Woody's Pokémon Journeys: Awakening an Ancestor!
(AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the first episode of Pokémon the Series: Scarlet and Violet – Journeys Untold.)
Narrator: Woody's goal is to collect all the Gym Badgesin Paldea in order to qualify in the Paldea League and beat Geeta, the Champion of Paldea. Geoff's goal is to complete the Pokédex and catch every kind of Pokémon, including Mew. These are the stories and adventures of these two Trainers in the world of Pokémon.
(Woody's Rotom Phone takes a picture of Woody and his friends; the picture shows their Pokémon, including Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Appletun, Koraidon, Armarouge, and Skeledirge, alongside Faith and her Floragato, Lechonk (Male), Pawmo, Ceruledge, Shelgon, and Gorebyss. (The scene changes to show the outside of a prehistoric cave. Mordecai, Faith's ex-girlfriend and Faith were walking outside the cold and dark cave. Geoff was also there with Woody.)
Mordecai: Are you guys ready for a spectacular camping trip?
Geoff: We sure are! / Woody: Count me in!
Faith: I can't wait!
(Inside the cave…)
Faith: This cave sure is big.
Mordecai: I'll say!
Faith: Mordecai, look! There's a private hangout we can hang out in.
Mordecai: Yeah-yuh!
(Mordecai and Faith go inside the private cave. Inside the cave, there was a beautiful ocean-like hangout.)
Faith: Wow, an ocean oasis just for the two of us! We gotta go in there, Mordecai! Mordecai?
(Mordecai is seen wearing his orange floral swim shorts.)
Mordecai: What? I had to get my swimsuit on.
Faith: Good thing I packed my swimsuit.
(The scene changes to show Faith in her swimsuit. Her swimwear consists of a navy blue and pink one-piece swim dress, a pair of leopard-skinned sandals, and heart-shaped sunglasses.)
Mordecai: Wow, would you look at this place? This cave even has a sun roof.
(Faith takes off her sandals, while Mordecai blushes after seeing Faith in her swim dress.)
Mordecai: You look beautiful, Miss Faith.
Faith: Thanks, Mordykins.
(Faith and Mordecai go into the oasis.)
Mordecai: Ahhhhh, now this is what I'm talking about.
[Loud growling]
Faith: Um, what was that?
[Growling continues]
Faith: Was that you, Mordecai?
Mordecai: That wasn't me. That was someone else!
(From out of the water, a Kabutops pops out of the water.)
Faith and Mordecai: [both screaming]
(Song: The Challenge of Life)
"Rise if you're prepared for the challenge

(The scene changes to show Woody's Pikachu, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo (Male), Koraidon, Appletun, Armarouge, Clodsire, and Skeledirge, alongside Woody himself, jumping into the air, alongside Faith and Floragato, Oinkologne (Male), Pawmo, Shelgon, Togetic, Ceruledge, and her Typhlosion (Hisuian Form). Geoff and Houndoom, alongside Finizen, Veluza, Capsakid, Bramblin, Miraidon, Flamigo, Litleo, Foongus, Tandermaus, Fuecoco, Oricorio (Pa'u Style), Nymble, Grafaiai, Smeargle, Bellossom, Skunktank, Cetoddle, Swirlix, Slurpuff, Musharna, Banscream, Iron Bundle, Calyrex, Spectrier, Jynx, Gourgeist (Average Size), Polteageist, Misdreavus (Aevian Form), Zapdos (Galarian Form), Horsea, Seel, Jellicent, Snorunt, Snowlow, and Snowrong also appear alongside Woody and Hydro, with Bullwinkle and his Quaxwell, Lechonk, Greavard, and Rabsca appearing alongside the trio.)
Faith and Mordecai: [both reading the title] "Awakening an Ancestor!"
(The scene changes to show an enraged Kabutops.)
Mordecai: What the hell is that?
Faith: I don't know!
(Faith pulls out her pink Rotom Phone and scaredly scans the wild Kabutops.)
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Kabutops, the Shellfish Pokémon. A Rock and Water type. Kabutops slices its prey with its sharp scythes and drinks their body fluids through its mouth. It's very aggressive and can swim at 29 knots while in the water."
Faith: [sends out her Pawmo] Pawmo, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Pawmo: Pawmo!
Faith: Pawmo, use Thunderbolt to stop that Kabutops from hurting us!
Pawmo: {Thunderbolt attack} Paawww…mmmmmooo!
Geoff: What's going on?
Faith: That Kabutops tried to kill me and my boyfriend!
(Geoff throws a Poké Ball at Kabutops, capturing it.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Kabutops has been registered to your Pokédex!
Geoff: Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to capturing Pokémon.
Rigby: Hey, Mordecai.
Mordecai: Hi, Rigby.
