A few hours ago, this day was just another pleasant summer afternoon for our lovely characters, Phineas Flyyn, the young American inventor was looking at the project on the white board, but in his mind, the whole map of circuits and components was being made, so focused, that he didn't notice when the small front gate was open and in a scared way, the redhead turned around to see what or who was.
"What'ch you doing ?" The young girl scout asked curiously, with a usual smile.
"Ah, hey, Isabella'' He replied, feeling relieved knowing that was just his neighbor and best friend.
"The today's active is building a rubber ray, remember when we bounced around the world on that rubber ball ?"
''Yea, how can't forget...'' She said, cutting the eye contact with him, while holding something in her hands.
''So, imagine how incredible it would be, if ''we'' were the rubber ball ? We could reach even the tallest buildings in Danville" He asked her, in a enthusiastic form, while looking at the white board.
"Don't you think it's a little repetitive, Phineas ?" Baljeet asked, placing some components on the ground.
"That's the fun part, Nerd, Its like a sequel that nobody asked for, but it's always great to watch" Buford asked, grabbing a hammer from the toolbox.
''Phineas...'' She said, patting his shoulder to get his attention.
''There's something I want to tell you..." She continued, almost like a whisper.
"I'm all ears" He said, taking his eyes off the blueprint.
"Well, it's about this patch" She said, showing him the fabric, with a little smiley heart on it.
''Oh, it's one of your merit patches, what this one stands for ? need any help with ?''He asked, thinking in what ways he could help her achieve this.
''Yea, in truth I need... this one is emotional bravery patch, that I can only earn by getting to someone I-" Isabella explained, but like other times, her triangular savant had his attention diverted.
"Cool, Ferb ! You found the new power supply, we're gonna need that !" He said, turning his attention to his Step-brother, heading to the project, not as "all ears" as he said would be.
"Uh, Phineas ?" Isabella said with his arm stretched, trying to regain the boy's attention.
"So... you see my clueless Phineas" She said after a long sigh, looking at the patch, with disappointment in her eyes.
"I can only earn the patch by going up to someone I really like, and tell face to face that I have a huge crush on you..." She added with sadness in her heart, wondering if by the end of that day, would have such courage.
Soon the scout girl joined the rest of the boys to initiate the project, trying to keep her usual smile and happiness... hoping no one would realize it was just a mask.
"I have an idea, we could test the invention on Perry, throw him around the yard like a platty-ball, that would be fun, wouldn't ?" Buford suggested, making the others look at him in confusion.
"That's tempting, really... but no" Phineas said sarcastically, dismissing the idea but mentally asking himself, what he asks every day: "Where 's Perry ?"
Perry the Platypus has left his domestic pet guise to carry out his ''Routine Missions'' to stop Heinz Doofenshmirtz.
Using one between several secret entrances in the house, he landed in the underground shelter, removing all the snow off his coat and hat, looking at the screen, where his superior, Major Monogram, soon appeared, sitting in a hot tub. "Ah, Agent P, I see you found the new air conditioning entrance."
''And sorry about the snow'' He apologized, seeing Perry's angry look, already knowing what the Platypus was mentally asking.
''What ? the hot tub ? It's great for my back'' Answers him, noticing that the bubbles has stopped.
''Carl, more bubbles !'' Demanded him, showing the tired intern, blowing a hose to make the bubbles.
''I'm trying my best sir, why didn't it come with an engine ?'' Asked him, recovering his breath.
''I would add more 300 bucks to the bill, we don't have budget for that''
''Anyway, listen, Daville's new water tank is opening today. Mayor Roger Doofenshmirtz and his press will cover everything, the convenience of it being right next door to Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc is intriguing the OWCA''.
''We're almost certain that our old friend Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz will try to disrupt the event, given his history of disagreements with...''
''Sir, can I take a break ? I feel like I'm going to faint'' Said Carl, feeling exhausted.
''Don't interrupt me, Carl ! Do you know why I pay you ? ''
''YOU DONT PAY-ME ! and even if you did, it would probably be enough for this... stupid student credit'' Said the teenager, returning to his humiliating task.
"You know the plan, stop him from doing whatever he's going to do...''
''But before, the OWCA prepared some gear for the agents this time... we were already tired of seeing you guys without clothes... even knowing you're animals and all'' Said the Major, with a black suit aparing from the floor.
Perry soon put the new gear, suiting perfectly and matched with his hat.
''Not bad, Good luck, Agent P" Said the Major with Perry giving his salute before heading to his hover.
