Sarutobi Hiruzen. The Third Hokage. The God of Shinobi, The Professor.
Now in the middle of his tiring paperwork. Which of course was every Kage's worst enemy. How was it that Minato was able to beat every's Kage's worst enemy?
Everytime he sees one pile of paperwork after another he was so tempted in flipping over his desk out of frustration and cursed Minato's name for not telling him the secret of how to defeat paperwork.
Maybe once he dies he'll go to the afterlife and have words with Minato.
But that's not all important right now. He know he has an important meeting with the council. Along with the team selections. Wanting to see the Jonins pick their teams and lead them to greatness.
Maybe when he has some time I'll check on Naruto and see how he's doing.
Naruto.
The boy who now holds the Kyuubi. He knows the boy is not well loved here in Konoha with the people knowing what he has inside him.
How unfortunate...
The boy was kicked out of the orphanage at 6 and was forced to live on the streets for a month. Struggling to survive from every mob attack he would get at nights or in the day time. He didn't want the idiotic villagers to kill the boy with high chances of the Kyuubi being freed and will kill everyone here plus no one to seal the Kyuubi back. Well there's Jiraiya his student who claims he's a seals master and he's currently out in the field maintaining his spy network. Since only an Uzumaki can hold the Kyuubi and sadly there are no more Uzumaki with Naruto as the last one.
He can't let those fools kill their only Jinchuriki.
So Hiruzen thought of a plan to keep the boy somewhere else... a place he hoped he didn't have to regret someday.
He sent Naruto to live in the ruined leaf. Already an apartment there. In which Naruto took since the boy did need a place a stay and had given the boy some money to be able to survive off of.
He hopes he doesn't regret sending the boy to that part of the leaf village. Knowing who rules that area.
Mizuki Shiranui.
Who was once a Kunoichi. A strong one at that, she retired.
He was worried that she might take notice in the boy since he's a Jinchuriki...
He'd use his crystal ball to watch Naruto to make sure the boy wasn't into any trouble at the ruined leaf.
Unfortunately he did that when Naruto was 11 years old at that time.
What Hiruzen did not know was that Shiranui had already taken an interest in Naruto and took him in under her wing under his nose. The Naruto he would see on his crystal ball at the apartment he was given was an illusion created by Shiranui to fool the Hokage.
She didn't want take any chances of him looking for Naruto.
When Naruto was doing fine at his apartment. He didn't seem worried about the boy.
But the possibility of Shiranui taking an interest in Naruto worried him. Normally he would send a team of Anbu to Naruto's apartment location in the ruined leaf. To keep Watch of things.
When his team returned they would give him good reports that Naruto was safe and very secured.
Yeah. About that. Shiranui knew the old Kage was dead set on keeping a watch on Naruto. She had her own soldiers to capture the Anbu Squad he sent and had their memories altered and erased. She made sure that not even the Yamanaka clan members would check into the minds of those Anbu. Because she erased some of their memories and had them altered in her own way.
After that he would shift a different Anbu Squad to take watch on Naruto. He knew Yugao Uzuki was pretty familiar with the boy and was once his protector at some point. So he requested her Squad to take a watch on Naruto in the ruined leaf. She hated that area and knew what goes on in that area. She didn't like the fact the Hokage sent Naruto there. Knowing exactly what that place is filled with and no place for a child.
She agreed and had went there.
Yugao of course wasn't prepared of what's to come. Her Squad were no match for Shiranui's soldiers. And were defeated. As they were captured and brought to Shiranui to have their memories erased and Altered.
In the fight Yugao went toe to toe with Akiyama Rinko who was a much master swordswoman and bested her in sword combat.
Her squad had their memories erased and altered. Except for her.
Yugao was an exception. Shiranui saw potential in Yugao to join her ranks.
At first Yugao protested and refused serving Shiranui but the woman was very persuasive. That she would let her see Naruto under one condition. And that was to pledge her loyalty to her criminal empire and in return she would learn sword lessons from Rinko and Asagi. Not in a position to deny such a thing. Since her memories would be erased if she refused.
So Yugao Uzuki the Anbu Captain became a ranking member in Shiranui's empire and spy for her. She did get to see Naruto on her free time. She is the only Anbu member with her memories still intact.
She returned to the Hokage and told him Naruto was safe and did no trouble at all. At the ruined leaf. And that she and her squad would personally watch him in that area.
