Hey guys, thanks very much for the reviews in the last chapter and those who sent me messages with questions and feed on what I should do next. They where a big help and I hope you all enjoy the next chapter.
His eyes opened instantly, he was lying down on something soft, there was a gentle aroma in the air. Within the second of opening his eyes, he felt welcome here, wherever he was. Without moving Clark could see a wooden ceiling and the smell the wood gave off was almost overwhelming for him. Like it was being enhanced by something he couldn't see. Though after a moment the most recent of his memories caught up to him and the flashes of his final attack on Darksied returned.
There was confusion, he was floating in space so how did he get here? Sitting up from where he was, Clark looked around himself and could see the décor around him. It was all wood, it was a light beige and it almost seemed to shimmer slightly and when he focused with his eyes, the iris's twisting and narrowing light a camera a lens "Magic" he said quietly to himself as he looked through the different spectrums of light. The wooden walls where practically made of the stuff. Knowing that magic was not something he got along with, Clark quickly looked down to his right and sighed in relief when he saw the ring that Zatanna gave him was still there.
That was when he noticed that he was still wearing his uniform. Looking behind him he could see that he was sitting on a bed. Sliding off Clark stood on his own two legs and examined himself, he felt sore and stiff but that was not too surprising. He did make himself the filling for a planet sandwich, being honest he was surprised that he was able to stand at all. Taking a closer look around the room, the wall weren't solid pieces of wood but it seemed like there where dozens of different roots or branches pushed together to seal it into a room. He could make out a door off to the side that didn't seem to strong but he knew that magic could be deceiving like that. He also couldn't help but notice what must have been hundreds of leafs scattered around the walls and ceiling.
Turning around he saw a wooden bench and a small fountain that held running water. His eyes widened when he noticed something or more accurately something didn't notice. Looking down to his wrists, he could see that even though he was wearing his uniform, the bracelets of submission where gone, as well as the lasso of truth, reaching behind himself even the Trident of Atlan was missing as well. This did not make him feel better and he was about to make his way out of wherever he was in order to search for them but stopped when the sound of walking hit his ears.
Quickly turned to face the door as it opened, his eyebrows rose at the sight that greeted him. It was a woman clearly, she was a little but shorter than himself, dark green hair that both flowed behind her but was also tied in a bun on top. But that wasn't what he noticed the most, of course she was incredibly beautiful, he'd be a fool not to notice that. Even with the large ears that might just to the largest he's seen on any alien and the brightly glowing eyes. No what he noticed the most was the amount of magical power coming off her.
She stopped mid step when she saw that he was standing and looking at her, she seemed to get over the surprise quickly though "ꎇꀎꉓꀘꍟꋪ ꃅꂦꅏ ꍏꋪꍟ ꌩꂦꀎ" she said in a gentle voice without moving from her spot.
Clark tilted his head at her "I don't understand you" he said calmly.
The woman frowned at his words, clearly just as confused as he was "ꂦꃅ ꎇꂦꋪ ꎇꀎꉓꀘꌗ..." she started taking a step forward but when she did Clark placed one foot behind him and turned his body sideways, a clearly guarded position. Something she could understand based on the way she stopped and took a step back when he did that.
Though she didn't seem deterred, Clark had to give her that. She raised both her hands towards him in a gentle gesture, thankfully for everyone she didn't seem the use the magic she had against him in any way. She did take another step forward but unlike last time he didn't make another statement that she should stop given the peaceful gesture she still held. He wanted to ask who she was, but he also knew that it wouldn't do any good. When she stopped in front of him, she very calmly and with a smile directed at him. She placed a hand on his arm.
Knowing that Zatanna's ring would protect him from any magical influence she may have tried to use on him. She gestured to the bed that he was still standing next to him and after a moment, he decided that maybe a little trust was needed. He sat down on the bed and starred at her, she smiled and took a step back from him. Then when she could tell that he had all of his attention, she placed both her hands onto her chest "Tyrande" she said.
Clark tilted his head when he heard that, it was gesture he could understand, he hoped. With aliens you could never be sure, but he hoped that the human gesture meant the same thing. Though he didn't know if she meant that as a name for herself or species. Doing the same gesture he pointed to himself, it took him a moment to think about what he should say. It could be said that he has two names, Clark and Kal. Who was left to call him Clark? The only ones who did that where his human friends and family, but they were all gone, everyone else. Diana, Kelex, the Lanterns, J'onn and even Darkseid called him his birth name. Maybe it would be for the best "Kal" he said, and she gave him a gentle smile.
