Chapter 509 Monster Surprise

Finn and his allies pulled out their weapons as they quickly grouped up and got in front of the now monster transformed Gravity Falls humans as LeChuck's boat got closer to shore. A ring of fire created by the ship's cannons surrounded the group of heroes and their allies preventing them from running and escaping and it seemed to have a very negative affect on a couple of the humans turned monsters. Mabel now seemed to have a tougher time breathing and she was sweating a lot, mostly likely due to the fire and being a mermaid. Soos looked like he was becoming stiff and solid, most likely due to the heat from the fire and for being a clay golem. The situation wasn't looking good.
The ship dropped anchor near the shore and long gangplanks lowered down to allow the pirate crew of monsters to storm out and face the heroes and surround them. Toffee stood in the center of the enemy horde alongside LeChuck, Rasticore, Koba, Angelica, and Dominant Elise. The heroes and their allies immediately recognized Toffee from the spa.
"Toffee?" Asked Finn.
"Surprise!" Said Toffee as a twisted sadistic grin appeared on his face as he leered at the group causing everyone to flinch.
Toffee let out a chuckle as his face return to it's normal calm expression.
"Hello agin. I hope you enjoyed your spa day, because it'll be the last one you enjoy. I see some of you are experiencing some drastic transformations to your anatomy. You can thank me for that." Said Toffee.
"You're the one responsible for this?" Demanded Ford.
"Guilty as charged. I put a little something extra in the spring to transform all the humans in your group and I'm glad it worked spindly. Admittedly I had hoped to infect Finn as well, but that assassin interfered and messed that bit up, but other then that my plan worked brilliantly." Said Toffee.
"Change them back!" Said Phoebe burning with rage.
"Now why oh why would I do that? You all are the enemy to both my master and my comrade Laser Wizard, who is currently after Horror's Hand. I'm just simply trying to make things easier for them by making your quest much more difficult." Said Toffee.
"You work for the Lich?" Asked Finn.
"I do indeed. Right now I'm working with the Gunslinger Lich who was created from a small physical bit of the Lich and his essence." Said Toffee.
"Will stop him and Laser Wizard and then will deal with the Lich and the rest of the organization." Said Finn.
"I do admire your spirit Finn, but that is much easier said then done. First you have to go through me and my allies as well as protect your precious friends who by the looks of things are having a really difficult time moving their bodies and aren't going to be able to defend themselves making them into easy targets." Said Toffee.
"I'm going to enjoy killing them and anyone who gets in our way." Said Elise Dominant.
"Elise? What are you doing here? Didn't you leave with Samantha and her friends?" Asked Gata.
"I'm not the Elise you know. You could say I'm her, but better." Said Elise Dominant.
"So you're like a split personality or something?" Asked Fern.
"Let's just say we're sisters in a matter of speaking. You may call me Elise Dominant.
"Ok she's weird." Said Jake.
"Alright everyone get ready to fight!" Said Finn.
"We must focus on both offense and defense!" Said Huntress Wizard.
Heckapoo created some clones to gather Dipper and the other former humans. Rock Wizard quickly took charge of defense by quickly conjuring some rock walls in front of the humans turned monsters to give them some protect. Hunter Wizard, Huntress Wizard, Rock Wizard, Heckapoo, Vivian, and Rain stood around the little group and their rock wall to protect them.
"Get them lads! Cut them to pieces!" Ordered LeChuck to his crew.
The pirates yelled as they charged forward and began to do battle with the heroes and their allies. Finn, Jake, and Fern punched down several of the charging pirates as they tried to get at their leaders and superiors. Fern tried to stretch his grass limbs out towards Toffee hoping to capture him and quickly put a end to the fight, but Rasticore quickly stepped in with a chainsaw and swung it at Fern's limbs cutting them a bit and forcing Fern to retreat as Rasticore advanced towards him. Jake tried to get at Toffee, but Koba fired a strange cloud of yellow smoke at the dog that struck him in the face that made his eyes water.
"What is this?!" Yelled Jake as he stumbled around slightly blinded.
"It's a low level poison that has the affect of temporarily blinding and confusing people." Said Koba.
"Well I can still slightly see you and I got plenty of limbs to throw at you!" Said Jake as he produced a dozen arms from his body and flung them at the young wizard.
Koba easily dodged them all and Jake tried to attack him from behind with more arms in a surprise attack, only for Koba to dodge those as well.
"Nice try, but you have to be better then that. My senses are very powerful, so you won't get me so easily." Said Koba before he pulled out a flute.
"What's that thing you got?" Asked Jake squinting his eyes.
"A magic flute to summon a special friend." Said Koba before he blew into the flute.
