In the Waterfall estate, The Tomioka Twins are playing tag around the yard, laughing and giggling and Giyu peacefully watches them playing. "Sorry Kanae, it took a little longer, but the secret is out. I think it's best for her to see her niece and nephew, when the time comes." Until Gyomei arrived to Giyu as he noticed him and says "here to check up on me?" "Of course, i should have a long time since Kanae passed away. Then again i pray for your happiness with your children." Says Gyomei as he crys and prays "thanks, it means enough to me." "I must ask, What did your daughter mean when she said it took our master so long to get you to join us?" Asked Gyomei and Giyu was hesitant "i received offering from being a Pillar since age 13 but i rejected it until 6 months of convincing. All because I'm not worthy of this title. I hardly had any participation in the selection exam. I never passed it nor did i survived. I was bailed out, i couldn't kill a single demon there and they say i passed. I'm nothing but weak. I have no talent. I don't deserve to stand shoulder to shoulder with you as equals. I'm not supposed to be a pillar of water, it was supposed to be my old friend who was ten times stronger than me, who died saving everyone in the exam. You all judged me and young Kamado without even listening to my reasoning, already most of you are blood thirsty and it consumes your mind to not listen. No one gets to understand me enough, there is nothing special in me." Gyomei crying and begins Caressing his head "Poor soul, suffering this much inside, you couldn't even trust us for your own family. I see how painful it gets, i give you my deepest apologies for everything. I shall get going now." Says Gyomei as he leaves
Later on in the Butterfly Mansion, Shinobu in her room crying and as she says "why her? Why not me? Doesn't he realise i love him? What did Nee-san had that i don't? And when was she pregnant and got married? age 15? Did she not trust me enough to tell me?" As she continues crying. "Hold on, since Nee-san isn't here, i could have a chance and have the twins to see me as their new Mom... wait, do i really want to make my niece and nephew my son and daughter?" Asked Shinobu as she rubs her face on the bed "I'm so messed up."
Meanwhile at the Love Estate, Mitsuri having an argument with Obanai "Seriously?! You hate him for What?! For no Apparent reason?!" Yelled Mitsuri as Obanai seem stunned to see her mad "Kanroji i-" "Do you have any Idea how many Times he rejected my invites!? I wanted to bond with him, to know him. I couldn't just leave him off behind, He's a comrade of ours!! I can talk to who ever i Wish. You are no one to control Nature towards me." "Kanroji, i was just.." says Obanai but Mitsuri Cut him off saying "Jealous?! You stare at those who i talk to. Do you have any idea what it's like being Judged?!" Obanai couldn't even speak as Mitsuri couldn't take it any more as she tells Obanai "Get out." "Kanro-" Obanai tries to speak but she cut him off "GET OUT! DON'T SPEAK TO ME AGAIN!" yelled Mitsuri as Obanai leaves the estate. Obanai started to get angry to the kids "that brat, I'll kill them. I'll kill both of them." As he starts Marching away in anger until his crow gave him the order for a mission.
Sanemi slaying dummies while feeling depressed in his estate until a letter comes in from a familiar crow 'is that Kanae's crow?' he takes it as he reads it. Sanemi couldn't comprehend what he read, he was feeling the guilt, and he decided to look up in the sky Feeling the tears in his eyes coming out. Saying "Oh Kocho, i am so sorry." As he started to look at himself at the mirror, he tried smirking and he immediately saw his father, and it's haunting him. He falls to the ground and feels scared and asks "what have i Become?" He could feel the guilt of how much of a monster he has become he remembers how he insulted his master, attacked Rengoku and harrasing the Kamado boy. And each and every moment he got scolded and humiliated after realising how messed up he become.