Hiruzen accepted that. Seeing her trusts her in doing her job. But what he did not know that she's no longer loyal to him and is loyal to Shiranui.
With a sigh he left his office going to the meeting.
( Council Chamber)
There in the Konoha Council chamber were the governing system of the village have their meetings to discuss benefits and decisions for the leaf village.
There are the Civilian Council who are no doubt corrupt and were originally in charge of the Ruined Leaf until Shiranui came along and took that from them. Some of the founding leaders of the civilian council were alive the old and former ones were killed in secret by Shiranui's soldiers and assassins since they attempted to take back the Ruined Leaf from her. She had to make her point clear that she owns this part of the leaf now and made threats to those she didn't ordered to be killed. She threatened to expose their secrets or have a member of their family or loved ones killed. She blackmailed them and played on their fears. They complied to her and let her keep control of the ruined leaf out of fear not wanting to lose their position on the council or have their family or friends killed by her.
The Shinobi Council which is run by the Clanheads and higher ranking Shinobi like Jonins or Anbu commander. The Clan heads. Who are the ninja clans of Konoha. The Uchiha Clan, Yamanaka clan, Nara Clan, Hyuga Clan, Abrame Clan, Inuzuka Clan, Amikichi Clan. Also two other clans who's seats on the council is voided. And those are the Senju and Uzumaki. The Senju Clan with Tsunade as the only Senju left alive had left after the Kyuubi attack. The Uzumaki clan had died with Kushina Uzumaki... when apparently the Uzumaki clan does belong to Naruto it's his birthright.
The Uchiha clan. Or what's left of it. Sitting in the Uchiha clan seat was Mikoto Uchiha. Who is a survivor of the uchiha massacre with just her and her son Sasuke. And to an extent. Her Oldest Daughter Izumi Uchiha. Who is the slayer of the Uchiha clan and killed Fugaku along with the other Uchiha who attempted a Coup. But there is more to it than just a Coup.
Izumi like with Yugao was also Naruto's protector. When she heard of where Naruto lived she didn't like that area he lived in and went there to check on him.
During the time when he was 11. Izumi went to go check on him only to find that he wasn't at the apartment and soon she was cornered by Yugao and several soldiers loyal to Shiranui. It wasn't until Sakura Iwaga and Murasaki Yatsu defeated Izumi and brought her to their queen.
Shiranui also believed Izumi has potential in joining her ranks. And used her persuasion as the voice of reason to get Izumi to see her way of things. And saw that Izumi is sick and somewhat blind. Shiranui Offered her help in the Under Eden Hospital that's in the ruined leaf and brought Izumi back to full health. She offered Izumi a deal to be in the her ranks and to be a spy of the Uchiha clan.
Izumi would report to Shiranui about the Uchiha's plans for overthrowing the Hokage and want to kidnap Naruto Uzumaki and use him to unleash the Kyuubi. Which of course angered Shiranui and ordered Izumi to get rid of the Uchiha clan. While sparing her mother. Who could be useful in the future. She didn't care much about Izumi's younger brother. Shiranui just wanted Izumi and Mikoto at her side.
Right now Izumi is now a missing-nin. With Mikoto as the clan head for the Uchiha clan.
The Elders. Who are the Advisors to the Hokage.
And these elders consist of: Koharu, Homura and Danzo Shimura.
All three of them are former teammates to Hiruzen Sarutobi. Who is the third Hokage.
And now the Third Hokage makes himself known to the meeting.
"Greetings my fellow council. I trust everyone is here?" Asks Hiruzen until the doors opened up revealing Mizuki Shiranui and Yuyami.
The council tensed when they saw these two enter.
"I hope I'm not late?" Shiranui asked with many looking her way shaking their heads while the civilian council bowed their heads in submission to her.
"Of course not Shiranui-san. We are just getting started." Hiruzen answered as she nodded. And walked over to her seat limping slightly. With Yuyami helping her for support. Making the council raise eyebrows at this.
"Ohhh.. my legs and ass hurts... from Naruto going so rough inside me..."She thought with a blush as her night with Naruto burned in her memory.
"Okay.. we may now begin." Hiruzen would say with Danzo having a Scowl at Shiranui.
