461 | Arrogante?

"That's oddly surprising… your crewmembers are really tough? I wonder why?" Brook said as he saw Franky, getting pushed back by the two parasite-controlled pirate, before Anchor joined in for help.

Anchor also seemed to have gone through some major changes that morphed his body similar to a pacifista and was firing off yellow beams to keep both of them at bay.

"Well, now that you are in the crew, Brook-san. You will more or less know why we are though…" Bartolomeo said with a tired voice as he casually tanked Johnny's onslaught of attack.

The rest of the crew behind them could only nod, peaking Brook's curiosity. It was same for Perona as well. When she was little she had to struggle a lot. She was once part of the family, but that memory only brought sadness to her. She didn't remember much, before Moria took her in, every day was a fight for survival.

Her life wouldn't be anything if Moria didn't take her in, so he was like a father figure to her. But even then the whole pirate thing didn't give credit to building bonds. That's why seeing the straw hat pirates she was intrigued by their almost not-so-serious casual demeanor.

They were a wild bunch, but there was something about them that just meant something. She didn't know what…

Her thoughts were cut off when suddenly a whiteworm jumped out of the ground and slammed into the green barrier scaring her. The girl quickly gathered herself before huffing. The whole green barrier-box was attracting a ton of whiteworms who were throwing themselves at them.

"Ew… aren't there any way to stop these things," Perona said, "I really don't like worms…"

"Yeah," Bartolomeo said, "I can't keep the barrier for too long or we might run out of air."

"Out of oxygen," Chopper corrected.

"Yeah, what the doctor said." Bartolomeo nodded.

"Yohohoho~ let me try something," Brook said stepping up as he rubbed his chin, looking at the influx of whiteworms, "You guys need to chill out a bit…" he said as he spun his cane, his eyes focused and his voice became powerful and deep "Freeze Arrogante… I mean, cool down. Yohohoho~" quickly changing back to his voice to his jolly tone.

And right as he did, frost started spreading out from his feet, freezing a good portion of the ground and even taking out a good number of white worms with them.

"What the…" Chopper said, sneezing. "*Hacu… That's so cool."

"Literally…" Perona said, while she held her arms shivering.

"Yeah…" Hatchan said, also feeling quite chilly due to the sudden change in weather. "Didn't know you could do that…"

"Yohohoh… I'm but a man of many talents." Brook said. "My ice should stop the worms for a while… I covered at least ten feet of the ground in solid ice, they shouldn't be able to come out for a while…"

"Yeah… we should leave while we can. Eh… where's Usopp?" Hatchan asked looking around, on his shoulder the shrunken size of Momoo doing the same.

"Uh-oh… this isn't good," Bartolomeo said bringing all of their attention back to Johnny.

The half-zoan was taking a huge lung full of air to prepare his sonic attack. And if one of the things Bartolomeo's shield couldn't block was these kinds of attacks. Attacks that were able to negate durability.

"We have to do something…" Chopper said in a panic tone. The others had similar reactions.

Robin quickly crossed her arms, "Dos Fleur: Shigan!"

Suddenly two arms sprouted around Johnny's chest and attacked his throat with finger pistol.

The group winched as they saw the half-zone choking and coughing while holding his throat, saving the group from the attack. And before Johnny could do something else, two more hands sported and poked his eyes giving the pirate more than enough injuries to keep himself busy for a while.

The group winched seeing Johnny before looking towards Robin.

"You are welcome," Robin said dusting off her hands.

"Nice one Robin. Usopp sleeping powder smash!" Usopp said out of nowhere as the group saw the sniper slamming something into Johnny's face, before shrinking away.

The poor zoan user started coughing again, his face white from the white powder-like substance. The poor zoan user tried to randomly attack Usopp, but couldn't. He also started to get sloopy, as the sleeping drug was taking effect and the sniper used this to his advantage returning back to his size and cuffing Johnny's hands with sea stone cuffs.

Johnny fell as weakness overtook him and the drug fully took effect as Usopp tripped him, making him fall to the ground. The sniper took out a bundle of rope from somewhere, quickly —and almost comically— tying the zoan user up. "One down!" Usopp said.

There was a round of applause as the crew clapped from behind the barrier.

"Good job." Chopper said.

"Well, performance indeed," Brook clapped.

"Nice one, long-nose," Perona agreed.

Usopp opened his mouth to say something but before he could Law suddenly appeared switching himself with a nearby rock, a tied-up Bepo with him. It seemed Usopp was helping Law while others weren't paying attention.

"We have to get out of here," Law said cutting to the chase, "They have been infected with some kind of parasite and I have to work on them immediately…" he said with a bit of stress.

"We still have Cricket and Yosaku to worry about…" Usopp said but Law was already gone from his spot.

"Room!" Law said from the other side, barging in where the duo was. "Ampute!" Quickly used his sword to cut them into three chuncks, ending the fight in mere moments.

"What the…" Anchor said.

"Oi, we had it handled…" Franky complained.

"No time to fight guys…" Coby called out, "Cause I need some help here…" the young pirate called out as he was getting chased by a wild Gin heading towards them.

Law clicked his tounge, unlike Cricket and Yosaku he couldn't use powers on Gin, who was stronger than him. And to top it all off, the ground started to shake before erupting as a group of huge sandworms came out roaring. And that wasn't all, there were even small bee-like creatures that were buzzing angrily at them.

"This is bad…" Law said.

Both Anchor and Franky slowly looked towards him. "You don't say…"

Elsewhere in the Grandline,

"Gurararara…" The large man laughed stretching out his hand, "Be my daughter, Bonney…"

"WHAT!" the Bonney Pirates had their jaw on the floor, as even Bonney didn't know what to say. The girl who was actually a kid at heart had a lot of emotions running through her heart, so she just looked dumbfounded at the offer.

Ace who was with the group scratched the back of his head. Yeah, he should have expected this.

This in some ways was a world-changing event that would shape the future of the world. The girl shredding some tears accepted the offer sharing her dreams with the uniting with her real father, and Whitebeard accepted it.

And as all of this was happening Kuma was seeing the whole thing with the hidden transponder snail he set up. And he was also impacted by Bonney's decision, a proud smile dawned his face as he disappeared from his spot.

Things were about to change and the world government would suddenly find things much harder as yet another warlord had gone missing before a war. One that was crucial for the development of the pacifista project.
