The grand hall of the Capitol in Unity Nation buzzed with activity. President John Constantine and Vice President Jesse Custer had called a significant meeting. Lassiter, trying to maintain his composure, added, "And what's your preferred method of handling a high-stakes situation?"
"Precision and efficiency," Bond replied. "And a bit of luck doesn't hurt."
Across the room, Master Chief John-117 was deep in conversation with General Owen, Johnny Rico, and General Stone. Leroy Gibbs joined them, intrigued by their stories.
"Sounds like you've seen some intense battles," Gibbs said to Master Chief.
