Tales as Old as Time.

It was a gray, miserable cloudy afternoon in the West Capital. There hadn't been another kind for years. Not since the androids arrived.

They had appeared out of nowhere and started killing everyone in their path. They had no goals beyond just destroying for fun. There was no reasoning with the duo, and they overpowered everyone they ran into. The only one who could have stopped them once, Son Goku, had died long ago. They killed all of Son Goku's friends and allies- Kuririn, Tien Shin Han, even Piccolo and Vegeta. Only Son Gohan, Goku's son, had been able to fight them on somewhat even terms, and even so, their first battle had ended with Gohan losing an arm.

Now Gohan faced the two psychopathic artificial humans again, at the middle of a devastated city. He and the boy by his side, Trunks, stood before the building of Capsule Corporation, at the middle of a ravaged boulevard. Trunks was Vegeta's son, and Gohan's disciple, barely a teenager.

The androids were nearly identical twins. A blonde female and a black haired male. They both were short and slim, especially the woman, and they looked fairly young, only a few years older than Trunks. They dressed casually, in blue jeans and white shirts, with open jackets sporting the emblem of a long destroyed organization, the Red Ribbon Army.

"What if you let me have the next limb, Eighteen?" Android 17 asked his counterpart. "A leg, I think... It'd be fun, to see him hop on one before we tear him apart!"

"But only because you asked nicely," Android 18 answered. "I'll have the child instead... for a change..."

Trunks gulped, planting his feet more firmly on the pavement. Gohan frowned and charged his power up, his spiky hair turning blond and glowing.

"Oh, look, he became a Christmas tree! Christmas came early!" Android 17 laughed. "Fine, Christmas Tree, what if I rip your balls off right n-"

And then there was a large flash of light, and a roar of thunder. Gohan and Trunks tensed up, while the androids scowled and looked down the street.

A figure had just appeared one block away, getting up from a crouching position. It was a man wearing a full suit of thick, green and purple body armor, with heavy gauntlets and books. Only his head was uncovered, featuring a handsome face with cold eyes, and a bald scalp. He stood straight and addressed the androids, who had turned around to face him, sporting amused smirks.

"Greetings. I am Lex Luthor," the man told them. "I trust the Crime Syndicate hasn't arrived yet."

Android 18 quickly traded her smirk for a scowl. "The what?"

"Gohan," Trunks said in a whisper. "Do you know this man?"

"I'd never seen him before," Gohan answered in a hushed tone. "His chi is low, but he might be hiding it. Stay ready."

Lex Luthor breathed in. "The Crime Syndicate of Amerika," he said. "Five superpowered criminals from my homeworld, who banded together to rule over all countries like despots."

"Ah, conquerors," Android 17 said. "We considered that for a while, too, didn't we, 18?"

"Too much of a hassle," 18 smirked again. "Heavy is the head with the crown and all that."

"Mister!" Gohan shouted from where he was standing. "Whoever you are, if you're fighting some sort of evil, don't trust these two to help you!"

"Who said we wouldn't help him?" 17 chuckled, cracking his knuckles. "We'll put him out of his misery right now."

"Let's keep him alive to play with him," 18 said. "I haven't played with a madman in a while."

Lex Luthor's gauntlets lit up with an orange glow. "I see. And you two are do-gooders? Heroes fighting them?" he called over to Gohan and Trunks. "Then I'll help you level the odds, and we'll tackle the Cri—Never mind. They are here!"

There were three other flashes of light, and three combined booming explosions of raw primal energy. Even the androids were blinded for a moment, and when they saw again, three more strangers had arrived. They floated down to stand not too far from Luthor, who edged many steps away from them, training his gloves on them.

The black-haired man at the head of the trio moved his thick neck around. He smiled sadistically. He wore a skintight blue suit with red boots and a long cape. On his muscular and wide chest there was an emblem of the letter 'U'.

18 licked her lips over, intrigued.

"So this is where you ran off to, Lex," the man with the cape said, amused. "Thanks anyway! All you did was lead us to our newest stomping grounds… smartest man on Earth, indeed!"

