Harry Potter: The Twi'lek Catwoman.
By TimeTraveller-1900.
Underneath her mask, Lesha breathed slowly as she crouched down on the outside of 500 Republica. So many senators resided here when they weren't visiting their homeworlds. The building was hundreds of storeys high, supported by highly advanced building materials, and built by architects and builders and engineers who had built higher and higher as space drastically became a premium on Coruscant.
Lesha's gaze flickered upwards, and as always she was taken by surprise by the sheer size and scale of the mega city which had spread over the entirety of the planet, leaving only one or two patches of indigenous wildlife and places preserved for nature. The night sky was green; the running lights of hundreds of speeders passing in the lanes as they flew over the streets moved like columns of soldiers.
In her old world, this city would be considered something out of a vision of the future.
Flicking her lekku back, Lesha grinned and focused on one of the apartments. She checked the runic stone she had prepared. She saw the senator she was about to rob was leaving for the evening. She grinned wider. Senator Padme Amidala was one of those senators who liked doing her duty, for the people, for the Republic…while Lesha personally felt the Republic had had its time, that the Separatists had the right idea, and the entire galaxy needed to have a major shake-up, one where the Senate with its corrupted senators, who plundered from everyone else, and the galaxy would be better off if everyone cared for themselves as the last few centuries had shown the Republic was becoming truly corrupted and worthless, the Twi'lek thief didn't have any harsh thoughts towards Amidala…except she felt the woman could live a few days in the real world.
Lesha waited until Amidala and her entourage were gone before she closed her eyes, and there was a violent crack-.

….Lesha found herself inside the senator's apartment, looking around, a smile on her masked face; the goggles in her eyes zooming in on the dozens of items. The woman had good taste, she noticed, pulling out a bag, and she began waving her hands around, summoning items of jewellery and other small possessions. She would need to wait for some time before she sold them off, of course; the moment the senator realised one of the people she represented had burgled her, the whole planet would be up in arms, and everyone would see more proof the senate, and those who ran it, were once more important compared to the little people.
Lesha smiled, knowing the security systems had been disabled by her magic; so many people here would confuse her for a Jedi reject, someone expelled from the order, or as another Force-sensitive who had learnt how to control their powers on a basic level, but it wasn't that mundane. No, she was a witch, and she controlled and manipulated magic. No matter how many times she had seen her powers in action, she allowed herself the chance to think about her past.
Lesha was a Twi'lek, but she was also a witch. She was a reincarnated wizard, from a planet called Earth, who had gone by the name of Harry Potter, a human wizard; at the time of her original birth, humans - magical and non-magical, hadn't yet encountered aliens despite the numerous magical species indigenous to Earth at the time.
As Harry Potter, Lesha had grown up alone, beaten, hated for her powers, aware that strange things happened around her. She had grown up terrified, wishing for love, and wishing for some far-off relative to come and save her and take her away from the Dursleys, her non-magical relatives. She had been forced to do chores, while the Dursley's son was allowed to do whatever he wanted, while she toiled away.
She nearly died several times, making her fear dying without having a worthwhile life.
But it never happened, and she was a slave to her aunt's family. Her aunt was her mother's sister, and she had grown up in the shadow of her more beautiful younger sister. While she now looked back on Aunt Petunia with pitying contempt, at the time when she had discovered the truth, and what she planned to do in the long term with her, which was to keep her spirit so battered down she would be kicked out onto the street, and become a drug-addicted junkie, which would be the finest revenge against 'Perfect Lily.' The woman had been dosed with a truth potion and when the wizarding world heard her plans, they were sickened by how disgusting muggles could be, especially to children. Ironically, the Dursleys helped the remaining pureblood supremacists in Britain, and around the world. Even when she had left, she had heard endless debates about the prospects of completely isolating themselves from the muggles.
Lesha often asked herself what Petunia had been thinking in her final moments before she died; at the time, her aunt had been wallowing in Azkaban prison and apparently died there.
Growing up, Lesha had heard how her parents were criminals; her father was a drunken, reckless thief, and her mother a whore, and they'd gotten themselves killed in a car crash.
But until she was eleven, Lesha had no idea she was magical, and she had come to wish to be unnoticed by everyone. Moments where her appearance changed, like hair colour, eyes, and so on became more frequent. She soon discovered her powers were controlled by her emotions, and while it took some time, Lesha was able to learn how to use them to help master some degree of control.

Lesha was a deeply jaded person in both of her lives. Her 11th birthday came around, and she had a letter.
Her Hogwarts letter arrived. When she received the letter, her first thought was disbelief, and worry; the Dursleys were the only ones who knew about her Cupboard under the Stairs, so it would make some sense they would be the ones to plan out a prank, as illogical as it sounded as they didn't have the imagination for such a prank. She threw the letter away and dismissed it.
