ReCap: Season 1 started out with a Young Girl named Minh Kwan. She was the only ranger of her age to become a power ranger. Honoring her mothers memories, she becomes the Yellow Ranger to fight off Robo Rita. During her time as a student, she finishes off her Freshman Year of High School while taking her Yellow Ranger duties seriously.
Her Mentor Billy (Former Blue Ranger) went away on business while Minh stayed on Earth to protect the planet. Billy went out into space to help fight with the cosmic fury rangers. After a long journey, he came back to earth to help with his company and support Minh outside of their ranger duties.
Zack Taylor is Minhs Guardian and the Former Black Ranger. He was always there for her since she was a baby. He was running for congress until his old friend Trini was killed by Robo Rita. He dropped his run for congress and worked at City Hall while supporting Minh. Later, he ends up becoming Mayor of Angel Grove, taking down former mayor Kyler Stone.
Two Months Later, after the Cosmic Fury Events. A new villain named Grande Morevil has come to Angel Grove to wreak havoc across the city. He tries to capture the older rangers. But fails to capture Minh. The Current Yellow Ranger escapes but is powerless without her older team. A few kids from her school try to help her. But Minh thinks it is too dangerous for them. She goes off to help her captured rangers.
Classmates: Austin Jacobs, Sav Bhandari, Beverly Rose, and William McDaniel rebel from the command center, they all go to help Minh and rescue the captured rangers. They take the morphers that were dropped by the rangers and teleport to Grande Morevils Lair. They save Minh and morph into the Next Generation of Power Rangers! They invade the lair, take down Grande Morevils Monsters, and help save the former rangers. After the rescue, the former rangers retire from their duties and give their morphers to the new generation.
Minh becomes the leader of the new group. She helps guide her team to help save Angel Grove and take down Grande Morevil. The new Generation learn about being High School Students while becoming rangers at the same time.
They go on a lot of adventures while learning about their inner strengths while managing their activities at the same time. Fighting off monsters, accomplishing their goals, and maturing as teenagers. Austin learns how to be the second in command while balancing all of his activities in school. Sav is a total ladies man while taking care of his business as a ranger. Beverly being a cheerleader, archery athlete, and learning how to take things seriously as a ranger. And William, the tech guy, who helps around the command center, and looks up to Billy as a role model.
Grande Morevil tries to create his own Dark Rangers by capturing the holders of the Thunderzords. But fail to capture Kimberly. Grande Morevil decides to put Beverly under control, and uses her to try and capture Kimberly instead. Rocky, Adam, Billy, and Aisha were used to create the Dark Rangers. But the rangers overpower the dark rangers, turn Beverly good again, rescue the former holders of the thunderzords (Rocky, Adam, Billy, and Aisha), and take down Grande Morevils Lair.
However, a General named 'Lady Darcine' goes on her own side mission to revive some former lawbreakers of Angel Grove.
ON TO SEASON 2!
