Chapter 37
TaleBearer42Day- It was always going to two separate universes, mate. I thought it was pretty clear in the first few chapters. And that's going to be revealed later on unless you like everything to be revealed now.
Also, for gods' sake, read the lore on everything. There's nothing even remotely funny with the evil factions of Warhammer. Nothing at all. For example, there is nothing about the Skin Wolves that can be considered priceless or funny. Same for Giants and Fimir. The wikis should have shown you the bare minimum of just how awful the Warhammer fantasy world can be.
And nothing on Norsca or Dwarves yet.
Also, I read your stories and I'll say neither of them is my cup of tea. They're also not very good.
Evowizard25- Yeah, I believe it would be appropriate to have an arc dedicated to the Sisters, given they're the main characters of this story. With Arahan, it's obvious. Not sure about Naestra, though.
Also, yeah. It's a shame that the Lizardmen don't have a lot of stories with them. They're a pretty cool faction.

"So wait, you're telling me that all this is happening because Lucy's dad wants her back home?" Asked Gray incredulously as Lucy and Naestra finished their story. Naestra just nodded while Lucy looked down in shame. It had been a few hours since everyone returned to Magnolia. Since then, they've been planning and gathering strength for the inevitable Phantom Lord counterattack. In the meantime, Naestra told them all of the supposed reasons behind Phantom Lord's attack as well as revealing she and Arahan were elves. Although many were shocked at the latter reveal, the former was what got many of them talking since it's the most relevant to the situation at hand.
"No way that's the only reason." Said Macao as he listened in. "Phantom has always been jealous of us. Bet you a thousand Jewels that the job is a mere excuse to do the war in the first place."
"Yeah." Said Wakaba in agreement. "Can't really blame Lucy's dad though. Her dad probably didn't know about Phantom's rivalry with us." Arahan scoffed upon hearing that.
"Then the man's ineptitude can still be blamed." Said Arahan in disgust, her hood down to reveal her long white hair and her elven ears. Many were amazed at her ears and her beautiful white hair along with Naestra's own ears and long black hair, but they stayed focused on what she had to say. "He should have been more specific in how wished for Lucy to be returned of him, rather than simply relaying the orders of getting Lucy back to him." Macao and Wakaba hummed at that, conceding to Arahan's point.
"Regardless of who is to be truly blamed for this situation, the matters with Phantom Lord remain." Said Naestra, now wearing a new breastplate to replace the one that was damaged by Jose. She had returned back home in order to acquire a new one while Arahan and Erza led everyone back to the Guildhall. Diederick wasn't home, which she wasn't if she should be relieved or disappointed in. "Though I'm disappointed that you all decided to declare war on them in my absence, that won't change anything. We're at war now and we have to end it soon. Otherwise, innocents will be dragged into now." Everyone just nodded at that in agreement. The war was on and now they had to end it. Quickly.
"So, what's the plan, Naestra?" Asked Gray as he crossed his arms. Everyone's eyes then turned to Naestra, who hummed in thought on what to do as she was the sole person left in Fairy Tail that was capable of being a good leader.
Makarov, unfortunately, was incapacitated through unknown means. From what they could tell, Phantom was somehow able to completely drain Makarov of all his Magic Power, leaving him in a weakened state as a result. Because of this, along with the fact they lacked anything to face Jose in one-to-one combat, Fairy Tail retreated back to Magnolia. Many were disgusted with it, but none questioned with Erza's orders, who was left in command after Makarov fell.
Once everyone returned to Magnolia, Bisca and Alzack took Makarov to Fairy Tail's one and only healer, a woman named Porlyusica in East Forest, the same forest that Naestra and Arahan lived in, though they were a sizable distance from one another, like one end to the other distance. Still how she didn't know about the Twilight sisters and their mounts prior to their joining of Fairy Tail was beyond Naestra and Arahan, though they speculated she didn't get out that much.