Ultimately, the letters kept coming, and the Dursleys panicked, and her stupid uncle dragged them across the country, but the letters continued to follow them - Lesha often asked herself looking back if the idiot muggle had even worked out by the end of it, that the actions were not only illogical, but pointless, but then again, nobody had ever accused Vernon Dursley of being smart - before a huge man called Hagrid appeared when the Dursleys finally arrived at a lighthouse. Hagrid possessed questionable intelligence, being simple and not very smart, and barged into the place on the stroke of midnight of her birthday.
Right there and then, she learnt who she was, about her powers, and the apparent truth about her parents.
Learning that her parents had died to protect her was a huge surprise, and it comforted her a little. But she didn't like the way Hagrid told her she was now famous for surviving an attack and living, while so many others died. She knew thanks to Vernon the public loved putting their heroes up, and then tearing them down delightedly.
Hagrid took her shopping. She saw the magical world, and he told her how he had taken her to the Dursleys, on the orders of the Hogwarts Headmaster. To say she had been surprised and pissed off was an understatement, and Hagrid went on his merry way, rushing her through the alley, blissfully unaware Lesha despised him now, but she was even more hateful towards Dumbledore. How could a schoolteacher have so much power?
Seeing an opportunity, Lesha allowed Hagrid to rush her around the alley, and she waited and bided her time, and she got her chance when Hagrid put her on a train, loaded down with supplies - and an owl, of all things - and she waited until he was gone before she got off at the next stop, and simply went back.
Heading back to Gringotts, Lesha learnt the truth. She had seen a chance to learn more about her family, to actually see if there were relatives this Dumbledore guy was keeping her from. What she discovered was horrific, and her new good thoughts about her parents…vanished.
Lily and James Potter were still alive.
They had apparently faked their own deaths. The Dursleys were right, and she was incandescent with rage. They had abandoned her. They didn't want her. Lesha had asked the goblins for help in getting away from Dumbledore, but she had known she could only discover the truth if she attended Hogwarts.
It was with a dark and cold heart that Lesha went to the school, but she was armed with the magical knowledge and the means of stopping Dumbledore and his lackeys from putting spells on her and immunising her from attempts to dope her with potions, and they sent her to the railway station without her having to go there. At the same time, they gave her advice about Hogwarts, she had asked them if they could give her knowledge about some magic that could help her getaway.
A week after her arrival, Lesha went to the House Elves and asked them about the Room of Requirement. The goblins knew it was in the school, but they didn't know where it was, but they knew about the elves, and how to meet them. After meeting them, it was easy for them to show her the Room and its treasures. While she was there, she started learning some of the more arcane magical arts and even learnt more about wandless magic. She practiced her metamorphamagus powers, discovering she loved changing into feminine bodies; thanks to the room, she was able to learn more about how to become a girl, and upon remembering her fear of dying she learnt about immortality methods.
She discounted becoming a vampire. She didn't fancy sucking blood her whole life, and while the idea of being awake during the night had some attraction, she did want to sunbathe. Horcruxes, splitting her soul, disgusted her….the only method of immortality she liked was essence transfer, jumping from body to body as long as they were cloned.
And then Lesha had an idea; she would clone a female body, and then she would run away. Serious research went into cloning, and she also studied a multitude of subjects such as time travel, although it would involve travelling into a parallel world. While she put on the appearance of an average student who was willingly going along with Dumbledore's plans, secretly she was rebelling against him, and she was collecting evidence of Dumbledore's activities.
But it wasn't to last.

In her second year, things were eventful. After her first year, Lesha had been forced by Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley, who had 'befriended' her, into stopping the Philosopher's stone from falling into Voldemort's hands. Lord Voldemort. The Dark Lord said to have murdered her family. But the idiots didn't know Lesha had spent her time learning about what Dumbledore was doing at the school, and that the stone was a fake. The Flammels used essence transfer as well. Nicholas and his wife had studied alchemy for decades, trying to create a potion which would be able to transform metals into gold, while producing a potion which would grant longer life… but it failed. They could only create one of each, and that was the last thing they wanted. In the end, desperation and old age made them realise they were pursuing a lost cause, and they looked for a different alternative.
Essence transfer was the most logical option. The method was the most versatile, and it was the period it was more common.
Essence transfer had been invented by a wizard who'd sought immortality, too, but they had seen the possibility of prolonging life in their original bodies and decided it wasn't worth it. What if the body had or would be damaged? What if the spine was snapped? Or if they suffered from deafness or blindness?
