as she wielded her rapier.
"Naoto! Pray forgive my lateness." Perrine continued. "So this trespasser was the one trying to set the hangar ablaze, is it?"
"Most certainly… right now, I don't think his mind is straight. He keeps saying magic and wants mine… and probably yours." I continued. "Perrine, he cannot be allowed to live. I know you Witches are too keen on killing people so… Let me handle it. Support me while you can."
"Alright… I trust you on this one." Perrine said as her familiar activates as she emits out the essence of magic within her. However, her cat ears began to twitch as she sensed something. "Wait… something's not right…"
"What do you mean by-" The moment I tried to ask her. A red sky appears as it surrounds the whole area of the base. As expected… "Damn it… The Witching Hour!"
"Witching Hour?" Perrine asked.
"Only the Moon Witches of Sin are capable of pulling that off. I know it's not him but… The Moon Witch of Sin is here within the area!" I informed her about it as we looked in front of the enemy who stood there.
"Give me magic… or die…!" The Magepsycho then grabs out of what appears to be a gun-shaped object as he points it close to the side of his temple… his head. We both stood our ground as this confused her.
"I-Is he going to shoot himself!?" Perrine said in confusion.
"He is but… something's not right…" I replied the moment the Magepsycho began to pull the trigger…

The moment he pulled the trigger onto himself. A burst of red magical energy swirls around him as it turns into flames as we readied ourselves until…
"Naoto!" Perrine called for me as she rushed to my side when our enemy conjured a ball of fire which was shot towards me. She raised her shield in time to block it as it was nothing. She lowered her shield and looked at me. "You need to focus…"
"I get it…" I said as I readied Thetis as the grimoire hovered on my hand. "If he wants to play with fire. I might as well cool him off."
I proceeded to concentrate as my grimoire responded as I conjured multiple spears made out of water as I was ready to hurl towards him.
"There! Water Magic Technique: Rainstorm Lance!" I hurled multiple lances towards the Magepsycho as he dodges out of harm's way until he conjures a ball of fire directly at the last water lance as two elements collided, creating a burst of steam that obscured our vision.
"Tch… Where did he go- WHOA!" I dodged the incoming fireball which was behind me as Perrine leaped up in the air as she readied her rapier as it was surging with thunder…
"No escape! Verthunder!" Perrine then shoots a bolt of thunder at the Magepsycho as he takes the hit as the clouds of steam disappear. The Magepsycho was paralyzed as I readied another lance of water thanks to her assistance.
"It's over!" I exclaimed as I hurled a water lance as it strikes through his chest, he falls to the floor. And just like that… I never expect for a Magepsycho like him to die easily… Perrine approached to the body but proceeds to pick up the gun-shaped object and held it on her hand

"I see…" Perrine continued with her serious tone. "Kona Group…"
"Kona Group? I've heard of them before but they're quite mysterious." I said to her as she looked at me.
"Now I can finally confirm my suspicions. The Kona Group were responsible for creating Witch Magic Injectors. And now, they later on made this…" Perrine continued as she showed it to me as I held it. "Witch Envokers, I believe. It says the name on the side of the gun. From what we saw, the Magepsycho can pull the trigger at will upon himself, enhancing himself with a burst of magical energy. But why create a gun, exactly?"
"Perhaps… Perhaps it might have to do something about facing the consciousness of death, it seems." I continued. "I'm not good at interpreting things but… What does Kona Group have to do about it?"
"That's the point." Perrine continued. "The Kona Group was already eradicated by K Corporation after Kona were exposed for extracting and distributing unawoken Neuroi Cores. Of course, K Corp sent their very own K-Sec to eliminate the entirety of Kona Group along with 500 Neuroi Cores as it was said on the news. Honestly, never would I expect them to do something ridiculous."
"That's something…" I continued as I pondered. "The world would have repeated its history again should we fight against the Neurois. But I guess we should owe thanks to them for stopping them."
"True but… rumors also spread involving K Corporation such as forced labor of Witches and placing them into K-Sec. But K Corp's PR have called those rumors false. Or better yet, they even tried to fully own Karlsland's Hartmann R&D for their own benefit. Of course, it was Barkhorn who informed me of their latest action." Perrine continued. "And the only thing you should be careful about is TRUDE-8, a war machine based on the designs of Barkhorn. Which is why you can't put your trust into them."
I was lost for words. And here I thought K Corporation was supposed to be Japan's greatest corporation that led the efforts in many situations. From their actions in Cape Town against the terrorist incursion, to a widespread humanitarian recovery effort, and now this… Are they really going that far?

"Well now, it appears you've killed my little plaything. It's unfortunate that he has served his purpose." The voice of a woman spoke from above as we looked up.