Only Porlyusica was capable of helping Makarov, or so Erza claimed when she suggested they take Makarov to Porlyusica. Erza explained she was a master of treating magic beings and that her mastery of medicine and potions was beyond anything the doctors of Magnolia were capable of. Seeing that she had no reason to mistrust Erza, Naestra allowed this and thus ordered Makarov be sent to Porlyusica. After that was done, there was the matter involving Phantom and what to do now that they were at war with them. And as stated before, with Makarov gone, Naestra had taken command due to her wisdom and ability to see the greater picture.
"You all may not like it, but I intend to end the war without further violence." Said Naestra, causing some groans to erupt. They all knew how she was going to attempt that. "I already sent a messenger to the Magic Council branch in Magnolia. Hopefully, it'll reach the Magic Council in time, and they'll be able to put a stop to this wasteful war before it escalates further. In the meantime, we must defend against Phantom's attacks. I do not doubt that Phantom has planned for this conflict. And since our retreat from their branch in Oak Town, it's likely that they're planning a counterattack on us." Everyone grumbled at her orders, but nonetheless did what they instructed. Before anyone could say anything, they suddenly heard some mad laughter.
"You got to be fucking kidding me!" Said Laxus as he overheard the plan through the communication Lacrima sitting on a table. Mirajane had contacted Laxus in order to see if he can provide some assistance. Laxus, being the jerk he was, refused, saying it was Makarov's war and that he should finish it. Without dragging him in it. During the conversation, Laxus overheard Naestra's plan and was amused with it. "I always knew you were a coward, but I never thought you would actively make the guild to be cowards as well." Upon hearing that, everyone glared at Laxus. They all may not like Naestra's plan, but they knew for certain that Naestra was no coward.
"That's false and you know it, Laxus!" Yelled Mirajane as she glared at Laxus' smug face in disgust. She will not tolerate any accusations of cowardice to Naestra or Arahan, both of whom were far from cowards. "Naestra is no coward! She's one of the bravest people in Fairy Tail. She and Arahan always go on missions that are made for wizards, sometimes with no magical assistance at all, and yet they always come back alive and with the mission being a success! They always go in without any fear and you know it!" Rather than be moved, Laxus just laughed.
"If that's so then they should have no trouble going to Phantom lord itself and fighting them." Said Laxus with a smug look on his face. "They don't need my help if that's the case. Although, then again, they might need it if they have to rely on you twerps for anything."
"Why you!" Yelled Natsu in anger as he and Gray glared at the communications lacrima. Laughing again, Laxus then offered a deal.
"But, you know what? I'm feeling a bit generous today, so I'll make you all a deal. I overheard who's responsible for all this, so I got a proposition. Make that Lucy chick my woman and I'll come help." Upon hearing that, Lucy shivered in disgust while everyone else glared at the lacrima, some more darkly than others. One woman, in particular, a brown-haired woman, that wore only a bra and pants went up and glared at Laxus in disgust and anger. That woman was Cana Alberona, Fairy Tail's resident heavy drinker and a user of Holder Magic that centered around Magic Cards.
"You're such a disgusting pig!" Yelled Cana, her purple eyes glaring at Laxus with barely contained disgust and disapproval. The glare, however, just made Laxus laugh. It was then that Arahan spoke up.
"You're such a coward." Said Arahan as she glared at Laxus, while the man stopped laughing and glared at Arahan, not liking to be called a coward. "Instead of helping out your allies or to prove you are worthy of your title as an S-class mage, you instead hide like a coward and let your allies do the fighting for you. Pathetic."
"Oh boy." Said Wakaba as he heard that last word from Arahan. "This is going to end well." Macao just nodded his head as the waited the inevitable explosion from Laxus.
Ever since Laxus became the arrogant, hot-headed individual he was today, everyone did their best to limit the interactions between Arahan and Laxus as possible. It was well known to everyone that Arahan was disgusted with Laxus. She found the man unworthy of his title as an S-class mage. His arrogant attitude as well as his constant mocking of other members of the Guild irritated Arahan. She herself may do it as well, but not to the levels that Laxus did.
