Good news

Francesca turned on the speakerphone so everyone could hear.

"Danny… Gabriel…."

"Dad...oh my… you're alive… you're fine!" Danny said incredulous.

"I'm… fine…!"

Enzo's breathing was labored. He could barely speak.

"Oh dad… we were so worried about you! We cried, for a moment we..." Gabriel couldn't hold a tear.

"I… miss… you… boys… I…."

The voice changed.

It was Annabella.

"That's enough for today dear! Go back to sleep!"

"Mom!"

"Hi kids… as you can see your dad is fine now. He woke up from the coma just last night!"

"Oh mom, we are so happy to hear him!"

"I know Danny, I'm happy too. He could barely speak but he insisted so much to talk with you!"

"I wish we could see him!"

"Don't worry Gabriel, you're going to see him very soon. I talked to a doctor, he promised me to use a computer with webcam. Tomorrow we're going to contact you by Skyee. Your father can't wait to see you all!"

"Really? That's a great news!"

"I know, I know. See you tomorrow at 9:00 pm. Make sure you're all there! Bye guys!"

"Bye mom!"

The call ended.

"That's wonderful!" Annalisa said.

"So... are you happy now?" Giovanni asked.

"Yes… our dad… is alive… he's fine. I'm so happy I could cry!"

Gabriel cried.

"Bwaahh!"

"Me too… Bwaahhah!" Danny accompanied.

"Guys… guys… come on… don't cry!" Giovanni said smiling.

"Joey, give me a hand. Bring me some tissues!"

"Yes dad!"

Soon joey brought some tissues and dried the kids tears with Francesca.

"Are you all right now?" Giovanni asked when the all the tears were dried out.

"Ye… yes! I feel better now!" Gabriel answered.

Danny said the same.

"Well, since this is a good news I think you should celebrate!" Annalisa suggested.

"Good idea Annalisa. We should celebrate the event in the best way possible!"

"Do you have any suggestion Giovanni?" Joey asked.

"Hmmm… let me see… ah… I got it! How about an exotic dinner of Sushi?"

"Sushi?" Gabriel asked like he never heard that word before.

"Never heard about it? Then I think you should taste it. Is a Japanese dish based on raw fish, rice and seaweed. Joey loves it, he frequented the best sushi restaurants!"

"Yes dad, I'm also learning how to make it by an online course!"

"Good! We're going to eat sushi here at home. Francesca can give you a hand!"

Francesca nodded.

"Good! Let's go to bed now. Tomorrow is going to be a wonderful day!"

"Yes uncle!" Danny said.

Soon everyone went to bed. Annalisa promised she would be back for tomorrow.

That night Gabriel couldn't sleep.