Yakko: Heeeellloooo, Faith and Mordecai!
Faith: Yakko, Wakko, and Dot? What are you guys doing here?
Yakko: We wanted to take a break from Pokémon battles so Dot suggested that we should go to this Paldean cave.
And look what I found.
(A Pokémon walks over Faith, which was revealed as a Omanyte.)
Woody: What's that? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Woody's Rotom Phone chimes]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Omanyte, the Spiral Pokémon. A Rock and Water type. Omanyte is a Pokémon that came from an extinct species of Pokémon. It paddles through the ocean by using its 10 tentacles, which makes people believe it's drifting out to sea."
Omanyte: [shy] Oma?
Faith: It's okay, little guy. Hi there.
(Faith pets Omanyte's back and the Spiral Pokémon purrs like a cat.)
Yakko: Would you look at that? Faith can talk to Pokémon.
Faith: Of course, I can talk to Pokémon. All Pokémon need to understand how they feel. That's what make each and every Pokémon unique.
Geoff: I'll catch that Omanyte if you'd like.
Faith: Oh, sure.
(Geoff throws a Poké Ball at Omanyte, which was seen captured.)
Geoff's Rotom Phone: [chimes] Congratulations! Omanyte has been registered to your Pokédex!
Geoff: Sweet, I got another Fossil Pokémon!
Houndoom: [cheering] Houndoom!
(The scene changes to show Mordecai and Faith wandering around the cave. Mordecai sees a person frozen in a block of ice.)
Mordecai: Whoa, it's a block of ice!
Faith: Maybe there's someone inside it.
Mordecai: Don't be ridiculous, Faith. Cavepeople have been extinct since the Ice Age.
Wakko: Ooh, I thought you meant the movie.
Faith: The Ice Age was actually an event that occurred, causing millions of Fossilized Pokémon to go extinct.
Dot: That's interesting!
Faith: Let's build a campfire and make s'mores.
Yakko: Great idea. I'm getting chilly anyway.
(Faith and Mordecai build a campfire and make s'mores.)
Faith: Man, these are the best s'mores in Paldea.
Mordecai: Glad you love 'em, Faith. My mom hangs out with Sharon all the time and make the most delicious s'mores.
Faith: What do you want to do next?
Mordecai: How about we dance, just the two of us?
Faith: Great idea!
(The campfire, which was fill with logs, burned. Mordecai and Faith performed a hula dance. Mordecai and Faith wore their swimsuits over leis and grass skirts.)
Mordecai: Dude, this is relaxing.
Faith: I hula dance whenever I'm not doing anything important. Just hear the sounds of ukuleles and steel drums.
(The next scene shows Mordecai and Faith playing video games with Yakko and Wakko.)
Mordecai: Faith, do you think we'll ever find someone good enough to help us get out of Paldea?
Faith: I don't know, but it would be nice to find a friend who's an Eevee like me.
Mordecai: [laughs] Yeah, that would be cool.
(The ice continues to melt. A head pops out of the ice. It was an Eevee head with messed up hair. Mordecai was in his long-sleeved blue and white-striped pajama shirt and pants, going to sleep.)
Mordecai: Good night, Faith.
Faith: Goodnight, Mordecai.
Pikachu: [says, "Goodnight" to Mordecai, Faith, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot] Pika!
Dot: [wearing her short-sleeve pink nightgown] Night!
(The campfire continues to roar. The cave-eevee pops out of the block of ice. She wore a leopard-skinned loincloth-like dress and had hairy legs. She was also in her 30s.)
Mordecai: Faith, I think you go something on your nightshirt.
Faith: [wakes up] What, Mordecai? I was dreaming about a white Christmas in Paldea!
Mordecai: Um… Faith?!
Faith: What is it, Mordecai?
(Drool drops from the woman's mouth.)
Faith: [screams]
Yakko: Oh my God, it's a Pokémon Trainer!
[Woman growling]
Cave-Eevee: [growls angrily]
Faith: [sends out her Pawmo] Pawmo, help me out!
{Poké Ball opens up}
Pawmo: Pawm!
Cave-Eevee: [sends out a Poké Ball, which contains an Aevian Lapras] Go!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Lapras: [Aevian Form] Lapppp!
Faith: it's a Lapras, but why is it fossilized? {pulls out her Rotom Phone}
{Faith's Rotom Phone chimes}
Faith's Rotom Phone: "Lapras, Aevian Form. The Transport Pokémon. A Rock and Psychic type. Lapras became extinct during the Ice Age, but it was previously fossilized. It was eventually revived from crystals found in a distant cave, making its appearance change overtime."
Cave-Eevee: Use Zen Headbutt!
Lapras: {Aevian Form; Headbutt attack} Lappp!