He constantly belittled everyone for their weaknesses, both real and those he believes them to possess. He cared little for the thoughts of others and cared little for those he found weak. And, to top it all off, he constantly made fun of everyone, beyond his little group called the Thunder Legion, for being weak. That he can always take them all on without even trying, no matter how hard they trained. All this made Arahan hate him, even though she did similar things to everyone else.
While it was true that Arahan insulted everyone, it was more for their unintelligent choices or what she perceives as naivety or foolishness. She never insults them for being weak unless it was proven, but even then she never told them that they'll always be weak as such weakness can always be overcome through training, which was proven with Elfman and Erza, both of whom started with very weak magic potential or were weaker than they are today. And she never once said that none of the Fairy Tail mages can beat her. Although granted, it was clear some can never beat her, Arahan had to begrudgingly admit that many could beat her if they put the effort into it. That was one of the major differences between Arahan and Laxus. Arahan understood the potential of everyone in Fairy Tail. To become some of the greatest wizards the world has ever known. Laxus, however, didn't seem to see it and belittled them constantly, which angered Arahan, even more so when he did it to Erza, her former apprentice.
As a result, she constantly insulted him whenever they met, something that enraged Laxus, calling him a coward and a fool. No physical conflict ever happened, fortunately, mainly because of Naestra and Makarov, but it was clear to everyone that it was best to have interactions between Laxus and Arahan to a minimum. Otherwise, the disaster that will happen will make Fairy Tail look bad. Even more so than usual.
"Sister." Said Naestra as she saw the conflict happening. "Don't…" But it was too late, Laxus saw Arahan and instantly bared his teeth, showing his fangs.
"Oh great, miss bitch-a-lot is here." Said Laxus as he glared at Arahan, who glared right back. "You got a lot of nerve calling me a coward, lady. I'm way stronger than you ever could be. I could wipe the floor with you without trying and yet you still got the nerve to insult me. You got a death wish or are you just that stupid?" Arahan just scoffed at that before replying back.
"Neither." Said Arahan as she slammed her palms at the table. "Unlike you, I'm an actual member of Fairy Tail that doesn't run its name to the ground."
"Oh boy." Said Macao as he heard this with widened eyes. Exhaling a huff of smoke, Wakaba just nodded, realizing things were going to even worse.
"The hell you say!" Yelled Laxus as veins bulged in anger.
"You heard me." Said Arahan as she grabbed the lacrima and glared at Laxus even more. "You are not a true member of Fairy Tail. You are a mere thug related to the master that uses the name of this guild as a way to justify your behavior. And unless you wish to actively do anything to help us against Phantom Lord, you'll remain nothing more than a disgrace to the guild along with your father. A coward that does nothing but speaks." That caused several people to gasp out loud upon hearing what Arahan just said. Laxus' father was something that was a sore subject. Not only to him but also to Makarov, though for different reasons. The last time anyone brought Ivan Dreyar up got a face-full of lightning from Laxus. If Laxus was here in person, things would get messy in here.
Even now, everyone could see the rage coursing through Laxus as he glared darkly at Arahan, who simply glared back. The two had a staredown while everyone else was unsure of what to do until eventually, Naestra stepped in.
"Enough." Said Naestra as she joined the conversation. "Laxus, despite the rather crude way she conversed with you, my sister is right. The fact that you're not assisting us says more about you than the supposed weakness of the guild. The guild stands for companionship and family, yet you refuse to assist us during our time of need. Not because you're unable to, but because you refuse to. That speaks less of our guild and more for your own person. After all, how would the people react to when they hear the great Laxus, and his Thunder Legion refused to help because they didn't want to? Because they thought the rest of their guild was weak and not worth their time? Unless you like those rumors to propagate, then come here and help us fight off Phantom Lord until the Magic Council arrives. Or are you as cowardly as my sister proclaims you to be?" Instead of answering, Laxus growled before the connection between the two lacrimas suddenly ended.
