July 5th, 2054 - 07:51:19, 9 Miles East Of The Korean DMZ, in the USMA (United States Marines Airship) Swordbreaker's assembly room, Sentinel Team catches up with Lieutenant Colonel Norman Lennox, Major Benjamin 'Smokejumper' White, Captain Victoria Seo-ah Mi (Nancy Jewel McDonie) and Lieutenant Junior Grade Tyler Powers (Wyatt Russell) before the briefing starts.
Preacher: *smiles* Hey, Norman, Benji, Victoria, Ty'! What's up, guys?
Lennox: *chuckles* *hugs Preacher* Not much, kiddo. You?
Preacher: Same old, but with some 4th of July excitement.
Smokejumper: *hugs Preacher* Great to see you again, Will. Shame your holiday had to be ruined.
Preacher: Missed you too, buddy. And it's nothing. Answering short notice calls is what we signed up for.
Tyler: *hugs Preacher* If it ain't my favorite Marine. Good to see you, dude.
Preacher: My favorite SEAL. Good to see you too, man.
Victoria: *hugs Preacher* Happy you and Sentinel Team could make it, William.
Preacher: Glad you and the others can make it too, Victoria.
Mitchell: Careful, Will. Don might get jealous.
Jackson: *flips off Mitchell* Asshole.
Preacher and Victoria: *laughing*
Jackson and Mitchell: *laughing*
But the happy reunion gets rudely interrupted when the Assault Airship flies over Carrier Strike Group Three, the USS Abraham Lincoln's carrier strike group.
USMA Swordbreaker Captain: All hands, be advised, we're flying over the bombed USS Abraham Lincoln strike group now. I say again, we are flying over the bombed USS Abraham Lincoln strike group now. Transmitting live feed.
Preacher: Wait! BOMBED?!
All: WHOA! What the fuck?! What the hell?!
Preacher: No, no, NOOOO!
Smokejumper: Those North Korean fuckers!
Victoria: I'm so sorry, America.
Jackson: So that's the crisis situation our letters didn't tell us.
Lennox: What the hell happened?
Tyler: Remember Beratrix? She and her wingmen were conducting a long-range patrol when three short-range nuclear missiles from North Korea hit the USS Abraham Lincoln. And with it, Carrier Strike Group Three.
Preacher: Are Beratrix, Falcon, Thompson and Stash alright?
Tyler: Yeah, they were out of the nukes' blast radii. But they had to fight their way to Carrier Strike Group Five as North Korean MiG-29s and U.N. Su-47s chased after them. I was on the USS Ronald Reagan waiting to be posted on the Abraham Lincoln when North Korea renewed this one hundred one-year-old conflict. I was also one of the first to tend to them when they landed.
Mitchell: What a shitshow.
Battle Commander: Sentinel Team! Where the fuck is Sentinel Team?! Major Cormack, Lieutenant Colonel Lennox, bring all six your men! With me, NOW!
Lennox: Yes, sir.
Cormack: On your six, sir.
Victoria: Six? *points and quietly counts* Minus Lennox and Cormack, we're seven.
Preacher: It's okay, Captain. C'mon.
Now that the USMA Swordbreaker is hovering over the Korean Demilitarized Zone, Colonel Dexter Littleton, callsign: Battle Commander (just "Battle Commander" in the original), the commanding officer of the Marine Raider Regiment, assembles Sentinel Team, including their old Winslow Accord teammates, for Operation Unseen Guillotine. A mission from the top that will go a long way with the hearts and minds of every single victim of North Korea.
Battle Commander: Just the people I need. Cormack, since your one-time joint effort two years ago was so successful and our new orders require a Tier 1 immediate response force, I'll be utilizing it for this op. Which means Task Force Sentinel is reactivated. With the five of us this time. Marine Raider Regiment, 24th Special Tactics Squadron, SEAL Team 4, Australian S.A.S. Regiment, 707th Special Mission Group.
Cormack: That's good news, sir. But just to clarify, Task Force Sentinel wasn't exactly my—
Battle Commander: Don't worry, it doesn't matter. What does matter is that I was on a secure video call with POTUS three minutes ago. She's called it. We can no longer leave Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in power. With his forces and the U.N.'s support, he can conquer South Korea for good and wipe out the entire 7th Fleet, with us along with it. We have been tasked... to KILL the motherfucker!
Task Force Sentinel: YEAH! *cheering* *clapping*
Battle Commander: I'm glad you're pleased. Now, here's how Operation Unseen Guillotine will go.
Preacher: (quietly) Long time coming, right Captain?
Victoria: (quietly) Indeed, William.

According to deep cover South Korean Intelligence assets, Kim Jong Un is leaving his country to command the Korean People's Army from the safety and lavish comfort of the United Nations Headquarters. At this time, the Supreme Leader is en route to Pyongyang International Airport via motorcade, with his secret service augmented by the Korean People's Army Special Operations Forces.