After a few minutes, Carl falls to the ground, just as he said would happen.
''Okay, just five minutes... maybe more'' Said the Major, noting that he might not wake up anytime soon.
Back in town, Candace was at the mall, enjoying his ''free day'' because her brothers seemed to be more relaxed in their inventions than other days, so there was no need to call their mother.
''So everything alright in your travel ?''
''Pretty much, but still our first tour, kinda nervous...''
''Don't worry about this, love, you're the best guitar men I know, although you're the only guitar men I know... in anyway this is great opportunity for people know your band talent, do the same thing you guys always did and keeping together, everything is gonna according to the plan.'' Candance said in supportive way to encourage her boyfriend, who was now out of town in a concert.
''Thanks, Darling... I wish you could be here with us'' Said Jeremy, fixing the chords of his guitar while looking through the bus window.
''Maybe next time... see you in two weeks ?'' Asked her, already counting the seconds.
''Two weeks, gonna keep your photo on my guitar...''
''Thanks, Honey... good luck''
''See ya... love you'' Said Jeremy, turning off his Phone.
''I hope he dedicates a song to me...'' Cadence thought, dialing another number.
''What'ch you doing, Stacy ?" She asked, while resting in a comfortable chair, flipping through some magazines.
"Just texting Trane, he borrow me his console you know... so I'm going to enjoy some games tonight, he recommended this one, it has some soldiers on the cover, it looks cool''
"Well, games aren't my thing... I'm sure you'll enjoy this for a long time, huh ?" Asked her already guessing that she'll have to seek for another friend to spend the rest of day until night.
''You know me, never give up.'' She said, going to the family room with a bowl full of popcorn
''Well, get them Stacy, I'll talk to you later and good luck." Said her, finishing the call and picking up another magazine.
Having only four friends and one of them being her mother, she needed more, and like the ''mysterious force'' was aware of it, you may ask why ? Because Vanessa was there too.
''Vanessa ?'' Said Candance, recognizing her, juts by the look... and clothes.
"Oh, hey, Candace, how is it going ?" Asked Vanessa seeing the happy teenager greeting her.
''You know... same thing, different day... How about you ? doin shopping ?'' Asked Candance trying to replicate the same cool and calm way of Vanessa, with the goal of impress her.
''Yeah, I'm gonna meet some friends for a movie night...''
''On nice, thats great... What kinda of movie you guys gonna see ?'' Asked Candace, trying to developing a conversation with her, but her nervousness still a obstacle... always was.
''Look, Why you don't came too ? its gonna to be nice'' Invited Vanessa, seeing the exited look in Candance's blue eyes.
''Really ?'' Asked Candace, surprised by the inviting.
''Yea, if you don't have plans of course...'' Said Vanessa with a smile.
''No... any plans, I was kinda bored if you ask me ''Said Candance, walking side by side with Vanessa.
''I just need to text my mother... she's getting worried if we pass the dinner time'' Continued her, typing his mother's number on the phone.
Back in the suburbs, the gang had the machine ready.
Phineas, the most enthusiastic, said: ''Great work guys ! we just have to see if it works''
''But everything is in place, so no worries'' Said him, giving his last look into the machine and to the checklist, to make sure everyhting was perfect;
When he was about to test it, a cold breeze hit them... unusual for the summer but it was already getting night so they didn't care.
''It's getting cold here, lucky I brought my coat'' Said Buford, putting on his light coat, thinking that not even a zombie apocalypse wouldn't stop them from having fun... what a poor choice of words.
''Why did you bring this ?'' Baljeet asked, wondering why he would bring a coat in the middle of summer, but also wishing he had brought one.
''I'm always prepared...'' Buford responded, pround that right now he had surpassed Baljeet and Isabella in terms of planning.
''Well, there are some winter clothes in my room'' Phineas said, looking at the boys, who head to his house to get warm.
''Isa ? '' He asked, wanting to know if she wanted one of his coats.
"Thanks, but I have something at my house, I'll be back in a few minutes" She said, heading to her residence, she wasn't going to let a lil breeze ruin an entire afternoon's effort.
''I was already planning wear this pantyhose anyway, didn't wanna be wearing just a dress while bouncing at the same height as a skyscraper, plus, my pink dress combined with a long white shirt make me adorable... I wish he thought that way too'' Said her looking at herself into the mirror, before headout of house
Within 10 minutes all the childrens were back, dressed in light winter clothes, the boys were wearing a long version of their usual clothes, Phineas kept his blue shorts and Ferb his purple pants and Baljeet were wearing a light blue winter cloath.