"Laxus must have destroyed his lacrima." Said Cana, realizing what he did. "What a fucking asshole. And I can't believe he's Makarov's grandson too. What a shitty family Makarov has." Lucy gasped upon hearing that. Laxus was Makarov's grandson!? Why didn't she know about that before?
"*Sighs* There's no point in arguing with it now." Said Naestra before turning to Cana and looking at the girl's purple eyes. "How fares your search of Mystogan? Has it bore any fruit?" Cana just shook her head.
"Fuck no." Said Cana as she groaned in frustration. "No matter what I do, I can't get a track on Mystogan. He's like a ghost." Naestra frowned at that.
"Unfortunate." Said Naestra. She had hoped to acquire Mystogan's help in this matter at least, but they can still make do without him. They just have to avoid fighting Phantom and hope that the Magic Council will be reasonable. She then turned to Lucy, who still looked a bit guilty over everything. "Lucy, since Phantom is going after you, you'll stay with your team. They'll protect you." Both Gray and Natsu nodded fervently at that.
"You got that right." Said Gray while Natsu cracked his knuckles.
"Don't worry, Lucy." Said Natsu as he looked at the blond with a reassuring smile. "We won't let those Phantom bastards be anywhere near you." Lucy smiled at that before frowning.
"Thanks, guys, but I got to ask. You all don't hate me for what my father did?" Asked Lucy, causing people to look at her in surprise. "I mean, it's my father that's the cause of all this along with me. If I hadn't run away when I did, none of this would be happening. Makarov wouldn't be sick. Levy and Shadowgear wouldn't be hurt. And the Guildhall wouldn't be destroyed. I feel like all this is my fault." She then began to tear up, causing Natsu to come over and place a hand on her head, causing her to look up at him.
"None of this is your fault." Said Natsu softly, trying to comfort her. "You may have run away from your father, but that's because he was a shitty dad. None of us can blame you for doing that when he didn't care about you at all."
"Yeah." Agreed Gray with a nod. He remembered what Lucy told them all. Of how her father neglected her after her mother, Layla Heartfilia passed away, to the point it made her run away. "I would have run away as well if my dad was being a neglectful jerk." Everyone then began giving Lucy their own support as well, saying it wasn't her fault and that it was the fault of both Phantom and Jude Heartfilia for everything that happened to Fairy Tail right now. Lucy began to tear up at all the support she was getting, feeling she didn't deserve it all when Naestra placed a hand on her shoulder.
"They're all right, Lucy." Said Naestra as she stroked Lucy's hair with a smile. "All this is in no way shape, or form, your fault. You running away may have been the reason for all this, but it was Phantom that caused everything that happening right now. They could have done this all peacefully. They could have simply asked for a day of your time, but they didn't. Instead, they declared war on us and hurt our members. That, is in no way, your fault. Rather it's Joses'. And, depending on how your father's involvement in all this, perhaps your father as well. But, you are not to be blamed for all this. Not when there are other people that deserve it more. And even if you were to be blamed for all this, we still would fight to protect you. You're a member of Fairy Tail. That means we all rather die than ever give you up to Phantom Lord. To Jose, who we know is a sadistic and foolish man." Natsu nodded at that and took over.
"What she said." Said Natsu. "We'll protect you, no matter what. Because we're a family. And family always had each other's back." Lucy, upon hearing all that along with Natsu's smile, started to cry a bit before hugging Natsu, surprising the Dragonslayer. The display of affection was something that brought a smile to everyone's face, even Arahan couldn't help but feel her lips tug a bit upward upon seeing this display of affection. Naestra, although happy that Lucy was calm now, had other things to attend to. Like figuring out how to avoid more conflict with Phantom Lord. She was about to order everyone on what to do when they all suddenly felts tremors course through the basement.
"The hell!?" Yelled Wakaba as dirt fell from the ceiling. As everyone was trying to figure out what was going on, Alzack suddenly came down to the basement, looking completely shocked and horrified.