There was a flash of light from the water nearby and Sunekura the giant snake monster rose out of the water hissing before swinging her tail and smacked the four Wizard Cops, Brain Wiz, and Jake through the air.
"Time to go mech BMO!" Said Gata.
BMO was about to change into his mech form, when Koba fired some blue slime from his hands that struck BMO. The two Eliminators tried to blast Koba, but he dodged their shots and fired some more blue slime at the robots. The Eliminators tried to suck the slime up with their black holes, but the slime curved around them and struck the robots.
"What's that supposed to do? Robots are immune to poison." Said Gata.
"That may be true, but that particular poison is very sticky and should be more then enough to cause some damage to the robots inner workings." Said Koba.
Both BMO and the Eliminators began to spark a little bit and jerk around like crazy. Gata gasped and tried to go help them, but Elise Dominant jumped in and knocked Gata to the ground with a tail whip and a couple of pirates grabbed her.
Phoebe blasted some pirates away and then she leaped into the flames that surrounded the area and pushed them to the sides to give a clear path for escape, since things weren't going too well. Sunekura used her tail to splash some water at Phoebe forcing her to fly away to avoid getting hit. The giant snake then unleashed a cloud of poison that Koba grabbed with his magic, adding his own poisons to it, and hurled it at the rock walls surrounding the Gravity Falls gang. Rock Wizard, Hunter Wizard, Huntress Wizard, Heckapoo, and Rain jumped out of the way of the poison cloud as it struck the wall and began to eat through it! Heckapoo quickly created some clones to move the Gravity Falls gang to safety. Pacifica cursed silently to herself as a couple of Heckapoo clones carried her. She was unable to stand on her own or use her bow and arrows, but she might have another way to fight back and defend herself and her friends.
"Rain I need some water to help fight these guys!" Called Pacifica.
Rain who was looking after Mabel as she was carried by some Heckapoo clones sent a medium size sphere of the water towards Pacifica who stabbed her Celestial Spirit Key into it.
"Open Aquarius!" Said Pacifica.
There was a flash of light and Aquarius appeared with a scowl on her face, which quickly turned to confusion as she saw Pacifica in her current monster form.
"What the heck happened to you? Were you trying to mimic my look to get boys, but messed along the way so now you're a snake lady instead of a mermaid?" Asked Aquarius.
"No! Some jerk did this to me and now he and his jerk friends are trying to kill us!" Said Pacifica.
"Well can't be having that. Fine I'll do away with them, on the condition you fix your situation." Said Aquarius.
"Fine." Muttered Pacifica.
Aquarius turned to the pirates and began to unleash waves at water sweeping a good deal of the pirates away, hitting the robots and removing the poison slime from their systems, and freeing Gata in the process. It looked like the tide was turning, but then Angelica stepped in to join the fight.
"Two can play at this game. Open Scorpio!" Said Angelica as she produced a Celestial Spirit Key and twisted it in the air.
There was a flash of light and a tall, lean-built, dark-skinned man with short hair that is red on one side and white on the other appeared. He had a large tail-like gun that was shaped like a scorpion's tail that had the word "Antares" written on it. The spirit had no shirt but had a flower-shaped collar that was red and trimmed with gold around his neck. He had a red sheet-like material around his waist that was kept up by his large belt that had the Scorpio symbol on it. The last thing he wore were black shorts and had bandage-like material wrapped around his arms and legs.
"We are here!" Said Scorpio.
"Scorpio?!" Said Aquarius in surprise.
"Hey girl, what cracking? You ready for a date?" Said Scorpio.
"Sure am!" Said Aquarius floating over to Scorpio.
"Wait?! What?!" Said Pacifica looking confused.
"He's my boyfriend." Said Aquarius.
"Permission to leave and go out on a date with my girl?" Asked Scorpio looking at Angelica.
"Permission granted, go have yourselves a good time." Said Angelica with a smile.
"Great! Thank you!" Said Scorpio before he and Aquarius vanished in a flash of light.
"Nicely done Angelica. Now let's go deal with these people." Said Toffee as he appeared next to Angelica and the two of them began to walk towards the Gravity Falls gang and their defenders.
Rock Wizard, Hunter Wizard, Huntress Wizard, and Heckapoo tried to rush at Toffee, but he pulled out his magic stone and revealed it hand a bone handle turning the stone into a weird magic wand, which he fired a blast of green energy that slammed into the four wizards knocking them away. Toffee and Angelica continued to advance towards the Gravity Falls gang, the Heckapoo clones helping them, and Rain. Pacifica quickly looked through her keys and found the Polaris one.