''Thanks for the coat, Phineas...'' Said Bajeet, feeling lucky that he and Phineas were of similar height.
''Anytime...'' Said the inventor with a pat on the indian boy arm, throwing four security glasses to his friends.
''Has everyone warmed up, yet ?'' Ferb asked, and they all nodded, putting on their yellow safety glasses.
''Press the button, Jeet'' Said the volunteer Phineas, afther putting his security glasses and stand in front of the blaster, needing only 5 seconds and a big flash, when his vision returned to normal, the inventor felt the same... only a collision with something will tell him that it worked.
''All or nothing'' He thought, aiming at any wall and throwing himself at it, repelling like rubber, laughing when he knew that the invention had worked.
''Great, everything according to plan'' He said, imagining the fun possibilities that rubberized human skin could give him, could even transform that day into the best day ever... poor little fella.
''Come on, guys, It's fun'' Phineas said, bouncing off the tree, doing a flip and landing on the roof of his house.
''That's good, my turn'' Said Buford, being the second, Baljeet and Ferb also had their skin turned into rubber in a short time.
"Go ahead, hit me with your best shot !" Isabella said, before being electrocuted too, feeling the power in her hands.
Now they were having fun in the yard and on the street, jumping from house to house, but something was missing... more space.
''Guys, how about we take this fun to the city ?''Suggested Baljeet and everyone agreed, looking at the beautiful sunset.
In no time they were flying through the orange colors of the sky, arriving in the city after a few jumps and with the building's help they could even make some tricks, although no civilians seemed to notice such a show.
As they were jumping and laughing, passed by the Doofenshmirtz Evil Inc tower, where Perry the Platypus landed his hover on the balcony, stepping out and clicking on the small controller so the vehicle could go away.
''Finally some good equip...'' Thought him retiring his small portable stick from his suit... walking slowly in attack position, thinking of what traps his nemesis prepared this time... which one he would fall first.
''Oh sh-'' Thought him, listening to a ''click'' on the floor and in a blink of eye, the agent was traped in somekind of disco ball.
''At least... that's new'' Thought him annoyed, knowing that now he will have to listen to Doofenshmirtz's depressing childhood monologues... and what his ''inator'' for the day would do.
''And to put salt in the injury... here comes the humiliation'' Perry continued, in thought as the giant robot known as ''norm'' approached to pick up the trapped aquatic mammal, hanging it on a wire, where the ball spun to the rhythm of disco music.
''I hope you like the song, because we're gonna listen to this for a long time...'' Said Heinz, passing by the Platypus trapped upside down and turnin off the switch, making the ball and the music stop.
"Well you see... Vanessa's having some friends over for a movie night... and I don't wanna bother, I know you understand" Said Heinz to Perry, revealing his reason for stopping the song.
''Anyway, Behold The Repulse-inator! What does he do ? you may asking... Well the lightning of this machine transforms anyone into a repulsive and ugly creature''
''Major Monogram probably told you, who's my target right ?'' Asked Heinz, rethorically, pushing the machine to the balcony, where he saw the conference of the new water tank happening... but his brother didn't show yet.
''Lets see if people still love you when you become a monster, Roger...'' Said Heinz, feeling the cold air of evening but his rage was on fire.
''But there's only one problem... this baby requires a lot of power'' Continue Heinz his monogle while looking for a power resource, so finding one, where he plugged the machine.
''Now, until Roger arrives, I prepare some pie'' Continue Heinz, putting on his gloves and receiving the ready dessert from norm.
''But it's not for you, Perry the Platypus, enjoy the music'' Said Him laughing and activating the switch, resuming the song while heading to the second floor.
Back to the Kids, specifically Isabella, that after doing a backflip and rolling, began to walk slowly down the sidewalk, until she leaned against a nearby wall... far away from the boys.
''Why I have to be so weak ? Why he have to be so oblivious... I wish things could be more simple'' Thought the fireside, with her arms crossed, confess her feelings for him had its challenges, but her excessive thinking was the biggest one.
''Oh my... the meeting with the troops'' She said looking to the left and seeing the Fireside girls' apartment.
In one of the apartments the Firesides were chatting, every afternoon they had a meeting to discuss which patches they were going to get tomorrow, the next day's activity... or just pass the time before going home.