"Everyone, outside now! We got a situation!" Yelled Alzack, causing everyone to depart from the basement and outside the Guildhall. What they all saw shocked them to their very core.
"What the hell is that!?" Yelled out Natsu as his eyes bulged out upon seeing a massive castle with mechanical legs coming towards them from the ocean. Everyone else was in shock at this and tried to figure out what they were seeing.
"That's Phantom's main headquarters." Said Naestra, stunned at seeing the massive stone headquarters being moved by six giant mechanical legs. Not even the Dwarves were capable of such mechanical feats.
"So they brought their fortress here." Said Arahan as she narrowed her eyes at this, eager to fight again. With Naestra here, her bloodlust can be controlled, meaning she can fight without much issue of angering the Magic Council. "Looks like we have to fight, after all, sister." Before Naestra could comment on that, the castle fortress stopped and began to reveal a massive cannon. Upon seeing it, Naestra gasped as the cannon aimed at the Guildhall and began to charge up Ethernano.
"That's a Jupiter cannon!" Yelled out Macao upon seeing what the cannon was. A Jupiter cannon was a type of magic weapon that used Magic Power and fired it as a powerful beam that can destroy anything in its path. It was a type of weapon that was feared by all for very few things can survive a Jupiter cannon blast and survive and Phantom was pointing one right at them.
"What the hell!?" Yelled out Cana as she saw the cannon gather dark energy. "That thing is going to do more than just destroy the Guildhall. It's also going to take out a good chunk of Magnolia too!"
"What is Jose doing!?" Yelled Naestra as she too realized this. "Doesn't he realize the casualties that will be inflicted on Magnolia's people by that weapon!?" Erza, who came back from the showers in a pink towel, growled at seeing the weapon, realizing what Phantom was doing. And, unfortunately, she had to play by their rules. Thus, she rushed towards the front, causing some people to look at her in shock.
"Erza!" Yelled out Cana.
"What are you doing!" Yelled Macao. Naestra and Arahan realized what she was doing, however, and realized what she was doing. They both knew that Erza had a set of armor called Adamantine Armor, an expensive piece of armor that was renowned for its high durability. She intended to use it as a way to stop Phantom's Jupiter Cannon from destroying Magnolia and Fairy Tail. Knowing that it was their best shot, the two ordered everyone to stay back and allow Erza to do her thing. Only Natsu protested, fearing for Erza's life, but Gray held him back, telling him that they had to have faith in Erza.
While all this was happening, Erza equipped into her Adamantine Armor and readied herself for Jupiter's shot. A few seconds later, the cannon fired and Erza was ready. Summoning a two-piece shield she placed the two firmly against each other, summoning a magic circle as a result, and braced herself. The Jupiter blast hit the magic circle and was instantly stopped by it.
Gritting her teeth, Erza held on as the Jupiter blast tried to break through her shield. Enduring the blast, Erza felt chips and pieces of her armor were breaking off as she continued to put up the magic circle. Eventually, the Jupiter blasted ended but not before Erza was forced tumbling back towards everyone else, armored in pieces.
"Erza!" Yelled Natsu as he rushed towards her with Arahan. Before either of them could say anything, they suddenly heard the voice of Jose, utilizing magic speakers to allow his voice to be heard from wherever he was in the castle.
"Makarov has fallen." Announced Jose. "And Erza Scarlet is incapacitated. Any chance you all have for victory is gone. Surrender Lucy Heartfilia now and we'll depart and end this war immediately. You have no choice." Upon hearing all that, everyone angrily yelled out at Jose.
"No way in hell, we'll ever do that to Lucy!" Yelled Alzack with Bisca nodding in agreement, both having returned from Porlyusica.
"Like any respectable Guild will ever turn over one of their own to save their own hides! Especially to a monster like you!" Yelled Bisca.