Tyrande smiled as she looked down to the man who sat in front of her, she should have expected that he may not speak their language. She was just to distracted by everything that happened in order to remember, his arrival was chaotic to say the least. It was four hours ago now and the fire was put out, the damage on the other hand was substantial, many homes were damaged, dozens of injuries and that area of the forest wouldn't be the same for a while.
Not that it was his fault, she thought. This was the one Elune was telling her of, there was no doubt about that and when Shandris first brought him to the great tree she immediately knew he was not human, he was something else entirely. She knew that when she first saw him but when she had him moved to the temple for healing which she herself oversaw, that's when it became much more evident to everyone.
The first thing she did was ease the minds of her people and had his weapons taken away. The three-pronged trident did not help with the easing of minds, given that only one group of people use tridents as weapons and that's not considering just how powerful that weapon was. Tyrande knows the blessing of a deity when she sees one and there was no doubt in her mind that the trident held one. But that left only another question, which deity? It's one that she has never had an interaction with before.
To make things even more confusing, his other pieces of armour held a blessing as well. The complete suit of blue and red that seemed to be one solid piece of clothing he wore was very tough and no matter how much they tried; they couldn't remove it. The pieces of amour he had on his wrists on the other hand, could be. Once removed, she checked them again and it was the same as before. They had been blessed by a deity but to make a matter even more confusing, it was different from the trident. What sort of man holds two pieces of equipment that holds two different godly blessings? And it gets even more confusing when the golden lasso that was taken was the same. A powerful artefact blessed by a god.
She wouldn't even guess what each of them did and she didn't want anyone to mess with them, which is why for the moment they were sealed away until she knew that this man could be trusted. While she trusted the wisdom of Elune, the people most of the time need something more concrete than words from her.
Then there was the man himself, she knew he was strong. That was clear the second she touched him, his skin was unmoving, his muscles felt like that of Elementium plate. And all spells that were used to try and measure his health were stopped by a magical barrier that originated from the ring resting on his finger. While she was sure that they could get through that eventually with a little more power, she didn't want to come off as too aggressive.
Now that she stood in front of him, she was glad she didn't as he seemed to be somewhat rational, even in a completely unknown place surrounded by complete strangers, he still seemed to trust that she wasn't going to harm him. Knowing that it may take a very long time in order to learn a completely new language, she had a way to speed up the process, but she would need Elune to do it. Though that presented its own problems, especially considering he seems to hold the favour of other gods.
Taking a step forward, she stood right in front of him. She reached out and gently grabbed his hand, which he did allow "I'm not your enemy" she said while allowing the calmly influence of Elune to wash over her. All she could do was hope that he would not turn hostile when he felt her presence.
Tyrande could feel the familiar power of Elune flow over herself and drift over to him, which he defiantly felt as when it did he quickly stood from the bed, knocking her back as he did which just showed her the high level of strength he had. Now she was no simple Night Elf woman, she was the high priestess of Elune and has been for over ten thousand years. A mare man could not just knock her over when she was guarded against it.
Though he did and she was unable to stop herself from grunting as she fell, that combined with the sound of her body hitting the ground. Which to be fair wasn't too loud, but it was enough for the sentinels outside to hear and they both quickly rushed in with their bows drawn "Priestess!" the one of the right said, Tyrande didn't recognize her based on voice alone. Turning around from the ground as she landed on her stomach, she looked up just in time to see an arrow being fired from a bow.
Before her eyes could widen in horror at what had happened. The man raised his hand and caught the arrow right out of the air, anyone would be amazed by the speed this man must possess but the other sentinel wasn't deterred and fired her own arrow. Unlike the first, the man didn't catch it, no. Instead, he used the arrow he was still holding and deflected the arrow out of the air and forcing it to imbed itself in the ceiling.
"Wait!" she shouted as the two sentinels drew more arrows, she shot to her feet and moved in between the three, her hands held out one facing the archers and another facing him "Stop! It was just a misunderstanding!"
Thankfully they both seemed to heed her words "but... priestess" one tried to say.
"I thank you for your care" she spoke calmly before looking over her shoulder to look at him "but I don't think he's going to hurt me"
'Well, this is just great' Kal thought to himself as he saw the woman he had just knocked over stand in between him and his would-be attackers. He wanted to say primitive, due to the use of bows and arrows but when he looked down to said arrow that he was holding while the green haired woman. Tyrande if he understood her wording correctly. There was a reason why he choose to grab the projectile instead of letting them bounce off of him, when he looked at the arrow in his hand and he could tell that it was magically enhanced.