He hated the fact that she has a seat on the council. And because of her influence over the ruined leaf was what gained her some political power and have seat on the council. He too wanted control over the ruined leaf by building hidden Root bunkers and bases there. Maybe even outposts but with her in the way she needed to be dealt with.
He devised two Root Strike teams into the Ruined Leaf and ordered them to assassinate Shiranui. The first strike team was ordered to assassinate Shiranui. The second strike team was sent to retrieve Naruto. Since he heard that the boy lives in the ruined leaf and with Hiruzen busy with paperwork and such Danzo couldn't pass up this opportunity to have his men sneak into the ruined Leaf and take the boy.
The Root Commander waited and waited for two nights. For his men to return to see if they were successful in their missions.
One night at his house. Danzo received a package at his door. A very big package. Wondering what it was since he didn't recall getting any unsuspected packages. After he opened the package which shocked him that inside the package was the heads of both strike teams he sent into the Ruined leaf. Inside the package with the heads of his men was a scroll. He opened it and to his surprise. Coming out of the Seal was Akiyama Rinko. Who was in a black rubber suit with a mask on her head and face so she wouldn't be recognizable. She didn't have her sword with her at the time but had sharp claws laced with poison and pinned the Old Root Commander against the Wall. Telling him Shiranui's message for him.
"Danzo-san. Her highness says if you send anymore of your root drones into the ruined leaf ever again she'll expose your secrets to the Hokage and your root organization including making attempts on kidnapping orphans taking them into your root base that's underneath konoha. Also she will tip other Shinobi villages that you have Root operatives there in their villages hiding in the shadows awaiting your orders."
That made Danzo angry, paranoid and very worried.. since he made lots of enemies in the last Shinobi war.
When Rinko delivered her message to Danzo the girl vanished before Danzo could do anything.
It made Danzo seethe that even Shiranui put fear into him. He knew her threat was serious. Of all the crimes and war crimes he's done with illegal Activities he's done he knew that he could go to prison or worse face execution for all his crimes. And not even Koharu and Homura who are his supporters can't save him or back him up.
He felt humiliated, angry, paranoid of what Shiranui could do if he so much as go after her again. But he didn't understand why she targeted his second strike team that was meant to bring the Kyuubi Jinchuriki to him. Was she trying to protect him? Or perhaps keep the boy for herself?
He couldn't do nothing now. He couldn't risk being exposed of his dirty secrets and Crimes. So had to suck up his pride and just take the blow she made on him. Someday he will plot revenge on how to get back at her when her guard is down.
He wasn't going to let that bitch get in his way to rise to power as Hokage someday. Knowing she'll be a threat to him.
"So now you all heard that Mizuki has stolen the Forbidden Scroll but was stopped by Iruka and killed the man." Hiruzen had announced
"Yes. Good work he did. To think Mizuki was a spy to Orochimaru and commanded him to steal the forbidden scroll yet was defeated by Iruka. The scroll is safe and secure I presume right?" Asked Shikaku Nara the Clanhead of the Nara Clan with his fellow clanheads nodding in agreement
"Yes. It is perfectly safe. We nearly lost an important item if it wasn't for Iruka stopping Mizuki." Hiruzen says with everyone nodding unaware of Shiranui's dark smile.
Jokes on them. Because she actually has the forbidden scroll. They are given a fake that's disguised as a Kunai. The real Scroll is in her penthouse where she will learn knowledge.
"Idiots. All of them are."She would say mentally since no one was aware that the scroll they have is a fake and the real one is in the hands of Shiranui.
"Yeah. But where is Mizuki's fiancée?" Homura asks with Hiruzen sighing
"I don't know what happened to Tsubaki. When word of that Mizuki stole the forbidden scroll last night and his death she was no where to be found. " Hiruzen says with many having double takes.
"What? So she disappeared?" Inoichi would say.
"We are still looking for her. I've already sent hunter nins out to look for her. She disappeared right after Mizuki had died last night." Hiruzen says
"Do you think she was in on stealing the forbidden scroll?" Asked Koharu.
"We don't know. As soon as she's found. We will interrogate her and see if she was in on it or not." Hiruzen says with everyone murmuring and not aware of Shiranui's smile.
After Mizuki died and when Shiranui was told what happened she had Murasaki go and capture Tsubaki and bring her to the ruined leaf under eden prison.