"Open Polaris!" Said Pacifica twisting the key and summoning the large bear spirit.
"Alright! Let's see you beat that!" Cheered Dipper.
Toffee was about to use his wand, but Angelica stepped forward pulling out four strange gold coins she tossed into the air.
"Come forth Shamsiel!" Said Angelica.
There was a flash of light and a giant stone-like, winged cherub with a pompadour hair-style appeared.
"Sup!" Said the new being.
"What the hell is that thing?!" Said Stan.
"I think it's supposed to be some kind of angel!" Said Ford.
"Kind...of cute." Mumbled Mabel.
"Get them Shamsiel!" Ordered Angelica.
Shamsiel rushed forward and Polaris met his charge and the two giants collided and began to grapple with each other. The two fighters seemed to be evenly matched in terms of strength, until two pigs in pink lamb suits suddenly poked out of Shamsiel's hair and fired light lasers at point blank at Polaris sending him flying back and nearly crashing onto the Gravity Falls gang!
"I win!" Declared Shamsiel giving a thumbs up.
"That tears it! Ford you look after the kids! I'm going to go try and take that lizard guy out and buy you all some time to escape!" Said Stan as he charged forward.
"I'll back you up!" Said Wendy as she charged after Stan with her axe.
Stan wasn't sure what he could do exactly, but he knew his body was now heavier and made of stone, so he knew he could probably throw a pretty strong punch that should knock Toffee for a loop. Toffee remained perfectly calm as Stan charged him and brought up his wand. Instead of firing a beam of green energy, he fired a ball of yellow light the size of a bowling ball that slowly drifted towards Stan. As Stan reached the ball of light, he suddenly found it hard to move and his limbs began to freeze in place!
"What the?!" Yelled Stan in confusion and horror before he completely froze in mid-step.
"Stan!" Cried Ford and Dipper.
"Gargoyles are strong, but they turn into statues under the light of the sun. My sun spell was very affective." Said Toffee with a smirk.
"It burns!" Yelled Gideon in pain as some of the light touched his vampire skin making it burn and forced Gideon to retreat away from the light.
"You!" Yelled Wendy as she charged at Toffee swinging her axe.
Toffee dodged Wendy's blows as he backed away. Wendy was indeed stronger then she had been before, but she hadn't fully adjusted to her newfound werewolf strength. Toffee reached into his pocket and pulled out a vial of some red powder and hurled it at Wendy. Wendy yelled in pain as she felt a intense burning sensation in her nose that made her drop her axe and fall to the ground.
"Werewolves are strong and have good senses, but some strong spice powered can really do some damage to their senses." Said Toffee as he picked up Wendy's axe.
Toffee raised the axe up high to strike Wendy, when a blue blur slammed into Shamsiel's face and knocked the angel to the ground. Toffee turned to see that it was Finn glowing brightly with his Olympian Power that had delivered the blow. The villain only had time to blink his eyes before Finn raced at him and delivered a punch to his chest shattering several of Toffee's ribs in the process as he dropped Wendy's axe and was sent flying and crashing into a cave wall. Finn stomped towards Toffee as he staggered to his feet spitting out some blood as his healing factor went to work.
"Aaa. The great hero of Ooo. I see your power is no joke, but despite all your powers and skills, you couldn't protect your human allies from monsterification. It was only luck you didn't meet the same fate." Said Toffee with a smirk.
"Turn them back Toffee." Said Finn.
"I could, but I won't. That really wouldn't be in the best interest of me and my allies." Said Toffee pulling out his wand.
"Then I'll just make you do it." Said Finn.
Before either Finn or Toffee could make a move a a dozen glowing blue energy spears and a dozen large fireballs suddenly flew through the air and exploded around the area taking out more pirates. Finn turned to see Undyne, Viper, and Quote charging onto the scene along with Toriel, Jenka, Sheo, Sly, Isaac, Hornet, and Baby Depression. Reinforcements had arrived! Toffee just scowled as he saw some of the energy spears and fireballs strike the pirate ship doing a good bit of damage to it. The villain fired a blinding light that temporarily blinded and distracted Finn before he took off running.
"We're falling back." Said Toffee to LeChuck as he reached the captain.
"Retreat!" Yelled LeChuck to his crew.
The pirates and other villains quickly fled back onto the ship and Toffee used his wand to amplify his voice.
"You may have survived this round, but this is far from over. I delivered a critical strike to your team that has weaken you. When next we meet things won't work out for you."
The pirate ship drifted away as the heroes and their allies went to tend to their wounded. It was hollow victory for the heroes as they now had to deal with the damage Toffee had done to the Gravity Falls gang.