"As expected… you're the one responsible for this, are you?" I demanded the red-haired witch with a scar over her eye but she can still see. She descends down from her broom.
"Of course, why would I? After all, this little Magepsycho here can't even do his work now that you killed him…" The Moon Witch said until her head glares down towards the body until she uses her foot to stomp on it as it created a blood splatter with much brute force. "DAMN IT! DAMN, DAMN, DAMN! YOU PIECE OF SHIT, USELESS MEATBAG! I GAVE YOU A CHANCE AND YOU WENT ON AND WASTE IT! FUCK!"
We both watched her constantly stomping the body of the Magepsycho that we killed but… She finishes him off herself. I guess the serial killer is no more. The moment she calmed down, she looked at us.
"Now then… You know why I'm here, do you?" The Moon Witch asked me as I felt her gaze directly at me. I maintained my composure as I replied.
"You're here for me. By the looks of it… Morgan sent you, didn't she?" I asked as she had both hands on her hips.
"Well, duh. It's obvious. You defeated four of my sisters in the process and I could imagine she's on edge after what you did." The Moon Witch continued. "Anyways, the names Yuudias. I represent the Sin of Wrath. As a person who doesn't like to waste time… you know the reason why I came to you."
"Of course, you want revenge." I said.
"That. But it's much more than revenge…" Yuudias continued as she pointed at Perrine. "I will rid these false inferior species of what you call 'Earth Witches'. Is it not? How come god created you in the first place just to mock us Moon Witches, huh!?"
"Is it me? Or is she daft and insufferable at the same time…" Perrine said in an unsurprised tone.
"I heard that!" Yuudias exclaimed. "Gaaaah! All this discussion is pissing me off! Can't we just fight already?"
"…If It's a fight you want? Then a fight you shall have." I said with a straightforward response as we readied ourselves.
"Finally! I love a decent human being who can get straight to the point! I like that! I can almost respect you! But enough talk… Time to die." Yuudias said as she summoned her black wide claymore as it was burning in purple flames. Is this her weapon? Well either way… that blade looks dangerous. I'll have to steep clear from it.

"Let's see if you can dodge this!" Yuudias then prepares herself for a cleave as she sends out an arcing horizontal projectile as we dodged it by leaping up in the air as we combined our attacks.
"Perrine! Follow my lead!" I said to her as I prepared my grimoire as the pages flip as fast as it can to use the knowledge in my mind as I cast a magic circle to shoot out a blast of whirlpool. "Do it!"
"Tonnerre!" Perrine surges her rapier's blade as she shoots it into the whirlpool as it creates an elemental combination between water and thunder as we created this move…
"Combination Magic: Torrential Reign!"
With our Torrential Reign as we called it. This would surely hit Yuudias for sure. However…
"Impressive move. Combining the Lost Code's Magic and Earth Witch's Magic… I'm jealous. But you know… I'M OFFENDED!" Yuudias exclaimed as she raised her blade to split the electric whirlpool in two as if it was nothing. "But calling out your moves is cheesy and will not work on me!"
Suddenly, she swings her sword as she cancels out our attack as she was ready to return the favor.
"I will win! So stay down-" Yuudias tried to prepare her attack until…
[SWOOOSH! BOOM!]
Suddenly, a barrage of missiles flew past us as it directly hits Yuudias as it created a mass explosion. When we turned around…
"Wing Commander! Naoto! Are you unharmed!?" The voice of Adriana spoke as she arrived on her Striker Suit and Arm as she seemed to be hovering in the air. We both landed down to meet her.
"Thanks for protecting us, Visconti. If you hadn't come. We would've been in deep trouble." Perrine said to her as Adriana shook her head.
"Don't be. I've come to protect you. The others are still here but they're currently helping the evacuation of the workers but… it appears we're trapped inside whatever this is." Adriana said as she looked up at the red night sky.
"The Witching Hour." I said as I looked at Yuudias. "And she's responsible for it."
"And what of this Magepsycho?" Adriana asked me.
"She killed him. Most likely working under her but failed to sow destruction." I continued as I readied myself again as the smoke clouds were replaced with a swirling tornado of dark flames the moment it died down where Yuudias had seemingly taken the nearly brunt end of the attack.
"Interesting… to think you people still relying on modern weaponry still amazes me. Yet, combining magic with Earth's technology is something I will never understand. Yuudias then proceeds to raise her blade in the air as the flames begin to form itself into a form of a dragonic dark flame serpent where it rose into the sky and roared as we covered from the powerful shout. "I wonder, what will happen to you all and this base? It wouldn't hurt to find out the moment I sent it straight at ya."
"Neat trick… if you can do it… So can I!" I proceeded to use Thetis once more as the pages flipped rapidly as the magic circle began to appear below me as I concentrated to conjure something out of it… I raised the magic circle in the air as it created a large water serpent that rose out of the circle and proceeded to roar as well. Two serpents of the different elements finally meet one another as we both launch our powerful attacks at each other. "Chew on this!"
"Die now!" Yuudias responded as she swung her blade to send the dark flame serpent at it as both serpents crashed onto another as it created a magical surge of explosions as we covered ourselves. However, that also created a cloud of steam to obscure our vision but… I knew what I had to do… "What the-"

I managed to run towards her direction where she didn't have time to react as she dropped her sword the moment I placed my right arm to grab her head as it began to react. She couldn't fight back as if her Dark Magic was being absorbed. As it proceeds to drain all remaining Dark Magic within her… I let go on my right arm as she kneeled down.