A few years ago he wouldn't have been able to see it clearly but after years of war with Darkseid and fighting all manner of minions, he's gotten used to the sight and feeling of magic. The ring on his own finger helped as well. Looking back up he could see that all three of the women were looking at him, one was clearly ready to fire another arrow. Applying a little bit of pressure, the shaft of the arrow snapped in two in his crushed fist and fell to the ground.
He knew that wouldn't help the situation and based on the way they all tensed at the action, he was right. But to be fair, he's been through a lot. To him, he only just ended the war with Darkseid not even an hour ago. However, Tyrande didn't seemed deterred. She walked forward and grabbed his hand, completely uncaring of the damage he could do. And he could do a lot, Kal's gotten into the habit of scanning people to make sure they're not a threat and how quickly they can be taken down.
The second Kal saw her, he scanned her and while he could admit, she was a real specimen. Her bones where strong, muscles nothing to scoff at, lungs and heart incredibly healthy. If she where a human, he would have said that she underwent a type of augmentation. Not to mention the magical energies she was giving off relived that of Zatanna. When she tried to pull him away, he didn't move, he didn't fight back per say but he didn't cooperate either.
When she looked down at him with a surprised expression, most likely due to the ease he had to not even move the arm she was grabbing, it was like a child trying to pull on the arm of a statue. Looking over her shoulder, Kal saw the two other women look at him before sighing and placing their bows back on their backs. Deciding that they were trying to be more... nice. He started to walk forward, Tyrande smiled at him in thanks as she led him out of the room he woke up in.
His arm still being held by her hand, he was led through a long wooden corridor. It was full of other people of the same race. Mostly woman but there were a couple of men as well. All of which turned to face them, when looking at Tyrande they gave her a polite bow but their eyes remind on him, suspicion evident. Though what he really got from all of this was that Tyrande seemed to hold a lot of respect from the people around her.
He once again found himself surprised as the wooden walls around him, seemed to slowly change and branch off the further along they went, soon the wooden walls where gone, replaced with a white marble. 'What kind of building was this?' He could help but ask himself. After another few minutes Tyrande led him into a large atrium like area that to be fair was very beautiful.
On first glance he would say that it seemed like a type of temple. Too what? he had no idea. But in the middle of the atrium was a large statue of a woman holding up something that acted as a fountain. The ground beneath him was a soft grass and there where even trees spread about the place. Whoever these people where, it seemed they really liked nature.
And there were a lot more people here, he really didn't know what to think about them. They seemed civilized and had a very strong magical presence but looking closer he could see that they didn't have any power, no electricity, swords, bows and staffs. Ok so they were primitive, not too bad. If they were peaceful and explain how he got here, he would say things worked out well.
As Tyrande led him around the large fountain in the centre of the temple, Kal stopped walking as he felt a familiar presence around him. Something that gave him great relief. Tyrande looked at him in question when he suddenly stopped and she nearly found herself falling backwards due to the sudden stop. Kal ignored her as he walked quickly around the fountain and since she didn't let go of his arm, she found herself almost being dragged around by him.
Once he reached the other side of the fountain, where the front of the statues body faced. But Clark wasn't looking at that, no he was facing the water underneath it. Right there, laying calmly under the crystal-clear water of the fountain. Was Atlans Trident, the Bracelets of Submission and the Lasso of Truth.
Turning around he faced Tyrande who had let go of him and stood calmly and gestured to the gear 'was this some kind of act of faith?' he asked himself. Deciding that he couldn't afford not to take them, he reached down into the water and grabbed the handle of the trident ignoring the muttering of all the people from those around him.
'Oh Elune, please be right' the high priestess throughout to herself as she held a hand flat out behind her, telling all the sentries to stay where they are. She knew this was a risk, by Elune she knew she shouldn't be doing this. Returning the powerful weapons to someone she knew nothing about who own their own seemed incredibly powerful.
It was an act of faith, she knew that. The only solace she had that could quell her nerves was that her goddess hasn't let her down before. Least of all within her own temple and when this man's hand reached into the water, she could feel the warmth of Elune spread across her, as if she was being given a pat on the back.
Letting her curiosity get the better of her she slowly walked around the man until she stood by the man's side, while she was a little further behind him, she was also close enough to see the inside of the fountains water "Lady Tyrande, are you sure about this?" one of the guards behind her asked.
