Sooner or later, we all fall into our traps

Hope Valley, 1913. Elizabeth and her children make a new start in a town filled with Hope, with a little help from a Mountie and his niece. A J/E story that could also easily be read as N/E!

This is a Redo of the storyline between Elizabeth and Nathan. What would happen if Elizabeth hadn’t run from her fear and admitted her feeling for Nathan? In this story, Lucas comes to town but does not show interest in Elizabeth romantically. The story will follow some of the events in When Calls the Heart but with a twist.

Set in Rhode Island. Divorced and 40, Lucas is finally realizing his dream of being a father, adopting a pair of siblings and owning his own home where they can make all the memories. Elizabeth is a new mother of a two year old sweet girl and owns her own design business. Both have decided they don't need a partner to be a good parent. Or do they?

This is an AU story & my take on what should have happened with Elizabeth & Jack. Many of the original events of the series will be included, as well as some that I create. Some of the events will be omitted and others will be changed to fit my story. The timeline of the events have also changed to fit what I wanted to tell. This part 2 and picks up where part 1 left off.

Elizabeth Thatcher and Nathan Grant meet while studying, her to be a Teacher, him a Mountie. While the attraction is instantaneous, they know now is not the right time for them; they are both about to graduate and head out on their first assignment, not knowing where that could take them. Will their life's journey lead them to love?

Spring 1921. Misplacing a page of her journal—a page with a pivotal confession on it—spurs Elizabeth to finally disclose the depth of her feelings to Nathan Grant and apologize to him for past wrongs. With lighter hearts, Hope Valley's teacher and Mountie ponder the many possibilities of their future together, prompting them to start it in a sweet way.

Elizabeth Thornton is dating Nathan Grant, her deceased husband's partner. However, she doesn't feel any sparks for him and he's in love with his current partner, Fiona. She knows love and knows that she won't settle for anything less than sparks. Lucas Bouchard just moved to town and is raising his daughter alone. After his wife died, he hasn't thought about dating. Until now.

Jack thought he had it all; a pro-baseball career, money, and charitable work that he dearly loved. That is until a near career ending injury forced him to return to the minor leagues. Never in a million years would he ever have thought that a demotion of sorts could offer such profound possibilities. Now, if he can only talk Elizabeth into giving him a chance!

Jack comes in season 5, how will his appearance affect the life of Elizabeth Grant?

Jack Thornton moves to Hamilton just before he begins his senior year in high school in this modern day story. His father, Tom, begins work for a shipping tycoon, William Thatcher. Jack meets Elizabeth before school starts. Their first meeting didn't go well. Will this drive them apart or draw them together?

Elizabeth follows Charles back to Hamilton after he proposes to her in the schoolhouse. Charles and Jack think she has accepted Charles' proposal of marriage. Is this all a misunderstanding? Can Jack and Elizabeth find their way back to each other after her indecisiveness? This story is set in the time frame of the show. However, the storyline differs from it.

This is the 6th story in a series about Nathan, Dee, Allie, and baby Christopher Grant, with one on the way, who live in Hope Valley in their new home with grandparents Archie and Emily Grant. Join in the fun adventures of life with these characters along with the regulars and new characters. There will be tears and lots of joy as everyone learns that forgiveness is key. Enjoy!