Task Force Sentinel is in position all over the airfield, waiting for the right time to strike. With Preacher, Mitchell and Jackson on its air traffic control tower, which they quietly and violently took.
Preacher: All Sentinels, I have Red Star's motorcade in my sights. ETA: two Mikes, over.
Cormack: Understood, Sentinel 9. Ambush is set. Let 'em come, over.
Mitchell: Christ, it hurts to see. Where did all this smog come from anyway?
Jackson: I saw abandoned ground and air vehicles running on the way here. Creating huge toxic fogs must be a tactic in case we ever land on North Korean soil.
Mitchell: I see. Should've brought a mask and some goggles.
Jackson: Hell of an opportunity we got, huh? Especially for a simple IRF like this.
Preacher: We got our professional, efficient and competent leaders and God to thank for that. God bless Ivanka Trump's America.
Jackson: *chuckles* Oo-rah.
Mitchell: *sighs* Join the Marines, he said. It's a non-negotiable family trade, he said.
Preacher: How long were you in the Marine Raiders when we first met again?
Mitchell: Six months. And I still haven't fitted in.
Preacher: Peacetime blues?
Mitchell: *sighs* Maybe.
Preacher: Shh, here they come.
Jackson: (off comms) Yep, got 'em. (on comms) Sentinel 7 to all Sentinel units, Red Star's convoy should be coming into your sights now, over.
Cormack: Roger that, standby.
But then the supposed simple assassination mission turns into a complex one when a six-man team on A.S.T.s surrounds Kim Jong Un's limousine. Making a direct action hit almost impossible.
Smokejumper: Oh, come on.
Victoria: *sighs* This is complicated.
Preacher: Battle Commander, this is Sentinel 9. We have a problem. Kim Jong Un's security detail has A.S.T.s. I say again, enemy secret service has North Korean Operators in A.S.T.s, over.
Battle Commander: Sentinel 9, we already know the North Koreans have A.S.T.s. Technology trickles down to our enemies, over.
Preacher: Affirmative, but the armor's too thick. None of us are equipped to kill A.S.T.s fast, over.
Battle Commander: What the fuck?
Preacher: Battle Commander, I can snipe him from up here. It's the only way to get him quick and cle—
Battle Commander: Negative, Sentinel 9. This is MY operation, not yours.
Preacher: I understand, sir—
Battle Commander: Sentinel 1, Sentinel 2, engage head on! Engage! Engage!
Preacher: Sir— NO, NO, WAIT!
[HBRa3 fire]
[bullets ricocheting]
Lennox: KNOX, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?!
Knox: Oh, SHIT!
[Explosive Chain Gun fire]
Tyler: Smart Grenades! Use your Smart Grenades!
[Smart Grenade detonation]
[MK20 SSR fire]
Preacher: Red Star's down! I say again, Red Star is down! Now deploy Smart Grenades on the A.S.T.s!
[Micro Rocket launches]
[Swarm Missiles launching]
Knox: Argh! I'M HIT!
[HBRa3 fire]
[HK416 A5 fire]
[HBRa3 fire]
[SR-25 fire]
[LVOA-C fire]
Mitchell: Go faster, come on!
[Smart Grenade detonation]
Jackson: Mitchell, get your gun up! We gotta cover 'em!
[HBRa3 fire]
Preacher: Sentinel 1, how's Sentinel 2, over?
Cormack: Knox's legs are full of shrapnel! But he'll live, Victoria and Smokejumper are making sure of that!
Preacher: (on comms) Stay invisible! We're coming down to flank, over! (off comms) They'll need direct support. I'll stay up here and keep an eye out for reinforcements.
[MK20 SSR fire]
Mitchell: And we need to confirm the kill.
Jackson: Alright, let's get down there.
Following Battle Commander's orders, Knox tries to kill the Supreme Leader head on but ends up missing and getting himself injured and immobilized. In response, Preacher rapidly shoots Kim Jong Un in the back nine times, Cormack, Lennox and Tyler counter-attack, Smokejumper and Victoria help the downed Marine Raider Captain, and Jackson and Mitchell head down to help the assault team in anyway they can while the Staff Sergeant maintains overwatch.
After killing the incoming flight crew of the Supreme Leader's Antonov An-24, the Lieutenant Junior Grade and the Gunnery Sergeants confirm Preacher's tough sniper kill.
Tyler: Red Star is still here. No chances, huh Preacher?
Preacher: Never.
Jackson: Scan him, we'll cover.
Tyler: Scanning retina and blood.
[ten second pause]
Tyler: All Sentinel callsigns, Battle Commander, this is Sentinel 6. Kill confirmed. For Carrier Strike Group Three. Red Star is KIA. I say again, Red Star is KIA. Retina and blood are matched 100 percent. Collapse. Collapse.
Preacher: *raises fist* Yes!
Battle Commander: *sighs* Collapse confirmed, Sentinel 6. Now, bag him up and come home. Hammer Down Deployment will commence in 30 Mikes, over.