"No, I'm not, but I have faith" she answered honestly. Though her attention started to wane away from the guards when this Kal's hand grabbed the shaft of the trident a very small ripple went across the surface of the water, it was so subtle she nearly missed it. Slowly a glow of gold filled her eyes more and more until the tip of the metal found its way out of magical water and when she looked with her elven eyes, she could make out small tendrils of Elune's essence almost slivering around his hand but it seemed unlike last time when she tried it, he didn't notice.
When the weapon was completely out of the water, Kal turned around and held the weapon in a tight grip to his chest. She found herself taking a step back when sparks of lighting spread around the three prongs and the bladed bottom to the ground. Though before any of the guards could even attempt to draw their weapons again, it stopped. Kal closed his eyes and sighed before placing it on his back and it seemed to fit behind the red cape. When his eyes met her, he smiled and nodded before turning around to grab the rest.
What came next where the thick and admittedly beautifully crafted bracelets, holding one in each hand. Tyrande found herself tilting her head in confusion as they seemed far too small to hit past his hands, but her eyes widened when Kal started to push them onto his hands, they grew around his hands. She had to admit, that was a very impressive piece of magic that she has not yet seen before, while she was sure it was possible for regular armour, Divine blessed pieces? Of that she doubted.
Just another reason to learn how this man speaks as much as possible, the list of questions she had seemed to get longer and longer. As much as she hated to admit it, time was of the essence. Fandral Staghelm was currently in Ashenvale trying to regain control of the situation after Kal's... arrival. Malfurion's second was the current Arch Druid while her love was within the Emerald Dream and has been for some time. Unfortunately, in the time of them working together, she has gotten to know him well and she knows how quick to anger he can be. The complete opposite to how a druid should be and was one of the many reasons she loathed the man.
Her trail of thought was interrupted when Kal seemed to secure both of the armour pieces on his forearms, twisting said arms around to inspect them closer. Nodding in satisfaction to himself, he looked into the water to the final item. The golden Lasso, being honest with herself, it was that item that intrigued Tyrande the most. It was the only one she wasn't certain what the use of it was, she doubts it was just for tying things up. Pulling up the last item which was already tied up in an almost perfect 'O' shape onto his waist.
Wait what?
Looking closer at the man's waist Tyrande yet again found herself being surprised by him. The suit he was wearing, it seemed to move on its own. Looking to the golden rope, she could see that it was hanging from a small piece of the suit separate itself from the rest, wrap around the top of the rope and connect again with the large part. What kind of magic was this?
Looking over himself, Kal seemed let out a great deal of tension. The smile he had on his face when he looked at her did a great job to relieve the own worry she had when she worried that her trust in him was misplaced "thank you" he said in her own language, which caused no small amount of shook not just from herself but all others around them and it was just then based on the sound of muttering around them that she glance not just around them but on the upper levels as well, there was a large crowd of people looking down at them "I know you can't understand me but I appreciate the trust you're giving me"
Turning back to him, she smiled "well, I'm glad that is wasn't misplaced" she said back.
The man, Kal, took a step back in shock upon hearing her words. Though to be fair to him, he was quick to recover "I can understand you" he said "you can understand me?" he asked.
Tyrande nodded at him "It seems that Mother Moon has granted us a boon" she looked up and nodded to centre statue.
"Mother Moon?" he asked. Again, sounding very confused.
Tyrande found herself smiling at his ignorance, it was like she was talking to a child who didn't know any better. He wasn't though as she wasn't going to insult him be treating him as such "Elune. The great goddess of the moon" he reached up with a hand and gestured to the centre piece of the temple.
Kal would be lying if he said that he didn't feel a lot better than he did before. The woman Tyrande who he could now understand led him to his gear, though it was clear from the get-go that she was the only one that felt that way, especially when he considered that it was clear that it was taking a lot of self-control for them not to draw their weapons again.
So, they were given a divine blessing? Or he was given one considering he can now speak their language. Well, that would explain why that water in the fountain felt so weird compared to regular water. It was magic, why was everything here magic? For now, he decided to let it go, he was surrounded by a completely alien race he didn't know what to think about but at least they seemed somewhat civil.
Following Tyrande's hand, he looked up to the large statue that he didn't even notice standing in the middle of the fountain. When he saw the face that the statue of the woman held, his mind flashed back.