The wizard decided the simpler the option, the better. And so he moved his soul into another body, and a new art was born. It wasn't long before others pursued it, including dark wizards, who used the trick to steal the bodies of their enemies, to carry on their campaigns of terror. It wasn't long before essence transfer became a dark art, and knowledge of it became banned and was destroyed. But it could be found if you knew where to look.
If she'd had her way, then she wouldn't have gone near the Stone, but she came face to face with Voldemort…and he escaped, and Dumbledore spun some stupid story about it being destroyed, but she didn't care.
She learnt how to create a golem, of herself, her things, and her owl. It was to fool Dumbledore and the Dursleys, while she went off on her own. But after meeting a crazed House elf called Dobby, who was determined to stop her from returning, Lesha decided not to return. She gave the goblins her evidence and they exposed his crimes, as well as those of Lily and James, who came out of hiding.
One thing she hated, was how Dumbledore had secretly signed her off on a marriage contract while her parents were alive, and it seemed the ICW were just as furious, as they arrested him while investigations into the Weasley family went ahead. The fact Dumbledore had the gall to do this, two days after her parent's supposed deaths was shocking, making her wonder what he was planning, but she didn't care. Molly Weasley was apparently an arrogant woman, but against the ICW, her crimes of using love potions came out, as did line theft.
Lesha, taking their advice, locked down the vaults and moved everything to a new set, and she had full access to the keys. She disowned herself and her parents afterwards, and the Potters in Britain became extinct as a result. The goblins also removed and purged a soul fragment Voldemort left behind in her head, ending the Dark Lord's threat forever.
Lesha would not know for sure what would happen until getting some basic stories later on, but what she did know was that the wizarding world went mad looking for her when she went missing. They visited the Dursleys, discovering the blood-stained cupboard clothes, and despite Dumbledore's assurances she was safe and fine, the Dursleys were arrested and charged before being thrown into prison.
Sirius Black, her supposed godfather, was revealed to be innocent of crimes which got him thrown into prison. From what she discovered later, Sirius learnt of James and Lily's survival, and was horrified to learn they had willingly left, allowing him and their own child to be wallowing in hell, and he broke off all contact.
A part of Lesha regretted just….leaving him like that, and a part of her wished she had the means of telling him what she had done, but she didn't have the means. And when she did reach an appropriate age after discovering her godfather's existence; it was far too late, Sirius Black just vanished, much like she did.
She really did feel bad about that, but it was not until she had gone to Ilvermorny, a decade later she discovered Sirius's existence. When she had tried to track him down, maybe to meet him, maybe even give him a second chance at life…it failed.
As for the magical world, when they came looking for her, they largely failed. After all, who would ever imagine the Boy Who Lived transforming into a baby girl, and being sent up for adoption in another country, and would attend that magical community's school?
It had taken a lot of time and effort and money to ensure she would arrive in the MACUSA, and just go unnoticed. But in the long run, it was something she considered worth it.
Just as she transferred her essence to a new body, a female body, Dumbledore was stripped of all of his titles, and the former Potters were disgraced when details of their disownment became common knowledge. She didn't know what became of them, she didn't care. If they'd committed suicide after her regression, then she didn't know. It got far worse when word got about him not killing Grindelwald as many thought previously, and that he had stolen from orphans and tricked others over the years. If that wasn't enough, Hogwarts was closed down while the ICW educational authorities evaluated the place. Many teachers were fired and had to be replaced.
As for Lesha, she had a second chance. She had been regressed in age, living as a baby girl in MACUSA, and when she was old enough, it was a happy child who had grown up in a magical orphanage and was sent to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. For seven amazing years, she was a top student. She was sorted into Thunderbird House. She made friends.
When she left, Lesha became a curse breaker, seeking adventure overseas. She had a family, a son and a daughter. For the next few decades, she watched them grow and attend Ilvermorny, and she grew and saw her grandchildren before she decided she wanted other adventures; in the past, Lesha was inspired to advance the growth of human spaceflight, she manipulated muggles and placed spells on the offices of muggle leaders worldwide to make them advance space technology. By the time she had left, a moonbase was built and skyhooks were put in orbit around Earth.
But she wanted more adventure, but by the time she left, she had lived for two centuries, including the decade she had lived in her original body.
Using her arcane collection of knowledge of magic, Lesha discovered how to jump to other bodies in other realities. Taking and memorising her knowledge, Lesha jumped into the body of an unborn Twi'lek girl, and she was born into slavery. When she was old enough, the young Lesha had learnt how to dance, how to seduce and entice. Soon she used her powers to win her freedom, and she went out into the galaxy and stole in order to survive.

Lesha snapped out of her thoughts and gathered up everything she had stolen, before she apparated out of the apartment. She reappeared on her ship, and she stowed away her things. After she removed her bodysuit, Lesha decided to hit the town.