Later on, Giyu being accompanied by the twins and heading to the butterfly mansion as he enters as Aoi comes as she Saw Giyu with kids, "Tomioka-sama-" she saw how the girl looked like Kanae "wait...why does she?" Asked Aoi "Kanae and i we're secretly dating? Does that answer your question?" Says Giyu and Aoi got shocked to hear that, since when did she gave birth to children? "Is Kocho here?" Aoi says "she is...does she know about them?" And Giyu answered "yesterday, she found out. So... butterfly mansion meeting between us and you all." Aoi nods as moments passed in the living room, Kanao, Aoi and the Caterpillar trio meeting the twins. Shocked to learn about a secret, and meeting the twins. "..So that's what happened, we very much kept it a secret.." says Giyu and Aoi was quite surprised and says "well, that's something." Shinobu walks in and saw the kids, she walks to them, knees down "Ara Ara, so you decide to come here. I wonder what my sister saw in a loner like you." Says Shinobu as Giyu not responding to her as "So, how is your father doing?" Asked Shinobu to the twins while smiling and Giyu just observing as Giichi in his cold tone says "Take that hoari off, it's creeping me out to see Mom in you." Shinobu left confused and Yumi says "Oni-chan! that's not nice to say that to aunty Shinobu." "Yeah, that depends considering that i sense deep anger and stress behind her smile." Says Giichi and Shinobu felt moved for a second, like a chill running down her spine. "Well, i better get going on my mission. Giichi, Yumi, try not to do anything stupid." "Yes!" Says the twins and Giyu faces to her "well then, I'm off" he leaves immediately as Giichi faces to the others "so, think you can show us around?" "Not yet Oni-chan, we need to bond with Auntie Shinobu, Kanao and Aoi. We can't just ditch them off like that." Says Yumi and Giichi breathing and saying "Sorry, i just wanted to see how mom's estate is like...say Aunty Shinobu, i want to ask." Shinobu replied "what is it Giichi-san?" "Why do you hate dad?" Asked Giichi and Shinobu felt moved to hear such a question like that. "What!? What makes you think that?" Asked Shinobu and Yumi says "we aren't thinking it, he does. Dad believes everyone hates him and... you kept rubbing it on his face." While crossing her arms "I don't hate him, im just telling him that if he doesn't speak, people will hate him. I'm just telling him that he has no friends and he would prove me wrong." says Shinobu "Reverse psychology?" Asked both the twins and Shinobu says "yes!" While in a cheerful way and Yumi faces to Giichi and he nodded at her, Yumi comes closer to Shinobu "that's..." Says Yumi and Shinobu guesses "Genius...right?"
Yumi Slapped Shinobu in her face leaving the girls in shocked, Shinobu felt shock to see her niece doing that as Yumi crying, tearing out "That! Is Horriblely Dumb! Do you have Any idea How much this affected him?!" Shinobu saw her sister's daughter crying as Yumi yelled "you insult him constantly! While Acting Like my Mom! Do you have any idea how much has he been Isolating himself!? You say Everyone hates him? MY DAD HATES HIMSELF EVEN MORE!" Shinobu felt shocked to hear that, Giichi crosses his arms and says "he's good at taking care of us, but he's not good at taking care of himself. He kept rubbing about himself being unworthy of being a Pillar and it's giving your master a hard time in convincing others to make him feel like he's welcome. But unfortunately some other pillars made it worse, things fell apart since mom passed away." "You know are master?" Asked Shinobu and Giichi replied "we are friends with the Ubayushiki Quintuplets, as such we have a long term bond with the master." Shinobu holding her cheek to where Yumi slapped she saw how mad Yumi is, "Please, for mom's sake. Stop hurting my dad. He's already having a tough life." Says Yumi and Shinobu saw how Her sister Kanae in her, "alright then, I won't do it...Nee-san, I'll make things right." Yumi realises how Shinobu is seeing her and Yumi says "i understand you need time."
As time passes as Obanai on a distant mission and still furious, yelling "Tomioka, you are always in my way. How dare you? I lost my Mitsuri, I'll kill him but I can't. No matter how many times I tried, i can't Beat Tomioka in a sparring match, I hate you Tomioka! If I can't Kill you, then i'll kill your daughter then." "I sense Despair and Hatred" says a mysterious voice as Obanai points his sword to the one who turned out to be upper moon 1. "You seem to have a desire to get rid of the one you hate. But you lack strength, no matter what." Says Kokushibu "So what if i do? I always hated that Conceited brat. I couldn't beat him, why does it concern you?" asked Obanai "You seek vengeance, and to regain your love of your life. Perhaps an offering will help you into it." Says Kokushibu as Obanai in his thoughts and asked "you want me to become a demon? Is that it, if it means regain My Mitsuri and destroying the Tomioka Family, then I'm in." "Give me your hands then." Obanai gives his hands as Kokushibu gives him his blood, "To hope that the man himself will accept you. You must drink it, You shall not drop one single part of the blood, or else you are one dead meat. We could have another breath user on our side." Obanai takes his mask off as he drinks it. 'Tomioka Giyu, I'm coming for you.'