Faith: Pawmo, use Double Kick!
Pawmo: [Double Kick attack] Paw!
(Aevian Lapras and Pawmo were head-to-head with each other, attacking each other.)
Wakko: SSSSSTTTTOOOOOPPPP!
Faith: Huh?
Pawmo: [wondering why the battle stopped] Paw!
Wakko: This cave-eevee is Francine, Faith's long-lost cousin.
Faith: What?!
Francine: [returns Lapras to its Poké Ball] Wanna be friends?
Faith: Sure.
Wakko: Looks like our team is growing stronger.
Dot: All right!
(The next morning, Francine was seen chugging down OREOs with her cousin, Faith Miller.)
Faith: Go, Francine! Eat those OREOs with all your might.
Pawmo: [cheering for Francine] Pawmo! Pawmo!
(Francine grabs onto the hot cocoa making machine and breaks it. There were two Pokémon who saw her and freaked out.)
Faith: Hey, Benson.
Benson: Faith, explain to me why there's a cavewoman version of yourself breaking stuff.
Faith: This is Francine, my ancestor. She came from the Ice-type Age.
Benson: We're not having any prehistoric ancestors in here. What is this, The Flintstones?
Faith: We can't get rid of her! She's all I have left. Well, other besides Drew and Mom.
Benson: A cavewoman can't fit in the 21st century.
(Francine punches Benson.)
Benson: See what I mean?
Faith: Her name's Francine.
Benson: "Francine"?
Faith: It's a family name.
Benson: Whatever she is, get her out of here!
Francine: Ben…soon?
(Seaweed – SpongeBob OST)
Benson: Fine. You have a week to get her civilized.
Mordecai and Rigby: Yes!
Faith: Hear that, boys? Francine is gonna get civilized!
Benson: But if that thing isn't civilized by next Saturday, I'm calling Pokémon Control Services to take her away to a history museum!
Woody: We gotta get Francine civilized before she gets taken to the Paldean History Museum!
(Woody and his friends teach Francine about begin civilized. They taught her how to talk, how to spell, read, do Mathematics, the health of their bodies, and other well-known facts about the world they live in. It was December 1st, 2023, and Francine walked downstairs.)
Faith: Nice clothes, Francine.
(Francine wore a short-sleeved red and white-striped dress, which had a Poké Ball-shaped symbol on the front, as well as a pair of red dress shoes.)
Francine: Please, call me Francine.
Lana: Good luck getting hired by Benson, Francine.
Francine: Why, thank you, Lana. You even gave me a Pokémon of my very own as proof of me being a Pokémon Trainer.
Mordecai: This is perfect, Faith. With Francine around, we'll be able to travel to Paldea.
Faith: Heck, yeah!
Francine: I can't be civilized enough unless I find love – love is someone who supports with me and who sticks up to me in bad situations.
Faith: Good idea!
(The scene cuts to show the prehistoric cave.)
Geoff: Where are we?
Faith: This is the cave on Area Three of the South Province. Maybe this is where we can find that special someone for Francine.
(The Trainers go inside the cave, and Francine pulls up a picture of her boyfriend, Richardson.)
Francine: His name is Richardson, but he's usually known as Richard.
Wakko: He looks like a handsome Eevee.
Francine: He was frozen in a block of ice like me.
Faith: How many ancestors do I have anyway?
(There were many frozen blocks of ice with cave-Eevees inside.)
Faith: Whoa, that's a lot of prehistoric Eevee.
Francine: Unfortunately, there's a bunch of prehistoric Pokémon in this cave.
Faith: Good thing we got strong Pokémon to defend from those prehistoric fighters.
Pikachu: {determined to find Richard the Cave-Eevee} Pikapika!
Woody: How are we gonna find Richard?
Francine: He has spiky hair and a handsome face.
(She stops at the sight of seeing Richard. He wore a cheetah-print loincloth skirt and muscular muscles.)
Faith: There's Richard!
Mordecai: But how do we break him out of that ice block?
Faith: Wait, Fire-type Pokémon can break through ice so I'll use Ceruledge! [sends out Ceruledge]: Ceruledge, I choose you!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Ceruledge: Ceru!
Faith: Ceruledge, use Flamethrower to break Richard out of the ice!
Ceruledge: [Flamethrower attack] Leedddgggeee!
(Ceruledge's Flamethrower successfully thawed Richard the Cave-Eevee out of the ice. The scene changes to show Mordecai and his Tyrunt.)
Richard: [makes grunting noises]
Francine: Maybe we should do something more civilized, like shopping.
Richard: [making grunting noises as if he was saying, "Francine, I don't you anymore! How could you betray me like this?"]
Faith: Uh oh!