"Where are Owlman and Superwoman?" asked the second man, a pale young fellow with short, spiky bleached blond hair, wearing a full green bodysuit. In his right hand, there was the light of a shiny emerald ring. "Don't tell me we lost them in transit!"

"Who needs them? This chickie's better looking than Superwoman!" the skinniest of the trio said, leering at the petite blonde. He wore a fully red set of tights, with a golden lighting motif across his sides. "Hiya, Dolly. Name's Johnny Quick, what's yours?"

In a blink, Gohan and Trunks were next to Luthor, startling him. "Are these them?" Gohan asked. "This Crime Syndicate of yours?"

"Y-Yes, three of them, at least," Luthor said, recovering his wits immediately. "Ultraman, Power Ring and Johnny Quick. Be on the lookout for the other two, they're fond of backstabbing when you least expect them."

"Got to give you this, Lex, when you are right, you are right," Ultraman said. He stared at 18. "Woman. My friend asked you a question. Answer it!"

"I'm Android Eighteen," she said, readying her fists. "Remember to scream it for me, handsome..."

Ultraman grinned, and, faster than a speeding bullet, flew into her, with his large fists ahead.

There was a deafening boom, as the collission sent Eighteen flying several blocks apart. Seventeen ony raised an eyebrow, humming.

"What?!" Trunks gasped. "He's strong!"

"The strongest on my Earth," Luthor said grimly. "The most twisted as well."

Eighteen pulled herself up from the building she had crashed into, coughing. "You bastard!"

"Eighteen!" her brother called out. "Maybe you should get serious, this clown is not a- Dammit!" He barely blocked with an arm as a red blur jumped on him, throwing hundreds of superspeed punches at him in a matter of seconds.

At the same time, a gigantic green spiked mace flew over to hit him several times in the ribs. For the first time in nearly a year, since he had first fought Gohan, Seventeen felt pain. It made him actually smile.

"Good, boys, so now I'm interested..." he said, and began kicking at them. But the red blur danced around him along Johnny Quick's obnoxious laughter. And many sharp constructs of green power fell on the android from every angle, scratching and piercing at him. A mere human would have been shredded immediately.

At the same time, Ultraman and Android 18 flew like missiles at each other, and large ripple forces expanded around them, breaking windows everywhere in the city and all but throwing Gohan, Luthor, and Trunks off their feet. They started punching each other savagely in the air, and each punch caused the noise of a mortar shell.

"What do we do?" the lavender haired boy asked, bewildered. "What do we do, Sensei?!"

"Maybe we should let them kill each other," Luthor said, reaching over and grabbing Gohan by the arm. "Listen, if you are some manner of local heroes, we should take off and talk somewhere. I came here to look for-"

There was another flash with a sound. But, these were different from the others.

They were softer, more subdued. The light passed faster, and when it was gone, a single man stood where it had flashed. A man shorter than Luthor, with sunken large eyes and thick bags of flesh under them. Even so, he didn't look old. He had a middle build, and his hands were pale and full of bulging veins.

The fighters stopped doing battle and stared at him, sharing curiosity. He wore a mostly light green suit, with long white sleeves, black boots and a long, flowing dark green cape. His hair was curly and short, coloured a light violet.

"It's going to happen again," he said with a cracking voice.

"Who in the world are you?" Gohan asked.

"I am called... Pariah!" the man said. "And I mourn for this world about to die."

"Do you know this one as well?" Trunks asked Luthor.

"I'd never seen him before," Luthor admitted.

Pariah took both hands to his own head. "No matter where I go it's the same," he lamented. "There's nothing I can do but cry. If only I could take you... somewhere! But... But...!"

"Calm down," Luthor said. "Get a hold of yourself! You aren't even making any sense!"

"You'll see soon enough!" Pariah said. "I've seen ten thousand worlds erased one after another! Wherever I go! No matter how much I run!"

"This isn't funny anymore." Android 17 extended a hand towards the newcomer. "Enough of your whining!"

Pariah looked up, over everyone's heads. "It has arrived," he told them.

They looked back, and saw the huge wall of white light for the first time, advancing towards them. Quickly, deleting everything in its path and swallowing it, turning it into nothing. It made no sound, and that made it creepier, scarier; that and its speed as it flew towards them.