"If she said she would be here, she would be here !" Gretchen said to the others, knowing that Isabella wouldn't break her word... just like steel... it was malleable, but can never be broken.
"I bet 20 dollars that wherever she is, it has something to do with Phineas" Holly said, knowing there was no way she lost the bet.
''Holly, we're girl Scouts, they don't pay us that much...''
''And how about the month's money that we received from our parents ?''
''I keeping mine to buy a new doll for my collection'' Said Katie, flipping trought a magazine full of toys announcements.
''A new beret... and maybe a new dress'' Said Gretchen, already having in mind which ones would be.
''So how about muffins ?'' Suggested Holly, knowing that everyone there sells more cupcakes than they eat, so their ''free muffins'' tickets should be enough to set up a casino.
''Now that's better... but its already pass the time, where could she be ?'' Millie asked to Gretchen, reading a magazine but her attention went to the window when they heard a sound.
''Girls, someone is on the window... strange, there are no ladders'' Adyson asked to everyone, who turned their attention... wondering who could reach this high.
''Hang on, let me check...'' Gretchen said, approaching to open it, and her leader appeared by surprise.
"Hello Gretch !" She said, jumping one time.
''Sorry for the delay...'' She continues, jumping again.
"So what'cha you guys doing ?" She asked, finally stopping to sit on the window and place his feet inside the apartment, starting to walk to greet his troop.
"Waiting for you, where have you been ?" Asked Gretchen, closing the window.
"I was at Phineas's and I got rubberized by a machine they built" She responded, sitting in a chair near the counter, sounding so normal, like an everyday event... and was, truly was.
"Holly gets the Muffins...'' Millie announced to the delight of the African-American girl scout, who went to the corner of the room to get a box full of muffins.
''Looks sad, Isa'' Gretchen said, putting some apple juice on a cup and handing to her leader, already knowing the reason for such a semble.
''Yea...'' She said, drinking some of the juice, while involve the patch in her hands.
''Let me guess, he didn't pay attention to you ?'' Said Gretchen, with her arms crossed.
''You were afraid ?'' Added Adyson, knowing what has in those eyes.
''Overthink ?'' Millie said with all the girls guessing what was this time, it's not like that already happened before.
"To be honest... all of them" Said Isabella, knowing that his platonic love was a goal so far and so close at the same time.
''I don't know what to do... when I walk towards him, I feel so strong, that everything could be incredible... but as soon as I open my mouth"
''You freeze again... C'mon Isa, Love shouldn't be predictable, you just need to ''jump'' right into it !'' Katie said, making a confession sounds like the easiest things on the world.
''No puns, please... speak english" Isabella said, drinking some more juice, knowing what her friend did.
"The blonde is right, just tell him how you feel, mon ami, after all, he thinks you're a cute'' Said Gretchen using her french scent.

''Thats for sure, they have more energy than a nuclear power plant, only losing for their hearts...'' Adyson added, appreciating someone having energy to build a roller coaster but doing this for fun... it's such an honorable act.
''More than a cute inventor, he is an artist, someday I want him to draw me like his projects'' said Katie, lying on the sofa imagining how cute she would look drawn by hand.
''He's a nerdy dream...'' Millie added in a lovely voice, sounding like she was dreaming.
''Girls...'' Isabella said, snapping her fingers, making her troop look at her.
''Are we still trying to convince me to talk to him ? Because I seeing little hearts in your eyes'' She said, emphasizing the way they were talking, it looking like they wanted to take the Patch... maybe more than that.
''Of course we are, Isa... What else could we be talking about ?'' Said Millie with a smile.
''Yeah... Phineas is my best friend, he won't make fun of me or anything like that'' She said finishing what was resting of her drink in one shot
''I'm just afraid he probably won't listen to me, but I'll try'' She said, retiring herself from the chair and opening the window.
''After all, you could get another patch, nothing makes a fireside happier than a new patch, so what do you say, Izzy ?'' Added Gretchen a new reason for her leader give a shot.
"I'll do it'' She said, letting go of the window and bouncing on the sidewalk.
''I'll text you guys about what happened later tonight, talk to you girls later'' Isabella said, already jumping to reach his loved one... figuratively and literally.
''Good luck, Boss'' They replied, laughing shyly knowing that the plan worked, making her a little jealous will eliminate all that overthinking, but in fact the qualities they mentioned were what they liked most about their crushes and they all came from Phineas and Ferb ... but none of them were the inventors, except Gretchen's crush.