A weightlessness around him
The blackness of space illuminated by the millions of stars the galaxy held
A pain that spread throughout his entire body
The broken remnants of two worlds floating around him
A beautiful woman with long ears, pale skin, glowing eyes and white flowing hair
"I know her" he found himself saying before he could stop himself.
"You do?" Tyrande asked as she took a step towards him and stopped when she reached his side, the two standing calmly side by side "do you worship the mother moon where you are from?" she asked with a smile, she did not know where he was from but she knew it was not Azeroth. Was it possible for the worship of Elune to occur on another world?
"No" he shook his head before turning to look at Tyrande "I've seen her before" without really thinking about it, he turned back to the statue. He flew up into the air and stopped just short of its face so he could get a closer look at it. Not that he really had time to concentrate on it, mainly due to the large amount of voices speaking around him.
"By the moon"
"He's a mage"
"What kind of magic is this"
"How do we know this isn't Fel?"
"Priestess, what should we do?"
"Stand down!" Tyrande's voice filtered through the rest slightly louder than the others and it seemed to calm the rest down.
He was grateful for that, the statue was an incredible likeness. The only thing that was different was the style of hair, everything else was very similar. Turning back around mid-air, he looked down to Tyrande before slowly lowering down "I've seen her" he stated as he lowered to the ground in front of her "I think she's the one who sent me here"
Tyrande didn't say anything for a moment, her face neutral as her eyes kept on moving back to where he was in the air and too where he was now. At least that was what he thought, it was hard to tell where she was looking due to the completely bright and glowing eyes. It was hard to find the pupil in the eye, it took him a couple of seconds to find it. There was a very slight difference in brightness between the pupil and the rest of the iris "before we get into that and I would very much like too, perhaps its best if we start again now that we can understand each other" she said calmly cusping her hands together in front of her.
Kal found his attitude being calmed by her words, after a moment he nodded towards her "yes, that might be for the best" he said sheepishly.
She smiled at him "Please, follow me, I have a small area on the top balcony that I use for work. It will be a better place for us to speak" she turned around and started to walk she kept looking at him for a few moments to make sure he followed her and when he did, she turned back forward.
"This is a very beautiful temple" he said as the two walked.
"Thank you" she smiled as they walked up the walkway towards the top of the temple "it was built five years ago after the battle of Mount Hyjal" she informed.
"Oh, I'm sorry to hear that" he commented in a soft voice.
She glanced over her shoulder, glancing at him as they walked "You're sorry we built a temple after our victory?" she asked in a confused tone.
"I'm sorry you had a battle in the first place" he simply replayed.
She gave him a soft smile as they stepped onto a small balcony that Tyrande often used as an office when she had a chance. Upon hearing his words, she was able to get a small reading on who he was, there was no doubt he saw fighting, that was clear upon seeing his gear but this time she could see that he wasn't just some warrior, he seemed more sympathetic to the idea of war.
Turning to the right, she sighed at the sight of the pile of paperwork that was waiting for her at the stone marble desk. Though a smile did soon arrive on her face when she saw her old friend waiting for her. Ash'alah, her saber cat was laying under the table in relaxed position. Though she did stand up when he caught sight of Kal, if said man was worried about the large saber coming towards him, he didn't show it.
Instead, Kal got on one knee and waited. Tyrande herself was surprised by the response, it seems Kal has experience around animals such as her. When Ash'alah stopped in front of him, her eyes narrowed, Kal raised a hand towards her and waited. The great saber was looking at him speculatively, judging him and after a moment she moved forward and bopped her nose against his finger. Kal smiled at her before reaching forward and giving her a stroke behind the ear.
She wasn't going to lie, it made Tyrande feel a lot better to know Ash'alah seemed to like him. She was after all a great judge of character "Please, have a seat" she gestured to one chair in front of the desk which he moved to sit on "would you like some tea?" she asked as she moved around the desk and sat on the other end, Ash'alah taking a seat at the side of the large stone table. Keeping a noticeable eye on Kal.
"Thank you for the offer but I think it would best to decline" Kal said in a calm tone as he walked forward and took the trident from his back, placing it calmly on the ground. It seemed to stay completely still, pointed up into the sky without anything to hold it in place "I will need to make sure any type of food you have won't poison me" he explained. Normally he would trust his body to protect him from any toxins and such but with how strong the magical energies seemed to be, he needed to be a little more cautious.