"What... What's that thing?!" Android 18 said.

Her brother moved his outstretched hand towards it and began blasting the approaching wall with massive blasts of his energy. "Nothing!"

"Nothing, you are right!" Pariah said. "It's nothing, and turns everything into nothing! Until there's nothing left for it to devour!"

"No, that can't be right!" Gohan roared, raising his hand and blasting the wall along 17. After a moment of hesitation, so did Eighteen and Trunks. But the wall only swallowed their attacks, which did not slow it down at all.

"Fascinating," Luthor said. "Raw antimatter! Physical or psychic force is useless against it!"

"Ultraman, Power Ring!" Johnny Quick said. "Let's retreat! We'll figure that thing out back at home!"

"We need Owlman for that, where's that bastard?" Ultraman looked around. "Damn his cloaking mechanism, now of all times he wants to hide...!"

"For now we side with these bozos!" Power Ring yelled, aiming the alien weapon in his finger at the incoming wall and also shooting it with large battering ram shaped emerald constructs. They came to be undone as soon as they touched the wall. "What the-?! My ring works on anything not yellow!"

Gohan stepped back and drew in a deep breath. He pulled his arm back and began charging his power into it. "Kaaaa-meeeee...!"

"Oh, screw you all!" Johnny Quick panicked, starting to run the opposite way. In a blink, he had disappeared between the distant hills.

"Haaaa-meeeee!" Gohan screamed, his golden hair standing straighter. A large ball of light appeared in his palm.

"Sensei, do it quick!" Trunks shouted, still blasting madly along his enemies. The wall was advancing down the boulevard, destroying it as it dashed at them. The dust and bits of pavement floated in situ before vanishing before their eyes. Luthor also began shooting at it with his gauntlets.

"You said it'd do nothing!" Android 17 told Luthor while the wall nearly reached them. The other man smiled.

"It's the principle of the thing," Luthor said. "Perhaps you'll understand in another life."

"HAAAAAAAAAAA!" Gohan shouted, releasing the technique learned from his father into the wall. Impressive as it was, its growling thunder disappeared almost as soon as it was produced, taken by the eerie silent wall. The two lights collided and the white one extinguished the chi stream practically when they touched.

Ultraman tightened his fist. "So it comes to this," he mused grimly. "I never thought it'd end like this!"

He flew at the wall, arms ahead, faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than one hundred locomotives.

"But I won't go down without a fight!"

He punched the wall, his fist turning into a vaccuum, quickly followed by the rest of his body. And then Luthor, Power Ring, Trunks, Gohan and the two androids were consumed by it, as well. And then, there was only quietness.

And Pariah.

He stood in the void, unharmed. There was no up or down anymore. Only the wait until he was pulled into the next damned world.

He began crying. "Why...?"

The man raised his hands and waved his fists like a crazed beast. "How much longer must I pay for my sins before I'm spared from these horrors?! HOW MUCH?!"

And then that Earth was simply no more.

Biography:

The son of Bulma Briefs, genius inventor, and Vegeta, Prince of Saiyans, in a parallel timeline.

When Son Goku died of heart failure before Trunks' birth, Earth was not properly defended when Androids 17 and 18, creations of evil Doctor Gero, showed up killing everyone on their way for sport. The proud Vegeta was killed as well, leaving Goku's son, Gohan, as Trunks' tutor. When Bulma built a time machine, she sent Trunks back in time to save Goku and preventing their hellish future from ever existing.

While his alien heritage is dominating physically, he identifies himself as a human to the degree of granting him the Human trait.

The story above is just an omake from yet another parallel timeline and doesn't reflect on this Servant's backstory.

Class Skills:

Riding: A

The Servant is skilled at driving and piloting aerial, terrestrial, and aquatic vehicles. He even is able of handling ships meant for transportation in outer space.

Although he can ride dinosaurs this doesn't translate into him riding dragons or phantasmal beasts.

Magic Resistance: D

The Servant has little endurance against Magic, but he can dominate most magic users through his superior speed before they can attack him.