"F-Fuck… You bested me, huh?" Yuudias said to me as I looked at her defeated look on her face.
"Yeah… Just admit your loss and disappear already. After all, I've got a score to settle with Morgan." I said to her calmly as she chuckled.
"Don't think you're too comfortable with it. Besides, even if you still go after her remaining sisters, Lady Morgan is the only person who will not hold any punches. She's a tricky one if you ask me. After all, she made some extra plans should she fall. Surely she had a vessel planned for long enough." Yuudias said as her body began to slowly fade away from existence.
"What do you mean by a vessel?" I asked her but…
"You'll understand soon enough…" Yuudias said as she disappeared into motes of magical energy, leaving a Tainted Heart as I grabbed it, my right arm reacted as it removed the heart as well as removing one of the briars… Five down. Two more to go… One of them is Morgan for sure. And just as that… the Witching Hour barrier cracks opens as it reverts back to the usual night time that we're all familiar with
"It's… over?" Adriana said as Perrine nodded.
"It is. And it's all thanks to him." Perrine said as she approached me. "Naoto? Are you unwell?"
"I'm fine…" I said as I looked at my right arm. "I'm getting there. Which should be close enough. I wonder if Seine was aware of this while we were busy fighting."
"W-Wait! Seine! Don't just fly out on your own! Why did you trick me!?" The voice of a male ran out of the hangar where I saw Seine flying as she perched on the top of my head.
"Naoto… I heard there was a Moon Witch of Sin… Is she defeated?" Seine asked me.
"Yeah. We're getting closer but… who's he?" I asked her about where the young man stood next to Perrine.
"That man here is Alain Lebled… I believe he is married to Perrine of this base despite her being a Clostermann." Seine explained who he was as I looked at her.
"This true?" I asked.
"It is. Though, I opted to use my Clostermann name to this day but…" Perrine continued. "Regardless, Alain. Let loose sometimes. I understand why Seine isn't a fan of remaining in my office. Just make sure that she gets fresh air now and often. That is Naoto's companion we're talking about."
"Yes, Lady Perrine…" Alain complied with a small bow until…
"Naoto-kun! Are you hurt? We heard what was going on! I mean, Jennifer here tried to contact you after we finished our recon but… Are you okay?" Kunika arrived in her Striker Arm as both her and Jennifer landed near me.
"I'm fine. I'm almost there. Look." I showed her my right arm as she was surprised.
"Really!? That's great! Just two more and you'll be free! And Seine-san, too!" Kunika said in excitement.
"However…" Jennifer looked around to see the whole runway and some parts of the base were left ablaze. "Just what happened exactly…?"
"We'll explain later, DeBlanc." Perrine continued. "For now, I'll have the workers extinguish those flames and try to explain what happened. Get some rest for the night. You've done well on your patrol."
"Thank you, Wing Commander. I will do just that." Jennifer said as she looked at me. "We'll talk later if you are able for tomorrow."
"I promise that I'll explain tomorrow. For now, just follow Perrine's orders." I said to her as she nodded as she hovered back to the hangar while the workers were going about their own things after what happened. "As for you, Kunika. Get some rest."
"Ehhh? But I can still keep- UWAH!" I proceeded to flick her forehead with my left hand as she covered her forehead. "ITE! What was that for!?"
"I said go to sleep. Imagine what happens if you wake up three hours later if you keep staying up late at night?" I said to her with my arms crossed as Kunika admits defeat with a sigh as her Striker Arms sputters out gray smoke behind her.
"Alright, alright… You win…" Kunika continued. "Just make sure you sleep as well. You seemed tired from all of this fighting, don't you think?"
"Of course. I blame the Moon Witch of Sin representing Wrath who proved to be troublesome after what happened. Look, I'll explain later. For now, I'm heading off to bed…" I said as I proceeded to yawn. Damn I'm really tired…
"I suppose we shall do the same. It's currently late at night as of now but we have a lot of work cut out for us. Alain, let us rest for the night." Perrine said to Alain as he nodded without speaking as the two would head back on their own. Kunika hurried back to the hangar as I had Seine on my shoulder as I decided to head back to my room and sleep.
You better get ready, Morgan… My freedom is at hand. And I will make sure that I'll deliver this judgment straight to you. Her days of cursing us will come to an end soon… I'm sure of it.