She already has her jailers in that prison to train Tsubaki. Into becoming a prostitute.
"Well hopefully she'll be found and then interrogated." Hiruzen would say as they began to speak political matters. As Yuyami and Shiranui continued to watch and listen.
( Later on at the Hokage Tower)
Hiruzen was in his office with several jonin as he looked from each of them in the room.
He looked at his son. Asuma Sarutobi who wants to train the next generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho trio. Which seems appropriate.
His eyes turned to Kurenai Yuhi who wants Hinata Hyuuga, Kiba Inuzuka and Shino Abrame. As the new tracking team.
Team nine is still active so Might guy is currently out with his students at the moment which shouldn't surprise him.
Then there are two other Jonins as he kept his focus on the two.
Kakashi Hatake. The man with 1000 jutsu's and wants To lead team 7 with his students as Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Naruto Uzumaki. Who wants the new team 7 as a perfect assault team and wants to make them amazing like the next generation as the Sannin themselves.
Then Hiruzen's eyes shifted over to the last jonin in the room. Asagi Iwaga. The woman already has two hand picked students of her own two girls named Saya and Kula. Making Team 11 as the perfect Strike team. And Asagi requests Naruto Uzumaki on her team.
Since Asagi heard from her queen to have Naruto placed on her team and not let the others have him.
Hiruzen looks from both Kakashi and Asagi.
"So both of you want Naruto Uzumaki on your team?" Hiruzen asks seeing the two nod.
"Yes. Hokage-sama. I feel with Naruto on team 7. He is a chakra powerhouse I can teach him any number of ninjutsu for him to plow through enemies someday I also think with him on the team Naruto will inspire both Sasuke and Sakura and can be the heart of the team." Kakashi explained bluntly
"I see. Asagi." Hiruzen turns to her who gave a glare at Kakashi.
"Naruto would be better on team 11. I can bring out his potential and true power as a Shinobi. I have trained Naruto little during his days in the academy. I know him a bit better than Kakashi." Asagi answered since she did train Naruto in the Chaos Arena in the ruined leaf.
"Hmmm I see. Well I'm going to have to make a decision that only one of you will get Naruto." Hiruzen says with Asagi hoping she gets the boy on her team and if he's not on the team she knows Shiranui will not be happy.
"My decision will be made in two days. On Friday. You all are dismissed." Hiruzen says with all the Jonins nodding as they turned to leave.
He hopes he makes the right decision whether to put Naruto on Asagi's team or Kakashi's.
( Two days later on Friday)
"Welcome back. I have made my decision." Hiruzen says towards Asagi and Kakashi
"Team 11 will have Naruto Uzumaki as its new member." Hiruzen answered with Asagi smiling while Kakashi frowned and closes his book.
"I'm sorry Hokage-sama. I was under the impression that Naruto was to be put on my team?" Kakashi says feeling a bit disappointed by this.
"I'm sorry Kakashi. But my decision has been made. Asagi Iwaga is Naruto's Sensei. You will have a new student named Sai." Hiruzen says
"Now you two are dismissed." He added as Asagi left with Kakashi narrowing his eye at her retreating form.
How did she get Naruto in her team. The boy was supposed to be on his!
( Academy)
"Okay. Team 7 will consist of Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno and Sai! Your Sensei is Kakashi Hatake." Iruka called out with Sakura cheering she's on Sasuke's team. While Ino grumbled
"Team 8. Kiba Inuzuka, Shino Abrame and Hinata Hyuuga. Your Sensei is Kurenai Yuhi." Iruka says with Kiba happy that he got Hinata while Shino remained stoic. Hinata was saddened that she wasn't on a team with Naruto.
"Team 10! Shikamaru Nara, Choji Akimichi and Ino Yamanaka your Sensei is Asuma Sarutobi!" Iruka called out with Ino grumbling that she's on a team stuck with lazy ass and chubby boy could her day get any worse.
"And last but not least! Team 11! Naruto Uzumaki! Saya and Kula! Your Sensei is Asagi Iwaga!" Iruka says as suddenly Asagi arrived in the classroom with Saya and Kula at her side. The girls in the classroom had looks of Envy at Asagi, Kula and Saya. While Kiba was drooling at them.
Hinata also stares at the female team that Naruto is going with...
Naruto grins as he gets up from his seat and leaves with his team.
