Anyways, I'm trying to copy less from the light novel so stories might be shorter? Basically I Will read the light novel, summarize it, then add Toji's dialogue, thoughts, and actions into it.

Kazuma, Aqua, and Toji started working a construction job.

"This is not what I expected when I became a sword master..."

Toji was the MVP of the construction site, being the strongest there.

Meanwhile Aqua was pretty good at constructing walls and was considered the number 2.

Meanwhile Kazuma...

"Kah... Kah... Kah... UGHHHH!!!"

Kazuma was a complete stranger to physical activity. Gasping for air and groaning the more he worked. While carrying some coal his legs faiiled him and he dropped on the ground and all the coal fell out the big basket.

After 6 hours of long and hard work...

It was the afternoon.

Boss: "Here's your salary for the day."

After counting, their combined salaries are 18,000 Eris.

They left the construction site and went to the bathhouses. Meanwhile, Toji and Kazuma chatted about their old worlds.

"Say, Toji, where are you from? You don't look like from my world. You're unnatural. No human can swing a heavy sword so fast like that back when we entered this world."

Toji answered,

"Hm? Well I might be from your world.

I was a Sorcerer Hunter some days and an Assasain the other. Whatever gets the yen on the table. Thats probably why you never knew of me"

Kazuma looked at Toji.

"Sorcerer Killer? There were Sorcerers in your world? Now you are definetly not from my world. My world is mundane without any sorcery"

Toji said

"Well the Sorcerers were pretty secretive. Almost as secretive as some secret underground organization you see in those movies. The fact that you don't know them probably means they were good at hiding it. Besides, why would I appear in the same place as you if I was from another world?"

Kazuma answered

" Eh, true. But you said sorcery exists right? Can you teach me?!?"

Kazuma, completely ignoring the magic of this new isekai world, decided the sorcery described by Toji was more powerful and useful."

Toji answered, to the disappointment of Kazuma,

"Sorry, but I have something called a "Heavenly Restriction". Which completely cuts me off from Cursed Energy, which fuels the Sorcerers. I can't teach you any sorcery because even I couldn't even use it back when I was alive. But as a good trade off, I am physically almost perfect due to not having Cursed Energy."

Kazuma sighed.

"That's a shame..."

Aqua: "Hey! The bathhouse is right there!"

Toji and Kazuma stopped chatting.

They all went inside the bathhouse and took baths.

After finishing bathing, They went to get some smoked-lizard steak at the Tavern/Adventurer's Guild.

Toji looked at the meat suspiciously.

"Lizard meat? Never tried it.

But I suppose it's better than straving."

And Toji tasted the food of this world for the first time.

With nothing left to do, they all went to the stables to sleep.

At the stables...

Aqua: "snoring"

Kazuma was just about to sleep but then...

"No, wait a minute!"

He suddenly sat up.

Aqua: "What is it? Did you forget to go to the washroom? It's dark out there; do you need me to accompany you?"

"No way! Hold on, it's not that. I just realized that we've been living the life of manual labourers so far."

Indeed.

For the past two weeks, Aqua, Kazuma, and Toji have been working on the walls outside the city.

We were construction workers.

Toji also sat up.

"I realized it even quicker than you. I just didn't object to it. Let me guess, you have a nagging feeling this isn't what adventurers do?"

Kazuma shouted,

"Exactly! How should I put this? What I'm after is exciting battles against monsters! A life like that! Moreover, isn't this world in a crisis with the invasion of the Demon King? Isn't it amazingly peaceful here? There are no signs of demons at all!"

Aqua: "Axel is the city fartherest from the Demon King castle. It only makes sense they don't come here just to terrorize newbie adventurers who don't even pose a threat."

Suddenly, the neighbours lectured them.

Neighbour in the stables: "Hey! Be quiet!"

Aqua and Kazuma: "Ah, Sorry!"