Tyler: Roger, Battle Commander. Setting up for extraction now, over. I pack Red Star up. Set up the STAR (Surface-To-Air Recovery System) Kit.
Lennox: On it, 6.
Now that Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un himself is confirmed dead, all Task Force Sentinel has to do is to exfiltrate with his body via the Fulton STAR Kit and Darkstar 4-1. But as expected, getting out once the mission is complete will not be easy since every cunt from the Korean People's Army in Pyongyang knows exactly what happened.
Preacher: (on comms) Task Force Sentinel, ready up. We got incoming. I'll draw fire as long as I can. (off comms) Man, I wish I'd brought my XM250 instead.
[MK20 SSR fire]
Lennox: Roger, Sentinel 9! Just don't try to be a hero! Defensive positions!
[HBRa3 fire]
[SR-25 fire]
[HBRa3 fire]
[HK416 A5 fire]
[HBRa3 fire]
[LVOA-C fire]
[HBRa3 fire]
Lennox: Sentinel 3 to Darkstar 4-1, balloon's up. Do you have visual, over?
Darkstar 4-1: Affirmative, Sentinel 3. We have visual. Secure your equipment, fasten your harness, cross your arms, and remember to keep your backs to the wind. Inbound from north to south in two Mikes, over.
Lennox: Understood, 4-1. Sentinel 9, grapple down and regroup on us now! Come on!
Preacher: Grapple line is secure! Heading—
[Gun-2 Minigun fire]
Preacher: Shit! Can't, gun trucks are trying to shoot the balloon down!
[MK20 SSR fire]
Preacher: You ain't taking this simple IRF down with you.
[MK20 SSR clicks]
Preacher: DMR's out!
[Revolution DI Rifle fire]
Cormack: Preacher!
Lennox: Preacher, get the fuck over here! You got one minute and fifteen!
Preacher: Heading down!
[explosions]
Preacher: HOLY FUCK!
[Air Traffic Control Tower crashes]
Mitchell: WILL! WIIIILL!
Preacher: *coughs* I'm okay! Sprinting to you now!
[Revolution DI Rifle fire]
Cormack: Come on, cover Preacher!
Jackson: There's Darkstar!
Lennox: HOOK UP!
[C-17 flies by]
Mitchell: SHIIIIT!
Preacher: *laughs*
The Staff Sergeant successfully protects the Fulton STAR Kit from small arms fire and gets off the Air Traffic Control Tower before two Chonma-216 main battle tanks collapse it. Then he sprints as fast as he could all the way to the rest of Task Force Sentinel.
And just as Darkstar 4-1 comes into view, Preacher hooks up and leaves the AO with his teammates with five seconds to spare. 11:28:59, Korean DMZ, inside the C-17 Globemaster III itself, Task Force Sentinel gets a good view of 30 Nitrogen LGM-30 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles icing North Korea as part of the Hammer Down Deployment in retaliation for the destruction of Carrier Strike Group Three and the invasion of South Korea.
[LGM-30s exploding]
[C-17 shakes]
Knox: And thus, the Nitrogen Bomb claims its second victim.
Preacher: Glad you're okay, sir.
Knox: Appreciate the concern, P.
Preacher: (Latin) If you want peace, prepare for war.
Tyler: John Wick 3?
Preacher: *smiles* Fuck yeah.
Victoria: Oh, I love the John Wick movies. I actually have an aunt who served in the 707th and analyzed the films on YouTube.
Jackson: So, Victoria, Lennox, Smokejumper, Tyler, where are you gonna go now?
Tyler: Get back to SEAL Team 4, of course.
Smokejumper: Australia still needs me, mate.
Lennox: 24th is in Seoul, and they'll need me back in the front lines. Against SOCOM's advice but not my own.
Victoria: Fight alongside my people, Donald Jackson. *smiles*
Victoria: Then I pray you'll survive, Victoria Seo-ah Mi. *smiles* Smoke', Ty'. *nods*
Five minutes later, the S.A.S.R. Major jumps off to join the Australian Defence Force in the Korean Demilitarized Zone. Ten more minutes later, Victoria and Lennox HALO to Seoul to fight alongside the Republic of Korea Armed Forces and the 24th Special Tactics Squadron units deployed there.
Mitchell: Donald Jackson? Aww, you gonna miss Victoria dearly, Don?
Jackson: I hate you, Mitchell. You can go fuck yourself all the way to Hell.
Preacher, Cormack, Mitchell and Knox: *laughing*
Jackson: *laughs at himself*

MISSION COMPLETE
IRF
Despite some poor planning and judgement calls, Task Force Sentinel assassinates Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. Operation Unseen Guillotine is a success. And with the later icy bombardment, North Korea is officially leaderless and homeless. Carrier Strike Group Three is avenged, and South Korea will be free from a one hundred one-year-old enemy in no time.