(Richard goes on an epic rampage across Area Three of the South Province. Ceruledge uses Flamethrower to melt the other Cave-Eevees from their ice blocks, which, by the way, go on a rampage like Richard.)
Francine: We gotta save Richard before he destroys Paldea!
Faith: And Benson's waiting for Francine, but she'll go to the pound if she doesn't show up!
Pikachu: [saying, "What are we gonna do?!"] Pika, pikapi?!
Francine: But my life is more than just love.
Richard: Attack!
(An Aerodactyl, a Rampardos, and a Bastiodon attack Professor Sada's lab.)
Sada: What's going on?!
Faith: There are prehistoric Pokémon attacking Paldea!
Sada: That's impossible! Prehistoric Pokémon are extinct!
Faith: Not anymore, they aren't. Look!
(Tyrunt looks at the battle and decides to defend Mordecai.)
Mordecai: You want me to defend against Richard?
Tyrunt: [nods its head "yes"] Ty!
Francine: There's too many cave-eevee here! I might lose my job if I don't fix something. This is all my fault!
[takes out a Poké Ball]: Carracosta, help me out!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Carracosta: Carra!
Yakko: [sends out Cobalion] Cobalion, help me out, too!
[Poké Ball opens up]
Cobalion: Cobali!
Woody: What kind of Pokémon does Francine have? [pulls out his Rotom Phone]
[Woody's Rotom Phone chimes]
Woody's Rotom Phone: "Carracosta, the Prototurtle Pokémon. A Water and Rock type, and the evolved form of Tirtouga. Carracosta can eat any prey it finds so its shell can become powerfully strong. It can live in both the ocean and on land."
Mordecai: Tyrunt, use Crunch to stop Richard!
Tyrunt: {Crunch attack} Tyyyyy!
(The Crunch attack from Tyrunt didn't work.)
Woody: It didn't work!
(The other cave-eevee use both their claws and tails to attack Tyrunt and Carracosta.)
Mordecai: Tyrunt, you can do it! I believe in you!
(Mordecai's Tyrunt happily smiles at Mordecai and the Big Jaw Pokémon began to evolve.)
Woody: What's happening?!
(Evolution theme – Pokémon Legends Arceus OST)
Tyrunt: [evolving] TTTTTTYYYYYRRRUUNNNTTT!
(Tyrunt became bigger in size. There were spikes on its back and its size was comparable to that of a T-Rex.)
Tyrantrum: [roaring] Tyyyyrrraaannnttrrruummm!
Woody: Holy guacamole, it's a Tyrantrum!
Mordecai: Tyrantrum? [pulls out his blue Rotom Phone]
[Mordecai's Rotom Phone chimes]
Mordecai's Rotom Phone: "Tyrantrum, the Despot Pokémon. A Rock and Dragon type, and the evolved form of Tyrunt. Tyrantrum can easily destroy a car with only one bite from its massive jaws. Long ago, it used to be king of the prehistoric lands it once lived in before going extinct."
(Battle! Gym Leader (Last Pokémon) – Pokémon Black and White 2 OST)
Mordecai: Tyrantrum, Dragon Claw those Eevee!
(Tyrantrum uses a mighty Dragon Claw attack to scratch the bodies of Richard and Francine's Cave-Eevee ancestors. Cobalion then used Metal Claw to stop Richard from rampaging.)
Mordecai: You're in good hands, Richard.
(Woody uses a bunch of meat-filled steaks to lure the other cave-eevee into a freezer. With success, the Cave-Eevee, Richard, and Francine were in the freezer as a family.)
Faith: Don't ever forget about me, Francine.
Francine: Thanks, Faith. I owe you a reward out there. Here it is.
(Faith was given a locket with Francine and Faith's pictures inside.)
Faith: A golden locket? Oh, thank you, Francine!
Francine: Don't forget about me.
Faith: I won't.
(Don't Ever Forget – Pokémon Mystery Dungeon OST)
Faith: Don't go! Don't go!
(Faith breaks down in tears as Mordecai sits down beside Faith and hugs her.)
Mordecai: I know you're sad, Faith, but a lot of things don't last forever. I mean, you've got me by your side.
Faith: Do you find we should find a new friend?
Mordecai: Nah, I'm good with you. Faithecai wouldn't be complete without love.
Faith: [laughs] Oh, Mordecai. Where should we find next?
Mordecai: The Stony Cliff Titan, Klawf. He lives on the beach of South Province.
Faith: Can we wear our swimsuits there?
Mordecai: of course. I don't need my feathers getting chaffed from sand anyway.
Narrator: A great episode starts off a great new season as Mordecai and his ex-girlfriend Faith the Eevee head off to the beaches of South Province to defeat Klawf, the Stony Cliff Titan. Stay tuned for more exciting adventures in Paldea, as the journey continues!