"Yeah! As if we'll ever believe a word from your mouth!" Yelled Macao in agreement. As everyone else was voicing their own protests at Phantom's offer, Naestra looked at Phantom's castle, looking for any weaknesses they can exploit. As she did this, she heard Lucy's tears, touched by her guild's dedication to her. Much as Naestra wanted to comfort her, this wasn't the time, because she just heard Jose's enraged words from all this.
"Fine!" Yelled Jose in anger. "If you all want to die so badly, then so be it! You all got fifteen minutes until Jupiter is ready to fire again! That's the amount of time you have to change your minds! After that, it's goodbye Fairy Tail and anyone foolish enough to be in the way of Jupiter!" Naestra gritted her teeth at that along with Arahan and everyone else. He still was insisting on firing that weapon. Even though it will kill thousands of innocents in the process. He was a madman. And to make matters worse, Naestra was certain that, even if they all retreat into Magnolia and abandon the Guildhall, something that will no doubt cause many protests from everyone if they did that, he'll still fire the Jupiter cannon, but not at the guild, but at Magnolia itself. If it meant drawing out Fairy Tail or even wiping them out, he'll do it. The man was insane. It seems his hatred of Fairy Tail was blocking his common sense.
With no choice but to attack now, she went over to Natsu.
"Natsu, it appears that we have no choice but to fight if we wish to save not only Lucy, but the people of Magnolia as well." Said Naestra, causing Natsu to look at her in surprise. "I need you along with a small team to take out Jupiter. Don't waste time on the barrel. Take out its power source. After that, try to take out the castle itself. Without it, perhaps we can stand a chance without Makarov. Now go!" Upon hearing all that, Natsu yelled at Happy to pick him up, which the cat did after Natsu jumped in the air. As the two flew away straight into the castle, Gray and Elfman went after him, eager to take the fight to Phantom. While all this was happening, shadowy beings came out of the castle in droves, shocking everyone.
"What the hell are those things!?" Yelled Wakaba as he saw all those shadow things come from the castle. They all wore purple cloaks that hid their features and had long purple hands with long fingers that ended as claws. They seemed to be floating as they had no legs that they can see.
"Master Jose's magic." Said Naestra as she looked upon the hundreds of figures that looked upon them with red eyes. "Rather than have his guild fight us. He's going to have his constructs fight us instead."
"Leaving us easy pickings for his cowardly guild." Said Arahan in disgust. "He can also fire the Jupiter cannon with complete impunity."
"She's right." Said Cana in agreement. "They don't matter at all. Jose can both keep us distracted and fire Jupiter without wasting a single of his guild members. Not to mention prevent most of us from taking the fight to Phantom."
"You got to be kidding me." Said Macao in frustration as he realized their situation.
"And we have to fight them, no matter what." Said Arahan as she drew her bow and notched an arrow. "Ready sister?" Naestra just let out a whistle and soon Gwindalor, who had been perched on top of the Fairy Tail Guildhall this entire time, landed near the sisters and allowed them to jump on top of him. Once they were both on, he flew up and flew straight towards the shadows, squawking all the way. Upon seeing this, every remaining Fairy Tail member, aside from Mirajane, Lucy, and a fat man followed the twins into battle, eager to defend their Guildhall and their home from Phantom.
"This is the life!" Yelled out Arahan with a smile as she let loose an arrow and scored the first kill.
Meanwhile
Mystogan
"I have to admit, I never expected you would come and assist the human race in things that only concern them." Said Mystogan as he gazed upon the flags that Oxyotl had brought with him. The flags of Phantom Lord. After meeting up with each other, the two departed to deal with Phantom Lord. To Mystogan's surprise, Oxyotl had informed him that he would be assisting the blue-haired man in defeating Phantom Lord. Well, his words were more like.