Thankfully she didn't seem offended and simply nodded "very well. Allow me to introduce myself properly. My name is Tyrande Whisperwind, I am the high priestess of Elune and the current leader of my people"
He smiled back at her "My name is Kal-El, I have held other names in my life, but I do not believe they matter anymore. I don't know how I got here, and I thank you for looking after me while I was unconscious"
"I did want to talk to you about that" she sat forward and rested her arms on the desk "you claim that you saw the goddess, that she appeared to you. Not impossible, but very rare. Are you sure about this?" she asked.
Clark was quite for a moment as he thought about her question, he didn't know that she was a goddess and he didn't want to upset any religious zealots, but he also knew that he should lie to her "the hair style was different, but it was her, the spitting image of that statue" he nodded.
"Then the question arises, why would she send you here?" Tyrande asked with a tilt of the head "what makes you different from others?" she knew already that this man was unique but she wanted to know more.
Kal shrugged as he shook his head "I won't pretend to understand the mind and motives of a goddess I've never heard of. In truth I haven't the faintest idea" was all he seemed to offer.
For now, she would allow that answer. There was no reason as to why she could not get more information later "Kal, may I call you Kal?" she asked and after receiving a nod she continued "I won't lie to you, your arrival has unsettled my people quite a bit. You did quite a large amount of damage to our ancestral forest and people are... concerned"
Kal nodded at her and gave a sad nod but soon his face changed to one of confusion "I did?" he asked "how did I do that?"
She found herself raising an eyebrow at him "you fell from the sky" she said sounding as if it was obvious "as if you were a meteor. Landed near the coast of Ashenvale. We were fortunate you didn't land in one of the village's"
Now it was Kal's turn to sound confused "So your goddess takes me away from my home... what was left of my home and places me at the top of this planet's atmosphere, so I crash down onto it? Why would she do that?" he asked.
"I would not dane to guess the plans of Elune" was all the replay Tyrande could give "but there is something I would like to know, how is it you were able to survive such a collision?" she asked with a curious voice.
Kal had the sense to look slightly bashful at the question "that... it's mainly due to my biology" was all he said.
"Biology?" she asked with a surprised voice "so it is not magical in nature?"
He was quick to shake his head "No, definitely not"
The quickness of his response almost caught her off guard "You don't like magic?"
Kal nodded as he crossed his arms "Magic is not something I have a good history with, it is very rare that it happens around me and it doesn't cause harm to myself or others" he explained.
She tilted her head at him "and yet you wield weapons that hold a very strong magical potency" she nodded at the trident and when she saw the questioning look in his eyes, she continued "I have lived a long life as a priest, I know the touch of a deity when I see it and from what I can tell. Every single one of them holds that touch, though they are very different from Elune and even each other. Which tells me multiple gods or goddesses are responsible for them. I know you may not want to tell me too much about yourself, but it would go a long way to help calm my people"
Kal was silent for a moment but while he thought about it, he had to admit that Tyrande and her people had done right by him so far and he did want to have good relations with them. However, before he could they two were interrupted. He heard her running towards them before she arrived and Kal turned around in his seat and looked a woman, of the same race as Tyrande walked in with her bow in hand "Tyrande! Ashenvale are calling for reinforcements! The Warsong clan are trying to take advantage of... his" he gestured to Kal "arrival. They're moving in on Astanaar!"
The high priestess as silent as she processed the words, no doubt trying to find the best course of action. Kal however, being no stranger to what was being said and the dire tone of her voice. It was easy to tell that someone somewhere was under attack. So, Kal did someone he has yet to do in world. He reached out. Not with his hands but with his senses.
He could hear things that he has never heard before, smelt things in the air, tasted things that he would never have guessed to knowing before. However, when he heard the sounds of screaming what seemed to be blades clashing. He acted without even meaning to, years of nothing but war had seen to that. Standing up Kal grabbed the trident that rested beside him and without a word to any other. He shot up into the sky, the speed in which he moved creating a shock wave that almost pushed the two women backwards as all they could do was watch in astonishment as he flew through the air.
And there we have it, Now I know not a lot happened this chapter but I wanted to change things up with how I do this story because the main thing is that I didn't want to rush it. So I'm going to have smaller chapters then usual but that will allow a faster upload time. Anyway, let me all know what you think of Kal's interactions with Tyrande and if you think they where lore accurate. If one of you guys really knows the lore of the early warcraft game. Feel free to reach out and give us a heads up cause I wouldn't a lore person to fact check some of this.
Anyway, let me know what you all thought in the reviews (I do read all of them) and what you think should happen next cause.