Personal Skills:

Chi Manipulation: A

Thanks to his taught dominion over his spiritual energy, he has access to a variety of diverse attacks that improve his range and versatility.

Burning Attack: A quick succession of glowing bursts of spiritual energy working as an artillery barrage on Saber's foes.

Heat Dome Attack: An energy attack shot from both hands that obliterates any but the most powerful enemies.

Shining Sword Attack: Saber charges his blade with chi and uses it with accurate skill to slice a foe. He used it to slay space tyrant Freezer.

Masenko: A technique first taught by Piccolo to Gohan, and then relayed to Trunks. An equivalent to Goku's Kamehameha.

Galick Gun: Vegeta's signature attack, which Trunks learned from observing him in the Room of Time and Space. An area wide projectile of chi.

Martial Arts: A

Trained by Son Gohan since early childhood, the Servant learned techniques first developed by Muten Roshi and honed by Son Goku.

As Gohan studied under Piccolo, Trunks has also learned several principles of Piccolo's fighting style.

Finally, he also trained with the Vegeta of the main timeline in the Room of Time and Space. He studied several of Vegeta's techniques while in there.

Saber is thus highly maneuverable and wise in the ways of a combatant. He wastes no motions unless he is in a Super Saiyan state (see below).

Even as a Super Saiyan, he still retains far more presence of mind than most pure-blooded Saiyans like his father or Son Goku.

Flight: A

Thanks to a combo of his Saiyan heritage and learning how to use his chi, Saber can fly at speeds that surpass those of most modern airships.

Noble Phantasms:

Senzu Beans- Hope for a Better Future : D

A form of special seeds cultivated by the feline Master Korin in his tower above the surface of the planet. They can heal any wounds instantly.

Trunks has access to bags of these beans, which can be used on himself and allies to nullify the effects of physical attacks, even poisoning.

Normal humans can consume them as well without receiving any damage.

The beans are powerless to repair psychic damage.

These seeds cannot be used more than once a day.

Super Saiyan Transformation: A

Self.

Saber taps on the power of the legendary Super Saiyan, a superior state of being that grants him incredible added Strength, Endurance and Agility.

His hair glows brightly and stands up, an aura of power that can blow others away from contact surrounding him.

His mind becomes slightly more arrogant and overly confident, so he may lose some tactical thinking. It is the downgrade it puts on a Saiyan's intellect.

Start of Battle:

"Do you like my looks? This isn't the moment to be discussing that."

"Goku isn't the only Super Saiyan... There's another one right here!"

"There's no need for a warm-up here."

"Give me everything you've got!"

"Prepare to be defeated!"

Attack:

"It's over!"

"Time to end this!"

"You're through!"

"You need to be stopped!"

"I'll never give up!"

Damage:

"Fools!"

"This battle's not over!"

"Such power!"

"I'm in awe!"

"I can't give up!"

Damage by Noble Phantasm: "No, I won't fail them!"

Victory:

"This is the power of mortals believing in each other, the power in believing in something bigger than you!"

"Thank you, everyone!"

"Enemies can grow stronger too. I can never relent in my training."

"I have to become stronger… Who knows what enemies await?"

"Now you've been introduced to the true power of mortals!"

Defeat:

"Father!"

"Ugh..."

"What will become of this world?"

"Apocalypse... it is happening again! No!"

"You are worse than the Androids!"

Summon: "Servant Saber. Greetings. Are you the one who summoned me?"

Noble Phantasm Activation:

"Look, I don't have many of these, so use them wisely. These are Senzu Beans. Use them and you'll be as new!"

"AAAAHHHHHH! This is the power of the Super Saiyan of legend!"

"Oh, my mother was a scientist too. Nice to meet you... Huh? Yes, she built a time machine. How did you know?" (When you have Rider Chao Lingshen).

Birthday: "H-Happy birthday. Sorry I don't have anything good to say. When I was a kid... our parties were quite on the small side..."

Event: "I can't feel anything too bad coming from there... But the worst villains usually can mask their chi..."

Holy Grail: "With this... could I bring my world back? How powerful is it, compared to the Dragon Balls?"