"These Men will bring doom and despair on this world. I had foreseen it." Said Oxyotl the first time they met with each other before showing Mystogan a symbol of Phantom Lord. "Their foolish master will cause the coming of the three-eyed king unless stopped. You must stop this. You must bring the white dwarf of your people to life again. And you must stop the foolish one from killing the Asrai guardians of the three-eyed king. I will assist you in this endeavor." Those were Oxyotl's exact words, and he understood them completely, having experience prior in how the Lizardman and his people speak. Although he had no idea how this three-eyed king was, he knew the other terms and knew that the three-eyed king was someone dangerous if Oxyotl was here. Thus, he agreed to whatever demands the orange lizard had him do and headed straight towards the nearest Phantom Lord branch the moment he was done with his task. Upon arriving at that branch, he interrogated the members there so he can understand the whole story.
Apparently, Phantom Lord and Fairy Tail were at war with one another. A war that Master Jose of Phantom Lord wanted for years. That wasn't much of a surprise to Mystogan. Jose was always a foolish master and was always looking for a way to beat Fairy Tail after Makarov humiliated him all those years ago. With the knowledge that Fairy Tail and Phantom were at war with each other, as well as prior knowledge of what kind of man Jose was along with the knowledge that he'll do something that'll bring doom and despair to Earthland, Mystogan defeated that branch and headed straight for the next closets one, only to find it already destroyed with all it's members either unconscious or groaning in pain. Amongst them was Oxyotl himself.
Looking around the men around Oxyotl, Mystogan realized they were all still alive. In pain and barely alive, but alive. Mystogan raised an eyebrow at that, especially when he saw all of them had poison darts around their bodies. These men were lucky. Oxyotl usually had more lethal poisons that can kill a man in literally seconds.
"I assume it benefits the Great Plan if these men were allowed to live?" Asked Mystogan, causing Oxyotl to nod. "I see. I'm guessing you defeated more branches of Phantom prior to meeting with me, yes?" Again Oxyotl nods.
"Only two others remain." Said Oxyotl in his native language, something Mystogan learned during his time with the Lizardman and his people. He didn't know the language one hundred percent, but he knew enough to know what Oxyotl was saying "You will not fight them. My followers and I will deal with them. You must revive the dwarf-sized man. He must defeat the foolish master of these Men."
"His name is Makarov." Said Mystogan, knowing that Oxyotl will not refer to him until Makarov has earned his respect. Lizardmen were like that. They cared more about the species than the individuals that comprised that race. Whether he acknowledged the name or not, Oxyotl pulled out a bag from his person and handed it to Mystogan.
"Use this." Said Oxyotl. "It will heal the dwarf man. Make him strong. Give him the strength needed to fight the foolish master of Men after being weakened."
"I see." Said Mystogan as he took the bag. Looking upon the bag, Mystogan pondered on if he could trust Oxyotl or not. Not that the lizard wasn't trustworthy, it's just that he didn't do anything for charity or genuine care for anyone. Deciding it would only benefit the lizard if Makarov lived, Mystogan took the bag and place it in his sack with his staves.
"Tell your healers to grind the contents into dust." Said Oxyotl as he explained to Mystogan what to do with the bag's contents. "Mix them into water and made the beardless dwarf drink it. It will do the rest." Mystogan nodded in acknowledgment, leaving Oxyotl satisfied. Just before the lizard could leave, Mystogan spoke out.
"Why are you here? In Earthland, Oxyotl." Said Mystogan. "Are your Ruinous powers starting to appear in Earthland as well?" Oxyotl simply turned a bit at Mystogan before replying.
"The Dark Gods are always seeking to find more to corrupt. To destroy." Said Oxyotl. "To undo order. In time, they will find this world and corrupt it as well. Whether that be now, or a thousand years is irrelevant. For only the Old Ones had the power to stop the Ruinous Powers. And they are lost to us." Mystogan stayed silent as Oxyotl stopped. Eventually, he spoke again. "Sometimes only delaying the Chaos Gods is all we can do and that is sufficient enough. You must do one of those actions. For if the three-eyed king be born. My world. Your world. Your old home. All will fall before the might of Chaos, and the three-eyed king shall be its harbinger." With that, Oxyotl left, leaving Mystogan alone with his thoughts. Eventually leaving to go help Makarov and Fairy Tail against Phantom Lord.
